Author's Note: I want to apoligize for not having updated in almost 2 whole months. I have been working on new chapters, but I didn't have my laptop so I couldn't type them up & post them. So again, I am very sorry that you have had to wait to long for an update. Now, on with the story!

Everyone in the room looked at Piper in shock. She was the last person they would expect to steal anything, let along from a museum. She stared at the security guard or a moment that burst out laughing.

"I told you before, you have me confused with someone else," she told him.

"I know it was you!" the guard shouted.

"This is ridiculous, I have never taken anything before in my life."

"She couldn't have taken anything," Alfie said stepping forward. "I was with her the whole time."

"I remember you" the guard said shaking his finger at Alfie. "You were with her at the museum. I bet you're her accomplice" Amber stepped forward.

"You can't accuse my Alfie!" she said.

"These are my friends and I can guarantee none of them have taken anything." Fabian said sternly.

"Then I'm sure the four of you wouldn't mind coming with me to answer a few questions" one of the others said. The four of them stared at each other dumbfounded.

"You're arresting us?" Alfie asked.

"Is this going to go on our record?" Amber said. "Because I can't have a record!"

"We're not arresting you" the other officer said. "Unless you've done something you shouldn't have." They glanced at each other shaking their heads. They hadn't done anything entirelly illegal. "Very well, lets go" They all continued to argue as they were escorted outside to two vehicles. Fabian glanced behind him searching for Mara.

"The cup" he whispered hoping she would understand. In case their rooms were searched Fabian needed someone to get the cup out of there. If the authorities found it, they were all toast.

They were taken down to the station and placed inside a room with a small table and TV sitting in the corner.

"What just happened?!" Amber exclaimed.

"I think we were arrested" Alfie said.

"No, but they definitely think we stole something." Fabian said.

"They think Piper stole something & that we helped her" Amber said.

"Same thing Ambs"

"Oh, yeah" she said. She turned to face Piper. "Have anything to fess up?"

"She didn't steal anything Amber" Fabian said.

"Oh, right..."

"But why do they think she stole this cross or whatever?" Alfie asked.

"I'm sure its just a big misunderstanding" Fabian said. "This will all be cleared up in no time"

"I wouldn't be too sure of that" one of the officers entered carrying a tape. "I have here a security tape. I'm sure you'll be very interested in what is in it" He placed it in the TV and the Egyptian Exhibit from the museum came up on screen. Someone wearing a hoodie came in view of the camera walking towards the case that held the cross. They broke the case with their shoes, setting off the alarm. They grabbed the cross and turned to run. The camera caught a glimpse of their face. The officer paused it right there so they could see who it was.

Piper.

"So you did steal it!" Amber cried.

"I didn't!"

"The tape says different" the officer said.

"I swear on my sister's life I didn't take it!" Piper said close to tears. "I can't believe you guys don't believe me!"

"I believe you," Fabian said. Piper smiled. "We all believe you right guys?"

"I don't know. That security tape has some pretty good evidence," Amber said. Alfie elbowed her. "I mean, of course we believe you. We totally have your back."

"I promise you I did not take anything from that museum" Piper said to the officer. "You can even check our things. You won't find anything."

"I have someone on their way to the hotel to check right now. And if nothing is found, we'll have one of your chaperones here to retrieve you." He left the room.

"If he searches the rooms they'll find the cup and then we'll really be busted" Alfie said.

"Don't worry," Fabian said. "Mara is taking care of it."

"How did you realize I didn't take it?" Piper asked.

"You said 'I swear on my sisters life I didn't take it'" Fabian quoted. "So there's only one other person who could have taken it, the only other person who looks like Piper."

"Patricia?" Amber, Alfie, and Piper said at the same time.

"Hold on, wait a minute," Piper said. "Let em take all of this in." She sat down in the corner of the room with her head in her hands.

"I'm not sure which is worse, the fact that we're arrested for something we didn't do or that Victor is coming to bail us out of jail" Alfie said.

"We're not in jail Alfie" Amber said. "Right?"

"No, but we will be when Victor gets done with us," Fabian said.

At the hotel, Eddie was taking his dad upstairs.

"Eddison, where are we going?" Eric asked.

