Chapter 26
Elliot stood outside the door to the living room his hand on the handle. He had gone through a lot of shit over the last three years, and made some hard decisions, the hardest one being coming back to New York and seeing Olivia. He never thought he would need to sit down and explain everything to his kids, he hadn't wanted them involved. They didn't need to know the evil that was out there. But because of Sirus he now had no choice he had to sit his kids down and explain everything, explain how he died and came to life.
He heard her coming down the corridor towards him but never moved. She wrapped her arms around his waist from behind and kissed his back though his t-shirt.
"You have been stood here for 20 minutes," she said into is back. "Your hand resting on the door handle."
"You checking up on me Benson?" he asked her.
"Maybe," she smiled.
"I'm scared," he said quietly. "I'm scared if I go in there and tell my kids what I am they will be scared of me or even worse hate me."
She circled around him to stand facing him.
"You're a good man Elliot," she said cupping his face.
"Maybe but it's the being a dad part that I suck at," he sighed. "How am I supposed to tell them I have become something from a horror movie? That I lied to them when they were little, that evil monsters do exist and I'm one of them."
"You're not a monster Elliot and your not evil."
"Yeah and I'm not exactly human."
"Maybe not," she smiled up at him. "But you are still Elliot Stabler and you are still their father in here," she said tapping his chest above his heart. "Nothing is going to change that, now get in there and see your kids."
He took a deep breath and nodded "Don't go too far," he said kissing her softly before she stepped to the side and he opened the door and walked into the room.

He closed the door and looked over to the table all his kids and Cragen were sat around it talking. Cragen was the only one facing the door and looked up when Elliot closed the door behind him and stood still.
The kids went quiet when he looked towards the door guessing their father had just walked in. Dickie turned around and jumped up out of his chair when he saw Elliot and ran over to him followed by Lizzy and the flung their arms around him hugging him tight.
"Are you okay?" asked Dickie. "We thought something had happened to you."
Elliot nodded. "Are you guys okay after what you saw. I didn't want you to see all that."
They both nodded. "Olivia explained a few things," said Lizzy.
"But she said you would explain everything else," said Dickie. "You know once you have spoken to Maureen and Kathleen."
Elliot lifted his head towards the table Maureen and Kathleen were still sat with their backs to him. Cragen got up and walked over to him.
"I will leave you guys to talk," he smiled at Elliot as he passed and left the room.
"Do you think you guys could give me and your sisters a little space?" he asked the twins.
"Sure Dad," said Dickie. "We are kinda over the shock of seeing you, plus we always believed you were still alive anyway, so when we did see you, it wasn't a complete shock….. Well apart from the fight…."
"Yeah, we will get us all some drinks," said Lizzy smiling pulling Dickie towards the kitchen.
"Thank you," he said kissing the top of her head and squeezing Dickie's shoulder and the two of them walked over to the kitchen area.
Elliot let out a long breath and walked over to Maureen and Kathleen and stopped just behind them, they were still sat with their backs to him.
"I can understand that you're both pissed with me," he said softly. "Leaving the way I did without any explanation or calls, believe me if I could have called you I would, but things were so mixed up. My head was all over the place."
He stood looking at the back of their heads, his heart breaking that they couldn't even look at him. He looked over to the kitchen and saw the twins pretending not to watch.
"Did you also have no choice but to ignore us for three years?" asked Kathleen.
"It was complicated," he told them. "But if you… if you give me a chance, I….. I will explain everything," he said his voice cracking. "You don't know how much I have missed you all," he said tears running down his face.
Kathleen spun around in her chair and glared up at him. "You missed us?" she asked him standing up and pushing her hands hard against his chest. "Bullshit." Elliot stepped back slightly as though she had moved him when she hit his chest.
"Of course I did," he said reaching out for her. Kathleen pushed his hand away.
"You have been back since Christmas Eve!" she yelled. "Christmas fucking Eve! And we hear nothing from you."
Elliot flinched as she screamed and swore at him.
"Do you know what we done Christmas Day, when you were all snuggled up with Olivia. We visited your grave…"
"Kathleen…."
"We took flowers and small gifts. We talked to you and cried because you," she said pushing him again. "You let us think you were dead," she said tears pouring down her face. "We… We thought you were dead," she sobbed. "For three years every night I have cried because I missed you so much."
Elliot stepped forward and reached out for her, she tried to push him away but he was too strong for her and he wrapped his arms around her pulling her to him.
