Nell pulled one of the invitations out. They were just perfect. The card was light yellow. On the front was a picture of Callen's, Nell's and Maeve's hand lying together, it was shaded into the card.

"Aw look at her little hand," Nell spoke.

"Yeah, she's so cute."

On the left bottom of the card where two silver wedding rings. They opened the card. On the left side was a picture of Callen and Nell, they were giving each other a soft kiss. On the right side stood the text:

I'm happy to announce that my mommy and daddy are getting married.

We would all like you to be there for this special day.

The wedding will start at 2pm and will take place at:

"This is just perfect," Callen spoke.

"Yes it is. It's beautiful."

Callen took Maeve upstairs to put her into bed. He bathed her first. Maeve smiled up to him as Callen washed her.

"You're such a little cutie."

Callen dried her off, put her diaper on and dressed her for bed. He sat on the rocking chair and read her Cinderella as he gently rocked her. After a short while Maeve fell asleep. Carefully Callen stood up. He gave her a soft kiss on her head and put her down in her crib.

"Goodnight my little princess," Callen whispered.

While Callen was upstairs Nell wrote the addresses on the envelopes, put the invitations in it and sealed it.

"Hey honey, I'm done with the invitations already."

"That's good."

Callen sat next to Nell on the couch.

"I was thinking Nell, we still have the let the DJ know our song."

"Oh yes, that's right. Did you make a list already?"

"Yes, I have. Have you?"

"Yes I have too."

"Where's yours?" Callen spoke as he got up and walked to their wedding box.

"It's in the box too."

Callen pulled their lists out and set back on the couch next to Nell.

"Let's see what we have here." Callen looked over the lists. There were 3 songs they both had in common. "Which one do you like best?"

"I like this one."

"Me too."

They had decided to go with Jason Mraz' I won't give up. Callen grabbed his phone and emailed the DJ their choice. The rest of the evening they just lounged on the couch watching some TV.

Nell went to check on Maeve before they went to bed. Callen was already in bed when Nell joined him. Callen rolled over so he was on top of Nell.

"I love you so much Nell," Callen spoke passionately.

"I love you very much too G."

Callen smiled at her and kissed her deeply. Nell loved his kisses. His lips were just so good at doing wonders to her body. To make matters worse Callen moved his lips down to her neck and sucked on her pulse point.

"Hmmm G," Nell moaned.

Callen moved his hand under Nell's PJ top and touched her bare skin. His touches were so good at setting her skin on fire.

Nell hadn't protested so far so he went a step further. He grabbed her hips and pushed up against her hard, letting her feel how bad he needed her. The things Callen was doing to her body felt amazing but something inside of her was telling her to stop, that she was not ready for this. But she wanted him so bad too, so she decided to play along. Callen kept her pressed firmly against the matrass as his hands went back up underneath her PJ top, this time going up until he found her breasts. He took Nell's top off so he had more skin to kiss. This woman was just so intoxicating to him. It wasn't until she felt his lips, his oh so skillful lips, on her breasts that she shot up and pushed Callen aside.

"What's wrong honey?" Callen asked concerned, afraid he had done something wrong.

"I'm sorry honey. I'm just not ready for this."

Nell pulled her top back on and lay on the bed, her back facing Callen.

"It's okay honey, I'm sorry. I should have asked you first. I'm sorry. It's okay. We'll just wait." Callen gave her a soft kiss on her shoulder and cheek. "It's okay honey."

Nell fell asleep a little while later. Callen lay awake in the bed, staring at the ceiling. He wanted to make love to Nell again so badly, but he understood that she wasn't ready yet. But he did have a problem now. He was still turned on by their little making out session so he decided to get a cold shower. He stood under the shower and let the cold water wash over him but it wasn't working. Nell was on his mind, naked Nell. He shook his head trying to get the images out so he could calm down but it wasn't working. So he opted to help himself, while thinking of Nell, making love to his wonderful fiancé, making her moan as they made love. It didn't take him long for him to finish. He relaxed against the cold tiles as the water ran over him. This would have felt so much better if it he had been with Nell. He cleaned up the shower, turned it off and stepped out. To his surprise he found Nell standing there.

"What are you doing here?" Callen asked surprised.

"Maeve was crying so I went out to change her diaper."

"Sorry she woke you up, I just needed a shower."

"Yeah I could see that."

"You saw that?" Callen asked a little bit embarrassed.

"Yes I did."

"I'm sorry Nell. I'm… uhmmm."

"It's okay G. I should have stopped you right away."

"Don't worry about it Nell. I shouldn't have initiated it. It's just…" Callen spoke as he wrapped his arms around Nell's waist. "I love you and I miss making love to you."

