Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: With Jeena's death by her brother Lyc, the other Saiyans defected to Rugai's side. Kanashimi finally defeated Corrynthia, while Rugai battles it out with Lyc. Will the Saiyans continue to defend the universe, or will they start to conquor it? Stay tuned to Dragon Ball NA.
Both Rugai and Lyc finally finished powering up. Lyc was furious that someone was fighting back. Lyc charged at Rugai, and threw a punch at him. Rugai countered with a punch of his own, both fists connected and caused a large explosive shockwave, the air around them shook violently. Both Saiyans moved in high speeds, each connected blow, made parts of the planet crumble. Up on Rugai's ship, the remaining Saiyans, and Rugai's friends watched from afar, both Argonia and Pargonia planets slowly move away from each other. Both Rugai and Lyc fell hard on the ground, and breathing heavily. "You worthless worm! How dare you fight the crowned heir to the Saiyan race! As a royal decree, I order you to kill yourself!" Rugai just stood there, cracked his neck, and fired an energy blast at Lyc. Lyc just barely dodged it.
"Your rules, your so-called 'decrees', and your way of thinking...Doesn't belong to our people! You are just scared that when people find out the real you, they don't want to have anything to do with you ever! You killed your own flesh and blood sister..." Rugai's aura went up without his thinking. "Why would you do that to her!?" Lyc unexpectedly started laughing maniacally.
"My sister was weak! Even weaker than you are! Our race doesn't need dead weight for where I'm taking it! Our pride as Saiyans, should be used to conquor everyone, not protect it! We are the the masters of this universe! We should take what we want, when we want! Dead weight like you and Jeena, shouldn't exist ever!" Lyc extended his hands nearly to his sides, two black energy orbs with red lightning swirling around it, was produced in his hands. "Decision time, worm. Save this planet, or that of my dead weight sisters'... Choose!" Lyc fired one black orb towards Argonia, then the second one far behind himself. Rugai just stood there, clenched his fists tight, and let it glowed the same golden-yellow as his hair. Lyc turned towards Rugai, and kept laughing. "My specialty for those who refuses to bow down to me, Death Ball. Suffer in your poor choice!" The Death Ball Lyc sent to Argonia collided, causing its partial destruction. His other Death Ball, caused Pargonia to look like its twin planet.
"I will stop you Lyc... Even if it means at the cost of my own life!" Rugai extended both hands forward. "SHOTGUN DOUBLE BARREL!" Thousands of bullet sized balls of light, hurtled towards Lyc in near blinding speed. Lyc crossed his arms in a defensive pose, as Rugai's attack hit him, Lyc was pushed back a few feet. The moment Lyc put his arms down, Rugai disappeared. Lyc frantically looked in every direction to find him, Rugai reappeared right in front of him just as Lyc turned back. Lyc was startled, then moved back a foot.
"How dare you!" Lyc's anger was finally at his peak.
"How dare I... How dare I!? You who nearly destroyed both planets!" Rugai punched Lyc harder than before. Lyc was sent flying backwards a far distance, Rugai dragon dashed behind Lyc's body. "You are supposed to carry the good name of our race furthur than our parents and their parents before us... Why are you trying to tarnish it!?" Lyc struggled to get up, after wiping the blood from his mouth, Lyc gritted his teeth.
"The Saiyan name...? You are a fool to think that our race could protect the universe. We are the strongest race in existance! We should take what is rightfully ours! We should command everyone else to do our bidding! That is the true purpose of our Saiyan heritage!" Lyc punched Rugai as hard as he can, Rugai was unfazed by Lyc's lack of force behind it.
"Can't believe how weak YOU'VE become, Lyc. For someone who boasts about how you'll 'defeat me'." Rugai started to walk away. "You've been defeated, by a weak worm as you call it. Goodbye Lyc, you've been dethroned." Rugai slowly flew towards his ship, Lyc cursed Rugai under his breath. He then converted what was left of his normal ki, and his entire life force into one more attack.
"Even if I die... I WILL KEEP MY TITLE AS THE NEW KING OF THE SAIYANS!" Lyc fired his blast as Rugai, laughing out loud. "DIE WORTHLESS WORM!" Rugai turned around just as the blast was halfway at him.
"YOU FOOL!" With one hand, Rugai fired a stronger ki blast at Lyc, pushing not only Lyc's own attack, but Rugai's mixture as well. Lyc took the full brunt, leaving a smoldering ash and burnt soil where Lyc used to stand. Rugai mouned breifly, then flew fast towards Argonia.