"I hated you," she cried. "For months I hated you because….. Because I thought you were gone… You were dead. You left us," she said tears soaking through his t-shirt as he held her shaking body. "They said you were dead," she said quietly as he held her tightly in his arms. "And I never got to say goodbye to you."
"I know," he said kissing the top of her head. "And I'm so sorry for that," he told her as he looked over at Maureen who had finally turned in her seat and was standing up. Her eyes black from we're her eye makeup had run.
"Your really back," she sniffed.
"Yeah Sweetheart I'm really back….. Come here," he said holding one arm out.
Maureen quickly stepped forward into his embrace as he held them both to him. He felt their arms loop around him as they hugged him back and they both cried as Elliot held them tightly in his arms his own tears still falling.
"Well that went better than I thought," said Dickie.
"Yeah," said Lizzy. "Kathleen didn't swear half as much as I thought she would."
"And I really thought the Stabler temper would of come out a bit more, felt for sure she would have tried to punch him," he chuckled.
"Dickie," she whispered. "Have you noticed how cold Dads hands seem to be and when he kissed me his lips were so cold."
Dickie nodded. "Kind of makes my theory about what happened to him a bit more believable huh."
"Yeah, and as much as I don't want to believe it, I think your right."
Elliot listened to them whispering in the kitchen. Maybe telling them wouldn't be as hard as he first thought.
Maureen and Kathleen pulled back from him as Dickie and Lizzy walked over with sodas and beers for everyone. They both wiped their eyes as Elliot quickly copied them afraid they would see his tears glistening.
"Why don't we all sit down," he said to them and I will explain everything that happened. Starting with when me and Liv went undercover."
All four kids nodded as they sat back down at the table.
He looked around the table. He couldn't believe he was actually sitting here with them.
"Okay," he said taking a deep breath. "Before I start I need to be clear on a few things. Everything I am going to tell you happened. I know what the reports said and I know what people told you, but a lot of it was a lie. Some of things may seem hard to believe but I swear what I am going to tell you is the truth, no more lies."
They all nodded in silence.
"Some of it may scare you a little as well…"
"Jesus dad, okay we get the message," said Kathleen. "It's some scary shit and not very nice," she said rolling her eyes and reaching over and grabbing a beer. She popped the can and Elliot stared at her.
"What?" she asked and Elliot raised his eyebrows looking at the can. "You cannot be serious," she laughed. "You disappear three years ago, everyone but the dweebs," she said looking at Dickie and Lizzy, "Think your dead. You show up out the blue, kill a load of men, bring us to an underground apartment below a club that you own and you get all judgemental at me for having a friggin can of beer."
Elliot just sat staring open mouthed at her as she took a large drink.
"And there is the Kat we all love," laughed Dickie.
"Screw you Dickwad," she grinned. Elliot watched Dickie pull a face at her and couldn't help but smile watching the interaction between them he had missed it so much.
"Erm you all finished now?" he asked looking between the two siblings.
"Yeah Dad they are," said Maureen giving him a small smile.
"Okay, well as you know we went to the town because kids were going missing …"
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
"No…. No way," said Maureen standing up. "Vampires are not real," she laughed. "They're just some fictional creature like werewolf's and shit….. You said you would tell us the truth."
"And that's what I'm doing sweetheart, I know it sounds farfetched and crazy but it's real, vampires are real."
"And they came to the town and took the kids," said Kathleen.
Elliot nodded. "We were so close that night to getting everyone out alive and safe, but it just got too much. We got attacked and that's when I got hurt. Olivia tried to save me but I told her to go, she had to get the kids to safety. I was dying and there was nothing she could have done."
Maureen walked over to the small bar area and got a bottle of vodka and some glasses and brought it back to the table. Elliot didn't say anything as she poured a drink and downed it in one go.
"Typical," said Kathleen. "I have a beer and get a death stare Maureen knocks back the spirits and nothing."
Elliot ignored her little quip and got himself a drink to calm himself down. They had taken the first part of the story quite well asking questions every now and then, especially Dickie who seemed to have quite a bit of information already about what happened.
"But dad, you didn't die," said Lizzy. "You're here now with us, so what happened?"
Elliot poured another large drinking wishing it had the effect that it used to have before he was turned.
"After I was attacked and Olivia left Martin and Arnie found me. Martin could tell I was still alive but only barely, so he got me out of there before I was found. He was trying to get me somewhere safe but he needed to find somewhere to hide out as the sun was rising. He knew I wasn't going to make it; I was getting weaker, so he gave me some of his blood, to keep me alive. Unfortunately we came under attack and….. And….."
