A.N: Updating early for reasons, but you get to read the chapter earlier too!

Shelia13: Well, my actions are not intended for evil, but it always ends up that way, whoops.

Beawolf's Pen: YEah, Hal better think of something better. LOL, considering that Razer had to deal with Hal and Mary, he'll think any human is deadly at this point.

Revelations part 2

Killowag got back to the village a little while later but instead of seeing the peaceful clearing full of huts, villagers were out and running around, trying to heal some who were wounded. Some of the dome huts had been destroyed into splinters and children were hugging their mothers, huddling with them on the floor for protection. The men had their spears out and yelling at each other, pointing at the sky and other directions. Killowag ran to them and asked, "What happened?"

The villager man he had talked to earlier, the leader, saw Killowag and his cat like ears went up in sight of the Bullivaxion. "Green Lantern. Thank goodness you have come back. We were attacked a few moments after you had left."

"The people who were hurt, how did it happen?"

The leader's tail swished back and forth as he spoke, "A white flying contraption flew in like a bird, and it sailed over our village and began to spew yellow fire at us, some directly at the houses. Our healer is taking care of those who were hurt worse than us, thankfully no one was killed. But we worry it will happen again."

"The flying contraption, what did it look like?"

"It was what many outsiders call a ship, something we aren't familiar in using. This one, however, was unlike anything I had seen." The leader took his staff and using the butt end of it to draw something on the floor. It was a circle with a thin tail and wings. Before Killowag could question the man's drawing skills, he suddenly had an image of the Interceptor go through his mind as he connected the picture. There was no way that it had to be the missing ship, but he had to ask, "Are you sure that is how it looked, with green and a long front window?

"It wasn't green, it was yellow, like the fire it shot at us. We only hope to never see it again though."

"We won't if we go out and find it first." Said one person.

"No." The leader insisted. "I will not risk anyone's life to something we do not have much information of as of yet."

"But I think I do." Killowag stated.

The group of men looked at him with relief and the leader asked him, "If you know of it, do you know how to stop it?"

"Yes, but I would do as you a have said; not go out and try to find this thing. If it is what I think it is, which I hope it really isn't, then I advice your people to move deeper into the jungle to hide until it is save."

"Perhaps it is time for us to migrate again." The leader suggested. "When do you think it will be safe again to be in the open."

"Not for a long time. I'll send word when it's been detained. For now, I have some news to bring to friends."

Hal was in the library, going through some books on the history of the Guardians. He was hoping to find something, like a clue, that the others who had already done this may have missed. But there had been nothing.

Suddenly, someone came up from behind him and said, "Enjoying some wee hours, reading, Hal Jordan." The said person Hal looked back to see was Appa flouting by him. Hal said to him, "I'm hoping to find something that may be useful."

"I think doing something that has already been done is a waste of time."

"Then what do you suggest, you haven't been much help, anyway."

"I'd watch your tone, Green Lantern." Hal didn't do anything but look back down at the book he was looking at. There was an illustration of a foot army marching to what looked like a structure made out of crystals. There was a question he had been meaning to ask. "Tell me, what exactly did Parallax want to do?"

Appa didn't answer at first, but then he said, "His intention was to build an army, a sublevel group that could be a backup if the Green Lanterns were to fail."

"Like the Manhunters."

"Not exactly. Our reason for the Manhunters was before we decided to use sentient beings to make up the corps. A thousand years later after we discharged the Manhunters and established the corp, Parallax saw the importance of using will and sought out to find more power like it. He discovered the power of fear and made a weapon prototype that can channel it. He explained if we distributed it to most of the corp, they would have two ways to beat their opponent. But the whole council decided that to introduce something as new and unpredictable would be dangerous and we dismissed it. A long while later Parallax gathered a few loyalist and powered them with the weapon, ordering them to kill us since we had been so resentful of his plan. They were defeated though, and in turn Parallax was banished."

Hal summed it up in his head; So the guy wanted to create a better army but the Guardians said he couldn't so he went after them for revenge but ended up getting banished. "We have a being that powers our battery." Hal stated. Appa stiffened. Hal and his crew learned from the old science director who said she was able to create Aya using an essence of life from the battery. Only a few know that there was something living in there, Appa knew that the crew knew. Yet the mention of such thing was rare and surprising for him. Hal continued, "Did Parallax use such a power for his own little army?"

