But here is to the last chapter I'm hoping to add a sequel to this story but haven't started anything just yet. EPILOGUE PART TWO
"Oh Katie you look so beautiful" Jim whispered when he entered Kate's room. Instantly making Kate tear up.
He pulled her in for a hug, "thanks dad". She smiled once she pulled back "you pulled up good as well".
"Thanks sweetie, so you ready for me to hand you off to Rick" Kate just rolled her eyes at her fathers comment causing him to chuckle. "She'd be so proud of you Katie, she looked forward to this day since you were a baby".
Kate smiled sadly "she might not be here figuratively dad. But I know she's watching us probably yelling at us to hurry" she laughed.
With a chuckle Jim added "yeah she would, she'd also be swooning and getting a kick about of the fact that your marrying favourite author" that caused Kate to let out a loud laugh. "I also wouldn't doubt her hounding you two for when your gonna have a baby" he slowly shook his head thinking of his Jo.
"Is that your subtle way of trying to find out when you'll be a granddad?" Kate asked smirking at her fathers subtle hints.
"Maaaaybeeeee" he gave her a sheepish smile. Kate just shook her head chuckling softly at her father. "So you ready to begin your new future Katie?"
She couldn't hide her smile if she tried, nodding as she clasped hands with her father. "Yes! Let's go!"

"Ooh chica you look stunning!" Espo admired Lanie, as the girls headed towards them, Lanie and Alexis where wearing floor length simple pale pink dress and Mandy in a pale pink flower girl dress.
"Oh Javi" she smiled hugging both men.
"You both look gorgeous, and Mandy makes a pretty sweet flower girl" Ryan was returned with a big toothy smile.
"You guys look good too" Alexis added "Jenny choose the tie Ryan" she quipped knowing all the stories from her father and the funny ties Jenny finds for Ryan.
"Alright guys as much as I would love to stay and chat my girl is getting married so let's move!" Lanie instructed.

The first thing Castle saw walking down the aisle was Mandy throwing flower petals along the path smiling brightly and squeezing with excitement causing the guests to chuckle, Tiffany followed behind Mandy just in case she tripped. Once she made it to the end Tiffany grabbed her from behind and joined Martha in the spare seat.
Next was Lanie and Espo and than followed by his Alexis and Ryan. God Alexis looked beautiful, as she made her way next to Lanie she gave her dad a wink before looking towards the entrance Kate would be at any minute from now.
And just on cue the soft music of the violins began to flow all guests standing to face the bride. Castle couldn't contain his excitement. And there she was absolutely, simply stunning in a white love heart framed gown the back expertly detailed. He nearly forgot to breathe his eyes were locked to her veil covered hazel green eyes, that beautiful smile on god he was the luckiest man.
Oh he looked sexy in that suit, she couldn't stop smiling she was only a few steps away from her soon-to-be-husband. Before she knew it, her father was patting Castle on the back and giving Kate one final hug as his single daughter. "Kate" he whispered placing his hand on the small of her back "you look... Breathtaking" he whispered to her.
"You look ruggedly handsome Rick, now let's get married!" She said as they finished their short walk to the minister and faced one another.
As their minister spoke to them and their guests, all Kate could do was stare into her finances vibrant blue eyes losing herself for umpteenth time and the feel of his thumb moving in soft circles against her palms. She couldn't stop smiling and it seemed he couldn't either.
Kate was suddenly pulled out of her thoughts when it was time to say their vows and suddenly she became nervous, but she took a deep breath and just focused on her man, until she heard the next sentence "Richard and Katherine would like to share their own written vows now, Richard if you would like to go first?"
She watched Castles Adam's apple move as she swallowed taking in a deep breath, she than looked up into his eyes instantly locking and absorbing the love that shone through them.
"Kate you are the strongest person I know, to know what you have survived through and to see the incredible person you are continuously takes my breath away and I will forever thank my lucky stars for being one of very few you have opened up too" Kate gave him a teary smile before he continued he gave her hand a loving squeeze.
