Well guys another chapter for you all I have to say thanks for your support it mean a lot to me that you like this story and I would like to thank EmperorDraco7 for co-writer this with me as it get it up a lot faster, anyway with this chapter we end the fight with Ginyu which I'm sure you'll like how it ends.
Chapter 26 Ginyu's end
Chi-Chi arrived at the Sacred Land of Korin, while it didn't take that long to get here… she gave a small sigh as never in her entire life had she been prompted to do something like this but never the less, she actually felt that she needed to actually change herself not just through training but via wanting to push herself to become a better fighter. "I must be out of my mind…" she said to herself as she prepared herself for the impending climb up the tower, especially as if she's to wait for that second Capsule Corp spaceship to be ready then she may as well make the most of it by attempting to climb to the top of the tower much like her husband did during his childhood days. "Okay, here goes nothing!"
Swallowing hard, she saw how high the tower was yet at the same time she still needed to prove herself as more than just some housewife but someone who will be willingly to die to save those she cared about no matter how powerful the enemy was. More so as with Goku, Gohan, Krillin, Bulma, Vanera and Videl on Planet Namek, Piccolo, Mr. Satan, Tien, Chiaotzu and Yamcha being dead and a powerful warrior needed just in case Earth is attacked while the others were absent. Sometimes she wondered to herself if Goku's needing to test himself is starting to rub off on her somehow and mentally cursed him if it was true.
Sure Korin Tower was huge and that there were those who attempted to climb to the top but failed such as Upa's father Bora but Master Roshi and Goku managed to succeed in the task, hell even Yajirobe, Tien, Chiaotzu, Krillin and Yamcha all managed to achieve what was once believed to be impossible so if she can do so then perhaps it can prove that human females can do what male warriors are capable of doing so. "Hold it right there!" she heard a voice that caused her to stop what she was doing and a spear thrown at her nearly caused her to fall on her rear as she then turned to see that it was a tall, muscular Native American man
"Who are you?" asked Chi-Chi, getting into a fighting stance and while grateful that the spear didn't go through her chest, is not too happy about the man as it seemed that he wasn't exactly thrilled to see someone coming to what was village but at the same time, she has heard about the place from Goku even though he neglected to mention the part where the residents are wary of any trespassers and will retaliate if actually threatened.
"My name is Bora and you are trespassing on sacred ground." began the large Native American male, recovering his spear and while he gave Chi-Chi a serious glare there was something familiar about the yellow cloud that she had with her. "That cloud you have with you, why do I feel that I have seen it before?"
"You mean the Flying Nimbus?" wondered Chi-Chi, somewhat surprised that Bora was rather familiar with the Nimbus Cloud that brought her to this place because she wanted to train in order to better become ready to be of some proper aid to the Earth while waiting for the spaceship to be completed by Dr. Brief. "That's my husband's; he left in order to help our only son and his friends on Planet Namek as well as to bring back the ones who died fighting the Saiyans earlier."
"Wait, your husband?" Hearing this made Bora even more suspicious and at the same time curious to know who this husband of hers was, since he knew that there was another who had a similar cloud as his means of transportation though it couldn't be the same person who rode it many years ago ever since the defeat of the evil King Piccolo. "What is his name?"
Being rather suspicious at Bora, Chi-Chi thought about her words carefully and then gave a light smirk on her face as she had a feeling that this man was starting to realize she isn't a threat to neither his village nor the tower itself. "It's Goku, the one who defeated King Piccolo and won the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament 5 years following that conflict." she replied, wanting to show she is truthful in what she's saying and felt it needed to be said as it seemed Bora was familiar with the pure-hearted Saiyan she loved.
"G…Goku?!" exclaimed Bora in disbelief, causing him to remember when he and his son Upa first met Goku when the Saiyan Warrior was a little boy following the Red Ribbon Army's failed attempt to kill the male native prior to Mercenary Tao being sent to retrieve the Dragonball that was located in the Land of Korin, plus memories of helping Goku and Yajirobe climb up Korin Tower during the conflict with King Piccolo also flashed before his very eyes.
Giving a much needed sigh of relief, Chi-Chi is glad that the Native American was starting to realize that she means no harm and she'll need to explain to him about why she's here. "Yes, it's a long story and it might take a while to explain everything." she responded before beginning to explain to Bora about her reason of coming to the Land of Korin as she wanted to become strong enough to help her husband and their son since her concern for them is making her want to take action.
Meanwhile back on Namek Burter could only watch as he saw Vegeta as the Saiyan prince looked directly into Burter's read eyes before Vegeta put his hand over Burter's face as he widened his eyes at this and gave a growl. "Damn you dirty Saiyan Lord Frieza will make sure you suffer for this."
Vegeta simple smiled at what he heard Burter say before the Saiyan prince blasted him away with an energy wave, obliterating him. That drew rest of Z-Fighter and Ginyu's attention to Vegeta.
Goku shouted out to his fellow and what he had done. "Vegeta! You didn't have to go that far!"
Vegeta stared down at Goku and scoffed. "You just keep on spouting that soft-hearted nonsense of yours, Kakarot! You'll never become a Super Saiyan! I'm the only one who has that capacity!"
"What? You, a Super Saiyan?" growled Ginyu, know that he will make Vegeta pay for killing his remaining Ginyu Force member once he's done with the two brats getting in his way as they were trying to make him attempt to switch bodies with one of them so that Goku can step in and reclaim his own body.