"And what?" asked Kathleen.
"They Erm, they snapped my neck killing me." The room went silent again as they all took in what he said.
"But your alive," said Kathleen. "You're here, with us. So they couldn't have killed you."
"They did Kathleen….. I died."
"He had Vampire blood in his system," said Lizzy quietly, as it dawned on her that Dickie had been right about what he thought.
"Yeah I did Baby girl," he said giving her a small smile.
"Which means if the stories are true…." She said.
"You turn into a Vampire," said Dickie finishing her sentence for her as they all looked at him.
Kathleen poured a glass of vodka out and handed it to Maureen who drank it quickly; she didn't bother with a glass for herself as she drank straight from the bottle. Elliot never spoke just letting everything he had just told them sink in first.
"So let me get this straight," said Maureen. "You were alive, drank vampire blood, then got killed, and then came back to life because of the blood and now your Vampire."
"Yeah," he said waiting for one of them to explode or freak out. He looked at Dickie who had a smug look on his face as if to say I told you all. Lizzy was biting her lip and Maureen was rubbing her hands over her face, whilst Kathleen took another drink from the bottle and they all sat in silence. He watched as the kids looked between one another. Elliot wanted to say something but didn't know what. I mean what could he say to make this any better. He wasn't sure how long they all sat in silence for looking down at the table.
"Oh shit," said Kathleen out loud as she dropped her head to the table and banged it over and over.
"Kathleen what's the matter are you okay?" asked Elliot worried at the way she banged her head on the table
"No, I'm not," she groaned. "As if it wasn't bad enough trying to keep a boyfriend when you told them your dad was a cop, we got zero chance of keeping one now," she said looking around at them. "I mean can you imagine the conversation. Hi meet my dad, he's a Vampire. God life sucks at times," she said dropping her head back to the table.
Everyone just looked at her in silence until Dickie and Lizzy started to giggle. Elliot looked at them and then to Maureen who started to laugh as well.
"What?" she asked raising her head to look at them all laughing.
"You really didn't just use the phrase Life Sucks after what we have just been told did you," said Dickie in between laughing.
"And moan about not being able to get a boyfriend," laughed Maureen. "After everything we have just been told this is your main worry."
"Well it was bad enough when he would come out cleaning his gun in front of them, what you going to do now, show them your fangs and whip out a stake. I'm never gonna be able to date again," she moaned making them laugh even more.
Elliot just sat at the table watching his kids laughing, of all the ways this could have gone, he would never have bet on this. They finally stopped laughing and looked at Elliot who was just sat there.
Lizzy reached over and touched his face her hand rubbing against his cheek.
"Is that why you feel so cold?" she asked him.
Elliot just nodded. "And why my skin is a little paler."
"What else do we need to know Dad?" asked Maureen. "Is it all like it is in the movies and books."
Elliot shook his head, "No, not exactly but some of it is, I can't go out in the sun as it burns me up from the inside out. I can only be killed by a wooden stake or bullet through the heart or by chopping my head off."
"Oh Jesus," said Maureen dropping her head to her hands.
"What you mean like Liv did early tonight?" asked Dickie. "To that guy, when she used the sword."
"Yeah, like that. Also silver into my blood stream hurts like a bitch and will kill me slowly if it goes to my heart."
He sat quietly waiting for it all to sink in.
"So do you drink blood from people," asked Dickie.
"I have to, too keep strong. I can live on animal blood but after a while I will become weak."
"Where do you get the blood?" asked Maureen. "You don't kill people to get it do you?"
"No I don't kill innocent people just to feed. I normally use a blood bank and warm the blood up. Also there are people that know about us and help us. But lately….." he looked at them not wanting to lie to them. "Since I got back Olivia has been letting me feed from her."
Maureen stood up and walked away from the table.
"Maureen," he said but she just raised her hand.
"Just, give me a minute," she told him as she tried to take it all in. There was so much more he had to tell them but he knew he couldn't rush it all.
"You drink Olivia's blood. You sink your teeth into her neck and drink her blood, and she lets you. Does it hurt her?" asked Kathleen. "You know, when you do it."
"No honey it doesn't hurt her, if it did I wouldn't do it. It's a weird feeling…. strangely enough it is actually quite nice," he told her not wanting to tell his kids how erotic and how much of a turn on it actually was.