"No, and in all honesty we do not know exactly what he used. Parallax only told us he found an item probably stronger then will that can make us more powerful. There was nothing else."

"So the word powerful scared you."

"We are the Guardian's Jordan, we aren't capable of fear."

"I can conquer."

"I did not come here for you to make fun, 2814."

"Oh yeah, why did you come then?"

"Our new science director has told us that he recently went through some old blue prints of ships and mechanisms we have previously created. We're missing one."

"Which one is that one?"

"The Interceptor."

Hal's hand turned into a fist and he held back the need to yell. Suddenly, "Jordan!" came a gruff shout. Appa and Hal looked and saw Killowag flying in to the Library and saying, "You're not going to believe this."

"I'm not going to believe you've been out scouting again?" Hal asked sarcastically, "The Guardians said all Lanterns are to remain low key until we bag Sinestro, may I remind you."

"I don't think that is how I put it, Hal Jordan." Appa told him. "But Sergeant, you know your orders."

"I know, but really it isn't the first time I've done this."

Appa looked at Hal to see if he knew. The human GL rubbed the back of his neck and said, "Ok, that I knew."

Killowag went right out and said, "I was in a neighboring sector when a village was attacked by what they thought was the interceptor."

Hal blinked, "Wait-wait? In details."

"My ring said there was trouble so when I got there half the village was destroyed. The people drew out what they saw attacked them and it looked exactly like our ship."

"That would explain why the Interceptor blue prints are missing." Hal said, looking at Appa.

Killowag asked, "The blue prints are missing?"

Appa said to Hal, "I said the blue prints were missing but not stolen."

"And how is that belief working in your favor for you?" Hal asked.

"We have the best security in the system. Not even a Green Lantern can go to the hangers without permission."

"Well I managed to break in like two years ago."

"Because that is you, 2814."

"Ow." Killowag commented.

Hal ignored it and asked him, "You sure it could be an Interceptor."

"Positive."

"Then we go out in search for it. Get Mary."

"You advised me, Hal Jordan," Appa began, "That all Green Lanterns should stay on Oa or their respective sectors."

"It will just be us three." Hal said.

"As a member of the Council I must say you must stay here. Due to the fact that you never listen to me…. I wish you luck." Appa flew away from Hal's side, past Killowag.

When the Guardian had gone, Killowag asked Hal, "Um, did we just get permission to go out and find this other Interceptor?"

"I think we did." Hal answered. "You saw this Interceptor copy, right?"

"Only in description."

"What did they see when it attacked?"

"A flying contraption spewing yellow fire."

"Yellow?"

"Yellow." Killowag finished. Hal seemed to ponder at this, and somehow Killowag knew what he was thinking. "You don't think that this thing is related to Sinestro using oram, do you?"

"Sinestro has a way of getting into places better than I can, so he could have gone into the garage, stole the blue prints, created the ship, and powered it with Oram."

"But in a span of a few weeks? That's impossible, how did he do it?"

"We won't know until we ask him."

"We're really going out to find the ship."

"It's our only clue. Besides, we need to find him anyway and take him down soon. Like you, some of the Green Lanterns are getting restless and want to fly out of Oa. They all want to find Sinestro."

"I'm not restless, and I wasn't looking for Sinestro."

"Oh, I know." Hal said walking out to the exit.

"What do you know?"

Hal looked back but continued walking backwards, saying back to Killowag, "I know that it's been a year since Razer had left and now it's getting to the point where you're desperate to find him." Hal turned back around and walked out of the library.

Killowag put a finger up and began to argue, "I-you don't- that's not…" Then Killowag put his hand down and shook his head. He marched to the exit and said, "How does he do it?"

A.N: He just know, Killowag. So the village was attacked by and Interceptor? The blue prints are missing and it all leads to Sinestro. Ga'Hoole reference in the beginning of Hal and Appa's talk, which was actually pretty informative, the crew comes together with a few more to search for the culprits. I'm KikaKatTIOI, peace out!
