Hey guys, here's the next chapter. Wow, I'm so close to 300 follows on this story. Maybe that'll change with this chapter. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

Team RWBY separated from their hug. The great excitement they once had turned into looks of worry. Yang and Ruby looked at each other, having the same face of worry. Suddenly, a smile came across Ruby's face.

"I think our dad would be perfectly fine with it," she said.

Yang tilted her head a bit, "You think so?"

"Of course, he's never been the type of person to think badly about such things."

"I suppose but…"

"It'll be fine sis."

"I don't think so Ruby."

"Well what should we do?"

"We could…pretend none of us are dating?"

Blake shook her head, "No, that wouldn't be fair to any of us."

"Indeed," Weiss agreed, "I don't like the idea of having to hide our relationships. The best thing would be to be honest with your father. I'm sure he'll understand."

"Hope you're right Weiss," Yang said.

"So it's agreed," Ruby said, "We'll tell our dad when we get home when the time is right."

Yang smiled, "Okay sis, I only hope you're right on this."

"Well anyway, we should study," Weiss said, "Finals are next week and I refuse the option of failure."

Ruby leaned on to Weiss, "That's one of the reasons I love you Weiss."

Weiss rubbed Ruby's head, "Your silliness is one of my reasons for loving you too."

Ruby quickly moved in front of Weiss and gave her girlfriend a quick kiss, causing Weiss to blush.

"Enough fooling around Ruby, let's get to work."

They all agreed and began to study together as a team. They worked together to ask each other problems and go over their review sheets. They continued this for a few hours; taking several breaks in between. When it had gotten dark, they decided it was time to call it a day after seeing Ruby yawn.

"I'm beat," she said, "We've been studying almost all day."

"True and we did really good. I think we can call it a day," Weiss said, "Well I'm going to shower first."

"I'll go next," Ruby said.

"Third," Yang said.

Blake did not respond. She only smiled and shook her head at seeing Yang being Yang. Weiss got up and grabbed some fresh undergarments and headed for the bathroom. As she was showering, Ruby grabbed her own clothes so she could go in once Weiss was done. It was about fifteen minutes until Weiss came out. Ruby jumped off her bed and went into the bathroom once Weiss was out.

Ruby placed her towel, undergarments, and pajamas on the sink and went to turn on the water. As it warmed to her desired temperature, she removed her clothes and placed them in a small pile on the floor. She checked the water and felt that it was warm enough for her. She stepped inside and gave a sigh of satisfaction from feeling the warm water on her skin. She immediately began to lather some soap into a washcloth and began to scrub her body down. As she was doing so, she heard the door open and close.

Concerned she asked, "Who's there?"

"It's just me Ruby," Weiss said, "I forgot to brush my teeth."

"Oh okay."

Weiss placed some toothpaste on her toothbrush and began brushing her teeth. After a few minutes, she rinsed her mouth out and spat into the sink. She turned to the shower and could only see Ruby's blurred figure through the shower curtain.

She sighed, "Hey Ruby."

"Yeah Weiss," Ruby replied.

"Are you sure your dad will be…okay with us dating?"

There was silence. Ruby did not even bother to respond.

Concerned, Weiss asked, "Ruby?"

"I…don't know Weiss. I was just saying that to give you guys some sort of hope. I honestly feel that…"

Ruby did not finish her sentence. Weiss was concerned about this and turned back to the shower. Suddenly she started to hear crying come from the shower followed by a thud. Weiss quickly reacted and went to the shower and opened the curtain to find Ruby crying on the floor of the tub.

Weiss turned off the shower so she wouldn't get wet, "Ruby what's wrong?"

Ruby sniffed, "I'm scared Weiss."

"Of what?"

"What if my dad doesn't approve of our relationship? We won't be able to date each other." She continued to cry, "I don't want to lose you Weiss."

Weiss lifted Ruby up, got into the tub, and gave Ruby a big hug. She didn't care about getting wet. She just didn't want to see her girlfriend crying.

"Weiss…" Ruby said.