"What does it taste like?"
"Everyone is different. I guess it's just like normal food some you like some you don't."
"It still sounds pretty gross."
"Yeah give me a cheeseburger any day," said Dickie.
Elliot smiled, "I hated it at first but I knew I had no choice I had to drink it to survive."
He looked around as they sat in silence again.
"I know this is a lot to take in and I know you are going to have loads of questions over the next few days, but there is one thing I need to tell now that is important."
"Does it have to do with those men early?" asked Lizzy.
"Yeah, Sweetheart it does. After I became what I am, the Elder Vampires called me to a meeting. They wanted me to take over the job of the Guardian. The Guardian is a bit like the chief of police. He oversees a Task force that protects everyone. Even in the Vampire world there is good and bad. Most of us are good and want a quiet life. The good ones live as normal life as possible fitting into society the best way they can. They don't want people to know about them. The others they use their power to hurt people, they will kill humans just for fun. They will turn people who are evil humans to start with which means once turned they are even worse. You see the type of person you are, your feeling and emotions are all heightened when you are turned. My job as Guardian is to hunt down these Vampires and destroy the Covens they have built up."
He looked around the table at them.
"One of these Covens has a Master called Sirus. He was the one who was taking the kids from the town. He is angry with me and Olivia for stopping him and he is out for revenge. He threatened to kill everyone I care about before killing me. He wants me to suffer for what we done to him, for taking away the town from him and for killing his men."
"That's why Munch came over to warn us about letting people into the house," said Dickie. "And why all that security was put in."
"Yeah, it's also why I had to tell the guys at work and why they are staying here, you are all in danger until I stop him. The reason I was late getting back last night was because I found out your house was attacked by Sirus's men. They were all finally killed but not before they tore the place apart. I guess Sirus was a little pissed off at me and Liv killing his men."
"So what happens now?" asked Maureen. "Are Mom and Eli safe?"
"I have people watching your Mom and Eli they will be fine. One good thing about LA more sun fewer Vampires. As for you guys you will all have to stay here until this is over. No going out alone," he said looking at Kathleen. "And no sneaking out," he said turning to the twins.
"Dad you will be okay won't you. We just got you back. I don't want to lose you because some whacked out Vampire has a grudge against you," said Maureen looking at him worried.
"Don't worry," he said reaching across and taking hold of her hand. "I got this covered. He is no match for the guys I have working for me, we just got to find him first and we are getting closer each time. Once we find him we will take him out and hopefully this will calm things down."
There was a rapid knock on the door and Elliot looked up. "Come in!" he yelled and the door burst open.
"Sir, we have a problem," said Luke.
"What's happened?" he asked standing up as all the kids turned to the door.
"Arnie was making his way here with Joseph when him and Lucy came under attack. Joseph and the men fought with them and told Arnie to go to get to safety. However two of Sirus's men broke away from the fight and chased them down. They stabbed Arnie but Lucy managed to fight them off the best she could but she has been hurt."
"How bad?"
"They cut her up with a silver knife. Joseph got away and got to them just in time he is bringing her in. They shouldn't be long."
"It looks like those self-defence lessons you insisted on her taking with you paid off."
"Yeah," he said looking at his kids making the decision there and then that he was taking them in the gym tomorrow and giving them some lessons.
"Go and get Olivia for me then get Melinda she is in the club, she might be needed for Arnie. Close the club and then get the men to do a full sweep. Sirus is getting information about us from somewhere, so he may have men hiding out in here. My guess is Anabella is the one giving him information, it has to be her. Have you heard from the Chancellors and when they will be arriving here?"
"Tomorrow night. Also Sir, I got a message from Russia, Our Master is on her way here. She is on a boat as we speak."
"What the hell is she coming for?"
"I don't know Sir, they wouldn't say."
Elliot nodded and Luke left the room in a blur. Elliot turned and saw his kids staring at him looking worried and scared.
"It's okay," he told them. "Your safe down here. Why don't you go get something to eat?"
"Were fine Dad," said Maureen.
Olivia came in the room. "What's happened?" she asked him. Elliot quickly told her what Luke had told him.
"Are you guys okay," she asked the kids. They all nodded and watched Elliot pacing back and forwards looking worried.
"Liv, could you take the kids through to the bedroom for me," he said as he stopped in front of them.
"Sure," she said turning to the kids.
"No," said Kathleen. "This is part of your life now and we need to see it. I'm not going anywhere."