"I don't think anyone will ever understand just how lucky I am to have you in my life not just as a friend, no you Kate are my best friend, my soulmate, one-and-done. I... Our love is like no other, our love is unconditional, it's fierce, it's forever and it almost feels as if it's magical to be able to contain so much love for one person. And I promise that everyday for the rest of our lives to remind you just how much I love you even by doing the most simplest things like bringing you coffee just to see a smile on your face, tucking that stubborn piece of hair behind your ear so I can look into those beautiful enchanting eyes. Most of all I can't wait to see what this next chapter brings for us little tiny feet pitted pattering on the floor, early morning crime scenes, late night interrogations, anniversaries all I know is as long as I have you by my side we can conquer anything. I love you Katherine Houghton Beckett, always."
Kate could barely see her eyes had watered up so much this sweet, sweet man and his words that she would forever be enchanted by. She would never understand how she got so lucky, when she blinked she felt two big drops of liquid on her cheek bones. She smiled sweetly when her soon-to-be-husband wiped away her tears with the pad of his thumb, softly cupping the side of her face. She couldn't help but to lean into the warmth of his skin.
"Katherine would you like to speak your vows now?" The minister asked.
She simply nodded as she took in a deep breath, Castle whispered just loud enough for her to hear "you've got this babe" she took another breath more confident this time giving his hand a loving squeeze before she began looking into his eyes only.
"Rick, when we first met I never would have thought I would have gotten along with you let alone be standing here today in front of our close friends and family declaring my love for you. But babe I'm so happy so incredibly grateful that you stuck around didn't take no for an answer and just kept showing up, showing me what true extraordinary love is. Rick you have showed me how to believe that there is good out in the world and I love you so much for that, for coming into my life pulling me out of the darkness and bringing light into my life for giving me a chance" Kate swallowing past the lump in her throat before taking a deep breath. "To feel apart of a family again... You are such an amazing, beautiful man and I would love to blame my lack of words on the fact that you are the writer in our relationship."
Castle let out a chuckle at her choice of words giving her one of his cocky smiles she couldn't help but roll her eyes before continuing " but the truth is I have never felt this kind of love and I don't think any amount of words could ever explain it. I've fallen so deeply in love with you Rick that I don't think I could ever not love you. You are my one and done, the father of our future children including Alexis, my best friend, partner, Rick you are my everything. And I vow to prove to you everyday for the rest of our lives just how much I love you."
"I love you" Castle whispered in awe of her words Kate replied with her own love you too, smiling brightly at him.
"May we have the rings now please?" The minister asked, both Kate and Castle turned to Lanie and Esposito who passed them their wedding bands, they had gotten 'RC & KC always' engraved on the inside of the wedding band Kate still felt a rush of love in her belly knowing that both their wedding bands had the same engraving.
"Do you Richard Castle with understanding do you take Katherine Beckett to be your wedded wife?"
Castle didn't even have to think as he gently slid the smooth band down
Kate's finger to join her engagement band "I do" smiling even bigger now.
"Do you Katherine Beckett with understanding do you take Richard Castle to be your wedded husband?"
She slid the band of their love along his finger gently over his knuckles "I do" she answered lost in his blue eyes. The minister than said a quick speech about the value of the wedding band and the symbolism of the ring never ending thus their relationship always strong.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may seal your vows with a kiss"
Castle stepped closer to Kate softly moving her veil over her face his heart quickening by her beauty, "hey Mr. Castle" she whispered biting down on her bottom lip moving closer.
"Hey Mrs. Castle" he whispered back.
"Kiss me" she quietly demanded her hand moving up and around his shoulder clasping her hands behind his neck shutting him up with her lips instantly being pulled closer by his hands on her hips. They soon pulled apart after Espo shouted 'get a room' with their family and friends cheering and a loud 'whoop' from Lanie "never gonna get old kissing you Mrs. Castle".
She smiled brightly at him "never gonna get tired of hearing you call me that Mr. Castle"
"Ladies and gentlemen I would like to present to you Mr and Mrs Richard Castle".

The guests had all moved to the back of the Hampton's house where a window-glass tent like cover had been setup the entire area under the covers, was setup beautifully there where fairy lights draped across the roof of the tent. The weather was perfect the sun had set so the guests had the view of thousands of stars, round tables were spread around the room seating up to 6 guests, a beautiful ensemble of white and peach lilies. And at the back behind the dance floor was the wedding party table from left sat Alexis, Lanie, Kate, Castle, Esposito and Ryan.