Back on the ship...
Deena stood in the cockpit alone, watching both planets moving furthur and furthur away from each other. Everyone else was in the cafeteria, talking with their new Saiyan friends. "If you didn't like what Lyc was doing, why did you kept following him?" Tenchu sais as he held a bottled water in his hands while looking down.
"Lyc was stubborn, and lied to us about everyone. We felt bad for him that he had to lie to get friends. By the time we figured out his true nature, we were so deep in his actions, that breaking away, would resulted in the loss of our lives." Vivek explained.
"We respected our king, Harugo, and had much admiration for Dugai. And we had a good friendship with both Rugai and Jeena." The large Saiyan spoke. "We were fools to believe Lyc's deception." Tenchu got up, and extended his hand at them.
"Everyone... Something's happening to the planets!" Deena got on the intercom and got everyones' attention. They all ran to the cockpit, the moment they entered, both Argonia and Pargonia's atmospheres turned dark red, the landscapes of both were nearly covered with lava. Deena's complexion went pale as a ghost, the Saiyans and the Earth Fighters were stunned at the sight of the planets' state. Deena fell to her knees and murmured 'Please be safe Rugai'.
"Rugai will be ok... He has to be." Sanfan tried to be strong, but tears were swelling from her eyes. Tenchu held Sanfan's hands, trying to look strong in front of her. Kanashimi, Ferno and the rest just looked upon the near destruction of both planets.
Back on Pargonia...
Rugai quickly flew around, trying to find a ship to escape. He dodged he lava geyers, and briefly rested on whatever rock that isn't melted. When no ship was found, he made a B-line towards Argonia. Rugai held his breath just before leaving the atmosphere. Halfway there, he saw Argonia's near destruction. Rugai quickly looked back, saw no means to escape. Rugai started to panic, and losing his breath. Both planets started to shake violently, chunks of the planets broke apart at first, then Argonia and Pargonia exploded.
back on the ship, nearly everyone fainted. Deena cried uncontrollably, Evelyn picked her up and carried Deena to her room. Ferno, Kanashimi and Darryn rushed towards an airlock, Ferno and Kanashimi put on the spacesuit, and searched for Rugai amongst the leftover debris of Argonia and Pargonia. "I have detected no other life signatures other than our own." Darryn contimued to scan multiple areas.
"This is pointless, I mean seriously, after an explosion like that..."
"This isnt the time to be arguing!" Ferno pushed them apart. "We've combed every inch and no sign of Rugai. Even I don't want to admit that he's dead." Darryn and Kanashimi looked down a bit. "Lets head to Namek, and use their Dragon Balls to bring him back." As the others agreed, everyone returned to Namek. Everyone departed from the ship, and was greeted by Elder Oori and the rest of the Namekians.
"Greetings friends. I see you brought more friends." Oori casually walked up to them and extended his hand at the Saiyans.
"We don't deserve such a warm welcome. I mean..." Vivek was cut off.
"We know you've done evil things, but we wouldn't extend a welcome if there wasn't any good in you." The Saiyans were floored at Oori's words. "Where is the one called Rugai? We were anxiously waiting to meet with him again." Everyone got depressed that Rugai isn't with them.
"We were wondering if we can use your Dragon Balls to bring Rugai back?" Tenchu held back tears of sadness.
"Well it shouldn't be a problem. Sure. We've already gathered them for you in case if something happened." Seven random Namekians brought the Dragon Balls to the center of the village. Elder Oori stood before them, held his hands up in the air. Eternal Dragon of Love, I summon you... PORUNGA! Ferno was the only one to understand the Namekian language, as Oori summoned the dragon
"You who have gathered the seven Dragon Balls... I will grant you three wishes!" Except the Namekians, everyone was shocked to see an actual dragon.
"Holy crap, elder." Bull's mind raced with more questions than theories.
"Could you have him bring Rugai back to life, elder?" Tenchu quickly asked. Elder Oori turned to Porunga and asked for his revival.
"Your wish..." Porunga paused at the wished being asked. "Cannot be granted. The one called Rugai is not dead."Everyone was shocked to hear that Rugai wasn't dead.
"Does that still count as a used wish Elder?" Sanfan gave Elder Oori the puppy dog eyes.