"Kathleen, this isn't going to be like the movies, this won't be all nice and sweet like Twilight."
"I'm staying."
"Me too," they rest of the kids said together.
Olivia watched as he got frustrated with his kids. "Elliot, you can't hide them from this," she said taking hold of his hand." Kathleen is right, this is your life now and they should be here."
"But Liv you know how bad this could be. Look at me the other night and that young girl it could be too much for them. I don't want to scare them I have so much more to still tell them before I let them see stuff."
Olivia reached up and cupped his face. "I know you want to protect them El. Tonight they have found out you are alive and a Vampire and yet they are still here. They aren't little kids anymore and you need to trust them to make their own choices."
Elliot took a deep breath and looked over at them. "If it gets too much you leave," he told them.
They all nodded just as the door burst open and Luke ran in with Lucy in his arms she was screaming in pain.
"Put her on the table," said Elliot wiping the table clear.
Luke laid her down. "She has cuts all over," he said as him and Elliot looked down at the small girl on the table covered in blood.
"Oh my god," said Maureen as Lizzy moved towards her and she put her arm around her little sisters shoulders.
"She is just a kid," said Kathleen as Dickie reached for her hand and watched as Elliot ripped open the girls top to check her injuries.
He used her top to wipe the blood away from the wounds. "There are a lot but they aren't deep," he said.
The door opened again and Joseph and Arnie staggered in. Olivia ran to Arnie and took him from Joseph who was also injured and helped Arnie to the couch just as Melinda came in.
"I had to get my bag," she said rushing to Arnie.
Melinda looked at Olivia "Vampire or Human?" she asked her.
"Human," said Olivia looking down at Arnie.
"Is…. Is she okay?" he asked trying to look past Melinda towards Lucy.
"Don't worry, Elliot is looking after her," she told him. "Just let Melinda sort you out." Arnie nodded and Olivia left his side to go to Elliot.
"How is she?" she asked him.
"Not good," he told her. "Did you give her any blood?" he asked Joseph.
"Yes Sir, I gave her mine, but it didn't help much, the cuts wouldn't heal. I thought it could be because I was injured myself."
"I gave her mine as well," said Arnie.
Elliot looked down at her. "There is too much silver in her body," he said. "The cuts aren't deep but they are bad enough cause a lot of damage."
"Elliot," said Lucy through clenched teeth. "It hurts," she told him. "It hurts so bad," she cried.
"I know it does Baby girl," but I'm going to help you okay. I just need you to try and relax."
She nodded as she took fast sharp breaths.
"How…. How is Grand pops?"
"He's good," he smiled at her wiping her blood soaked hair from her face. "My friend Melinda is looking after him."
"I done good, huh," she grimaced. "I remembered what you told me."
"Yeah you done real good," he told her.
"Guardian, you know what she needs," said Luke.
"Yeah I know, but I haven't had the Elders blood since the other night. My blood alone won't be enough."
"Guardian….. Elliot she will die unless she gets strong blood into her system."
"Fuck," he cursed. "Go get it," he told Luke who dashed from the room.
Lizzy pulled away from Maureen and walked over to the table and stood on the opposite side of her dad and looked down at the small girl lying there as she writhed in pain crying out.
"Hey Lucy, My name is Lizzy" she said reaching out and taking hold of her hand.
"L….. Lizzy. Your Ell… Elliot's daughter."
"Yeah that's right," smiled Lizzy.
"Your…. Your dad talked…..about you ….bout all of you," she squeezed Lizzy's hand hard and Lizzy bit her lip as it hurt.
"Well in case he didn't mention it I'm the brainy one," she told her.
"Yeah, and I'm the good looking one," said Dickie standing next to his sister.
Lucy laughed making her cough and blood trickled from her mouth. Lizzy pulled her sleeve down on her top and used it to dab away the blood.
"Hey, take it easy," said Dickie putting a hand on her shoulder. "We need you to get better so you can tell us what Dad has been saying about us."
Elliot watched his kids as they tried to calm Lucy down.
"Here Sir," said Luke handing Elliot the large needle and tube of blood.
"You two might want to leave now," he told them. "In fact you might all want to leave the room."
"No way," said Maureen. "We are staying."
Lucy screamed out her body arching off the table.
"Shit," said Elliot glaring at his kids knowing he had to do it and stop wasting time.
"Elliot just do it," said Olivia.