Vegeta diverted his attention to Ginyu, and sighed, "Haven't you taken care of Ginyu yet?" then he smirked. "All right then, I'll dispose of him for you! Move it!" He charged down towards Ginyu, as Ginyu threw Gohan out of their way. Vegeta dodged Ginyu's punch, and uppercut punched him, sending him up away into the sky. He quickly rocketed behind the opponent and double kicked him up into the air. Then, he flew up into the air above the opponent. Finally, he knocked Ginyu down to the ground with a Double Axe Handle, injuring him severely. Goku, Vanera, Krillin, Gohan and Videl were shocked.
"Damn we need to do something before Vegeta kills Goku off." Vanera thought as she continued to watch Vegeta attack and knew that this is what Ginyu wanted.
"Oh man, this was not part of the plan…" muttered Krillin, mentally cursing the Saiyan Prince for what he's done and is less than thrilled when he sees the next thing that their enemy was going to do next. "We gotta stop him before he ruins everything and Goku's stuck like this forever!"
"Say goodbye Ginyu, it's time to die!" grinned Vegeta, diving down at his opponent and determined to finish Ginyu off once and for all though Vanera is about to intervene when something unexpected happened. "Give my regards to the rest of your associates in hell!"
The leader of the Ginyu Force had at least one last trick up his sleeve, especially as he's going to make sure that the traitor never gets the chance to land the finishing blow. "Change Now!" he yelled, deciding to switch bodies with Vegeta and use the Saiyan Prince's body to eliminate his enemies.
"Great, now he's going to switch bodies with Vegeta?!" growled Vanera, knowing she needed to do something though she immediately realized that this can be their one and only chance to get Goku back to normal as she turned to her friend. "Goku, you think that you'll be able to intercept that swap in your condition?"
"I… I can try!" he replied back, nodding to Vanera as he jetted off in order to shield Vegeta from Ginyu's attempt to switch bodies as they needed to act fast if they were to succeed in this even if the male Saiyan Prince was about to deliver the killing blow to his opponent.
Just as this happened Ginyu whole body began to glow yellow and all Vegeta could do was look on is shock over what was going on with Ginyu as he saw the leader smiling at him. It was then Vegeta knew full well that he had been tricked by the captain and fell into the trap. "Damn it!" Was all Vegeta could say knowing that there was now much he could do.
However luck was on his side as just before Ginyu could get Vegeta's body, Goku managed to get in the way of Ginyu's attack. While Vegeta himself was taken back but this he still had a smirk on his face however knowing that once this happened he was going to not only kill Ginyu but Goku as well, that would just leave Vanera and the other three useless fools left for him to deal with.
With a smile on her face Vanera as she looked over to Krillin and Gohan. "Don't worry you two Goku is back in his body." She said with a reassuring smile on her face.
"Damn it I'm back in my old body!" Ginyu said as he tightened his fist while Goku was now on the ground and unable to move is body.
The captain of the Ginyu force soon began to look around the battle and knew that with how hurt his body was he would need to switch to another body, and he still had eyes on Vegeta's. "There still might be a chance." Ginyu thought as he gave a twisted smile on his face.
"Well..." Goku began as his friends all rushed over to see how he was doing. "I'm back in my own body again." He said as he gave a light laugh but even that was painful for him to do.
"Daddy, are you okay?" Gohan asked with deep concern in his voice at seeing his father this hurt and wished there was something that he could at least do to help him and soon looked up to Vanera.
Yet Vanera knew that they had no more Senzu beans left to hand out since most had been used on their way to Namek while training. And she couldn't help but curse her luck wishing that she had at least saved one now.
"Mummy is there anything that we can do?" Videl asked her mother as she knew that they would still need to deal with Ginyu and then Vegeta.
"Well let's hope that we can I mean we still have Frieza that we might have to fight, and I'm hoping that we won't have to." Vanera said as she knew all too well that that was a fight that none of them could win.
It was then that Ginyu decided he will just have to try and switch bodies with Vegeta again and believing that with the power the Saiyan Prince possessed then he will be unstoppable then prepared himself to use his Body Change ability again the moment the Saiyan Prince came right down at him again, causing the leader of the Ginyu Force to laugh evilly. "Come and get me Vegeta! Change Now…" he yelled however Vegeta teleported away and began delivering the smack-down that the remaining Ginyu Force member had ever received while everyone watched in slight surprise at the fact Ginyu wasn't even attempting to fight back which made them realize that he is planning to switch bodies with Vegeta at just the right moment.
"Damn it, we gotta do something and fast…" muttered Vanera, biting her lower lip and feeling that there can only be one way to stop Ginyu even if she and Goku hated to do this but right now there seemed to be no other choice, especially as Vegeta slammed Ginyu onto the ground then with a powerful punch, sent the last remaining Ginyu Force member into the sky before kicking him back down through a mountain and proceeded with a barrage of Ki attacks in an effort to take his opponent down for good.
Eventually after landing, he wanted to make certain that Ginyu had perished though to his dismay, it was not the case as the smoke began clearing to reveal that the Captain had indeed survived as he got himself out from under the rubble with another evil laugh. "Strong work, very impressive." he said.
Hearing this sarcastic compliment annoyed Vegeta and sent him back onto the offensive and again, Ginyu didn't bother to defend himself from the beating of a life-time as he wanted his body to be injured even further so that when he switches bodies with Vegeta, he can at least finish the traitor off before dealing with the Z-Fighters so Frieza won't have to worry about these pests anymore. Then upon being tossed from the sky onto a nearby small mounted and falling onto the ground afterwards, the Captain began to grin once more as he is impressed with how much stronger Vegeta has become since he previously left the rest of the Ginyu Force to deal with him, Krillin, Gohan and Videl before being beaten up even further. Meanwhile, Vanera gave Gohan and Videl a slight nod as she needed to be prepared for what she must do. "Gohan… Videl, I need the two of you to look after Goku…." she informed them as she got ready to intervene.
