Rosalie's point of view:

"And they're both asleep, so we should go to bed early too just in case they wake us up in the middle of the night," Emmett said, placing Hannah in the crib we packed to take with us.

"Oh, thank goodness," I whispered and leaning back on the bed in our hotel room. I slowly brought my leg up on the bed. "I am so sore from falling, and my ankle is throbbing with pain."

"I'll grab you ice," he replied in a quiet voice. "Where did I leave that ice bucket?"

"It's … over," I said, looking around before spotting the empty ice bucket. "By my suitcase. Maybe you can get me extra for later?"

"Whatever you want, my lady." Emmett winked at me, making me giggle.

Sighing, I leaned forward and slowly unwrapped the ace bandage around my swollen ankle.

"Oh, my gosh," I said as the pain throbbed through the swollen tissue. I tenderly touched my ankle before taking in a deep breath and fished the pain pills out of my pocket. Taking one out, I swallowed it with a sip of water from the bottle of water we'd gotten from the vending machine down the hallway.

Yawning, I leaned my head back against the head board and closed my eyes and rested. When the door opened, my eyes cracked open to see Emmett with a full ice bucket. Closing them again, I took a deep breath as I felt a dip in the bed beside me.

"Are you tired, babe?" Emmett asked, and I opened my eyes.

"A little," I told him as he held a baggie full of ice and lifted my ankle onto his lap again. "How are you?"

"I'm alright." He smiled at me as he put the bag of ice to my ankle and held it there. "Bummed to be going back to the real world tomorrow. I hadn't realized how much I needed a vacation."

"Me too," I replied. "Where should we go on our next one?"

"Well, I'm not sure I'd go on one with you if you sprain your ankle again," he teased me.

"Very funny," I said, rolling my eyes. "Any places you want the kids to see while they're young?"

Emmett shrugged his shoulders. "They won't be able to remember anything for a while, but I wouldn't mind another get away. The beach will be nice, and the kids can play in the sand and water."

"I'd like that, and I've never been to the beach," I said.

"Really? My parents took us there every summer; we loved going there," he said.

"Well …" I trailed off and bit my lip. "Mom and I only had a few places we went on vacation. Mom loved the forest, so we'd rent a cabin a few times and went hiking a lot. Sometimes we went a day just shopping, which was a rare splurge."

"That sounds nice, and when the kids get old enough we'll have to take them to the forest, and maybe you and Hannah can do a shopping trip when she's old enough." He gave me a huge handsome smile that caught me off guard, and my breath caught in my throat.

"What is it?" His face fell. "Does your ankle hurt?"

"No … it's just, you're handsome," I replied, my cheeks burning.

He smile again, his huge beautiful smile. "And you're beautiful." He cupped my cheek and leaned forward, giving me a soft, gentle kiss. I kissed him back as he scooted closer to me as my eyes fluttered closed. I felt Emmett let go of the ice as his arm came around me, pulling me against his solid body.

My arms came around his neck as I felt his tongue caress my lips, and I opened my mouth to him. He deepened his kisses, until I pulled away, breathing hard.

"Was that too much?" he asked in a husky whisper.

"No. You're okay; I'm okay," I told him with a happy, dazed smile.

His large hand that had moved to my waist came up to cup my cheek again as he swallowed, and his Adam's apple bobbed up and down. "Rosalie, I love you."

My mouth opened slightly again as I leaned back a little to look at his face. "You're serious?" I whispered, disbelieve running through me.

"Very serious," whispered back. "I never thought I'd feel this way toward another woman, but I do, Rosalie. I love you."

Tears filled my eyes as he talked as my heart swelled. "I love you too, Emmett. So, so much," I sobbed out as he looked at me in a way that took the breath out of me. Tears leaned down my cheeks as Emmett cupped both of them in his large hands, his thumbs brushing my tears away.

"Oh, Rosalie, honey. Don't cry," he said. "Why are you crying?"

"I hadn't hoped that I'd ever be loved like this," I admitted, half laughing, half crying. "I was so … I was so damaged from my ex, and I hadn't thought I'd be loved by a man, but you love me Emmett."

"I do, my love," he said, giving me a few short kisses.

I smiled at Emmett as he pulled back away from me, looking into my eyes, his own blue eyes looked at me in a way that I'd only dreamed of. "So much for icing your ankle," he said, his gaze neve leaving my face as he picked up the discarded bag of ice that lay on the bed.

"I'll say you took my mind off of the pain," I teased, making Emmett laugh.

"I'll add it to my resume if I should have to look for a new job," he replied as he held the ice against my skin. "I'll just leave this bag here, okay?"

"Sure," I said, "but are you planning on going somewhere?"

"Just to take a quick, but very hot, shower while the kids are asleep," he said. "I'll be quick as long as you're here when I get back."

I laughed. "I can't make any promises."

"Cruel, woman." He stood and winked at me, making me giggle.

The breath rushed out of me as Emmett turned and peeled off his shirt, revealing his muscled back. He put his shirt on the floor before rutting around in his suitcase and pulled out a pair of flannel pants. When he turned around, he caught my gaze and grinned at me.

"Enjoying the view?" he asked.

"Very much. It's too bad you don't walk around like this more often," I teased, making him laugh.

"I'll have to keep that in mind," he told me with a smirk before he ducked into the bathroom.

Sighing, I reached forward and grabbed the bag of ice and laid down. Within moments, I felt myself drifting off to sleep. When I woke up, Hanna's screams filled the air as a muscled arm wrapped around me from behind.

"What time is it?" I muttered as I felt Emmett move behind me.

"Two … two in the morning," he said, his voice deep from sleep.

"Ugg," I moaned as I sat up and swung my legs over the side of the bed. When I went to stand, I hesitated as my ankle throbbed in pain.

