Kairi was distracted throughout her classes in the next few days, she stashed her mother's cell phone in her pocket and lied to her mother that she didn't know where her cell phone was. Every now and again she felt her pocket vibrate. He wouldn't stop calling, he wouldn't give up. Kairi knew that and she couldn't just ignore him.

School was over faster than Kairi expected and she was late for her club. She collected her things and rushed to the Music Room 3 but she felt her phone vibrate once again. She stepped on her breaks and pulled out the phone, she read the same number on the bright screen. Kairi sighed…she had to answer it. She looked all around her, she was alone. Kairi stood next to the window and pressed the call button. She took a deep breath and pressed the phone to her ear.

"What are you doing calling my mother?"

There was a moment of silence on the phone before he spoke. "Hello Kairi."

"Why are you calling?"

"I just want to…catch up as they say. Is your mother there?"

"My mother isn't here right now."

"Where is she?"

Kairi thought of it for a second. "She's…at work with my father."

"You're 'father'?"

"Yes, my father."

"I see." There was a pause on the other side of the phone, Kairi was getting impatient. She seriously didn't want to hear her voice. She loosened up her tie around her neck and scratched her head.

"If that's all you want to hear, I have to g"-

"Kairi wait. I am in Japan for a business trip, I wanted to know if there's any way I could meet you and your mother over dinner?" Kairi didn't answer. "Just the three of us, I really do want us to get together once again."

Kairi sighed and leaned her head against the glass window, she was cursing so loud in her head and her heart was beating against her chest. "Alright, but my mother is busy so I'll meet you at dinner. I'll text you the location."

"Thank you Kairi, I appri"-

"I have to go. Bye." Kairi pulled back the phone and pressed the button to hang up.

"Who were you talking to?" Kairi jumped and turned around to see Hikaru standing behind her. She hid the phone in her back pocket before Hikaru could see.

"Oh I was talking to my mom. She just…wanted to go out for dinner with my dad and me."

Hikaru gave her a look, he didn't believe her but he didn't let it show. "I was looking for you, the club already started and Kyoya is pissed off."

"I'm sorry, let's go then."

Hikaru and Kairi journeyed to Music Room 3; it was rather quiet between the two of them. Every few seconds Kairi would take out her mother's cell phone and her thumb would dance across the glass screen before putting it back in her pocket.

The music room was full of giggling girls and chatty hosts, technically it was just another day at the fabulous host club. But still Hikaru wouldn't let go of what Kairi was hiding from him.

"Oh Hikaru-kun, were you able to pass your French test?" One of the girls asked.

"I heard it was very hard, even I had trouble reading it." Another stated.

"Oh it was quite easy, my princesses." Hikaru commented but then turned to Kairi, who as usually sat next to him, and leaned in closer to her. "It was because I had a great tutor."

"It had nothing to do with me, Hikaru." She cooed. "It was all you, I told you all you need to do is study hard enough and you'll pass with flying colors. But I do appreciate the compliment."

"Oh but it was more than that." Hikaru hovered over her, the girls as usual were at the end of their seats with red blushing faces and huddled together. "I specifically remember you telling me…that you would give me a little 'treat' if I pass the test. Of course, that was my motivation." He extended his index finger on her neck and trailed downward on her chest, in between her strapped down breast, on her stomach and trailed back up on the same route, his eyes never left hers.

Kairi blushed and she thought to herself; "I swear, if he keeps getting better at this there is a chance I will give him that treat."

"Hi-Hikaru, here? Now?" She asked nervously. "We…We can't."

"Why not here? Why not now?" He mocked her as he slightly leaned her down on the couch so he can be in a more dominant position. The girls squealed with excitement, begging them to tell them what was promised.

"But Hikaru, what I said…was silly. You're embarrassing me in front of the princesses." She looked away from Hikaru, as usual on cue. With one hand, he lifted her chin to bring it closer to his face and his other was pressed at the edge of the couch cushion, but the cushion didn't want to support his weight and his hand slipped through bringing him down on Kairi's body. He quickly tried to get up but his weight was thrown off the edge and he fell off of the couch. His arm grabbed the first thing it could which was Kairi's jacket, forcing her to fall off with him. Her shoulder hit the edge of the table, knocking it over so the tea and snacks spilled on her back with the table next to them. The girls quickly stood and screamed in panic, trying to understand what happened.

Kairi was pressed on Hikaru's body, their faces were incredibly close and their eyes were locked. Hikaru felt Kairi stiff up but she still didn't move, suddenly everything around them was silent. They couldn't even hear their own breath, just what was this. Little did Kairi notice, Hikaru leaned in closer to her and gently brushed his lips against hers. Kairi didn't stop him nor did she mind, before he could do it again she was pulled off by the worried host members.

"Are you two alright?" Tamaki asked, along with Takashi they pulled Kairi off. Kyoya helped pick up Hikaru to his feet.

"Ye-yeah, we're fine." Said Hikaru. "Just lost my grip that's all."

"Are you sure you aren't losing your touch?" Kairi joked.

The girls sighed with relief, their favorite hosts were alright. Thank god! They quickly changed into their spare uniforms in the back before returning to their princesses. Kairi took off her dirty clothes and placed them on the table and went behind the curtain to change. Hikaru used this chance to take her cell phone from her dirty slacks and read what she sent to this stranger.

Stephanie (15:23pm): We'll meet at the Shinju Café on Gaien and Watari street, at 20:00.

555-3923 (15:25pm): Will your mother be joining us?

Stephanie (15:26pm): No

555-3923 (15:29pm): At 20:00 then…

Just who the hell was this person? And why did she have her mother's phone? Kairi was hiding something from him again…not this time. Hikaru quickly memorized the location and the time before stuffing it back into her dirty pocket as he heard Kairi pull back the curtains. She smiled at him;

"Ready to go back?"

"Yeah…Just waiting for you."

"Your wait is over." Kairi went to him and quickly folded her clothes next to her bag. "Let's g"- Hikaru quickly grabbed Kairi's shoulder and turned her around, before Kairi could react, he gently placed his lips on hers and Kairi gladly kissed him back. For a moment, she enjoyed his sweet lips whose were just as soft as Kyoya's. She came back to reality and placed her hand on his chest to stop him. "Wait Hikaru…what about Haruhi?"

"What about her?"

"You like her don't you? I thought"-

"I don't like Haruhi anymore. I want you." Hikaru leaned his forehead against hers. "I want to protect you, Kairi."

"Thank you…Hikaru."

From the doors, Kyoya saw through the cracked open door. He saw everything as his hand gripped on the doorknob and slowly closed the door.

Kairi sat down with her cup of freshly brewed tea at a small table on the side of the café. It was a rainy night that night, few cars were speeding by while a few people walked under umbrellas or running with suitcases over their heads to protect them from the pouring rain. Kairi oddly felt a little warm in the café, she took off her black coat to hang on the back of the chair with her purse. She wore a red silk strapless dress with gold beads decorated around her chest with a black long sleeve angelic shrug; a Hitachin original…thank you Hikaru. She gently brushed her extensions that was over her shoulder and looked at the clock on her wrists. It was 20:15pm. Then she heard a familiar voice speaking in English behind her.

"Sorry I'm late, traffic was terrible coming here."

She turned around in her seat and looked up to the familiar man she wished would die of a stroke. She spoke in return in his language. "It's ok…dad."
