Hi! I am really sorry that i didn't write anything for so long! I didn't have too much free time. I will work harder and catch up! And I thank all the people who commented my story. I am still making mistakes but I hope you will forgive me that. Please enjoy ;)

Man, who answered Mai, turned around. His friends did the same thing. In the same time, Taniyama understood that they weren't friendly ghosts. She looked at theirs faces and got a little scared. One of them had many scars and part of his face was burned. The other men on his face had some kind of a brand that looked demonic. A third person barely had his head. It looked like it was handing only at a small account of the neck. Theirs smiles weren't good or nice, they were strange and fateful.

Mai wasn't moving. She was only staring at them in silent.

''Aren't you afraid of us?'' One of them spoke. It was a man with brand on his face.

''I am, but I also want to hear your answer. If I run, I won't get it.''

''Are you sure you want to know about that boy?'' Some other asked.

''Yes.'' Mai's voice was calm.

''It's not a story for children.''

''Even so, I must know. Can you please tell me?''

''It's ok. We will tell you but you have to promise us something…''

''What do you want from me?'' Mai didn't like an idea of doing something for ghosts who could have been dangerous in a certain sense, but didn't have much of a choice. She wanted to know that story.

''You will visit someone on our behalf…''

''That's all?'' It didn't seem like that.

''You will tell that person something. Only as much.''

Mai was wandering if she should make a promise with them. She knew it isn't a good idea to promise anything to spirits but she agreed either way.

''If your story will help me solve a case, I will meet the person you want me to meet and I will pass a message. Is that fine with you?''

Every ghost which were there smiled. In their eyes were something which Mai couldn't described. They wanted to make a deal with her.

''So now tell me about that boy…'' Mai said.

''Not so fast. We will tell you so don't be afraid. We keep our promises. We will tell you in the near future.'' A man who told that was smiling all the time and his way of telling it sounded like a joke for him. It was weird.

''What do you mean? I want to…''' Taniyama couldn't finish her sentence and before she realized it she came back to her original body.

Akira were beside Mai's body all the time. He didn't realize that she weren't with him. He just thought that the past five minutes she had closed eyes. When she spoken to him he didn't know that her journey just ended.

''I think we can go back for now.'' She was in a bad mood.

Mai turned around even if her head were extremely hurting. She didn't get any answer like she thought she will have.

''Did you meet any ghost? What they were like?'' Akira sounded excited.

Taniyama thought of telling him everything but she knew that boy would ask more question after that so she decided to lie.

''No, I didn't. I am sorry.''

She felt bad. Her heart started hurting more and more. She knew that since her return she was lying all the time. She regretted it but didn't know what else she could do. Lying was easier that telling the whole truth.

SOME TIME LATER…

''Something happened?'' Mai just got back and saw the whole SPR's group in one of rooms they were using.

''It seems like Yasuhara and John found something.'' Matsuzaki told her.

SOMEWHERE ELSE…

''Where are you going Kei?'' A woman with red hair asked a handsome boy a question.

He was packing some things to a quite big bag. He looked at the 30-year old woman standing next to the door to his room. When he turned around his dark hair moved a little and his green eyes became bigger.

''Kahoko, when did you returned?'' He looked like a caught child while doing something wrong.

''I asked first.'' She smiled and came closer to the boy who was smiling too.

''I got caught, didn't I?'' He laughed.

''You want to visit that man? Are you sure?''

''No, I am not. But I must do something.'' He started packing his things again while talking to the older woman.

''And how are going to help him?''

''I will figure it out somehow.'' Kei just finished his work and put a bag on his shoulders. Then he headed towards the door. ''Maybe I can visit Mai too. I really want to meet that fellow who rejected my little princess. And I want to drink her coffee again.''

He smiled while telling that and after that he left the house.

''She will kill you if you say unnecessary things.'' Kahoko told herself. ''And I am praying for you and even for your stupid choices.''
