Chapter 26
Dream to Reality
I called out for my brother so he could heal Boromir, but he was not there.
"They…..they took….him….and Merry and…..Pippin."
My eyes widened in horror and my heart stopped.
"No….."
"I-I tried to save them!" he gasped.
Tears filled my eyes and I smiled at Boromir.
"I believe you. This is not your fault."
Uncle came and knelt on his other side.
"They took the little ones! And your nephew!"
"Be still!" uncle commanded.
"Frodo….where is Frodo?"
"I let Frodo go." uncle answered.
I looked at him.
"Then you did what I could not?" I looked back at Boromir. "I tried to take the ring from him."
I closed my eyes and looked away.
"The ring is beyond our reach now."
"Forgive me. I did not see it! I have failed you all. You were right Lady Elena."
I shook my head.
"No Boromir. I was wrong about you. Only a strong man could admit he was wrong and as forgiveness. And you are a strong man Boromir, son of Denathor. You are a brave and strong man."
He smiled at me.
"She is right, you have kept your honor."
Uncle tried to pull the arrows out, but Boromir stopped him.
"Leave it! It is over! The world of men will fall, and all will come to darkness. Bring my city to ruin!"
I looked at my uncle, there were tears in his eyes.
"I do not know what strength is in my blood. But I swear to you I will not let the white city fall. Nor our people fail."
I smiled and put my hand on his shoulder.
"Our people?" he nodded. "Our people."
Boromir reached for his sword and I placed it in his hand.
"I would have followed you to the end my brother. My captain….my king! And you as well Elena."
Those were the last words he said. I closed my eyes and tears streamed down my face.
"Be at peace, son of Gondor." whispered my uncle.
"Farewell Boromir…..mellon nin." I cried.
Uncle put his arms around me and I cried. I only cried for a few minutes, then I ran to Legolas. He enveloped me in his arms and I heard Gimli sigh.
"Alejandro's dream…it came true."
Legolas pulled back and looked at me in alarm.
"He was taken."
Gimli gasped and had a look of guilt on his face.
"This is not your fault Gimli. We were all fighting, none of us could have stopped it. Boromir tried, but now it is up to us to save him, and Merry and Pippin."
He nodded and I smiled at him. Before that though, we placed Boromir's body in a boat. The arrows that had pierced his body were lain with him, as was his shield and horn. We let the river carry him away and I waded out into the water until it was up to my knees.
"River bear him to the halls of his fathers, for a noble man he was, and a good friend to me. Always shall I remember him." I said.
When I walked back I looked around.
"Where is Sam?"
Uncle smiled a bit.
"He went with Frodo. But now we have a mission of our own."
I nodded and said,
"To find my brother. And Merry and Pippin. And avenge Boromir."
I whispered the last part. Legolas took my hand I squeezed it.
"Well then we must away. Let us hunt some orc!" Uncle said.
"Yes!" Gimli said.
Legolas looked at me before we ran after them.
"I love you."
I pulled his lips to mine and kissed him hard.
"I love you too."
We ran off after the others, our hands entwined the whole way.
Third Person POV
Alejandro was taken by Saruman's Uruk-hai. A terrible mix of goblin and orc. They moved swiftly and the daylight did not bother them. Beside him Merry was unconscious with a nasty wound on his head.
"Merry!" he hissed.
The Uruks came to a sudden halt. Regular orcs came out and started to talk with the Uruks.
"You are late. Our master grows impatient. He wants the shire rates and the girl now!"
"We do not have the girl! We have the boy!"
The orc growled and hissed.
"Merry! Merry!"
"Oi! Shut your mouth!"
"My friend is sick! He needs water!" Pippin said.
"Sick is he? Give him some medicine boys!"
They poured a foul looking liquid down Merry's throat and he woke up coughing.
"Stop it! Leave him alone!"
"Why!? You want some?!"
Alejandro was not afraid of the Uruk-hai, though he should have been.
"Elige a alguien de tu tamaño ¡hijo de puta!" (Pick on someone your own size you son of a bitch!)
The orc hit him hard in the face. He spit blood right back into its face. As he was about to hit him again, another uruk stopped him.
"He wants them unspoiled."
The other uruk growled and roared but then they started to sniff the air.
"What is it? What do you smell?"
"Man flesh!"
Alejandro and Pippin smiled at each other.
"My sister is coming for us! And when she finds you, you'll be really sorry then!"
"Move!"
The Uruks started to run again. Pippin tore his brooch off and let it fall to the ground. Alejandro nodded in approval.
Elena's POV
We had been running for three days. Uncle said that their pace had quickened.
"Hurry!"
I ran faster and Legolas shouted back to Gimli.
"Come on Gimli!"
"Three days and nights pursuit! No food, no rest, and no sign of our quarry but what bare rock can tell."
I smirked and ran towards something shining in the ground.
"Uncle!"
It was one of the Lorien brooches.
"Not idly do the leaves of Lorien fall!"
I smiled and Legolas looked at it.
"They may yet be alive!" said he.
I stood up and started to run forward.
"Less than a day ahead of us! Come!"
I heard Gimli tumble down a hill.
"Come Gimli! We are gaining on them!"
"I wish that on cross country, we dwarves were natural sprinters! Very dangerous over short distances!"