"Huh?" wondered Videl, somewhat confused by what her mother said as the female Saiyan got ready to use her Kaioken technique again in hopes it will be more than enough to stop this since it's clear that there is more to this poor performance from Ginyu than meets the eye since Vegeta's too arrogant in his victory that he won't find out until it's too late. "Mommy, what are you going to do?"
"The thing I hoped that I'd never have to but it needs to be done" said Vanera, getting ready to put an end to the fight once and for all especially as they can't risk the chance of Frieza finding out what's happening while he's gone let alone the fact that they might need Vegeta's help in stopping that damned tyrant before he harms anymore innocent people.
After a continued pummel from Vegeta, he began grinning and had an idea to further anger the prince so that he will lower his guard. "Come on Vegeta, is this all you've got?" he asked with a mocking expression only to be grabbed by the two horns on his head.
"I'm just getting warmed-up!" yelled Vegeta, tossing him back into the air and the moment the Saiyan Prince charged at his opponent…. the Captain of the Ginyu Force got ready to make his move in switching bodies with the traitor without any further interruptions, however it seemed that Vanera has had enough as she jetted off at the two with her Kaioken proving to be beneficial to what she had to do, hoping that her daughter as well as Krillin, Goku and Gohan will forgive her for what is about to transpire.
"I'm all yours Vegeta!" said Ginyu, not realizing that it would actually be the last thing he will ever say as he prepared himself to switch bodies once more when all of a sudden, he felt something pierce through his chest and his eyes widened in complete shock as he was now in even more pain than ever before noticing what was the cause of this, everyone couldn't believe what was happening as a hand had impaled Ginyu right in the chest and the leader of the Ginyu Force coughed up a large amount of blood.
Vanera had delivered the fatal blow to the Ginyu Force's leader and with a smirk on her face, got ready to put an end to the Ginyu Force for good. "Sorry to disappoint you but you're going on a one way trip to hell!" she said before pulling her fist out of Ginyu's chest, revealing that she had indeed been the one who intervened and watched as the last remaining member of the Ginyu Force plummeted to the ground while the female Saiyan sighed as she still had Ginyu's blood on her hand. "It's finally over…"
"Not quite!" commented Vegeta, while he was glad that someone actually decided to shut Ginyu up… he wished it had been him who did so, then without another word the Saiyan Prince dropped his knee onto the dying Ginyu's neck, breaking it and making certain that the last member of the Ginyu Force was indeed dead much to the shock from Goku, Krillin, Gohan and Videl. "There, that should do it!"
There was nothing but silence coming from the others, especially as Goku had intend to throw a Namekian Frog in the path of the Body Change technique but because Vanera had just intervened there was no longer any need to do so as the Namekian Frog in question hopped away without a care in the world though Gohan, Videl, Krillin, Vanera and Vegeta soon gathered together near the injured Goku as the damage caused by the Saiyan Prince has left its mark with Gohan and Videl having picked the pure-hearted male Saiyan Warrior up, carrying him in their arms which is a relief that Gohan's father was back in his own body. "Dad, are you okay?" asked Gohan, still concerned for his father as he never expected Vegeta to do what he did since he and Videl were trying to make Ginyu try and switch bodies with one of them so Goku could take his body back sure it worked just not the way they intended it to.
"Yeah, I think so…" answered Goku, wishing he could stand on his own but mentally cursed himself for having used up all the Senzu beans otherwise he would have been fit as a fiddle for the upcoming battle against Frieza. "Though the same can't be said for my body… I can hardly move a finger…"
It wasn't for long till Vegeta came to the group, making them wonder what the Saiyan Prince had in store for them since their former enemy still has his vendetta for what happened back on the Earth though it seems he's in a giving mood at the moment. "You know destroying you weaklings would be like shooting fish in a barrel…" he said with a small evil laugh, which made Vanera give Vegeta a darkened glare as she was about to step in.
"You wouldn't dare, besides even if you do kill us then you'll still lose as you won't be able to use the Dragonballs and you'd also be no match for Frieza if you're to fight him right now since we still don't know the extent to his power." informed Vanera, especially as her comment made a good point, since it made the Saiyan Prince grin again before the female warrior turned her attention towards Goku's best friend. "Krillin, I need you to go and get Bulma back to the ship that Goku and I used to arrive to Namek besides… if she's still here then she'll need to be somewhere safe."
"Okay…" responded Krillin, knowing that Bulma might kill him if anything else was to go wrong and then also realized another problem they may have at their hands. "Then once Bulma is safe and sound on Goku's spaceship, I'll be heading to pay Guru a visit…"
"Wait what?" asked Videl, even Vegeta, Goku, Gohan and Vanera were somewhat surprised by the fact that the bald-headed human was volunteering to actually make his way to see Grand Elder Guru himself despite the fact that they could need his assistance in case Frieza showed up. "Are you sure about this Krillin?"
"Right now, Goku is right as these Dragonballs require some kind of password in order to use them and besides, I may run into Frieza but that's a risk I'm going to take." answered Krillin, his own expression remaining serious as he spoke his comment since they still have their friends to wish back after all, this includes Piccolo. "Plus without the correct Dragonballs, there's no way we can summon the Dragon regardless."
"Good point on that." responded Vanera, even though she didn't like the idea of Krillin going out there to risk his life paying Guru a visit, there wasn't much of a choice in the matter. "In that case, I'll go with you just to be on the safe side…"
Shaking his head, Krillin knew this was actually a request that he needed to do on his own. "I appreciate the offer Vanera but no, you stay here with Gohan and Videl to look after Goku, after all what's to say that Vegeta won't suddenly kill them if I actually let you come with me? In fact, if we're lucky then Guru might have something to heal Goku back up in no time." he made a very valid point on the mater, yet Vegeta felt as if the remark Krillin made was a compliment that he enjoyed rather than the sarcastic one used by Ginyu before his death. "I'll be back!"
