Chapter 26 – Rose

I arrived Home, and Alice wasn't there. I could smell that Emmett came back from his hunt; poor thing must have thought that something went wrong, as he didn't find us at his return. But where is Alice anyway?

Ok let's proceed in order. Emmett probably follow mine or Alice scent to find us so by consequence, if I follow Alice scent, we should all meet up at some point.

So I followed her scent, but very quickly I knew where I was heading to. Why on Earth, would Alice go to see Bella, we agreed that she wasn't ready to see us just yet? She must have had a vision, that's why she went, I suppose. I fastened my run, I didn't want anything to happen to Bella, she was just getting a little bit better, and I didn't know what would happen if a big drama were to happen in the middle of her living-room!

I hope the mutts don't have anything to do with this. They have done enough! In all fairness, I think that poor kid Jacob must have lived hell when he discovered that her best friend were dating a real vampire and that he, himself, turn into a giant ball of fur. If I want to be honest with myself I kind of forgive him for being so rude earlier this evening, as I understand where his thoughts come from.

If it weren't for Eddy, we wouldn't be there in the first place. But that boy, as much as being a virgin, is also a f*ck*ng idiot! You would thought that a 100 years would give him some perspectives, and add to that that he is a mind reader, so he is probably the guys in this planet that can know best how a women work, but no, that silly boy left the girl he is in love with in the middle of the wood, just because of a familial fight over some..., let's just say food habit! Like some human family don't do worse than that everyday! Honestly the more I think of it, the more worked up I get! I think that guy is hopeless! He is probably an Emo deep down or he just like being miserable!

I was going to blame him further in though, but I reach Bella's house... No doubt, Alice and Emmett were here, apparently I was right, something happened!

I jump for the second time tonight by the window and stopped at the sight of what was there. Emmett and Alice were fighting over a passed out Bella. Alice had her in her arms, but Emmett were pulling her legs to him, Alice were pulling back. It was like 2 dogs fighting over the same bone.

"What the hell is going on here?!" I tried not to scream, but even when so, both, stopped. I guess super hearing power does have a good point. When they finally realised that I was there, they nearly dropped her, lucky I am fast, i grabbed Bella, and put her back in her bed, tucked her in her cover, her pulse were very faint and that worried me, I hope they didn't broke further her in some way.

"Ok, now that Bella is SAFE IN HER BED, are you two going to explain me what is happening?"

They had the tasteful idea to look shameful, both of them glancing at each other, like kids caught with their hand in the cookie jar. But I need them to tell me what happened, so that I find out how was Bella. I don't know why I felt like that toward her... I just felt I needed to protect her, from herself and from everything around.

"So?" I asked with my eyebrow arched and my hands on my hips, that posture always work on Emmett. "Are you two going to tell me what you were doing here of all places?"
