What was Hydron doing here? Eliminate Rin? This is crazy enough for me but we started by me throwing down a gatecard.

'Bakugan Brawl! Ventus Ingram stand!' Ingram shot up into the sky instantly.

When we all threw down our bakugan Hydron started off first.

'Murasame Arrow!' Dryoid's arrows swung at Ingram and Deltanoid lowering their gs. But Rin got my back.

'Fusion Ability: Black Buster!' Dryoid quickly turned back into ball-form as purple electric waves traveled across the field.

'Dryoid stand!' I didn't know Hydron was that easy to beat.

'Ahh!' Deltanoid cried in pain as he fell to his knees. I thought Dryoid should be the one in pain.

'Deltanoid! Are you alright?' Asked Ingram.

'I think I'm... Never mind.' I knew Deltanoid was lying. Come on! It's really obvious. I thought that was a cue for me to make my move.

'Wind Power-Light Intense Impact!' Ingram shot towards Dryoid but that wasn't enough to take him down.

'Trance Sword!' Dryoid pulled out a light-sabre and swung it at Ingram, nullifying my ability. I gritted my teeth. But, as always, Rin had got my back.

'Death cannon plus Poison Sting!' The attacks came and came from both of us, taking out Hydron was harder than I thought.

'Heavy Demon-Moonlight Slash!' Ingram teleported behind Dryoid and started to get some good hits on him.

'Mar Shield!' What is with blocking attacks? I could see Rin getting irritated as much as I was.

'Gatecard open! Ventus Reactor!' The floor suddenly glowed green.

Under his goggles, Hydron smirked. Yes. He actually smirked. That Bastard. Me and Rin were spending quality time—okay. You could say we were on a date. Until Hydron came along, ruins everything.

'Land Shutter!' The clouds disappeared and we were on the beach again.

'What?!' Shrieked Rin obviously confused.

'Land Shutter is an ability card that nullifies your gatecard and adds 200gs to Dryoid.' The prince said obviously proud of himself.

'Wind Power-Glimmering Shadow Slash!' I was really annoyed with this nullifying thing. Even though Dryoid's gs were high I didn't care. But luckily we were saved.

'Scrambled Sky!' Lightning struck and our gs turned back to normal. Thank God!

'Kazami Style-Ninja Torpedo Slash!' But Hydron had planned for this.

'Gaia Reflector!' The attack got backfired and I ended on 10%.

'Go Ventus Ingram!'

'Murasame Blade!' Dryoid swung it's light-sabre at Deltanoid knocking Rin to 30%.

When she sent out Deltanoid again Hydron had already played the card.

'Accel Speed.' Hydron said sounding bored but he didn't know that Rin beat him to it.

'Shadow Strike!' It was the last ability we used.

'Double Caliber plus Sword Smasher!

I watched in horror as we witnessed our defeat. Knocked against the sand I struggled to get up. This was like our battle with Shadow. I saw Hydron throwing a ball at Rin which was like me.

'I expected more of a fight. Oh well I completed my mission.' A vortex of techno-blue surrounded Rin and started sucking her in. I heaved myself to her and tried to pull her out but came out with no avail.

'Aww, the goody too shoes couple didn't make it to happiness land in the end.' Hydron cooed. He cackled manically as he teleported back to the Vest Palace.

I growled and pulled harder but she sunk deeper.

'Listen.' She whispered. 'I love you.'

Tears formed inside my eyes. 'I love you too.'

Then she sunk so I could only see her up to her shoulders.

'Just say to Dan he was the best brother I had.' With that her head disappeared. A tear slid down my cheek as darkness consumed me.

DAN'S POV

I waited and waited. We found Shun on the beach with all bruises and stuff and Marucho's nurse is taking care of him.

We all surrounded him. Where was Rin?

Shun opened his eyes.

'What happened?' His voice was croaky. Oh no! Was Shun losing his voice?!

'We found you on the beach, what happened?' Runo asked. Shun sat up but said nothing.

He only breathed out the word.

'Hydron.'