With that said, he took to the skies and headed off in the direction of the hiding place that Bulma was still at in hopes of she would be easy to find, plus as Vanera said best her safety is needed so bringing the blunette back to Goku's spaceship is a must before he even thinks about paying Guru a visit to find out the password. "Good luck Krillin." said Gohan, watching their human friend leaving the area and hoped that he will get Bulma to the safety of Goku's Capsule Corp ship.
Vanera soon looked over to Goku who was still on the ground. "If I remember there is a healing chamber." She said with a thoughtful look on her face as she looked at Vegeta.
With a smirk Vegeta just nodded and moved over towards them and continued to smile at the four still present. "You're right, and as much as I hate it I need you to help me kill Frieza after all." he said with a smirk on his face as he began to make his way towards Frieza's ship.
"Humph, Kakarot needs to be treated immediately." he said, "Let's go inside the spaceship. There are some isolation chambers there we could use. We need to be fully recovered and prepare for Frieza."
Vegeta slowly floated inside Frieza's demolished spaceship while Gohan and Videl helped the almost knocked-out Goku to get up while Vanera followed making sure Vegeta didn't try anything. Once they entered the hallways of the ship, the Z-fighters spotted several fallen soldiers of Frieza's underlings; all were defeated by Vegeta. Vegeta then led them to the 'Recovery Room' where the isolation chambers were stored in; though, unfortunately, there was only one left remaining. "Here, we could put Kakarot here to treat his wounds and he'll be fully recovered in no time." he said to the four.
As Vegeta entered inside and purposely threw some of the medicine materials that were in his way from tables. Then something came rolling down to Goku's feet, something sharp and pointy which caught his attention. And once Goku took one glance at it…
"…AAH! A NEEDLE!" Goku had instantly forgotten all about the pain in his body like an annoying itch already had lost its effect. He panicked and ran the entire room, screaming with a childish voice. Vanera, Gohan, and Videl had to team up to stop Goku from running around the recovery room as he tried to escape from over a little thing. "No please I hate needles get me out of here!" he repeated himself over and over, his feet struggling to get outside.
"Goku, stop worrying it's just a stupid needle!" Vanera said who was pulling him to the chamber that would heal him up.
"I'd rather be sick then having a needle!" Goku said with constant screaming.
Vegeta was getting sick of his loud racket and yelled at him. "Be quiet! I'm not even going to give you a needle, idiot!"
Goku then instantly stopped being frantic as if the nightmare he had was no more than an illusion. He was very relieved to hear it. "Oh, that's good then!"
But Goku's son was very embarrassed with Vanera groaning irritatingly at her fellow Saiyan while Videl just looked away. "How embarrassing this is!" Gohan thought to himself.
Several minutes later, Goku was helped getting inside the isolation chamber. A retractable mask was placed on his lips and nose for oxygen to travel through while he immersed himself with cool and warm water. "So what does this machine do?" Videl asked.
"Just like I said, it's called an isolation chamber. It'll get Kakarot's strength back in no time. This liquid will penetrate and cover every pore, making the wounds completely heal." Vegeta responded.
While Gohan and Videl simple smiled. "Wow this is so cool don't you think Videl?" He asked looking at her.
"You're right Gohan I mean this is better than anything with have back home on Earth!" She said with excitement.
"Humph, that's right fools. But get a good look at it now because once I'm through Frieza they'll be no need to help any of you." Vegeta said to himself mentally, his eyes giving a silent and cruel look to them with his mind filled with secret intentions. "This is an older model of this machine."
"Do you have newer ones?" Gohan asked with a light frown knowing a newer one would be for the best.
"Well I destroyed it." He said with a smirk on his face.
"Uh…he's not going to drown, will he?" Videl asked with a bit of worry. It seemed like the water had completely covered his entire body.
"I was thinking the same, but this is great." Goku said to himself. He felt relaxed and warm from the healing of the liquid and could feel his wounds slowly closing without any feel of pain. He was impressed by this kind of technology.
The arduous, brutal match between Nail and Frieza continued to rumble. Despite how many times Frieza pummelled him Nail still had his high spirits to keep him standing. He breathed heavily through his mouth to decline some of his fatigue. "Are you going to blurt out that password or not?" Frieza questioned.
"I'll-I'll never tell you!" Nail refused still regardless how badly he was beaten up.
Frieza never met a stubborn Namekian like him before and so used his tail to whip the helpless Nail and crush him to the ground by force, "My patience is growing thin. Tell me the password!"
And yet Nail still refused to give up or utter a word about the password, "I will never!"
Guru could feel the pain Nail had to go through and felt deeply hurt, but he had trust in him. He was such a courageous son of his, he will never doubt his strength and protection, "I'm so sorry, but please hold on, Nail. I could sense Dende is very close. You must hang on by the thread."
And Dende could also feel he was very close to the waiting Z-warriors, "I'm very near. I'm coming!"
Vegeta adjusted the level of the curative liquid to the next highest number to make the process of Goku's healing a little bit faster, but also tried not to strain him from his wounds yet Vanera was still keeping an eye on Vegeta just in case. "The operators are working. Now we need to get you some armour."
"Huh?" wondered Videl out of slight surprise and even Gohan had no idea on what Vegeta was talking about at first though Vanera had a feeling she knew, especially as she's wearing a similar armour like what Frieza's henchmen and Vegeta, Nappa and Raditz wore since it's clear that the armour wasn't exactly exclusive just to Saiyans. "What exactly do you mean by armour?"
