Chapter 26: A Promise for a Reunion
Blair put a blanket on Black*Star before brushing his hair away from his eyes. She smiled before walking out of the room. As she close the door behind, she look at the clock that reads 12:15 "good thing I put the food away" she yawn before turning into a cat. She jump on the couch before laying down on the pillow.
She yawn before looking at the moon "I hope everything get better soon" she said before closing her eyes. While Blair sleeps, Jewel appeared from the shadow before going towards Coral's room. She open the door before going inside. She close the door silently before flying to Coral. Jewel stare at Coral for a few second before disappearing.
She reappeared inside Kid's room, next to his bed before staring at him. She frown before going to the Thompson room. She did the same over and over until she reach Black*Star's room. Jewel bend down to his face before frowning. As she stood up, she shook her head "their souls are in a very turmoil" she said before she smiled "but I definitely feel Pariah energy deep in their souls" she sigh.
Jewel turn into a red mass of energy before flying out of the room from the window. She turn her head to the house for a few minute before disappearing into thin air.
At 5:30 in the tropical rainforest, Iblis and his siblings are outside of the palace with Soul who is wearing his brown boots and gray sweater. Pandora yawn as she watch Soul fix the cloak on Zeus "tell me again why we had to wake up early"
"because it's a long flight to Nevada " Iblis answered. Hades look up at the sun slowly raise up in the sky.
"how long is the flight Iblis?" he asked before glancing at his brother.
"15 hours and 40 minutes"
Anzu yawn "dude I think people are still asleep in Nevada"
"no it's 9:30 am over there" Hera said.
"so its 15 hours of flight" Haos said.
Iblis nods "by the time we get there it will be dark"
"so let's teleport over there" Hera said.
Iblis sigh "we are it just we need to get out of the rainforest"
"then why the hell would you tell us the flight distance?" Anzu asked.
Zeus turn around to Anzu before speaking "cause he was fucking with you" Soul laugh while Anzu growl in slight anger.
"fuck you Zeus" he said. Soul laugh a bit louder as tears began to show in the corner of his eyes. His children stare at him in shock before they smiled in relief. Soul took a deep breath before he open his eyes.
"so you ready to leave?" he asked.
They nod before flying towards their mother and giving him a hug "we'll be back soon mom and this time with your friends" Iblis said. Soul nod as they pull away from the hug.
"be safe okay" he said before they nod. They smiled at their mother before flying up in the air. Soul wave to them as he see them off before they disappear from his sight of view. He yawn before going inside so he can go back to sleep.
Iblis, Zeus, Hades, Lucius, Jewel, Pandora, Hera, Ustanak, Anzu and Haos fly through the air as they gaze at forest from below them. Pandora smell the fresh air before sighing "the rainforest smells heavenly"
"yeah it sure does" Lucius said. Hera look at Anzu who had a angry look on his face "what's wrong bro?" Anzu glance at Hera before gazing down the forest.
"Iblis" Hera laugh as she threw her arm around her brother's neck.
"aw little brother still piss at big brother"
"fuck you Hera, he was a dick" Anzu yelled.
Okay before we get confuse, each Pariah are in a oldest to youngest group. 50 of them are in the oldest group while 40 of them are in the youngest group. But 10 of them of in the eldest group. The oldest are in the 200's, the youngest are in the 100's and the eldest are in the 300's. Haos is 355 years old, Hades is 352 years old, Iblis is 350 years old, Hera is 349 years, Zeus is 347 years old, Ustanak is 345 years old, Anzu is 344 years old, Pandora is 342 years, Lucius is 340 years old and Jewel is 339 years old.
Iblis glance at Anzu "and you're a dick for falling for it"
"fuck you Iblis" Anzu yelled making his siblings laugh. They flew through the sky until they're out of the rainforest. Once they are outskirt of the forest, they disappeared into thin air as they teleport to Death City.
"Wow Death City is amazing" Jewel awe.