"Don't be upset Ruby. No matter what we'll get through this together. I love you Ruby and I rely on you to be the stronger one of us. When we first started dating, you could care less about what others said while I was cowering in fear of criticism from others. If you have confidence, then I have confidence. But if you're scared, then I'll be scared." Weiss hugged her tighter, "So don't be scared Ruby. We'll get through this one way or another. If your father isn't okay with us, then maybe he's not the guy you thought he was."

"Weiss…" Ruby replied.

Weiss pulled away with a smile on her face. Ruby couldn't help but smile as well. She could see that Weiss had changed since they first met. She was…different. Ruby couldn't really tell how, but what she could see is that Weiss was starting to really open up.

"You're right Weiss, I'm sorry," she said.

Ruby noticed that Weiss had wet stains on her nightgown from hugging her.

"Weiss, you're all wet now," she said with some concern.

"It doesn't matter Ruby," Weiss replied.

Ruby gave a devious smile, "Oh really?"

Ruby slowly moved her hand towards the shower handle. She quickly turned the handle and turned the water back on. Weiss gave a high pitch squeal from feeling the water on her body. Ruby only giggled from the successful prank on her girlfriend.

"Ruby," Weiss exclaimed, "Why would you do that?"

Ruby put her arms around Weiss, "Oh come on Weiss, I'm just messing with you."

Weiss pushed her away and stepped out of the shower, "I can't believe you. You're lucky I have an extra nightgown."

Weiss grabbed the towel she used earlier and tried to dry off as best as she could. Once she did, she began to walk out of the bathroom.

"Hey Weiss, could you scrub my back?" Ruby asked.

"Scrub your own back," Weiss said as she walked out.

Ruby made a pouty face, "No fun."

Meanwhile, Blake and Yang looked at Weiss as she exited the bathroom. They noticed that she was dripping wet.

"Um Weiss, you're supposed to take off your clothes before you shower," Yang said with a cocky face.

"Well your sister thought it would be funny to spray me with the shower," Weiss said as she walked to her dresser.

Yang chuckled, "So that's what she did? I remember I did the same to her when we were kids. She was so angry at the time."

"I wonder why," Weiss replied.

Weiss continued to grab some dry undergarments and her extra nightgown. She quickly removed her wet clothes and placed the dry ones on. She was too upset at Ruby to be self conscience. She even ignored Yang's whistle towards her as she did so.

Once she was dressed, she fell onto her bed and waited for Ruby. She even felt like she was going to fall asleep then and there. Before she could, the door opened with Ruby drying off her hair. When she was done, she sat on the bed next to Weiss and lied down next to her.

"No," Weiss said, "You're sleeping in your own bed tonight."

"Aw come on Weiss," Ruby begged, "I'm sorry, okay?"

Weiss covered herself with the sheets, "No."

Ruby ignored Weiss and put her arms around her. Weiss tried her best to ignore her, but it was hard to due to the fact that Ruby was snuggling on her.

"Could you forgive me Weiss?" Ruby begged.

Weiss sighed. She couldn't stay mad at Ruby forever, especially for something so childish.

"I guess," Weiss said.

Ruby giggled, "I love you Weiss."

Weiss gave a light smile, "I love you too."

Team RWBY soon decided to go to sleep after Yang and Blake had finished their showers. The following days were used for studying since their finals were going to start on Monday. After taking the entire weekend to study, Team RWBY felt confident in their knowledge of the material and it would all be determined by their performance on the test.

After going through several tests, Ruby and Weiss were finally in the middle of their final test. Ruby thought hard to unlock the answers within her brain. Weiss on the other hand seemed to have no problem. She was answering the problems with full confidence. Ruby could only wonder how she did it.

The following day quickly came and the results were in. Ruby and Weiss went to get their midterm grades from Glynda. Ruby and Weiss went to Glynda's office.

Glynda handed Ruby her test, along with her midterm grade, "a 90 on the test, which gives you an 87 for the semester. Well done Miss Rose."

Ruby cheered as she left the office and waited outside for Weiss. Weiss smiled. She was proud of how well her girlfriend did.

Glynda then handed Weiss her test and midterm grade, "you got a 98 on your test Miss Schnee, which gives you a midterm grade of 95. Well done."

"Thank you Ms. Goodwitch," Weiss said.