"Yeah, that was my next question." added Gohan, just as confused as the raven-haired Half-Saiyan girl with him was which Vegeta just scoffed at their not having any sort of clue on what he meant by getting them some armour but never the less decided against pressing on with the matter.
"Come with me, the locker room should be nearby." he said before leading the three pure-hearted Saiyans to the same place where he got his battle armour since they had some extra ones in case Frieza or his henchmen needed replacement ones though to be honest, it was a pity that Frieza won't be making any further use of this.
"Don't forget Vegeta, this doesn't' change anything whatsoever." reminded Vanera, giving the Saiyan Prince a darkened glare as she remembers what he and Nappa had done back on Earth as well as recalling the death of her beloved husband Mr. Satan at their hands in the ensuring conflict that occurred as well. "Once Frieza's defeated, you and I have unfinished business."
Vegeta simply shrugged that remark shot at him as he found that to be nothing more than an empty threat coming from the female Saiyan Warrior in question. "Is that so? You're actually suggesting that the two of us fight to the death after we deal with Frieza?" he asked her, a grin forming on his face the moment he said that. "If that's the case, then I'll be happy to give you that wish."
Remaining silent, Vanera was certain that he might have some kind of comment to make her angry as hell but right now they still have bigger problems to deal with. "Very well, however let's focus on getting prepared for our fight against Frieza…" she replied back to him, not bothering to hide the venom in her voice when it came to Vegeta.
"Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if Baldy actually succeeds with that task of his…" commented the Saiyan Prince, referring to Krillin by the nickname he gave to the bald-headed human ever since their encounter against one another at Earth but it couldn't be helped. "Besides, I'd been originally thinking about giving him some additional battle armour on this ship as well but oh well, his loss."
"I'm sure Krillin knows what he's doing, otherwise he wouldn't have decided to go see Guru when he is successful in bringing Bulma back to the spaceship that Goku and I used to get here" said Vanera, more so as while he did say that he might run into Frieza himself but that is a risk he's willing to take like a true warrior. "You'd be surprised how much he's improved since we last fought against you and Nappa back on Earth."
"Oh really? Then how come he nearly got killed by Reccoome by the time you and Kakarot arrived then?" reminded Vegeta, causing Gohan, Videl and Vanera to give him another glare that he paid no attention to especially as he doesn't really care about the past due to the fact things are going to be different when this is all over. "Didn't those two or Baldy tell you? I've learned to adapt to sensing someone's power level so I no longer need the scouter and you of all people should also be aware that a Saiyan's power increase whenever they heal from near fatal injuries thanks to the Zenkai boost, something only Saiyans have."
Neither of the pure-hearted Saiyans said a word to Vegeta, then again it could also explain how much stronger he has gotten by this point though both Goku and Vanera trained hard not just get this Zenkai boost following the battle against Vegeta and Nappa. "You're telling us this now, why?" asked Gohan.
"Think of it as me being in a giving me at the moment." responded Vegeta, knowing even Half-Saiyans like Gohan and Videl can experience a Zenkai Boost given the right kind of near-fatal injury that they needed to be healed from as Videl herself demonstrated following her nearly being killed by that bastard Recoome. "It should help Kakarot get strong when his wounds heal, too bad by that time I'll have already defeated Frieza."
"Are you that confident that you'll be able to defeat Frieza by yourself?" began Vanera, her arms being crossed as the Saiyan Prince should be well aware that they need to at least find out how powerful the Tyrant truly is before they even think about being strong enough to face him. "Besides, you need to understand that we are all involved in this not just you."
"Maybe, but you'll just be in the way when the time to face him arrives." countered Vegeta, not caring about what Vanera had to say let alone the matter that she was bringing up as Frieza is the only one left to take out due to his remaining henchmen being dead, including Ginyu himself thanks to Vanera's well-timed intervention. By the time he does arrive, I'll be a Super Saiyan… his worst nightmare…
"Even so, we might need to train hard in order to at least become strong enough to even stand a chance against him plus it will take more than just a few Zenkai boosts to deal with that guy" commented Vanera, believing that she, Gohan and Videl will need to train together and hoped that Vegeta would do the same but his arrogance will eventually be his own downfall. "We were training for when you and Nappa were on your way to Earth so it would be fair if we trained before Frieza shows up."
"You can train all you want but count me out…" said Vegeta as he believed that he didn't need training and that he was already strong enough as it is then had something in his mind that the female warrior actually brought up. "Now that I think of it, you and those brats trained for an entire year for when Nappa and I arrive yet look how that turned out."
"That was different and you know it!" snapped Vanera, biting her lower lip and again Vegeta paid no heed towards what he believed to be an empty threat coming from someone who might just get in his way in the impending confrontation with Frieza.
Though as the conversation was in place, they were on their way towards the locker room and by the time Vanera made her comment to Vegeta the four Saiyans already arrived at their intended destination with the Saiyan Prince opening one of the lockers which revealed two newer model battle armours that were located inside. "Well in any case, have the brats put these on over their regular clothes!" he recommend, giving the two Half-Saiyans the clothing that came with the battle armours that he was offering them.
The three remained silent for a moment as he simply tossed these outfits onto the ground near them though he wasn't in the mood to argue as they all have to be ready for when Frieza comes back to his spaceship. "Hurry, there isn't much time…" he continued, as much as Vanera hated Vegeta for his heinous actions from before she gave a small sigh before she turned to her daughter.
