"Has it been 50 years already?" Sasuke asks as Sakura fixes his tie, green eyes looking up into his own black orbs as she takes in how handsome he is.
"Is it so hard to believe?" Sakura's voice still musical to him and his fading hearing. He brushes a white strand of hair behind her ear and it settles beautifully back in place among pale pink.
"No, the years just flew by after we had Sarada." He says amused.
Their 48-year-old daughter had been a blessing for them and the two beautiful grandchildren she birthed were just as beautiful as their mother.
Sasuke leads his wife to the front door as he helps her into her coat. Sakura smiles at him as he takes her arm and leads her out of their home.
Outside waited a limo and Sakura laughs. "I see Ayato sent a car for us."
Ayato had been famous before he entered junior high and studied abroad for high school as he was attending competitions around the world for all sorts of musical events. He still visits when he is returns to Konohagakure and he has given thought of moving his wife and son to Konohagakure before his son gets older.
They got in and Sakura leans her head against Sasuke's shoulder as the driver takes off.
"We don't have to have this party." Sasuke says against her hair and he knows she's smiling.
"Too late to turn back now, besides, our family is waiting for us." She slid her hand into his and he lifts it up and kisses it.
"We still have time to turn back." This earns a scowl and he cracks a smirk. "Fine, you win."
She takes in the aged face of they boy who saved her, the man who was once call the Secretary Slayer, a man who hated pink and small spaces and the man she fell in love with, who loved her in return.
She kisses him with no rush and he returns it. Smiling as they look at each other Sakura giggles, resting her head on his shoulder again.
"You know what? I never did tell Ino." Sakura muses.
"Tell her what?" Sasuke asks confused at his wife.
"She was right." Her smile now a grin as she looks at Sasuke and knew he understood as an embarrassed smile formed on his lips meant only for her eyes.
"Yes, she was." He agrees. "But let's not give the hag the satisfaction of the truth."
"That hag is my best friend Mr. Uchiha." She chides him with a scowl, but her eyes hold a hidden humor.
"I'm well aware Mrs. Uchiha." He pokes her forehead. "I'm well aware."