"Its a surprise," Eddie said. "And I told you to call me Eddie." They came to Jerome's room where he was standing outside the door, waiting.

"Ok, boys, what is going on?" Mr Sweet asked then he cautiously took a step back. "Is this some sort of a prank."

"Of course not!" Jerome said. "Do we look like we would do something like that?" They struck a pose.

"Yes" Mr Sweet said.

"Feeling the love dad" Eddie said.

"What are you two up to?"

"What if we just want to hang out with our favorite headmaster?" Jerome said opening the door to his room and leading Mr Sweet inside.

"Then I would say..." Eric paused when he saw that John Clarke was in the room as well. He turned to see that the door was closed and locked.

"I demand that you open this door immediately," he said.

"Not until you guys have talked" Jerome said.

"I'm not talking to him" John said.

"I'm not talking to you," Eric said.

"We're making progress gentlemen" Jerome said.

"Eddie!" Mara called running up to them. "We have a major problem."

"Don't we have enough major problems?" Eddie asked. "I'm sure whatever it is, its not that major."

"Alfie, Amber, Fabian, and Piper have all been arrested."

"Come again?" Jerome asked shocked.

"That's definitely a major problem," Eddie said. "What happened?"

"They think Piper took some sort of artifact from the museum and they took the four of them in for questioning."

"Piper? a thief?" Jerome asked. "I'd never see that coming."

"Sounds like something Patricia might do," Mara said. "Wait, what did Piper say about Patricia possibly being in Egypt?"

"No, I know what you're thinking." Eddie said. "and you're wrong. I know Patricia and she's no thief."

"We should tell Victor or one of the adults," Mara said.

"And tell them what?" Eddie asked. "Hey Victor, four students were just arrested and are suspected of stealing a rare artifact?"

"Yeah, that's exactly what we should tell him"

"I'm sure Victor is out to get us, I doubt he'll help." Eddie said. They heard people downstairs. Peering over the banister, Eddie and Mara saw Victor talking to an officer.

"We have four of your students in custody," the officer said. "I just need to have a quick look at their things and then we'll release them to you."

"Very well," Victor said. He started to lead him up the stairs.

"They're going to search our rooms?!"

"The cup!" Mara exclaimed remembering what Fabian told her.

"What about the cup?"

"If they search the rooms, they'll find the cup." Eddie ran back to Jerome.

"Jerry, we need to take care of something. Will you be alright keeping them in line?" he asked.

"Yeah," Jerome said. He listened at the closed door. They heard arguing from inside. "It seems things are going pretty well." Eddie started to leave, but Eddie grabbed him. "Miller, do me a favor and watch out for Mara for me."

"No problem dude" He met Mara in Nina and Amber's room. He got the bag containing the cup and the symbols out of the closet. When he touched the bag, he had a vision.

He was standing in a dimly lit room. Before him was Patricia, Poppy, and Nina. They were talking but he couldn't hear what they were saying.

"Patricia is here," Eddie said happily. "She's with Nina and Poppy. We have to find them."

"One thing at a time superhero" Mara said. "Lets get the cup out of here first." They were about to leave the room when there was a knock on the door.

"Nina Martin, are you in there?" they heard Victor call.

"What do we do?" Mara panicked motioning to the bag. Eddie looked around tyring to find somewhere to hide the cup. His eyes fell on the window. Quickly he dropped the bag outside watching it fall into the dumster below before turning to see Victor and the officer enter the room.

"What are you two doing in here?" he asked. "Where is Miss Martin?"

"Well...we were...uh...just...wondering the same thing!" Eddie said. "We were waiting for her" Victor studied him suspiciously while the officer searched the room.

"Anything we can help you with?" Mara asked. "Something you're looking for?"

"Nothing you need to be worried about," Victor said. "At least, not yet."

"Everything seems to be in order here," the officer stated completing his search. He and Victor moved on to the next room.

"Make sure Martin is here by curfew or there will be consequences" Victor said. They left the room.

"That was close" Mara said.

"The cup!" Eddie said. They looked out the window into the dumster below. "I can't see. Its too dark." Mara pointed a flashlight down.

The bag was no where to be found.

Author's Note: So as I said before, I am really, really, really sorry that it took sooooo long to update. I have the next couple chapters already written out, so I will have those posted soon.