Elliot looked back at his kids before lifting the needle and plunging it into his chest yelling out in pain as the needle punctured his heart and he injected the blood straight in.
"Dad," screamed Kathleen running forward. Olivia put an arm out to stop her.
"Don't," she told her. "It's the only way he can help."
"What by stabbing himself in the fucking heart!"
"Yes," Olivia told her.
Elliot dropped the needle to the floor and his head dropped forward as the blood rushed into his heart. "Fuck," he sighed as he felt his body relax.
Olivia stood beside him and put her hand on his shoulder. "You okay?" she asked him. He nodded but kept his head down resting against the table.
Lucy's body jerked on the table.
"Guardian, she needs you now," said Luke.
"What's happening yelled Arnie from the table just before Melinda gave him injection of her own to knock him out.
Elliot raised his head slowly and heard Lizzy gasp.
"Oh boy," said Dickie as Elliot looked over to them his eyes read and his fangs showing. He took a deep breath and looked down at Lucy.
"Elliot," she said weakly and quietly. "Help me."
"It's okay," he told her. "You're gonna be okay," he said lifting her up and helping her sit on the table. "I need you to feed from me," he told her. "My blood will help you."
"She needs to what?" asked Kathleen.
"You dad blood is strong, especially with the Elders blood he now has in him. It will help her heal," explained Olivia.
"I'm too tired," Lucy told Elliot. "Just need to sleep," she said closing her eyes.
"No you don't!" snapped Elliot. "Now drink my blood." She went limp in is arms. "Fuck! Somebody cut my neck she needs to smell the blood."
Olivia grabbed the needle off the floor and stabbed it in his neck without even thinking about what she was doing. Elliot lifted Lucy to his neck and heard her sniff.
"That's it," he said as he felt her tongue lick the blood from the puncture wounds then her teeth sink into his flesh and she began to drink.
His kids stood and watched as Elliot held her to his neck and she sucked their father's blood into her mouth. Lucy's eyes opened and her bright red eyes stared at Lizzy and Dickie. Lizzy reached down and took hold of Dickies hand.
Elliot looked at Luke "Take her from me, she has had enough."
Luke stepped forward and helped pull her from Elliot's neck. She tried to reach and grab Elliot but Luke held her down on the table.
"You okay?" Olivia asked him taking hold of his hand.
"Yeah," he said his eyes piercing into her. She could tell he was trying hard to control his emotions, as he always did after injecting the blood from the elders.
"Just try and relax," she told him cupping his face.
He took some deep breaths and stared into her eyes as she stared back.
"You're doing great," she told him. He nodded and leant forward.
"I want to fuck you so bad," he whispered.
"Jesus El," she said to him as she looked at Luke and saw him smile. "Stop smirking bat ears," she whispered and Luke quickly looked away and went over to check on Arnie.
Lucy opened her eyes and Lizzy took hold of her hand again. "Hey, how you feeling?" she asked her.
"Better," she told her. "Just really tired.
"Hey guys," said Dickie. "Look at her wounds."
The kids all gathered round the table and looked down at Lucy's body. The wounds were beginning to close up.
"Wow," said Kathleen. "What the hell is in Dads blood?" she asked as they all looked at Elliot and Olivia as they stood facing each other their heads touching.
"Dad….. Dad!" said Maureen trying to get his attention. "Her wounds are healing."
"Yeah," he said not taking his eyes from Olivia's.
Luke shook his head and stepped forward to the table. "Let's get you comfortable," he said to her as he picked her up and carried her over to Arnie who was asleep on the couch after the sedative Melinda had gave him so she could fix him up. He lay her down next to him. "Get some rest," he told her.
Lucy nodded and cuddled up to her Grandad closing her eyes.
"Joseph, go and feed, rest for a while," said Luke. "I need to go and close up the club."
Joseph nodded and left the room,
"You feeling okay?" Olivia asked Elliot running her fingers lightly over the back of his neck.
"Just a little tired and turned on," he said giving her a small smile.
"Do you need something to drink?" she asked him.
He nodded and Olivia pulled her collar away from her neck.
"No," he said shaking his head. "From the fridge, I already fed from you tonight."
"Okay," she said to him. "Sit down and I will get it for you."
Elliot sat down at the table and rubbed his face as the kids sat down around him.
"You okay Dad?" asked Maureen.
"Yeah….. You lot okay after seeing all that."
"Not gonna lie, I'm a little freaked out," said Kathleen. "She is just a little kid, Dad," she said looking over at Lucy who was sleeping. Melinda checked Arnies pulse before joining Olivia in the kitchen.