The guests had been enjoying their dinner when Lanie and Alexis stood tapping on their glasses Lanie's wine and Alexis's sparkling apple juice. "Okay time for toasts, I don't know about you guys but we've waited for this day to be here for a long time".
"It's true guys it's about time dad and Kate got their stuff in order."
"Right lil Castle? Anyway we wanted to say a quick congrats to you two cuties and that we couldn't be happier thanks to you writer boy."
"MAN!, writer man Lanie!" Castle called out causing the guests to chuckle and Kate slapping him on the chest failing to be mad considering the big smile on her face. He leaned in to quickly kiss away her smirk. Alexis looked grossed out by her fathers remark, but just shook her head.
"Okay, okay writer man, happy?" She looked across to the writer who nodded with a huge smile on his face. Kate's smile pretty much touching her eyes and Lanie doesn't think she could ever thank Castle enough for bringing such light into her best friends life. "As I was saying writer man! I personally would like to thank you, for permanently putting that smile on my girls face. Many of you who knew Kate before Castle came along know she is definitely not the same person. She's more vibrant, happy so thank you Castle and Kate honey you look absolutely breathtaking, love you guys!"
Kate and Castle both mouthed back a thank you and love you towards the medical examiner. Kate blinking back the tears as she leaned into Castles side his arm sliding around her waist quickly kissing her on the top of her head. Lanie just gave the a wink before she sat down leaving the audience to Alexis, who was about to give her speech.
"So you guys know how they say third times the charm?" Alexis waited a moment before continuing, "well some of you probably think that now and don't get me wrong Kate and dad, have definitely found their life partner within one another. But I don't see Kate as the so called 'third charm' honestly she has always been his one and done the only woman who has truly had a hold on my dad's heart, the only woman who has showed no interest in the materialist side of his life. You've always been there for myself, grams as well as my father so thank you and welcome to the family Kate and I can't wait to see what joy life brings for you two. Which better include a sibling or two for me!"
The last line shocked Castle who was now violently coughing, unfortunately he had taken a sip of his wine just when Alexis finished her speech. The guests couldn't help laughing at Castle and surprisingly Kate remained calm about the situation just a tinge of red on her cheeks her eyes were slightly watery. Once Castle had caught his breath and could finally breathe again. Ryan and Espo stood up prepared to give their speech.
"So mum and dad finally got married?" Ryan turned with a bright smile towards Espo who smiled back Kate just rolled her eyes at the nickname.
"I think on behalf of everyone we would like to say it's about damn time!" Espo added.
"That's right! Plus it doesn't hurt that I won a few hundred from the precinct pool" Ryan chuckled Espo rolled his eyes, as the guests chuckled as well Kate and Castle didn't look to fazed they probably guessed there was a pool running long ago.
"I'm still convinced you cheated bro! Anyway, Beckett and Castle"
"I think Javi means Castle and Castle..."
Espo rolled his eyes, "right... So that's gonna be fun at the precinct but congrats again guys! We couldn't be happier for the both of you"
"I think it's safe to say that Kate's like a sister to us and there's no better man for you than Castle"
"We've been around you guys through all the bickering, fights and make ups we've seen you both deny that you love each other for what felt like forever." Espo added the final line dramatically.
"And now here we are celebrating your wedding, so again congrats and me and Espo don't want to see you at the precinct for 3 weeks!" Captain Montgomery yelled out something along the lines of that's right!
"And we also expect to be uncles soon as well... Hint, hint..."
After Espo and Ryan's toast they both gave Kate and Rick a hug Kate thanked both boys and reminded them that she would still be Beckett at work. Which would save her two boys from getting confused.
After the boys Martha decided she would say a few words. Tapping on her wine glass she waited until everyone was quiet before turning to face her son and daughter-in-law, "okay so I just wanted to say a quick few words" Castle couldn't help but chuckle at the idea of his mother saying 'a quick few words!' Martha however was not impressed "Richard dear if you're not careful I'll have to bring up some childhood memories from the acting days of you" she threatened.