"I know honey, me too. I want to do it but I'm not ready."

"I know Nell. It's okay. We'll wait. I don't want you to do it just for me. I want you to be comfortable with it. I'm sorry you saw that. I just needed to get rid of it. But trust me, I was thinking about you the whole time," Callen spoke with a smile.

"That's good." Nell stood on her tippy toes and gave Callen a kiss. "It's actually nice to know that I turn you on so fast."

"Oh you have no idea," Callen smirked at her.

Callen gave her another kiss before he dried himself off, dressed himself and crawled back into bed. Nell crawled close to him and they fell asleep in each other's arms.

Maeve was now 7 weeks old. Today was Halloween. It was on a Friday so Callen did have to go to work. While Callen was at work Nell decorated the house for Halloween as Maeve lay in her playpen. She carved some pumpkins, made some bats, garlands and lanterns. She decorated the house on the inside. She put Maeve in her bouncy chair and put her outside on the bench they had on the veranda. She decorated the veranda while keeping an eye on Maeve. The rest of the front yard she would do when Callen was at home.

It was a slow day at the office so Callen was home just past 5pm.

"Hey honey," Callen greeted Nell and gave her a kiss.

"Hey baby, how was work?"

"Fine, slow day so caught up on some paperwork. How was yours?"

"Good, decorated the house a bit already."

"Yes, I can see. It looks nice."

"Could you watch Maeve while I go do the rest of the decorations outside?"

"Of course."

Nell grabbed the decorations and went outside. Callen walked over to the playpen where Maeve was.

"Hey little girl." Maeve smiled as she looked up to her daddy. Callen picked her up. "Daddy missed you today." Callen gave her a soft kiss on her head. "Daddy loves you. You're such a cute little girl."

Callen held her up like an airplane and brought her down to him and blew kisses on her tummy causing Maeve to giggle. A few minutes later Nell was done and she saw Callen sitting on the couch, playing with Maeve. She smiled at the sight. He was such a cute daddy. She took her phone and took a picture of them. Callen looked up and saw Nell standing there.

"Hey honey, did you finish putting the decorations up?"

"Yes I did."

"Good."

"I'm gonna get started on dinner now."

"That's fine."

After dinner they went to change into their Halloween costumes. Nell was dressed as Cinderella, Callen as prince charming and Maeve was dressed as a baby Cinderella.

"Alright, just take a picture real quick."

Nell put the camera on the dresser as Callen and Maeve sat on the bed. Nell sat the timer and joined Callen and Maeve on the bed. The picture was taken and Nell looked at it on the camera.

"Aw, look at Maeve. She's so cute."

"Yes she is."

They went downstairs and waited for the trick-or-treaters. The garden looked awesome. There were bats and spiders hanging of the veranda, a tombstone stood next to the door. They had a fog machine so the garden was covered in fog. Spider webs hung on the fence and around the garden several tombstones where placed, on the bench on the veranda stood some pumpkins. The lanterns hung from the veranda.

A little later the first trick-or-treaters came. Callen held Maeve and Nell got the candy and opened the door.

"Trick or treat," the kids spoke.

"Well you look beautiful. Let's see what we have here. I see a pirate, a princess, a minion, a ninja and a cop," Nell spoke.

The kids smiled as she got it right. Nell put some candy in each of their bags.

"Thank you," the kids spoke and went on their way.

By the end of the evening they were out of candy. They had brought Maeve to bed a few hours ago already.

"That was really fun," Callen spoke.

"Yes it was. And you look very handsome in your prince charming outfit. You are my prince charming," Nell smiled at him.

"And you are my Cinderella," Callen replied as he wrapped his arms around her waist and he gave Nell a kiss. "I love you Nell Jones."

"And I love you G Callen and I can't wait to be your wife."

"Me neither….. well your husband then. It's just a few months now."

"Yeah, it's getting close."

Callen gave her one more kiss and went to clean up outside. Nell cleaned up inside.

….

That weekend they took Maeve to the indoor swimming pool for some baby swimming lessons. Nell took Maeve with her to get dressed. They put their valuables in the locker before finding a spot to put their towels. They had special baby floaters at the pool. Nell put Maeve in her floater and Callen swam it around in the water. Maeve was enjoying herself as Callen guided her through the water. The teacher told them some things they could do with Maeve while they were in the water. Maeve loved it. Callen and Nell could both tell that she would be a little water bug.

This was a trial lesson. Next week Maeve could start taking classes. Nell was looking forward to going swimming with her. This lesson was to see if Maeve would like swimming. Maeve really enjoyed it so Nell would start taking her to swimming lessons.

….

