Chapter 24: Narrow Escape.

Draco continued to run through the crowd of people through out the city as he headed to the docks, as he got closer to the docks, five marines came out with their sword drawn and ready to take him on.

"Halt." one of them said as he and the other readied their weapons for a fight.

"Damn it, I don't have time for this." Draco said as he drew one of his swords, lined it up with the men, and then as he stepped on his right foot, he began to spin around and as he did, he yelled, "Dragon Dance: Single Step." and with that, he appeared behind them and he continued as he sheathed his sword. As his he finished sheathing it, all five men fell to the ground with slashes and wounds. "I'm almost there. Hold on guys." he said as he got closer to the docks.

Bubbles smiled as he stared a rubble that buried Raven, and then he turned towards Sia and Bert as he began to speak.

"And that is how you take care of pirates." he said in a mocking tone as he walked towards the group, but just as he was a few feet away, the stones began to move and as he turned, he saw Raven burst from the destroyed building and landed on the dock. As he stood straight up, all notice blood running down the left side on his face and he stared daggers at Bubbles.

"I'm not done yet." he said as he pulled his arm back and then he launched himself towards Bubbles, yelling, "Crimson Impact." But all Bubbles did was place both his palms out in front of him.

"Bubble Gatling." and after he said that, several smaller bubbles shot out from his palms and they headed for Raven. He noticed them, but could not stop his attack. As a few began to hit him, he was thrown back as if he was shot and then more hit him and he was thrown back again. Bubbles smiled as his attack took it's toll on Raven, and in one final shot, Raven was thrown back and rolled over the dock, breaking a few boards. After he stopped, Raven slowly tried to get to his knees, but Bubbles suddenly appeared above him, placed his hand on the back of his head, and then slammed him face first into the wood. He then slowly pulled up the young man, and then Bubbles turned left and throw him face first into a stores window. He calmly walked towards the window, reached inside, and then pulled out bloody Raven as there was wood and broken glass in his face. Bubbles then dragged Raven into the stone part of the walk way and then he placed his right hand on Raven's throat and then began to squeeze.

"No, let him go." Takashi yelled as tears ran down his and Edgar's faces as he was having trouble watching the young marine brutalize their captain. Bubbles looked at them and smirked as he turned back to the young pirate.

"You all picked this life, so suffer the consequences." he said has he lifted him up off the ground and then squeezed more, and smiled as he watched the young pirate gasp for air. He just watched as the life slowly left Raven's body, when suddenly a gleam of light appeared above him and then a sword swiftly cut his arm off. Bubbles stares in shock as the figure which was clad in a black coat with two more sword on him.

"Draco." Edgar yelled as he and Takashi got excited for seeing the first mate. Bubbles swiftly disappeared and then appeared in front of his group.

"Now, your suffer the consequences for messing with my crew." he said as he pointed his sword towards the one armed Marine and then he drew out his second sword. Bubbles looked at him for a second until his arms began to form around the area and in just a few seconds, his arm was back to normal.

"Or so you thought." he said as he looked at the young swordsman.

As the two young men stared each other down, three figures appeared on a building and were watching the whole thing.

"So, that's the guy you hung out with." Helios said as he looked at the set up with a smile on his face as he liked what he was seeing.

"Yeah, and that the one you had 'fun' with." Ryu said as he pointed at Draco.

"Yep." Helios said as the three continued to watch.

The two continued to stare each other down, until Raven stood up and started to pant heavy. Dracon looked back at his captain with a concern look on his face.

"So, what's the plan Rave?" he asked as he readied himself to fight.

"I'll distract him and you get past Bert and Sia." he said as he tried to stand up, but had trouble to stay straight.

"And then?" Draco asked as he was ready fro anything, well, almost.

"Then you free Takashi and Edgar. Then head off into the city and find a young captain named Hawks. Tell him what happen and see if you can join his crew." Raven said which made Draco turn to him in shock and a shocked look from Ryu

"W-what do you mean?" Draco asked as he was not sure how to re act to this statement, but then he noticed tears running down his face.

"I want all my crews dreams to come true. Even if mine doesn't." he said as he looked at all three his crew mates, who all teared up and cried a little, until Bubblies spoke up.

"Well, that's sweet. Don't worry. You'll all be in the same cell in Imple Deep." he mocked, which upset Raven, Draco, and Ryu. Draco was enraged as he readied for an attack and waited until Raven was ready to attack. Then both men charged towards Bubbles, who simply smiled as he waited for them to get closer to him, and just as they were about to touch him, he whispered.