"yeah it's nice" Lucius grin. The Pariah siblings are walking around Death City looking for their mother's friends and enjoying the view. They went to different places, ran around the park, play games with the humans and eat some delicious food. Iblis smiled at Jewel and Lucius before seeing an ice cream stand.
"anyone want some ice cream?" he asked.
"Ooh I do" Pandora said.
"me too" Hera said.
"we do" Ustanak and Anzu said in unison.
"yay ice cream" Jewel and Lucius smiled.
"sure" Hades, Haos and Zeus shrug in agreement. Iblis nod before they walked up to the women.
"excuse me" the lady looked up to see Iblis smiling at her before she gasp.
"omg you're Iblis" she said.
Iblis chuckled "you heard about us huh"
"yes and might I say, you guys are beautiful up close" the lady smiled.
Zeus stare at the women for a moment. She had long black wavy hair and blue-green eyes wearing a yellow shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and white apron around her hips "say lady what's your name?" he asked.
"Samantha" Samantha smiled.

"thank you" she blush. Anzu walked up to Samantha.
"say Samantha can we had some ice cream"
"sure what flavor" she smiled.
"Chocolate" Jewel and Lucius said.
"Vanilla" Hera said.
"Strawberry" Pandora said.
"Raspberry Ripple" Ustanak and Anzu grin.
"Neapolitan" Hades answered.
"Rocky Road" Zeus smirk.
"Chocolate Chip" Haos grin.
"Rainbow Sherbet" Iblis smiled. Samantha nod.
"okay ice cream coming right up" she took two ice cream scoop and waffle cones before scooping up the ice cream. She throw up the cones in the air before scooping up the ice cream and doing the same before they landed in the tray with their ice cream in the cones.
The pariah sibling stare in shock "how did you"
"it's a gift" Samantha giggles "here's your ice cream and that be $10" she said. Iblis nod before handing her $20 making her gasp in shock "you don't have to give me 20 bucks"
"no I do and besides you deserve it" Iblis smiled as Zeus take the tray from Samantha. They smiled at her before waving goodbye "by the way the academy is up ahead" Samantha said.
"thank you" they disappear into thin air while Samantha smiled before going back to work.
The pariah siblings look at the school in awe before they sense pariah energy from inside the academy. They open their eyes as Hera walked up to the door. She sigh before turning around to her siblings and spoke "okay I'm going in and once I do, you'll go to the school garden and wait for me there so we can leave" she said. Hades nod with the others.
"okay but be careful"
"I will" Hera open the door and smiled "later haters" she waved before disappearing from behind the door.
As the door close behind her, Hera look around the school before she sense the pariah energy again. She turn to the direction of the source and smiled as she saw the familiar figures from one of the classroom "bingo" she whispered. She tighten the cloak before walking to her objective. As she got closer, a bright light surrounded her before disappearing. Hera smile grows bigger as the energy got bigger and bigger.
"Do you understand class" Azusa said
"yes Miss Azusa" the students said in unison. Black*Star, Tsubaki, Liz, Patti, Coral, Kid and Maka are listening to their teacher's words. Last night every one of them slept wonderfully and they can feel their depression going away. Even though they still feel sad, they don't feel like they don't want to cry anymore. Maka continued to write notes in her book before she sense an eerie wavelength that sent shivers down her spine. She grab her arms and frown before she felt someone touching her shoulder. She looked up to see Coral who had an knowing look on her face.
"you felt it too huh?" she asked.
Maka nod "and I guess I'm not the only one huh?" Coral shook her head.
"me, you and Kid felt it and right now Kid telling the others" Maka nod again before another shiver went up her spine making her flinch in her seat.
"something is wrong" she said silently. Azusa turn back around to the class.
"now students" she was cut off when a knock on the door was heard causing everyone to stare at the door. Azusa frown slightly before walking towards it while Maka began to shiver as the wavelength grew stronger.
