Next Morning
"Hey, Faith," Leo's voice sounds sleepily from behind me, "What are you doing up so early?"
Turning and facing the leader, I hear my stomach growl. "I'm hungry, Leo. Besides, I can't sleep while my stomach's calling out for food, now can I?" A smile crosses my face and I get some pancakes, eating to my stomach's content. "And I'm not tired anymore."
"It's only 2 in the morning! How can you not be tired anymore?"
I shrug and wash my dishes. "I'm just not tired. Since the pain vanished, I haven't been tired." Even though I'm not tired anymore, I sneak back into Raph's room and go back to his side. I don't know what happened that the scars, pain, and wounds disappeared.
"Hey, baby," Raph says from behind me, stretching and sitting up. "When did you wake up?"
"Not too long ago," I reply, smiling at him.
"Why didn't you wake me when you got up?"
"I don't know, honey. I just thought I'd let you sleep. Oh, and the pain, scars, and wounds are all gone." Leaning against the red-masked turtle, I can't help but smile.
"That's great! Why wouldn't you tell me sooner, or wake me?" Raph's lips meet mine, his arms going around my waist and my arms going around his neck.
"I didn't want to wake you because you seemed so peaceful," I answer, keeping my face inches from his, "and I didn't want to wake a peaceful turtle." A smile crosses my face, my lips meeting his nose.
"You missed," Raph comments, his hands cupping my face and pulling my face toward him, his lips meeting mine.
"Who wants to play a game," Mikey's voice echoes, alerting me that he's up, "It's called Seven Minutes in Heaven!"
I don't want to, Mikey! Don't ruin this moment, I think to myself, slightly tightening my grip around his neck.
"Want to go on patrol," Raph asks, pulling away from the kiss.
"I would be honored," I reply, getting up and waiting until Raph's done stretching before heading to the entrance of the lair.
"Hopefully nobody hurts either of us," I say, hopping from rooftop to rooftop. "I'm getting sick and tired of getting hurt…. And seeing any of my friends hurt."
"I'm tired of it, too," Raph agrees, keeping his hands near his Sais' handles. "I think we have company, Raph… and probably not the welcoming committee." Suddenly, Fishface and Dogpound appear, the mutant dog coming after me and Fishface targeting Raph.
"Well, well well," Dogpound says, growling and sneering, "what do we have here? A little prissy princess; Why, I bet Master Shredder will be glad to have you back.
Fire enters my eyes and I draw my sai, pinning him to the wall. "How DARE you mention his name in front of me?" I look to Raph, seeing him pinned by Fishface. Instead of keeping Dogpound pinned, I kick Fishface off Raph. "Leave him alone, Victim. I should bite your legs and breathing thing off so you are forced to stay in water!"