At that I had to laugh. We came to a cliff of sorts and Legolas and I ran ahead.
"What do your elf eyes see?!" Uncle called to us.
I saw the Uruks.
"The Uruks turn northeast! They are taking the hobbits and Alejandro to Isenguard!"
I looked at my husband with fear. He took my hand and gave me a look of determination.
"We will find him! Saruman will not get him, or the hobbits!"
I nodded and ran forward.
Uncle decided we would rest for a night.
"But we could have them before night fall!"
"Elena. We are tired, you are tired. You have seen them stop to rest, we will get them."
I shook my head.
"No! That is my brother! Your nephew!"
He sighed in frustration.
"I know! But if we attack them now we will be killed and then we will be of no use to him. We all need rest."
I sighed, but I knew he was right. I nodded and he walked off. I stared at the Uruks all night, that is until Legolas came to me.
"~You are not resting.~"
"~Nor will I.~" I replied.
He wrapped his arms around me.
"Well then, if you are not going to rest, how about a bit of a distraction?"
I pushed him off, he seemed surprised.
"Legolas my brother is out there in the hands of Saruman's monster bitches! And you want to have sex!? Just go to sleep!" I snapped.
The hurt was clear on his face and I regretted what I had said.
"Legolas I…"
He held up his hand and then walked away. I sat down and pulled my knees to my chest. Tears fell down my face. My husband was only trying to help me, and I had treated him like dirt. I remembered what he had said about elves and their hearts and my own started ot hurt, as though someone were squeezing it mercilessly. I clutched my chest and closed my eyes. The pain numbed away, but it was still there. I looked to the others, but Legolas was not there. I walked back towards my uncle and Gimli.
"Where is he?"
Gimli pointed off in the direction Legolas had gone. I nodded in thanks and then walked off in search of him.
Legolas was sitting on top of a large boulder, looking at the stars.
"~You know I read somewhere….~" he looked at me. "~that wood elves love best the light of the stars. And that there is a feast of starlight called Mereth en Gilith.~"
He looked away from me. I sighed and climbed up and sat next to him. I slowly put my hand on his forearm, h still would not look at me.
"~Legolas I am so sorry. I did not mean to snap at you. I love you so much and I love my brother. I am so scared that I will lose one of you or both of you. And my heart….." he looked at me a bit. "it felt like someone was squeezing the life from it. Knowing that I had thrown such harsh words at you…it killed me inside. I am one with you Legolas, were are family. One mind, one heart together. Please forgive me.~"
He took my hand and we both stood. He touched my face lightly and I smiled happily.
"~I will always forgive you my darling Elena.~"
I smiled more and threw my arms around him.
"~I am so lucky to have a husband like you. I know men back where I used to live that would beat their wives if they ever talked back to them.~"
He looked at me in horror.
"~A man should never lay his hand on a woman. Not unless to comfort or love her.~"
He gently stroked my face and I stopped his hand.
"Maybe I do need a distraction." I whispered.
He gently kissed me and I could feel him untying my vest. I pulled back so he could untie the front. Since the elves had no idea what zippers were, I made a few changes to my sketches. The front tied up with leather strings and opened to reveal nothing but my skin. He untied it and I shrugged out of it. I removed his shirt and pressed my body up against his. I reached down and massaged his erection through his pants. He moaned into my mouth and I tangled one of my hands in his soft blond hair. He picked me up and lay me on the ground gently. He reattached his lips to mine and I started to push his pants down with my feet.
"~Your skin is so soft, so beautiful.~"
I moaned as his lightly stroked my side. He kissed my stomach and then moved even further down. I gasped when he sucked my bud.
"Oh Legolas! Yes!" I cried.
I was close and when I came he sucked up my juices. He kissed back up my body, stopping to suck at my breasts when he reached them. When he reached my lips again he wasted no time in thrusting his tongue in my mouth. His tongue stroked mine and I could feel his wet head rubbing against my opening.
"Legolas please do not tease me!" I begged.
He chuckled and sucked hard at my neck. I cried out his name and he pushed himself into me. He filled me so perfectly, as though we were both made for each other.
Are we not though? Were we not meant for each other? We were!
He pumped hard into me and my moans grew higher and louder with each thrust. He kissed me again and this muted my moans and cries of pleasure. As I grew closer to the edge, I held him tighter, my nails digging into his skin. With a cry I came around him and spilled himself inside me at the same time. We lay there for a few minutes, kissing each other. When he pulled himself out of me her stroked my skin. His eyes widened when he saw my scars. I closed my eyes in shame.
"~Your brother told me you had more, but I did not want to believe it. Had you been able to remain in Middle-Earth…you would never have had to endure such pain.~"
I smiled at him and touched his face.
"~My scars were inflicted upon me by bad people. And those people got worse than what they did to me. Some of them are even dead, and my brother and I are alive because of it.~"
He kissed every one of my scars and I smiled.
"No matter how many scars you have you are still beautiful. You always will be."
I kissed him hard on the lips and felt tears of joy come to my eyes. When we separated he smiled at me again.
"I love you Elena. I was born to love you and always will love you. Forever."
We sat up and he pulled me into his arms.
"I love you Legolas."
He kissed me one more time before we got dressed.