"It takes a while to get your head around. I have Vampires coming into the club who look ten but are actually 200 years old. My Master the one who is on her way was only 14 when she was turned she is now over 500 years old. It takes a while for you to realise not everything is how it seems. She may seem small and sweet but she is strong and wise."
Olivia came over and sat down next to Elliot with a large cup of blood. "Thanks," he smiled taking it from her and drinking it slowly.
Kathleen wrinkled her nose up. "That is so gross dad," she told him.
"Your telling me," he said pulling a face. "Sheep's blood isn't one of my favourites."
"Yeah well there isn't much more left in there and as I can't help you just now your stuck with it," Olivia told him as Melinda came over.
"How is Arnie doing?" he asked her.
"He will be okay. He is going to sleep for a while and be a little sore. I'm going to see the others and let them know what is happening."
"Are you all sure your okay?" he asked everyone. "I know it must have been a shock to see me after I injected that blood what with my eyes and my teeth."
"A little," said Maureen. "But what you done for Lucy was amazing. Will she be okay now?"
"She should be."
He saw Lizzy yawning which set off Dickie and smiled. "I think it's time we all got some rest," he said finishing off the blood and standing up. "It's been a long night and you have all had a lot to take in and think about. Time for some sleep… Liv can you show them to the room next to Cragen and John's, it has a double, single and a couch in there."
"Three guesses who will be on the couch," sighed Dickie.
"Sorry kiddo," smiled Elliot.
"Where are you going?" she asked him as everyone stood and she faced him.
"I just want to check in with Luke and make sure everything is secure."
"Well don't be too long," she said kissing his lips softly.
"I won't be," he smiled, running his fingers through her hair and pulling her in for another kiss.
Dickie looked over at his sisters smirking as Elliot kissed Olivia.
"Ahem," said Kathleen loudly. "We have seen enough gross things tonight we don't need any more."
"I will come and check on you guys once you are settled," he told them.
Maureen stepped forward and hugged him. "I love you Dad," she told him as the other kids joined in hugging him altogether.
"I love you all as well," he said kissing the top of each of their heads. "Now go to bed and get some rest," he told them.

"Everything okay up here," Elliot asked Luke walking across the deserted club dance floor.
"People are scared," he told Elliot. "I had a few people coming to me tonight saying their partners or people they know and live with have gone missing. It has to be either Sirus or the FBI."
"Well if it is the FBI then Dana knows nothing about it. She came back here with John tonight she is as scared as everyone else."
"What we going to do Elliot? Innocent humans are getting hurt and killed."
Elliot sighed and reached up to the top shelf and took down the bottle of tequila and took a large drink.
"We need to leave the city," he told Luke. "Go to the lodge up North and make sure Sirus knows so he follows us leaving the city. I will leave the Chancellors here. They can then hunt down and shut down any coven left in New York, and destroy Sirus's hide out. Once up in the wilderness and away from humans we will wait for him to come to us and we will rip him and his men apart."
"What about Miss Benson, your kids and friends are they coming with us?"
Elliot raised his head and gave a little smile. "I have a feeling that no matter what I say, they will say they are coming with me, and to be honest with you, I would be prefer that. They are safer with me I and I can protect them."
"When do you want to leave?"
"Well the chancellors arrive tomorrow and the Master should arrive in the next couple of days. So I guess the weekend. Get a group of men assembled and send them up to the lodge with Joseph to make sure it is secure."
Elliot handed the tequila bottle to Luke who took a large drink.
"Guardian you do know we could lose a lot of men in this fight."
Elliot nodded. "I know but this needs to end. How many more innocent people have to die because of one fucked up pissed off Vampire."

Elliot carefully opened the bedroom door to the room where his kids were sleeping. After speaking with Luke he had come back down and taken a shower washing away all traces of blood from the fight earlier and Lucy. He then checked in on Lucy and Arnie.
Lucy had been awake and was still lying in her granddads arms.
"Hey," whispered Elliot crouching down next to the couch. "How you feeling?"
"I'm good," she had smiled. "Grand pop seems okay as well."
"That's good," he said as she slowly sat up and pulled her knees to her chest.
"I was so scared to night Elliot," she told him.
"I know sweetheart."
"Not for me, but for Grand pops. I thought they were going to kill him and the would have if I hadn't been there."
