Talking with Sasuke

Sorry that I haven't updated in forever everyone! I lost all want to write and then my jobs got in the way of things. Oh my goodness it's a pain to be an adult. But anyway got to pay the bills somehow right? Well before I get started if you all are high school students listen to me carefully DO NOT take a break from school especially a four year break like me! It's a pain, but worth it!

I was doing the final touches to my outfit for the day. I heard noise downstairs that I didn't recognized, so I made my way down to see what was going on. As I hit the last step there sitting in the living room was both mine and Sesshomaru's dad and my brothers. "What is going on?" I asked and Sesshomaru walked up to me. "They thought that we should talk about what happened yesterday." He said to me and I nodded. "Ok" Was all I said.

We both take a seat with our family and just sat for a moment in quite. Then Sasuke spoke up. "I've lived in silence for a while so can someone say something?" He asked and I couldn't help but laugh. My dad looked at me for a moment and then shook his head. "At least she gets it." He said pointing to me and talking to my dad. "Bro one thing you're going to learn is that Dad isn't the same. We've all changed actually." Koji said to him. Sasuke just smiled. Then I realized something. "Oh Sasuke this is Sesshomaru!" I said pointing to him. Sasuke nodded to him. "We talked a little yesterday."

Sesshomaru nodded. "I'll go get some tea." I said feeling that I wasn't really needed. It was once again something that the guys needed to talk about. As I was walking back I heard them talking about what legal actions would be taken and then they mentioned my name and I froze in my tracks. "You guys better not be thinking about watching me 24/7 again." I said as I sat the tea down. All but Sasuke cringed and Sesshomaru didn't look at me. "Seriously? What about Sasuke?" I asked. Koji smiled and patted his back. "When dad can't be there it will be me." I sighed and then looked at my new husband. "What is your plan of action?" I asked him. Sesshomaru took a moment and then spoke.

"When you are not home or work you will be with someone in the family." He said to me and for some reason I don't believe him. "Ok." Was all I said. They all seemed surprised and I just left to go get me breakfast. Wasn't long before Sasuke came in and took a seat. "What's up?" I asked him. He looked around and smiled at me. "Well they are talking about boring stuff so I thought I would talk with you." He said to me. "Yeah it can be boring." I said to him. "So what has happened while I've." He stopped short and then thought a moment. "Been on vacation." He said with a smile and I couldn't help but laugh. "Glad someone still has a sense of humor." He said with a bigger smile.

"You have to have a sense of humor with this family." I said as I cooked me some eggs. "You want something?" I asked him. He nodded. "What would you like? I can cook almost anything." I said to him. "I'll have what you're having." He said to me and I nodded and then went back to cooking. "So how rough has life been?" He asked me. "For the most part it's been ok. It was by no means easy but it could have been worse." I said to him. "I'm sorry Rinny." He said to me and I paused my cooking and turned to smile at him. "Eggs are almost done." I said and then plated the food. "I'll be right back need to go get my medicine." I said and Sasuke stopped. "Are you sick?" He asked me. I shook my head. "No, it's for my allergies." I said to him and then made my way out the kitchen and to the living room where I made eye contact with Sesshomaru and he got up and followed me.

Sesshomaru and I went to the office room and I closed the door. "They bugged Sasuke." I said to him quietly. Sesshomaru looked from me to the door back to me. "What makes you say that?" He asked me. I took a moment to collect my thoughts and then told him. "He called me Rinny." I said to him. He looked at me like I was crazy. "When Sasuke and I were little and we played games if there was some sort of "distress" or whatever the code word was Rinny." I said to him and Sesshomaru caught on.

Sesshomaru took a moment and then looked me in the eye. "Did you have any other code?" He asked me and I shook my head. He sighed and then I remembered. "But him and Koji are math nerds and they made up their own math code maybe they can talk that way." I said to him and Sesshomaru looked at me and then kissed me on the lips. "You're family maybe odd but they sure now how to think outside the box." He said and then we left the room.

Sesshomaru made his way to the guys in the living room and I went back to the kitchen to eat breakfast. A few minutes later Koji enters with a piece of paper and hands it to Sasuke. Sasuke stops eating and reads it. Sasuke looks around for a pen and Koji hands him one. Sasuke then completes the message and lets Koji read it. Koji then nodded and made his way back to the living room. Sasuke looks at me and smiles. "Thanks for the breakfast Rin." He said to me. I smiled back at him and went on eating.

After our meal was over we all went to the living room where they had a plan laid out. I on the other hand just ignored them due to the fact that I wasn't one to really understand that stuff. I eventually fell asleep while they acted like nothing was wrong. They would ask Sasuke questions knowing that some of the answers might be a lie. But all the while he and Koji were communicating in their code. Soon the meeting was wrapped up and we decided on lunch.

I went to the kitchen and started on a meal that was to die for. Sasuke had walked in and was watching me. I showed that I knew he was there. "So is it true?" He asked me. I turned around and gave him a look that said he needed to explain what he was asking. "Koji was an addict?" He asked me. I took a deep breath and then nodded. "Why?" He asked me. I paused my stirring to look at him. "Sasuke, we all went through our issues when we thought you were dead." I told him. Sasuke nodded but wasn't happy with how things happened.

"Did you miss me?" He asked. I nodded not turning to look at him. "We all missed you." I said to him. "We love you forever and for always." I said and gave him a big hug. Sasuke hesitated but gave me a hug. "Not use to affection." He said shyly. I smile and nod in understanding. "Don't worry your safe now." I said to him and went back to cooking.