"I think I'll take Videl someplace to get changed" she replied, then led the younger female Satan to another part of the hall so the girl could change outfits without being peeped on even if Gohan and Videl were still kids right now, she didn't want Goku's son to get the wrong idea of being mistaken as perverted at this young age. "If anything happens to Gohan, I swear to you…"
Vegeta didn't even bother with a reply as he then got the actual battle armours ready for the two Half-Saiyans to change into then again Gohan didn't argue as his current outfit was already damaged by the battles against the Ginyu Force so it would be rather interesting to wear a better outfit suited for the upcoming fight even if it was one from someone who they still hated. "Are you sure about this mom?" asked Videl, rather curious on the matter at hand since neither of them let alone Gohan and Krillin trusted Vegeta at all.
"I'm positive sweetie, unfortunately we don't have much of a choice in the matter" answered Vanera, even she hated the fact herself as Vegeta's still their enemy even if they're in a temporary alliance with him against a common threat to the entire universe. "After all, with Goku incapacitated and recovering in the rejuvenation chamber… we may need Vegeta's help."
"I see…" frowned Videl, cringing a bit at the fact that they're gonna be working alongside Vegeta for a while longer but if they were to survive against Frieza then they'll need the evil Saiyan Prince to help them hold the tyrant off long enough for Goku to heal from his injuries, which wouldn't have been the case if Vegeta hadn't stepped in to try and kill Ginyu back when he and Goku were still in each other's bodies. "I hope that we don't end up regretting this decision."
"Me neither, but don't worry… Krillin is already well on his way to get Bulma back to the ship we used to come to this planet so at least she'll be safe from what's about to happen." said Vanera as she tried to reassure her daughter that everything is going to be alright in the end. "Also when this is all over, we'll be able to return to Earth with all our friends."
"Yeah, I hope you're right…" Videl replied back, with a frown as she began changing out of her clothing and hoped that the ones that Vegeta had offered her will be a perfect fit as she'd never worn actual battle armour before, sure she knows her mom is wearing one right now much like she did when she aided the other Z-Fighters against Vegeta and Nappa back on Earth.
Nearby, Vegeta was preparing the two armours that Gohan and Videl will be wearing especially as he knows it will fit them no problem due to them being pint-sized Saiyans but never the less. "This is the armour I was talking about if you're interested in hear, it's the newer model worn by Frieza and his henchmen." he explained, wanting to be certain that Gohan, Videl and Vanera were at least listening in on his explanation so he wouldn't need to repeat himself. "The armour that I'm wearing on the other hand is an older model and unfortunately it's the only one they had in my size."
"It's also expandable which can fit to almost any size. I had worn them when I battled you on Earth, remember?" he added with a frown as that was a battle he didn't want to remember
Videl and Gohan did remember something about Vegeta when he turned into Great Ape. Their flexible armours can stretch up to almost any size and it was amazing to them how their armour gave them great help.
"This is great! I feel like I'm a real Saiyan warrior! This could be a great advantage when we come to battle Frieza!" Gohan excitedly said. His armour was the same model Vegeta wore when he and the others fought him on Earth.
"Well while you get change Gohan I'll go get Videl and myself changed into ours." Vanera said as she gave a sweet smile but looked up to Vegeta making sure he was not going to do anything.
With that said Vanera took Videl into the next room so she could get changed into her own armour. "So what kind of armour will I bet getting mum?" Videl asked as she gave a smile to her mother.
Smiling at her daughter Vanera got the female Saiyan armour but different from the older models. That the females used to wear on Planet Vegeta looking at the armour Videl didn't didn't know what to think of it as the bottom half of the Saiyan uniform looked. As to her it was reviling her legs, and she wondered if her mum wore this when she came to Earth.
But for now Videl simple pushed that thought out from her mind as she took her clothes off so she could put her Saiyan armour on. And she had to admit she did look a little badass in it as she looked herself in the mirror and couldn't help but give a smile.
From where she was standing Vanera just couldn't help but smile as she looked at her young fighter, and while she never wanted this life for Videl she was happy that Videl was able to meet Gohan.
Vegeta watched as they wore their Saiyan garbs and chain mails, but then suddenly Vegeta started to groan in deep pain. His head abruptly ached and his body becoming weak without rhyme or reason, but there should be. It felt like his nerves have been paralyzed like someone casted him a spell of pain, "Ngh…Augh…"
"Vegeta, are you alright?" Gohan asked.
Vegeta stood up straight and shook his head to shake off that painful feeling, "I'm fine. It's none of your business."
"So how long will it take before Mr Goku gets healed?" Videl asked as she stepped out from the room while Gohan just looked at the Saiyan armour she had on, and he too had to admit she looked cool in it.
"Judging by his height and age, it would take about an hour at the most." Vegeta answered.
"Well Gohan how about we do some training I mean it would be for the best after all." Videl said giving a smile to her friend.
And Vanera knew that this was a good idea after all it could give them what they needed if they had to fight Frieza something she hopped that they could get away from, but it was still best to be safe. "Good idea sweetie."
With a smile on his own face Gohan nodded as he looked at Videl. "Alright then Videl I also want to see how strong you've gotten as well."
Vegeta briefly visited Goku and watched him as he relaxed with his wounds being slowly healed. And as he observed him, he felt that same pain again trying to penetrate his forehead. "What's this? Why am I feeling this? Darn, I need to focus…I need to relax…" and the Saiyan Prince tried to unwind and forget about this unknown pain he was feeling.
