POSSIBLE DEATH EATER ATTACK – ARE THE DARK TIMES RETURNING?

Early Monday morning a disturbance was called in from Bradford, North England. A recently married couple were found dead in their homes by an elderly neighbour who was worried when the young couple didn't turn up for their weekly dinner. The young couple bore no sign of struggle suggesting to Aurors that it was, in fact, the killing curse. This has led to many whispers and rumours suggesting, perhaps rightly, that the dark times may be returning. We have yet to hear comment from the famous 'Chosen One' himself, Harry Potter, who our sources report is heading the man hunt to track down the killer.

"Chosen one… man hunts… what a load of rubbish." Harry said to himself as he threw the paper down onto the breakfast bar. Ginny looked up at him curiously before grabbing the paper and reading it for herself,

"I see you're still the chosen one then," She folded the paper and placed it in the bin knowing that Harry wouldn't need it anymore, "Rita I presume?"

"Little cow. Who does she think she is?! Going around making assumptions on what we thought it could be! No fact to her writing at all." Ginny smirked at her husband before getting up and moving to behind him so she was able to wrap his arms around his neck. She pressed her lips to his neck softly, and after feeling him move his head slightly to the side she smiled against him.

She mumbled into his skin, "Was it the killing curse?"

"Well yeah but still, Rita's a big fat snoop." Harry swiftly got up from the chair, picking Ginny up in his arms before quickly switching them again and setting her down on the table. He stood between her legs.

"You hate when she's actually right on the money don't you," Ginny said with a small seductive smile, "You just loathe it when she's right." Harry practically growled at her before smashing his lips down onto hers. He felt the shiver as she moaned and melted into him.

Ginny began to speed up the kiss but before her hands could get anywhere near Harry's trousers, he pulled away winking at her.

"I have to go or I'm going to be late but we can continue this when I get home if you like." Harry smirked.

Ginny pulled his lips towards hers, "Oh we will defiantly be finishing this off later."

Harry smiled again before pecking her on the lips again and stepping out from between her legs, though she remained on the table while he ran around the kitchen getting his bag and traveling robes together. One more kiss goodbye and Harry raced out the door, not wanting to be late to work.

The Auror Office was in shambles. The people of the wizarding world were in panic, the tabloids weren't helping anything and all the pressure was being placed on Harry's shoulders. Everyone expected him to save the day.

"Harry, mate it's been weeks. There isn't anything there. That case is totally and completely dead." Ron was leaning on the door frame watching Harry as his eyes pored over the files laid out in front of him.

"No. I'm missing something, I can just feel it! There is something else here. You don't understand Ron, everyone just expects me to save them and I don't know what else to do. How do I save people if I don't even know what's hurting them?" Harry asked his brother-in-law looking up and meeting his eyes with frustration.

"You can't. You just have to do your job and hope that that's what will save them all." Ron told him, walking further into the office and taking a seat. They sat in silence as Harry continued to look over his notes and Ron sat searching through his wallet for nothing. It wasn't until just before lunch that a young intern ran into the office.

"Excuse me sir, the Minister would like to see you in his office. He says it's important." Harry and Ron shared a look for a mere second before they jumped into action and exited the office. Ey busted into Kinsley's office minutes later.

"Ah good. Boys, listen, we have a major problem," Harry and Ron shared a look of knowing. Kinsley was about to send them on field work, for god knows how long, "There's been some disturbance at Azkaban. I want you two go out there to have a look, today." Kinsley gave the both a file each both waving them out.

"Great." Harry said his voice dripping with sarcasm. Ron chuckled at his friend.

"Well, it will be kind of interesting to see what they have done to it after the Dementors left," Ron offered trying to make his friend see it differently, "What are you gunna tell Ginny?"

Harry looked sideways at his friend frowning slightly, "I'm not." He walked ahead of his friend, leaving Ron with a baffled look on his face. It was seconds before Ron caught up with Harry in the elevator.

The building stood tall on the small island. The waves crashed against the rocks that lined the shore. This island was not one of those imaged; no sandy white beaches, no crystal clear waters, no palm trees. The island was dark. The clouds constantly rumbled and the air tasted heavily of salt. The two young aurors stood at the base of the building, one slightly shivering before stepping inside. The building, now under the power of wizards, was practically falling apart but still held the same amount of prisoners that it did all those years ago when under the authority of Dementors. Harry stood alone, one hand on the side of the building, his head bowed in respect. This was the place that Sirius had been for twelve years. It had been the place that had put that haunted look in his eyes. It was the place that held his screams, his worst nightmares, and his complete insanity. Harry couldn't help but feel close to his godfather here. He had avoided visiting since the war was over. He didn't want such a place to be connected with his memories of his godfather but unfortunately it was. There weren't many places that Harry felt closer to him and he hated that this was one of them, but in a way, he was glad.

As Harry's eyes closed, he heard the dog-bark laughter, the cheekiness of his comments to McGonagall, and the happiness that flashed in his eyes when he talked of Harry's parents. Harry could feel Sirius in every part of the building, the recklessness, the foolishness, the total disrespect for the rules. He was everything that this building represented. He was the nightmares, the screams, the old memories being dug up, he was the villain but he wasn't. Harry reminded himself that though Azkaban was where Sirius was for twelve long years, it didn't define him as a person. It showed his insanity but never took away his motivation. It gave him nightmares, but he used them as a reason to keep going. Sirius was innocent. Harry shook his head, moving his hand from the wall. People would think he was crazy if they ever knew about the connection that he made with this place and Sirius.

"Excuse me sir?" Harry looked at the guard, "Somebody is ready to take you up."

"Thank you. Let's go." Ron gave Harry a meaningful look as they started to ascend the stairs to the top most level of the wizard prison.

As they reached the top the guard began to brief them, "They have all been talking in their sleep, saying random stuff about getting back and how it wasn't fair. No one did anything because it's normal for those locked up in here to go crazy. I didn't even care till this one kept going on and on about how he's still out there." The guard stopped at a cell. A name was written across the cell door. Selwyn. Harry cringed at the name. He was at the Lovegood house; he was one of those involved in torturing Luna's dad.

"Is he on a bathroom break or something?" Ron jokes looking into the cell not seeing anyone.

"He hasn't been in there for two days." Harry looked up.

"What?" Ron said sharply. Harry caught his eye looking at him.

"We came in two days ago and he was gone." Harry looked curiously at the guard waiting for him to explain, "He was just walking aimlessly around the island not even bothering to go into the water."

"I don't understand." Harry said simply.

"He hasn't left the island but it's like he wants to. He just sits there and looks out towards the ocean like he's waiting for something." Harry was trying to piece it all together. Trying to figure out how all of this tired into the murders, how did it fit?

"What has this got to do with all this murder business going on?" Harry asked.

"Maybe you would like to talk to him." The guard asked. Harry and Ron shared a look before traveling back to the entrance and out to find Selwyn sitting on rock staring into the darkness.

"I know why you're here Potter."

"Do you?"

"You want to know whether I have anything to do with those murders going on. To tell you the truth," He lowered his voice to a whisper; his eyes grew wider as his smirk showed his teeth, "I didn't do anything but I know who did it."