"I'll get her, babe. Don't stand up," Emmett said.

"And I'll hold her," I said, biting my lip as I took Emmett's muscle's; he still was shirtless and only wore his flannel pants.

"Shhh, baby girl," Emmett told Hannah. "Rosalie's going to hold you."

"Hey, sweetie. Shhh," I said as I took Hannah in my arms and rocked her back and forth.

"I'll get her some food. We have some baby food left, right?" Emmett asked.

"Yes, Emmett. I over packed the spare diaper bag, remember?" I asked.

"Oh, right. Mama bear mode," Emmett muttered as he picked up and rooted through the bag.

"Couldn't help it with my babies," I said. "And it seemed to help, and I wasn't sure how they'd act on the ride over either."

"Gosh, I hope tomorrow is easier." Emmett held out a jar of peas to me.

"There's clean spoons in the side pocket," I said to him as I accepted the jar.

"My lady," he said as he held out a spoon.

"Thank you," I said as Jordan started to cry.

"Here we are, Jordan," Emmett said as I unscrewed the lid of the baby food ad I balanced Hanna in my lap.

"I have your food, honey," I said as I put the food on the night stand table and scooped up a bite of the food. "Here we are."

Hannah opened her mouth and quickly swallowed the food.

"That's my little man," Emmett said, and I glanced at him and Jordan.

"Is he falling asleep again?" I asked as I scooped up another bite of food and held it to Hannah's open mouth.

"Yeah. He just wanted to check on his sister to make sure she's okay. He knows you have it so he can fall asleep again."

I flashed him a smile. "You're cute, you know that?"

"I know," he teased, making me snort. "Have to protect my girls."

"Do we need protecting, Hannah?" I asked the little girl in my lap.

She babbled at me and opened her mouth wide for me to feed her again.

"Of course, you need to feed her so she's nice and strong," Emmett said with amusement.

"Our strong little girl," I said to Hannah, who smiled at me.

"I think this little guy needs a diaper change," Emmett said, making a face.

"So a crying sister isn't the only thing that woke him," I replied as Emmett stood and got the changing mat. "Make sure you have a grocery bag so it won't stink up the whole room."

"Defiantly. I'll want to get some good sleep after this since I'll be driving home," he said, pulling out more supplies out of our main diaper bag.

"Sorry I won't be driving home," I said, feeling lousy that I'd hurt my ankle again.

"It's okay, babe," he said, laying Jordan out on the mat on the spare bed. "Oh, gosh, this is going to be bad."

"I hope he gets it out of his system now instead of tomorrow," I commented dryly.

"True."

I fed Hannah the last bite of food before screwing on the lid and tossing it in the nearby trash can. "Will you leave out the diaper stuff when you're done? I'll check her before we put her to bed," I said as I started to rock Hannah to sleep.

"Sure," Emmett said, making a face as he put a dirty baby wipe in the grocery bag.

Hannah sighed, and I smiled down at her as she fell asleep in my arms. I hummed quietly to the precious little girl in my arms. Hannah gave a happy sigh again as she slept. "My little girl."

When I looked up, I saw Emmett looking at me with that special look again that let me knew he loved me. Even though I could read his thoughts, he said, "I love you, Rosalie. I love you both."

"We love you too," I replied, accepting a kiss from him when he leaned down. He kissed Hannah's forehead next.

"How about you take him so I can change her?" he asked.

"Alright."

"Thanks, babe." He gave me one more kiss before he handed me Jordan carefully as he took Hannah.

"Shh," Emmett said to her when she started to whimper. "Daddy's here. I'm here, baby girl."

I grinned at them. She was a Daddy's girl, and I loved watching him with her. I rocked my body back and forth as Jordan slept soundly. I caressed Jordan's hair as I stared at his handsome face, amazed at how much he looked like Emmett.

"Are you ready for me to put him in the crib, Rosie?" Emmett asked.

I nodded, and gave Jordan a kiss on forehead before I handed him up to Emmett. "Sleep well, Jordan."

As Emmett placed our son in the crib, I scoot back into bed, moving my ankle slowly into bed. My eyes met Emmett's as he looked down at me, hesitating as he stepped toward the bed. "Is it okay if I sleep next to you? Sorry I didn't ask before you fell asleep, and I can clear the other bed."

"It's okay," I said. "You won't try anything."

"No; not until you're ready." Emmett moved to the other side of the bed and crawled into bed.

"Emmett?" I whispered.

"What is it?" he asked, his eyebrows coming together in worry.

I bit my lip as he took my hand. Taking in a deep breath, "I, I don't mind sleeping in the same bed with you. I trust you, and because of how violated I was when I was with my ex, I want to wait until I'm married before we have sex," I whispered to him slowly. "I know you'll respect my boundaries, and I want our first time to be special."

"Oh, Rosalie," Emmett said, cupping my cheek. "I promise it'll be that way. I love you, and I want to give you everything you deserve, and I'll wait until we're married to give you that."

"Thank you, Emmett," I whispered to him, taking a sigh of relief.

"Were you worried about telling me that?" he asked.

"A little," I said honestly. "I had a hunch you'd accept that, and you have been so patience since my flash back, but it was in the back of my mind how some aren't willing to wait until marriage for sex. After a lot of thinking and talking with the therapist, I know I needed to be honest with you about how I felt."

"And I'm glad you did," he said, giving me a light kiss on the lips.

Yawning, I felt Emmett's arm wrap lightly around my waist. "We'd better go to sleep," I said through my yawn.

"Good night, Rosalie," he said, giving me one more kiss.

"Night," I replied, as I took in his handsome face before closing me eyes and drifting off to sleep.