"Get well Kakarot, you'll need your strength to stand up against Frieza… even though to be honest, you might not get your chance cause I'll have already dealt with him by the time you heal." he continued, giving Goku a confident grin on his face as the healing warrior is needed just in case something was to actually go wrong in the battle not that he believes something will happen. "And later to defend against me…"
He soon made his way towards the table near the isolation chamber and found a timer yet he again started to experience the same pain throughout his entire body the moment he grabbed the timer in question, causing him to kneel down in the process. "I think I overdid it a little…" he muttered to himself then managed to get back up as he staged back towards the chamber and leaned next to it as he decided to sit down in order to try and get over the pain. "I figure it should only take about half an hour to get my strength back…"
With that said, he decided to set the timer to half an hour exactly just to be certain especially as he feels the three Saiyans he was still with would be more than trustworthy enough to keep an eye on the Dragonballs until Krillin comes back with the password so the Saiyan Prince can use the chance in becoming Immortal. After all, a Super Saiyan does need his rest… he thought to himself before dozing off into a small nap, dropping the timer as he was now fast asleep with another grin forming on his face. I can hardly wait… until that Dragon grants my wish…
Outside of Frieza's ship, Gohan and Videl were guarding the Dragonballs as they sat on one of them, waiting for Krillin's arrival. "Krillin, I sure hope you're doing alright. It's really dangerous, but we need the password to activate the Dragonballs so we can wish for the others back to life. Please be okay…"
"He'll be fine, my mom mentioned that we can use the Dragonballs when the time is right and without Vegeta knowing either." responded Videl with a light smile on her face, especially as if Vegeta does find out about this… her mother will keep him from hurting them due to being the only other Saiyan strong enough who can hold her own against the Saiyan Prince in actual combat. "Now that I think of it, I wonder how she and your father got so strong this fast on their way to Namek?"
"Beats me, though we'll find out when this is all over." commented Gohan with a hint of surprise, then again aside from the Zenkai boost, both Goku and Vanera did train during the entire trip to Namek using the space ship built by Bulma's father so there might be a secret behind that but knew it's for the best not to ask about it right now. "Then again, I just hope this idea of your mother's actually works."
"Yeah, me too…"
Then again, he decided to examine himself in the battle armour that he was now wearing and looked at the reflection in the nearby lake so he can do so. "I sure hope this new armour works…" he spoke, especially since he had his tail wrapped around the same way Vegeta did back when they first fought him and Nappa in the initial conflict. "I'll bet you almost anything mom and Piccolo will be surprised to see me wearing a Saiyan uniform."
As he glanced at his reflection for a bit, he seemed to admire the new outfit though at the same time it was also Videl's first time wearing something like this and she actually looked kind of cute in it then again Vanera wore this armour herself or a similar once since she too is a Saiyan so it would make sense for the female Half-Saiyan to be in one too. "I wonder how Mr. Satan will react to seeing Videl with a similar armour that her mother and I are wearing." he spoke to himself again, knowing that Mr. Satan was another person who needed to be brought back to life with the Dragonballs
"Alright Gohan I'm ready." Videl said as she got into her fighting stance and looked at Gohan with a smile. "Just try not to hold back just because I'm a girl." She added with a cute little tease in her voice which caused Gohan to blush a little.
"Don't worry, I won't!" responded Gohan, managing to shake off the small blush he had on his face then the two began to train with one another especially as Vanera watched with a light smile since it's clear that the two are going from being small children to becoming real warriors then realized that she needed to train as well just to be certain as none of them, not even Vegeta knew how strong the tyrant was so if they are to survive then they're going to have to train as hard as they can.
The good news was, with Vegeta taking a nap… the three Saiyans could use this as a chance to bring back their friends and loved ones with the Dragonballs as well as prevent him or Frieza from becoming Immortal which she's sure that the Prince will attempt to do. "Vegeta just doesn't get it does he?" she spoke to herself with a frown on her face, especially as there might be a chance that Frieza was still stronger than they are right now so training was the only way to help them get prepared in case it was true. "I hope Krillin gets back soon Kami knows what could happen…"
Meanwhile, Krillin was making his way to where Bulma was and using his ability to sense Ki in order to better locate her location which his search wouldn't take too long knowing that the blunette doesn't' exactly know how to hide her power to avoid being detected by the scouters. "I gotta hurry… not much time" he muttered to himself, mentally cursing that if Bulma went somewhere else then that could make his task a bit more difficult. "Where are you Bulma?"
On the other hand, he didn't like the idea of Goku, Gohan, Videl and Vanera being around Vegeta especially with his best friend in his current state. "I hope the others will be alright with Vegeta back there…" he spoke again, and then remembered there was also another problem that needed to be addressed as well. "And then there's Frieza… If he ever discovers that I was out here by myself then I'm gonna be a gonner for sure…"
Fortunately it wouldn't take long to retrace his way to the hiding spot since he, Gohan and Videl previously went there to pick up the Dragon Radar from their human friend so he figured that she'd want it back since they save all the Dragonballs and only needed the password in order to summon the Namekian Dragon. "I can't waste a second, not only to get Bulma back to Goku's spaceship but then to get to Guru afterwards!" he was also well aware that Guru doesn't have much time left before he dies and if he does so before they can summon the Dragon then they're officially screwed and he still didn't exactly like the idea of being allied with Vegeta but they are all fighting against Frieza.
Then again, he may not be as quick as Goku but he needed to concentrate on finding Bulma before something else goes wrong. "Bulma, are you there?" he called out, knowing that the only way for the blunette to hear him is if he called out her name and he also needed to be careful by hiding his power level so that Frieza's scouter wouldn't be able to detect him. "Great, guess she didn't wait for me and the others…. that's typical Bulma for you…"
"What was that?" he heard the blunette's voice, more so as from what he can tell is that the woman was somewhat annoyed that he, Gohan and Videl ditched her yet again and with the Dragon Radar no less though at the exact same time hoped that the bald-headed male had a perfectly good explanation for doing what he and the others did.
