Act Two: The Order

Chapter Twenty-Six: Treasure Trove Cove

And as quickly as they jumped in, they were spat back out, all five landing on a pier. The collision made the pier rock slightly, making everyone even more dizzy than before.

"Ugh... That hurt..." Tails muttered, shaking his head. Everyone nodded in agreement, picking themselves up and brushing the dust off.

"Tails, do you hear me?" Cole's voice asked, echoing around them.

"Y-Yeah... Where are we?"

"Your in the data stream. Right now, your on the first area that was incomplete. It was filled with this island-like world. I don't know where it's from, though, so stay cautious." Cole informed him. "Look around for the exit portal, or at least a key to where it might be. Me and Shockwave are gonna try shutting off the portal." Tails looked up, noticing the portal was still open. Strangely, the inside of it looked like an endless light blue tunnel. Tails wondered how fast they went through that, but shook it off and looked at the others, standing ready and alert.

"What's the plan, Tails?" Twilight asked.

"Well... You heard Cole. Explore." Twilight nodded and, using her magic, teleported off. Unknown shrugged and ran off the peer, rushing towards the left of it. Daniel just nodded and made his way off and too the right. Tails sighed. He looked over at Cream, who just gave him a worried look.

"We can do this... time for an aerial view. You stay here, Cream. In case this place isn't as safe." He started his twin tails and took off into the sky. Cream watched, hoping they had enough time.

TAILS

"Incredible..." Tails mouthed as he rose higher and higher. "This island is so small... and looking around, there must be hundreds of miles of ocean..." Tails rose further, checking out the island's landmarks. A giant sand-castle, A giant crab-like creature, a boat that's stuck on land, and...

"A... lighthouse?" Tails muttered. "But... why would their be a lighthouse here? Someone would have to manage it, but this place is infested with crabs and sharks... and there's no clear answer to how they get fresh food and water... Those crabs certainly don't look healthy." Tails laughed a bit at the whole thing though. "THis is a better place than home..." Tails kept his smile and flew over to the lighthouse, landing onto the walkway it had. To his surprise there was no light, just a ladder to the bottom.

"That's odd... hn... why was this built then?..." He pondered on this, taking a minute to contemplate what this world's rules and idea's were.

TWILIGHT

"So a bear and bird brought your gold back, Captain Blubber?" Twilight asked, astonished. She had never heard of a bear and bird working as one before.

"Yar har, it be true. The bear and bird helped this poor old sea hippo reclaim is pride." The hippo in pirates clothing told her. "I haven't seen them in a while, but if you do see them, tell them I said Ahoy!" Twilight nodded and jumped off the stranded ship. It was interesting to say the least, but she was glad to know this world had good souls on it. She had covered this area, but she felt something off. Looking up, she saw Tails flying around the light house. Twilight decided to teleport to the bottom of it and wait for the others there. Hopefully they found something.

UNKNOWN

Unknown snickered as he hid in the giant chest with teeth and eyes. It opened it's mouth, revealing him.

"Peek-a-boo!" He shouted, laughing. The chest closed, then opened again. Unknown repeated his shout, and this continued for some short time. He finally got bored of it and jumped out, walking over to the large crab creature.

"Hey, Mr. Crab apples!" He shouted. "Do you know the exit to this area?" He asked.

"Nipper knows no exit. Nipper want's you off his beach anyway!" The giant crab growled. "First weird bird and bear, now ugly horse."

"Ugly? Oh heck no." unknown concentrated his magic, then blew the Crab off the beach with one quick blast. After a few seconds, Unknown groaned and charged more magic.

"That was not helpful... pah, might as well wait and see if the others found something.

Shockwave and Cole continued their work on closing the portal, they didn't notice six other figures appearing near it.

" I need to get back to Twilight..." Spike whined. The Cutie Mark Crusaders nodded.

"I need to save Sonic and Dash." Scootaloo exclaimed.

"Chao Chao!" Cheese whimpered, wanting to be with Cream again.

"Mission. Infiltrate Silver Sonic's base." Tails Doll poke in a low, mono-toned voice. All of them shot towards the portal, turning into blocks and instantly zapped into the computer.

"Wait, what?!" Shockwave exclaimed, rushing over to the portal only to see it shutter and vanish.

"What happened?" Cole asked, looking up from the computer. "The portal just stopped responding. Our connection to the others are lost too."

"I saw some ponies and others jump in!"

DANIEL

"NONONONONO!" Daniel screamed, swimming for his life.

"Yum Yum, Snackers wants hedgehog steak!" A shark yelled excitedly. It darted towards him, scaring the pant's off him. Daniel jumped out the water and literally flew all the way to the lighthouse in a panicked jump.

Our four heroes all stood together under the lighthouse, confused of what to do next.

"So no one found anything?" Tails asked.

"Nope." Everyone said. Tails sighed in defeat.

"Cole. What do we do now?" Tails asked the sky. After a minute, the quietness began to bother them all.

"Cole? Shockwave?" Twilight called out. They all waited in silence, till they heard flapping, then a thud. they all turned to see two rather odd looking creatures.

"Uh... hi?" Tails asked. The creature waved back, then spoke.

"Hi! I'm Banjo. What seems to be the problem?" He asked. A bird popped out of the blue pack on his back, looking at them.

"Probably lost their way going to a fury convention!" It yapped.

"Kazooie, technically were animals too, so..."

"But were not freak looking... well i'm not anyway!"

"Well actually, we could use some help, Banjo and Kazooie." Tails said.

"And I'll make sure they give you the opposite." A voice boomed.

"Wait... Silver Soni-" Tails was cut off as Banjo and Kazooie screeched out in pain. Tails looked back at them, eyes widening as they spazzed out and bent in awkward positions as if they were glitching out in a video game. They stopped, slowly opening their eyes to reveal red pools of data.

"Banjo! It's a couple of baddies!" Kazooie Shouted.

"Wait... What?!" Daniel shouted.

"Let's get them!" Banjo shouted.