With their grades in hand, Ruby and Weiss went back to their dorm to get ready for Ruby and Yang's dad. He said that he would be there that evening and there was a lot of packing to be done on Team RWBY's part. With their midterms behind them, Team RWBY could focus on preparing to leave. They spent the next few hours packing their clothes and cleaning their room. Once they were finished, they lazed about until they received new instructions. It wasn't long until Ruby received a message from her father. She opened the scroll and read the message.

When she finished reading the message, she said, "Guys, my dad just messaged me. He said to meet him at the drop off into Patch and that he'll be there in an hour or so."

"We should get going then," Yang said.

Ruby nodded in agreement, "Let's get our stuff and head to Patch guys. We'll wait for our dad there."

Team RWBY began to gather the bags that they would be taking. When they were set, they headed out and locked the door behind them. It took about twenty minutes for the gang to reach Patch, since it wasn't far from Beacon. Luckily Ruby and Yang's father said that they would be picked up from where they were dropped off from Beacon. With nothing to do, the team just decided to make small talk with each other, mostly talking about their performances on their midterms. Time seemed to go by fast that way, as the thirty minute wait came to an end almost instantly. Ruby received another message from her father.

Ruby looked at her scroll and said, "He's just around the corner guys."

Weiss was growing nervous. She knew how to make a first impression on someone, but would that make a difference after what would happen soon? The best she could do was trust that her girlfriend was making the right decision in telling her dad the truth.

Weiss took a deep breath, "So when are you going to tell him?"

"We'll tell him tonight at dinner," Ruby answered as the turned to Yang.

Yang smiled, "Sounds good."

The team looked as they saw a car approach them. Ruby waved to it, so Weiss and Blake knew that must be him. Both Ruby and Yang started to form excited looks on their faces. The car came to a stop in front of them and a man came out of the car.

"Are those two big girls right there my daughters?" he asked. "They couldn't' be."

"DADDY!" Ruby and Yang said together.

They both charged at him and gave him a great big hug. Their father returned the gesture and put his arms around both of them.

"How are you girls doing? Was your semester great," he asked.

"It was great dad," Ruby answered.

"Yeah, it was awesome," Yang added.

The man chuckled, "Well that's good to here." He then looked over at Blake and Weiss, "so I assume these are the friends you were talking about?"

Weiss walked up to him and stuck out her hand, "Weiss Schnee, at your service sir."

The man grabbed Weiss's hand and shook it, "Taiyang Xiao Long, at your service."

Blake also stuck her hand at him, "Blake Belladonna sir."

Taiyang shook Blake's hand as well, "Nice to meet you Blake."

"I would like to thank you for allowing us to celebrate Christmas with your family sir," Blake said.

"My pleasure," he said, "it's good to see my daughters making new friends. So how did you meet?"

"Well actually," Ruby said, "they're also our team members. Together, me, Weiss, Blake, and Yang form..TEAM RWBY!" Ruby jumped and raised her fist into the air.

Taiyang laughed and then sighed, "You remind me of your mother sometimes."

There was a moment of silence after that and Taiyang decided to break it immediately, "Well what are we standing around here for? Let's get going. I've had a hard day too you know."

Team RWBY grabbed their bags and stuffed them into the trunk of the car. It was a tight fit, but some shifting managed to get them in all together. When they were all in, Weiss, Blake, and Yang stuffed themselves in the back, while Ruby sat upfront from calling shotgun. They spent the car ride mostly in silence. They were all exhausted from their long day and couldn't wait to relax.

It was about a ten minute drive until they reached Ruby and Yang's house. Blake was thinking about their dinner conversation that was to happen later that night. She thought about all the outcomes that could result from it. Would it be good? Would it be bad? She wouldn't know until then. Weiss was especially thinking about the conversation. Weiss was scared about the bad outcomes that could come from Ruby telling her dad the truth. Weiss was afraid that maybe her father would never allow Ruby to see her again. She would be devastated and heartbroken if it came to that, especially since they've come this far in their relationship. The car soon came to a stop.

"Aaand we're here," Taiyang said.

Weiss took a deep breath and opened the door.