Today was Maeve's first real swimming lesson. Callen was at work so Nell went alone with Maeve. Nell took some of Maeve's water toys with her so she could play with them. Nell dressed Maeve in her swimming diaper and Nell changed into her swim suit as well. She got into the shallow water with Maeve and waited for the class to begin.

They started with just floating the babies on their backs. Nell held Maeve under her neck and under her butt. Nell made sure she had eye contact with Maeve at all times.

They were giving special baby floaters to put the babies in. Nell guided Maeve through the water in her floater. Maeve tried to kick her legs in the water. Maeve was all smiles as Nell guided her through the water.

Next Nell grabbed one of Maeve's water toys. Maeve held her hand out and tried to grab it. Together with Nell Maeve pushed the little duck around the water. Maeve really had a good time.

After 25 minutes the class was over. Nell wrapped Maeve into the towel hoody and took her to the dressing room. Nell dried Maeve off and dressed her before getting herself dressed.

It was almost lunchtime so Nell decided to drop by the office.

"Hey guys," Nell spoke as she walked into the bullpen.

"Hey Nell," Kensi replied.

Callen stood up and walked over to Nell.

"Hey honey," Callen spoke and gave Nell a soft kiss. "Hey my little water bug, did you have fun with mommy?" Callen spoke as he picked Maeve up.

"Yes she loved it. She loves being in the water."

"That's good. Yeah did you have fun with mommy huh," Callen spoke to Maeve as he tickled her tummy.

They heard Eric's whistle at the top of the stairs.

"Hey Nell," Eric said. "Sorry to interrupt guys but we've got a case."

The others went upstairs already.

"Bye my little sweetie," Callen said to Maeve and gave her a soft kiss and handed her back to Nell. "Bye honey, I'll see you later."

"Bye sweetie," Nell replied and gave Callen a kiss.

….

Today was Maeve's 2 month checkup with the doctor. Callen was called into work early so he couldn't go with.

Nell undressed Maeve so the doctor could weigh her. She weighed 8½ pounds and was 23 inches long. Just like the one month checkup the doctor checked her heart and lungs, her eyes, ears and mouth for any sign of infections, her head and body, she pressed down on her belly to check for a hernia or any enlarged organs, she moved her legs around to see if her hips were functioning properly. She also checked her genitals for any sign of infection.

"Your baby is doing very well. Everything looks normal."

Nell was relieved to hear that.

"Is your baby still sleeping and eating the same as the last checkup?"

"Yes she is."

"How is her head control?"

"Well she looks up when we speak to her and she looks around to see where the voice came from."

"That's good. How does she react when you talk to her?"

"She smiles when we talk to her and she babbles a bit. She also smiles when we tickle her or blow kisses on her tummy or when we play with her and her toys."

"That's good. Can she push up on her forearms?"

"A little bit, not that much really."

"That's okay, they usually learn this around 4 months. She's doing very well. I'm gonna go give her some more shots now."

Nell held Maeve as the doctor cave Maeve the shots. Maeve got shots for pneumococcal, DTaP, Hib and polio (combined in 2 shots) and a rotavirus vaccine, this one was giving orally.

Maeve didn't like the shots so she started crying. Nell held her and comforted her.

"Shh it's okay sweetie, it's okay."

Nell gently rocked her in her arms and tried to get her to suck on her pacifier. Eventually Maeve took the pacifier and she calmed down. Nell made an appointment for in 2 months on her way out.

Once she was home she called Callen.

"Hey Nell."

"Hey G, you got a minute to talk?"

"Yes, it's fine. Is everything okay?"

"Yes everything is fine. I just got back from Maeve's appointment. She's doing very well. Everything was perfectly fine."

"That's good to hear. I'm glad she's doing fine."

"Yeah me too."

….

Today was thanksgiving. Nell's family was coming over. Callen did have the day off today but there was a chance, as always, that he would be called in. He just hoped he wouldn't have to go in today.

"Good morning honey," Callen spoke when he noticed Nell was up.

"Good morning honey," Nell replied as she rolled over on her side.

Callen wrapped his arms around her and gave her a kiss.

"Happy thanksgiving."

"Happy thanksgiving."

"What time is your family getting here?"

"Around 2."

"Okay."

Callen wanted to kiss Nell but they were interrupted by Maeve's crying.

"I'll get here," Callen spoke and he got out of bed. "Hey my little girl."

Maeve smiled when she saw Callen's face. Callen picked her up and gave her a kiss. He put her down on the changing table and undressed her. He changed her diaper and dressed her. He didn't dress her in her thanksgiving clothes yet. They would do that after her afternoon nap.

He took her downstairs and fed her the bottle. Nell came downstairs a little later and made them some breakfast. They didn't need to do grocery shopping today, they had bought everything already yesterday.