"Yeah they would," he said smiling at her. "You were so brave and strong."
Lucy nodded and but her lip. "You know after I was first turned I hated it. I hated myself and everyone else. I missed my mom and Grand pops. But then you turned up. And Grand pops was with you and suddenly life was okay again. The last three years living up in the mountains with him have been great. He made me feel like I was a normal kid again, it felt so good. But I would sometimes get angry when I would over think things and realise I wasn't normal and I never would be again. I would always be this freak."
Elliot reached up and wiped the sparkling tears from her face as she talked.
"But tonight," she said. "Tonight I was glad I was a freak. If I hadn't been I couldn't have saved Grand pops. Those evil men would have killed him because of what he done in the town when he helped you. But they didn't because I stopped them and saved him. Tonight was the first time I was thankful for being what I am."
Elliot leant forward and kissed her head. "I'm glad you are what you are as well," he smiled. "Now get some rest. There is blood in the fridge if you need any," he said standing up.
"Night Elliot," she said as she lay back down with Arnie.
"Night princess," he said leaving the room.
He walked quietly into the room towards the double bed and leant down kissing Maureen's head before walking around the other side. He pulled the blanket up over Lizzy before kissing her as well.
"Everything okay?" asked Kathleen from the single bed as he got close.
"Everything is fine, for now," he smiled. "Now get some sleep," he said kissing her cheek.
"I love you dad," she said as he bent over and kissed Dickies forehead.
"I love you all as well," he said turning around to face her from the door.
"Dad," she said stopping him. "I would rather have you back like this than never see you again," she told him.
"What even if it means you will ever have a boyfriend again," he smiled.
"Yeah well we need to lay some ground rules down about that," she grinned. "Night dad," she said pulling the blankets up over her head and closing her eyes.
"Night Baby," he said closing the door.

Elliot quietly undressed and slipped under the sheets moving behind Olivia and resting his hand on her bare hip.
"Thought you were never coming to bed," she said quietly. "All the kids asleep?"
"Yeah," he said kissing her shoulder blade as he slipped his hand down over her hip and over her but cheek.
"How you feeling?"
"Never better," he said slipping his hand between her legs as his mouth went to her neck and he suckled gently as he slipped a finger between her folds making her moan. "I love how wet you are," he breathed against her neck as he gently rubbed her clit.
"That feels so good," she mumbled into the pillow and felt his erection pushing against her ass cheeks.
She shuffled around so she was facing him, her head lying on the pillow next to his, their bodies inches apart. Elliot ran his fingers down over her body lightly skimming her breasts and stomach as he glided down to her pussy and slipped two fingers back between her wet warm folds.
She raised her leg slightly giving him better access as her own hand slipped down and took hold of his hard cock. She ran her thumb over the tip and through the pre cum before she started to slowly move her hand up and down his very hard shaft.
They moved their heads forwards kissing each other softly their tongues seeking each other out as they slowly pleasured each other with their hands.
Without any words and without breaking the kiss Olivia raised her leg higher and guided Elliot's cock to her hot opening.
Elliot smiled against her lips as his pushed the tip of his cock just inside her feeling her warmth and wetness. She moved her hips towards him and he pushed himself into her fully her velvet walls tight around him.
He rolled onto his back taking her with him and she raised up onto her knees slightly and began to move slightly up and down him. Their mouths never breaking once form the kiss.
Elliot pushed up into her and she moaned into his mouth as she circled her hips and tensed her inner walls gripping him hard as their bodies moved as one.
She felt every inch of him as she slid up and down him and he filled her fully as they slowly and gently made love. SO different to the sex they had earlier.
Without any words or noise her body began to tremble as she came her body convulsing and her pussy gripping him hard. She felt him thrust three more times into her before he jerked once more and spilled inside her as he gripped her ass cheeks pulling her to him.
They slowly came down form their release and Olivia kissed him once more before lying down and resting her head in the crook of his neck, his cock still buried deep inside her as he ran his cold fingers lightly over her sweat covered back.
"I love you so much," he whispered his voice deep and husky.
"I love you to," she breathed into his neck.
Neither of them made any attempt to move as they lay with Elliot still buried deep inside her as he held her tightly to him and he listened to her breathing even out as she fell asleep. He looked over at the clock. It was almost 7 am. The sun would be rising soon and he knew at least for those few hours when the sun was in the sky the people he loved would be safe.
Time for a bit action again in the next chapter I reckon as they all get ready to leave for the lodge.