When Azusa open the door wide enough for everyone to see, she raise an eyebrow as she saw a girl wearing a white cloak and eating a vanilla ice cream without a care in the world. Everybody stare at the girl who continued to eat her ice cream before Azusa spoke "um...who are you?" the girl took a bite from her dessert and practically ignoring the women in front of her. Azusa frown at the girl who is sending off weird vibes making her feel uneasy. Azusa stare at the girl for a moment while unknowingly the girl's eyes are glancing at the kids. Black*Star flinch suddenly as he feel the girl's intense stare.
"Excuse me I ask you a question" Azusa said. The girl chuckled before she stop eating her ice cream. She smirk before lifting her head up causing everyone to gasp at her in awe. The girl had dark pink eyes, long dark blue hair with light blue bangs and pale skin. This girl is none other than Hera in her human disguise. She giggled cutely before speaking.
"hello ma'am sorry to disturb you but can you do me a favor?" Hera asked.
"like what?" Azusa asked in suspicion.
Hera smiles "you see I'm looking for Black*Star" Black*Star flinch in uneasiness "Maka" Maka shivers in displeasure "Coral" Coral gasp in shock "Death the Kid" Kid eyes widen in disbelief "Tsubaki" Tsubaki cover her mouth in fear "and Liz and Patti" Liz and Patti hold each other hands in horror "and I was hoping you see them" Hera said nicely. Azusa frown at Hera before she moved to her left to block the doorway.
"no I don't" she said. Hera smirk before eating her ice cream and swallowing it whole. She gulp it down easily before speaking again.
"you lying" she gaze through the women's glasses and smirk creepily "I can tell when someone is lying just by staring into their..." she crept closer to Azusa and whispered creepily "soul Azusa"
"how do you know" Azusa was cut short when Hera push right past her.
Hera looks around the room and smiled "nice room" she smile even brightly as she spotted her objective. Hera grin as she walked up the stairs before Azusa spoke
"excuse me we have a class"
"yeah yeah shut up hag" she stop in front of Black*Star who stare into her eyes as his eyes widen in shock

"hello" Hera smiles before grabbing him by the arm "the one I call come with me" she said as she walked to the door with the others following behind. She shove the women away from the door and wave goodbye as the kids walks out in the hallway "bye Azusa" she said before catching up to the kids.
Azusa stare in shock and disbelief before running to find Lord Death "this is not good" she thought as she keep running to the bathroom. All she had to do is contact Lord Death and tell him the news.
"Why are you taking us?" Kid asked.
"cause I can" Hera answered.
"why?" Liz asked.
"for personal reason" Hera answered. They continued to down the halls before they heard running footsteps.
"come on I knew I should've kick that women ass" Hera said before military appears in front of them.
Hera sigh as Sid appeared with Nygus "why are you here Hera?" Sid asked.
"cause I feel like it" Hera said in a funny voice. Coral giggled while Maka shook her head "so hi" Hera waved.
"let the kids go Hera" Nygus said. Hera smirk.
"nope" she use her magic to wrap the kids up in a rope "bye losers" she said before disappearing into thin air leaving them in shock.
Anzu, Ustanak, Pandora, Zeus, Jewel, Lucius, Haos, Hades and Iblis are in the school garden waiting for Hera. Anzu groans angrily "where is that bitch?"
"around the corner kicking your ass"

Coral look around to see cloaked figures. Anzu in dark red, Haos in dark purple, Zeus in yellow, Ustanak in black, Hades in cyan, Jewel in orange, Lucius in brown, Iblis in grey and Pandora in pink. Coral eyes widen along with the others as the pariah siblings took off their hood "holy shit" Liz said. Jewel jump around the kids in excitement.
"yay we have them now mommy won't be sad"
"yeah mommy won't be sad no more" Lucius grins.
Black*Star blink "wait what do you mean by that?" Hera turn to Black*Star.
"mommy along with auntie and uncle were sad about this"
"and because of this all of you are drifting apart" Iblis said.
"so where are you taking us?" Tsubaki asked. The pariah siblings stare at each other before looking at Soul's friends.
"to Nigeria where mommy is" Zeus confessed.
The kids eyes widen in shock "to Soul? really?" Coral asked.
"yes but you had to do something for us" Pandora said.