"Bubble Wall." and then suddenly a large bubble formed around him, blocking both Draco's blade and Raven's fist. As they two jumped back, Raven was the first to charge and began to throw punches at random, which Bubbles dodged easily as they seam to go in circles. As they did this, Draco charged as well, but as he got near by, he stepped on to a nearby stand and launched himself over the two fighters. As he was in the air, he aimed himself towards Bert and Sia, who notice this and drew his sword ready to fend off the young swordsman. Bubbles looked up to notice what he was doing, and he just smiled as he formed a bubble around his fist and then throw forward, hitting Raven right in the stomach. Raven coughed up some blood as he was cent flying and crashed, and skidded to a stop.

"Raven." Draco yelled as he turned to face his down captain, and then he felt something wrong. As he turned around, he saw Bubbles smiling at him with a bubble formed around his right foot.

"Bubble Kick." he said as he throw the kick towards Draco, which he tried to block by placing them in a x shape, but it was no use and the force shattered both of his katanas. And it sent him flying as well and he landed next to Raven, still holding the hilts of his broken blades. The two slowly got up and looked on as Bubbles landed calmly, and stared back at them.

"What now?" Draco asked as he and Raven slowly got to their knees.

"I'm not sure, he's pretty strong and we can't seam to get past him." Raven said as he and Draco got to their feet, and then proceeded to ready themselves for a fight. Bubbles smiled as he placed his palms out in front of him.

"Bubble, Gatl..." he was cut off as a large body of dark red fire blasted down near him, forcing him to jump backand looked into the fire as a figure appeared from it. The figure was a large wolf made on the fire and next to it was a young man with two katanas hanging from his belt. As every one looked at the two, Bert and Sia didn't notice a third figure appeared behind them until he leaped into the air.

"Howling Strike." the two looked back just in time for Bert to get hit by his upper kick and Sia on his down kick. This sent Bert into a nearby building and Sia into the ground. After taking care of them, the figure kicked Takashi out of his restrains, which allowed Takashi to began to pick the lock to Edgar's. Bubbles turned around and saw it all, he then turned back with a look of anger on his face.

"Who are you Pirate Scum?" he asked as he looked at the figures in front of him. Ryu looked at him with a smile as he spoke.

"I'm Hawk D. Ryu. This is my close friends Larentia and Helios. And we are the Howling Wolf Pirates." he said as he drew his black steel sword and readied him self for an attack. Bubbles charged forward, as did Ryu, and the two began to exchange blows as Ryu's sword seam to be able to match Bubbles bubble fists. As they clashed, Raven and Draco took their chance and ran past the two fighters. As they got closer to the rest of their crew, Raven notice a still out Jamie, and after thinking it through, he decided.

"Draco, grab Jamie and head to the ship." he ordered his first mate, which shocked the swordsman as he turned to face his captain as he responded.

"What? Why?" he asked as he wondered why his captain was so worried about the fish girl. Raven turned to him and responded.

"She didn't do anything but help us and their throw her in jail for it." he said as they got closer to her. Draco thought for a second and then nodded as he agreed. Just as they stepped closer, Jewel popped out of nowhere with his staff taped up and tried to stop the two from continuing, but was taken care of with a simple punch by Raven. When they got to her, Draco swiftly scooped up the fish-girl and carried her close to his chest as they got to Takashi and Edgar, who had just been freed.

"Let's go, Slip Stream." Edgar said as he made a grease slick towards their ship, and the other used it as well to follow him close behind. This left Helios confused and smiling as he watched them.

"Ha, I wish I had that power." he said as he watched them get to their ship, when suddenly Bert appeared and smashed the ground near him.

"I will not let you pirate scum get away." Bert said as he tried to smash Helios, who jumped out of the way and readied himself for a fight.

Meanwhile, Raven and his crew got onto their ship and instantly started to get ready to leave. They pulled up the anchor, pulled up the sails, and removed the gangplank, but they were still at dock and could not move.

"Takashi, why aren't we moving?" Raven asked as he got worried.

"There's no wind. SO, we can't sail out." he responded as he got out the ores and the four young men began to row out of dock.

Back at shore, Helios was dodging all of Bert's punches and tried to get a footing to try a counter attack. Yet Bert would not let up and nearly hit him twice. This was notice by Ryu as he closed his eyes as tightly as he could as his sword met with Bubbles fist. He slowly opened his eyes and they were now red slits. Bubbles was shocked by this as he felt his attacks get stronger with every swing and in one swift move, he vanished from Bubbles sight.

"What? Where did he..." Bubbles was cut off by a load grunt, and he was shocked when he turned around. There was Ryu standing next to Helios, who was also in shock as they both looked as Bert's head fell to the ground and landed behind Ryu, who was smiling with a huge grin and blood on his face.

Why did Ryu do that? Can Raven and the others get from the island? And will happen to both crews after what has happen?

Well, sorry for the long wait. I've been busy with other stuff, and I'm planning a horror oc fic. So, this story s going on hiatus as of now.