"No child." Oori chuckled a bit. "If Porunga can't grant a wish, it doesn't get used." Everyone got a sigh of relief. "Could you ask him to bring him back to us then?" Oori asked Porunga Sanfan's wish.
"...Your wish, cannot be granted. There is a force preventing the one called Rugai to be wished back into this dimension." Deena nearly lost her will to live that Rugai was gone.
"Dee, don't shut down like this. We all know that Rugai is alive, and he'll find his way back to you. Please Dee, please hold yourself together. You can kick his butt when he gets back." Tenchu hugged Deena tightly. "Don't give up sis." Then Kanashimi said something completely out of the blue.
"Have him restore the planets of Argonia and Pargonia to its original state for the first wish, then the second to revive the inhabitants for both. Don't really care about the third wish." The Saiyans just looked at Kanashimi. "...What?"
"N..Nothing." Ivan quickly looked away. Oori smiled, then proceeded to make Kanashimi's wishes be heard.
"Your wish is granted. The planets Argonia and Pargonia will be restored to its former glory." Porunga's eyes glowed. Elder Oori used the second wish to bring back the inhabitants of both. Porunga made an o.k. guesture with his left hand, and his eyes glowed again.
"Guys, we still got one more person to revive." Said Evelyn. "I've brought her body here." Evelyn gently placed Jeena's body between Elder Oori and the Earth Fighters. "Please, revive her." She got on her hands and knees and started to cry. Oori just smiled at Evelyn's good heart, turned to Porunga and used the final wish.
"Your wish is granted." Porunga's eyes glowed, and Jeena's body instantly healed. She breathed in deeply, filling her lungs with breatheable air. She slowly turned her head and saw the Namekians, the Saiyans who defected from Lyc, and almost all the Earth fighters standing around her.
"...Did we win?" Jeena had difficulty speaking.
"I have fulfilled all three wishes. Farewell." Porunga's body disappeared, and all seven Dragon Balls swirled their way into the sky, then scattered in several directions.
Jeena slowly got on her feet with the help of a couple Namekians. Sanfan hugged her tightly and cried on her shoulder. "Rugai is gone." Jeena started to cry, Deena nearly fainted again after hearing Sanfan's words.
"He's not dead." Bull finally spoke up. "The boy will be back. Don't be so quick to dismiss him." Nearly everyone tried to hold onto that thought. Another week passed, and the Earth Fighters, with the Saiyans, said their goodbyes again, and headed back to Earth. It took them no less that six months to get back. Bull quickly resumed his duties back at Qube Corp. again, bringing them back out of financial ruin with new inventions he seen during his travels. The Saiyans that they brought back, admired the view of the city.
Late that night, the four of them silently re-boarded the ship. When Vivek and Ivan reached the cockpit, Kanashimi was standing there with her arms crossed. "You're late."
"You had the same idea, huh?" Vivek spoke towards her.
"I really hate to admit it..." Her face contorted with discomfort. "We got to find him. Since he's our new king now..." She walked over to one of the sides and hit it gently. "He has to lead us." Vivek and Ivan nodded. Before they could react, Darryn appeared out of nowhere, and sat in the pilots seat.
"I will accompany you to search for Rugai. You will need my assistance in piloting and maintaining this ship." Kanashimi and the rest of the Saiyans agreed, and took off back into space.
Daybreak...
With confusion of where most of the Saiyans disappeared, Deena, Tenchu and Sanfan, took off towards Snowvilla. Jeena and the young girls, stayed behind with Bull and lived with him and his family. Ferno and Evelyn, went back to Mt. Paos and lived in seclusion. The Earth Fighters will never forget the joy of traveling with Rugai, though short lived as it was, still pray every day for his safe return. Three years have passed, the world martial arts tournament is closing with its final bout, Tenchu vs. Ferno. As each landed blow for blow, Tenchu emerged victorious, though hollow as it is. He years for the real fight between him and his best friend Rugai for the real title of Strongest in the World. Bull and Jeena married and gave birth to a son, Jurek. Sanfan kept on training with Tenchu after the birth of their son, Tenchi, who was named after his twin brother. Deena, became the village elder and gave up fighting altogether. She still looks out every night, keeping her hopes up.
With the Saiyans and Darryn out searching the galaxy for any sign of Rugai, most of the Earth Fighters keep on training in case of another attack against the Earth. Will their favorite Saiyan return? Or is this the last they'll hear from him? Find out next time, on Dragon Ball NA.