With a small sigh, he was actually quite relieved that he finally found the woman as it's clear she's not too pleased to see him. "Good to see you too Bulma…" he said, hoping that he wouldn't have to hear her ranting because here is not the good place to do so with Frieza still being a threat and possibly Vegeta if they are successful in stopping the evil tyrant with or without Goku.
"Just where the hell you?! Also where are Gohan and Videl?" yelled Bulma, immediately noticing that Gohan and Videl were not with Krillin at all which she believed something might have actually happened to them following their joining him in searching for the Dragonballs which were currently still located at Frieza's spaceship with the two Half-Saiyans as well as Vegeta, Goku and Vanera. "I swear, Chi-Chi is never going to let me hear the end of it if something happened to those two and…"
"They're both fine! Goku and Vanera are with them right now…" explained Krillin, stopping Bulma from finishing her sentence and caused her expression to change from anger to relief yet at the same time, the bald-headed human knew that they needed to take their talk elsewhere should Frieza decide to come after them. "Besides, I better bring you back to the spaceship that Goku and Vanera used to get here… odds are things are going to go to hell when we take on Frieza."
"Wait… did you just say that you guys are actually going to fight Frieza?" she asked, feeling as if her life was about to flash before her very eyes but Krillin's expression remained serious as he grabbed hold of Bulma's waist then jetted off with her in his care as he made his way towards the location where the Capsule Corp Space Ship. "Hey!"
"Sorry Bulma I'll tell you what I can as we go to the Space Ship that Goku and Vanera used to get to here." Krillin said as he knows that it was important that she was safe before going to Guru's.
Bulma nodded as both went to the area in which the ship had landed as Krillin began to tell Bulma what had happened and what Vanera had said for them to do. And Bulma knew it was a smart idea as at least this was she would be safe and they knew where she was.
"So once we get there we need you to stay in the ship and try to contact Earth as well we need to make sure no one else comes here, I mean if Vanera and Vegeta are right about Frieza then this is a place none of them should be right?" Krillin told Bulma as he was a little worried as well about this upcoming fight and with Goku in the condition that he was right now he was even more worried in how they were going to fight Frieza.
Bulma nodded at this she had already seen what some could do and decided it would be best to stay in the ship. "Alright I'll tell the others on Earth what is going on, you guys just hurry up with the wishes and then come to the ship so we can get out of here."
As the two continued to fly towards the ship that had been used for Goku and Vanera to get here, both Gohan and Videl were training for the fight against Frieza with Vanera watching the two, and she couldn't help but smile at the two young Saiyans.
As she watched the two throwing punches at each other with either Gohan or Videl managing to doge the attack or land a hit on the other. And she had a feeling that this might just be the warm up for the two young fighters however as much as she wanted to stay and watch them fight she knew she needed to do training of her own.
Fortunately, they wouldn't have to worry about anymore of Frieza's henchmen due to the fact that Vegeta killed them unfortunately, from the way the damage was done to the tyrant's spaceship… it appears that it wouldn't be able to go anywhere anytime soon not that they'd need to use it to leave Namek after Frieza himself is defeated, but she also had a feeling that Krillin needs to hurry back soon if they were to use the Namekian Dragonballs. "Hope Krillin is able to handle himself out there…" she said to herself with a small frown on her face especially as she was concerned for Krillin's well-being due to him volunteering not only to get Bulma back to the Capsule Corp Space Ship but also to head for Grand Elder Guru to find out the password.
The other downside is that it's only a matter of time before Frieza finds out something is wrong and heads back to his spaceship to find out what's happening and if Goku isn't healed up before then they'll all be done for. "Not bad, Videl…" she heard Gohan speaking to her daughter as it's clear that the two of them are starting to bond rather well during their time training together which was a sign they'll be at their strongest when working together as a team. "Perhaps sometime, I might teach you a few moves that could help you out."
"Oh?" wondered a surprised Videl, especially as she never would have thought that Gohan was offering to teach her some new techniques but felt grateful at the gesture as a light smile began forming on her face. "You really mean that?"
"Of course." answered Gohan, with a smile on his own face as he felt that he needed to repay her from saving him from being killed by Recoome even though they'll have to deal with Frieza first before he can make good on the promise he just made. "For now, let's concentrate on training and being prepared for Frieza okay?"
With a nod of her head, she got back into her fighting stance as did the raven-haired young man she's training with as they were more than willing to push themselves to the max in order to make the most out of training together. "Sure thing, plus you'll be surprised by the fact that I'm the champion of the World Tournament's junior division…" she spoke, much to his slight surprise before they went back to their training session as both wanted to make Piccolo proud of them.
Still watching the moment taking place, Vanera had a feeling that was perhaps a good thing that Piccolo trained the two Half-Saiyans back on Earth a year ago since it could benefit in the young children becoming true Saiyan Warriors and perhaps one day becoming as strong as she and Goku currently are by the time any future threat appears to attack them. "It seems that having spent time with the Namekian Warrior who trained them has started causing them to mature and maybe we might have a chance if luck is on our side." she said to herself, a smile forming on her face the moment she did so.
For now at least she had some training of her own to do as she knew that Frieza would be coming back to his ship and to get his wish, and she just hopped that Goku was not only healed by then but they had made their wishes as well.
Well another chapter is done and I hope you liked how Ginyu was dealt with this chapter I know many may have hoped he would have ended up in the frog's body, and yes I had Krillin take Bulma back to the ship Goku and Vanera had used to get to Earth.
Next chapter will be the start of the Frieza saga with Porunga coming into play and the Z-fighters making their two wishes as well which I'm sure you already know what they will be as I can't change that, since we all love the action that Piccolo does when he fights Frieza.