"like what" Patti said. Pandora walked up to them with a serious look.
"you have to make a promise"
"what promise?" Maka asked.
"a promise that you'll never regret" Hera said. Kid frown slightly.

She sigh "promise and I mean really promise that you'll never leave them, forget about the academy, your friends, your loyalty and also never betray them" Black*Star, Kid, Maka, Liz, Tsubaki, Patti and Coral stare in shock by Pandora's words. It was silent between them before Black*Star spoke.
"no way in hell"
"fine be that way...no promise no Soul" Pandora walked to her siblings.
"let's go guys back to Nigeria" Iblis said.
Anzu frown "man what a waste of time"
"tell me about it" Hera said.
They put on their hood and fly up into the sky before Coral yelled out to them "wait" Coral grabs Jewel's cloak who turn and look at her. The pariah siblings looked back and floated down on the ground.
"what?" Hades asked. Coral let go and frown slightly.
"I promise"
"Coral" Maka yelled.
"I'm sorry but I can't" Coral said "I miss Piper so much and I want to hold her like old times" she said as tears start to well-up "I miss them so much and I miss our friendship...don't you see Maka" she turn around to her friends as tears fell on her cheeks "I WANT TO BE WHOLE AGAIN...I WANT US TO BE TOGETHER AGAIN" she yelled from the top of her lungs.
Everyone stare at Coral who started to cry "even if it means to betray the academy...I'll take the risk...for what I love the most" Maka bow her head with her bangs covering her eyes. She bit her lips before speaking.
"I promise"
"Maka" Tsubaki said.
"Coral is right...ever since that incident we fell apart...but they bringing us together again" Maka lift up her head with a smile "so I promise and I'll never regret it" she smiled with tears on her face.
"Well do you guys promise?" Pandora asked. Kid walked up to them and smiled "I promise cause Soul along with Piper and Crona is our friends"
"I promise" Liz said.
"I too promise" Tsubaki said.
"I promise too" Patti smiled cheerfully. Pandora looked at her mother's friends and smirk.
"they sure are loyal" she stare at Black*Star who is silent "Black*Star"
"you'll take us to them right?" Black*Star asked.
"yes" Pandora said as tears fell down Black*Star's face.
"then if it meant to never return to the academy...then I promise" Black*Star lift up his head and smiled "that's how much I love Soul" he said.
Iblis smiled "you have a loyal lover mom" Iblis sigh "Pandora get Tsubaki, Jewel take Coral, Ustanak take Maka, Anzu grab Kid, Zeus get Liz, Hera take Black*Star and I'll grab Patti" he ordered.
"yes brother" they said in unison before grabbing the kids and putting them on their back. Iblis nod as he walked up to Patti and put her on his back "okay ready everyone"
"ready" they said.
"good let's" Iblis was cut short when they heard a yell.
"let them go" they turn their heads to see the Death Scythes and soldiers.
"oh shit...trouble" Anzu said.
"Let's leave now" Hades said as they flew into the sky. The soldiers begin to shoot as they flew higher into the sky.
"see ya losers" Lucius yelled.
"stop them" Nygus yelled as they continued the assault. The pariah siblings flew higher before they turn around with a evil smirk on their face.
"bye losers" they summon up dark shadow ball in their hands before throwing it towards their enemies. The soldiers gasp before getting hit by their attack. The pariah siblings laugh as they disappear into thin air.
Sid frown in anger "they got away" he said. He looked at his men before sighing "whatever they want from them...it's not good" he said as he stare at the sky.
The pariah siblings reappear in the southeastern of Nigeria. Iblis look at the kids with a smile "you guys ready?"
"yeah" they said in unison. Iblis grin.
"good cause we're here" Black*Star, Maka, Coral, Kid, Tsubaki, Liz and Patti gasp in awe.
In front of them is a crystal tree and wonderful animals running around the tree "this is beautiful...you live here" Maka said.
"yes and this is where you'll live here as well" Iblis said as they stare at the scenery of mother nature.
A promise that will bring the bond forever.