After breakfast Nell already got started on doing some preparations for the dinner.

In the afternoon Nell went to pick up her family. Callen stayed home since Maeve was taking her afternoon nap.

Nell stood at the gate waiting for her family to come out.

"Hey mom," Nell called when she saw her mother.

"Hey Nell," Miranda spoke as she walked up to her and gave her a hug. "How are you sweetie?"

"I'm good mom. You?"

"Good too."

"Hey Nell," Kevin greeted her and gave her a hug too.

Nell greeted the rest of her family before they made their way to the car.

"Where's Maeve?" Miranda asked.

"She's at home, she was taking her afternoon nap."

"Ah okay."

They loaded the luggage into Callen's Mercedes and Nell drove them home. Callen was at the door when they arrived.

"Hey Glen," Miranda greeted her son-in-law and gave him a hug.

"Hey Miranda."

"Hey Glen," Kevin greeted and shook his hand.

"Hey Kevin."

Callen helped carry the luggage inside. Callen, Kevin and Nell's brother Ryan carried the luggage upstairs to the guest room. Just as they were about to go downstairs Maeve woke up.

"I'll get her Nell," Callen called. "Hey my little girl."

Callen took Maeve out of her crib, changed her diaper and dressed her. He dressed her in her thanksgiving clothes. Maeve wore a red dress with black hearts on it and a black and white dotted sash in the middle. In her hair she was wearing a black and white dotted bow.

"Look who's here," Callen called as he walked into the living room.

"Hey, there's my little granddaughter," Miranda spoke.

Callen handed Maeve to Miranda.

"Hey my little girl."

Maeve was passed around so everyone got to hold her. Maeve was a very happy baby, she didn't care who was holding her.

A little later Nell, Miranda and Chloe disappeared into the kitchen to get started on dinner. Maeve lay in her playpen and the guys just talked to each other.

"How are you enjoying fatherhood so far?" Kevin asked.

"I'm loving it. Maeve is just such a cute little girl. I love her so much. I'm very happy to have her with Nell. They are my everything."

"That's good to know. Is she sleeping through the night already?"

"No not yet. But it's getting less than in the beginning. It's only 1 or 2 times now."

"That's good."

"Yeah and Nell has been taking her to swimming lessons. She loves those. She's a little water bug already. I had no idea you could take a baby swimming this early already."

"Yeah you can. Apparently babies can swim a bit already when they are just born."

"Yeah apparently. Maeve loves it."

In the kitchen the women were making dinner.

"So how are you and Glen doing?" Miranda asked.

"We're doing really good. We love having Maeve with us. She's such a cute little girl. I love her so much and Glen is so good with her."

"That's good to hear. And we got your wedding invitation, it was really beautiful."

"Thanks. I can't wait to be married to Glen. I love him so much."

"Yes I can see that. I'm happy for you, that you found someone to have a family with."

"Yeah, I'm really happy right now."

"That's good."

Just after 6pm the family sat down to eat. Nell had fed Maeve before dinner and she was sitting in her swing chair next to Callen. They had a stuffed turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, bread and some salad. Dinner was really delicious. For desert Miranda had made her famous tiramisu.

"This is really delicious Miranda," Callen spoke.

"Thank you."

Maeve started to fuss, letting them know she was tired. Nell wanted to get up to bring Maeve to bed but Miranda stopped her.

"Allow me."

"She has to be fed first."

"If I can, I would love to do it."

"Alright, I'll go warm her bottle up."

Nell went into the kitchen and warmed Maeve's bottle up. Once it was hot enough she gave the bottle to her mom.

"Just make sure it's not too hot and hold it a bit angled," Nell said.

"I know sweetie, I know how to feed a baby, don't worry."

Maeve started sucking on the pacifier and drank the entire bottle.

"She's a hungry little girl."

"Yes she is."

Miranda burped her and held her a bit before taking her upstairs. She changed her diaper and changed her for bed. Miranda sat in the rocking chair and held Maeve until she had fallen asleep. Carefully she got up and she placed Maeve in her crib.

"Goodnight my little sweetie."

Everyone stayed downstairs for a few more hours before going to bed as well. When they were in the bed Callen pulled Nell to him and kissed her deeply.

"I'm so thankful to have you and Maeve in my life, I don't know what I would do without you two. I love you two so much."

"We love you too G. I'm so thankful to have this beautiful little girl with you and to be your fiancé."

Callen gave her one more kiss before they fell asleep.

It was early the next morning when Nell woke up. Callen was still sleeping soundly next to her. She had to go out to pee but first she went to check on Maeve. She walked into the room and walked up to her crib.

A second later Callen shot up when he heard Nell scream.
