Tonight Finn was going to try and become the quarterback again. He liked Sam and all but he really needed his spot back and besides he was the quarterback first so he had more experience than Sam.

They were down by a few points when Bieste gave them their next plays and Sam was going over it with them. Finn however took leadership and thought they should do something else. He would go left. There was this giant, but Finn knew he could handle him; at least that's what he thought.

Finn had the phone, but the giant tackled him and hard, at that. He was down and he just cost the team another touch down. He arm felt like shit. Actually he couldn't really feel it at all. It hurt, but it didn't. It was like a type of numbing pain, if you could describe it at that.

The team and some adults went around. "Dude, I told you that guy was an animal." Sam added as they took a quick look at Finn. He didn't sound or look good. He couldn't move and he felt terrible. It was his arm… or maybe his shoulder? No it was his arm and it really hurt.

"I don't understand, that guy came out of nowhere." Finn said as he groaned over the pain.

"I know. That guy's been cheating all night." Bieste said as the other looked him over and the other teammates, Puck, Sam, Mike, Artie, and all the other guys looked at each other. What were they going to do without Finn now?

"We need to get him to the ER." One man said and Bieste nodded and handing the football to Sam. "The game is in your hands, Evans." She said and then followed the men that carried Finn off the field.

Finn was taken to the hospital. He didn't like hospitals. He knew they'd help him, but to do so, they'd have to hurt him some more. He knew it was childish thinking like that, but it didn't matter. Everyone knew it.

He hoped his shoulder wasn't dislocated so he wouldn't have to get it popped back in. He was brought in to the ER and was instantly surrounded by doctors. He closed his eyes, but they made him keep them open. He probably had a concussion and they couldn't have him go to sleep after a head injury.

Then he heard a voice. A voice he'd recognize anywhere. He tried to see where it came from, but couldn't move his head or neck as it was being places and the doctor had him so he couldn't move. Not including his eyes of course. But then he saw her. Rachel. She came for him. Finn sighed as he was glad to see her.

"Oh baby, are you okay?" Rachel asked as she was terrified and horrified to see her boyfriend like that. She didn't like it as much as Finn probably didn't like feeling the way he did as well as being in a hospital, surrounded by doctors.

Finn moaned and Rachel grabbed his hand. "It's okay, I'm here. I got you." Rachel said, she knew that Finn wasn't happy at all about this. Who would be anyway. He was probably scared to death. She thought as the doctors still examined him.

"Ma'am, you need to stand back." One doctor said, but Finn had a grip on her hand so she couldn't. The doctor didn't understand until a few moments later. "Alright, is he family?" He asked and she shook her head. "Girlfriend." Finn mumbled.

"Alright." The doctor said and looked at the others. "We'll need an x- ray. It's probably dislocated, but it could be just a break. He seems to be in a lot of pain." Another doctor said and they nodded.

"Let's get me on some medication to help with the pain first. Maybe sedate him." One doctor suggested and they nodded. "We can't sedate him, but we can help him with the pain." Rachel followed, Finn gripping her hand tightly as they bought him back so they could give him some medicine to help the pain.

A nurse came in and started preparing the IV medication and Finn grasped Rachel's hand tightly. He probably wasn't fond of needles. Like any other person. "It's okay baby, it'll help you." Rachel said as she put the needle in his arm and he grasped her hand tightly. She was sure that she'd need an x- ray of her hand now. But at least her boyfriend would soon be in less pain.

After a few minutes, Finn seemed better and a little more calm than before. They had Rachel wait in that room as they took Finn for an x- ray. It was only a few minutes before they were back in the room.

"It's a clean break. We'll set it and he should be in a cast for a few weeks." One doctor said and then left the two alone for a few minutes.

"What did they say?" Finn asked, as he became more aware of what was going on.

"You broke your arm. You'll be in a cast for a few weeks. So looks like you'll be on the football bench for a while. And you don't have a concussion, so good news." Rachel said and Finn sighed in relief and in disappointment.

Glad it wasn't dislocated. He got lucky, but now he wouldn't even be playing football now. Sam was going to be a head of the game by the time Finn was back on the field. But Finn knew this injury could have been worse, he could have dislocated his shoulder, he could have maybe even needed surgery. He should be greatful for this. There were people who were going through worse.

"Thanks for coming, Rach." Finn said and Rachel smiled. She would always come for him and she was glad to help him. Especially when he got frightened by that IV needle. "It's okay. And don't worry, my hand is fine." Rachel said, dive like.

"What?"

"It kind of hurts from when you squeezed it when you got a tiny little needle." Rachel teased and Finn tried to hide his embarrassment blush. "Sorry, I don't like them, even if my arm hurt more than it did."

"It's okay honey. I'm just glad that guy out there didn't kill you." Rachel added and Finn laughed.

"Then he would be dead. From having to deal with you." Finn joked and Rachel rolled her eyes and placed a kiss on her boyfriend's lips. He smiled. What did he do to deserve an amazing girl like Rachel? He had no clue on that. All he knew was the next few weeks were going to be a struggle.

Okay… I lied. I did write a chapter. And don't worry "Save Me" readers I'm working on it so hopefully I'll post it soon. I wrote the chapter in my notebook, I just have to finish typing it.

Anyway, next chapter will probably be Klaine. Let's hope I can write that by tomorrow. But tomorrow I have a history and geometry test as well as a dentist appointment! So idk if I will get to it.