Kate placed a hand over Ricks mouth and gave Martha a wink, with that she continued. "Anyway as I was going to say darlings, I couldn't be happier I spoke to you both separately earlier and I meant every word. So quick and short, yes Richard I know surprise, surprise "Martha exclaimed dramatically making the guests chuckle at the interaction "I want to wish you good luck with your new beginning. And I know, knowing you two you will face some not so happy adventures along the way if the last four years have anything to say I know that asking as you have each other you will conquer anything. And Richard, I couldn't be prouder of the man you are today same with you Katherine and I'm so happy that both of you have helped one another to become better people I love you both so much and welcome too the family Kate although you have been apart of this family for a very long time". Martha raised her champagne flute "to Richard and Katherine Castle" the guest repeated after Martha.
She walked over to give both a quick hug, Kate and Rick both thanking her.
Kate quickly sat down as her gaze turned to her father she held onto Ricks hand feeling him lightly squeeze her hand for support. "Katie, Katie, Katie like I told you earlier I couldn't be prouder of the woman you have become. I know your mother would have loved to be here today to see you get married and the beginning of your bright future. Also I no doubt believe she would be telling us as much as she could 'I told you so' because Katie lets face it you and Rick have had each other's hearts a lot longer than you would probably like to admit."
Kate's cheeks flushed, but her smile never faded, she leaned her head against Ricks shoulder, Rick pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head. She sat up quickly to give him a tender smile that she uses only for him before she faced her father again.
"I just want to congratulate the both of you, and to thank you Rick for bringing my Katie back". He raised his water and cheered to 'Kate and Rick' the guests repeating, he made his way over to both of them hugging each other and thanking Jim.

After the speeches it was cake time Kate and Rick made their way over to the cake both holding the knife they cut the first slice on the bottom tier. They cut up a little piece each off the first slice they had cut then gracefully shoved it into each other's mouths before stealing another kiss both tasting the frosting from one another's warm cavern.
While the guests were enjoying their cake the dances began first father and daughter, then Castle and Martha and finally the first dance as husband and wife. Kate and Ricks song was 'In my veins'.
Around 11 o'clock that night whist their family and friends were on the dance floor Kate and Rick decided to head off for some alone time they said their goodbyes and thankyous' as they would be leaving early tomorrow for their honeymoon in Bora Bora.

They made it to their master bedroom, there were candles lighting up the dim lit bedroom white and red rose petals scattered along the bed, Kate turned to face Castle as he locked the door behind them before turning to face his wife he was met with such a beautiful smile. Biting down on the bottom of her lip turning to face their bed touching one of the rose petals.
She felt him walk up behind her kissing her shoulder, "Rick... When... How?" She whispered. He wrapped his arms around her waist kissing just behind her ear.
"Lanie and Jenny, said they 'romanticised' our bedroom they did a wonderful job" she let out a sigh along with a soft yeah. "Did I mention how beautiful you look today Mrs Castle?" He whispered in her ear causing her to let out a slight shiver.
She leaned further into him she doesn't think she would ever tire of hearing someone address her as 'Mrs Castle'. "Hmm you may have once or twice."
He chuckled behind her before slowly unclasping his hands from around her waist, she missed his warmth immediately but didn't complain when she felt him start to undo the back of her dress revealing her white lace lingerie he made an almost animalistic noise making her bite down on her lip with want. His lips traced a line along her shoulder to her ear as she slipped out of her dress and heels, falling a few inches shorter now. "So, so beautiful" he whispered in her ear and than it was Kate's turn.
She turned to face him taking in his darkened eyes that probably matched her darkened ones right now, the heat between them slowly building. His hands resting against her hips thumbs light caressing the milky white skin beneath her bra, his hands fit against her hips like they were meant to be there they fit so perfectly together in every way. She reached for the cuff links smiling at them definitely one of the best decisions she made for today.
Rick leaned back to place the cuff links on the vanity when he moved back Kate removed his jacket and leaned up to slowly brush her lips over his whilst she undid his white dress shirt and then before they knew it they were stumbling into the bed she undid his pants as she crawled back to the middle of the bed the entire time her eyes never leaving his whilst he removed his shoes and trousers. Before she knew it he was resting above her kissing her slowly. "I've waited all day since you said I do to make love to you slow and sensuous Mrs Castle."
She sucked in a breath her body shivering at this loving, tender tone but she shook her head which immediately bought him out of his haze he gave her a questioning look but she just smiled and cupped his cheek. Castle instantly leaning into her warmth and than she whispered as she bought him closer to her body " I don't want to make love tonight Rick, I want to try and maybe hopefully make a baby..."
