Hey everyone welcome back for another chapter of The Journey Of Aaron Carter. On last week's chapter, Desric was preparing his army to go to war against unknown enemy, while Desric was in prison and Ahsoka was locked in her room. Star Wars is owned by Disney, I just own my OCs.

Chapter 25: Wreck Time

Prison

After Aaron and Marcus left their cell to get down to the mess hall, they began to walk down the hallways of the prison. As they walked toward the mess hall, Aaron began to see clone troopers carrying blaster rifles who were looking right at him while he passed by them.

While they walked Aaron looks over at Marcus and asks him a question. "So why are you here Marcus?"

Marcus looks over at Aaron who is curious as to why he was in prison. "Ten years ago, I found out that my wife was being seen by another man, a man who was a coworker of hers." Marcus said and then continues. "My wife and I were not a very wealthy couple at the time and every few days her coworker would always pop by and start waving his money in front of her by taking her to very expensive dinner meetings and after a few days of doing that I went over to his place with a pistol in my pocket."

"You went over to his house?!" Aaron asked.

Marcus nods and continues with the story while they walked. "So I arrive at his house and say to him, 'Hey I know what you're doing with my wife.' I said and then add, 'That's my wife! Go find yourself another woman!' and then I showed him my pistol." Marcus said. "Little did I know that he had a pistol in his pocket too and then pulled it on me and so we have our pistols pointing at each other and so in order to protect myself I shot him in his house before I got in my speeder and took off."

"So you didn't intend on killing him in the first place?" Aaron asked, trying to clear things up. "You just wanted to scare him?"

Marcus nods to Aaron's assumption. "I didn't mean to kill him, I only wanted to scare him so that he would stay away from my wife. But after he pulled out his pistol I shot him to protect myself but I knew everyone would blame the Twi'lek, who made little money, for killing a white rich man."

"And a few days later, I had policemen at my door before they barged in and threw me to the ground before they arrested me." Marcus said before adding, "And when I was on the ground, I looked over at my wife who was giving a look of disgust. It turned out she was in love with the guy I shot. And when I went to court, they charged me for twenty years of prison before I would be released. So I've been here ever since."

After listening to Marcus' story, Aaron looks over at him and says, "I'm sorry what happened between you and wife."

"It was my fault." Marcus said. "I drove her away from me and because of that I paid the price."

"There are some things in this world that are not just meant to be." Aaron said.

"Yeah." Marcus said before he looked at Aaron. "But what happened to me is nothing compared to what you and your friends went through."

Aaron is suddenly confused with what Marcus said. "How do you…"

"Derric told me everything." Marcus said before he took a slight pause. "Losing a wife to a dead rich man is nothing compared to watching your family slaughtered before being recruited by the same people who murdered them."

"If Derric told you everything, then he must have told you that we used to kill people for a living." Aaron said to Marcus.

"Yes." Marcus responded.

Aaron then asks Marcus, "Are you afraid of me?"

The two of them both stop before they encounter the entrance to the mess hall. Marcus looks down at Aaron and looks into his eyes to see the killer inside him. "No." He said to Aaron.

"Why?" Aaron asked him, wondering why Marcus wasn't afraid of him..

"Because I know a true monster when I see him." Marcus replied.

"Good." Aaron said. "At least I know that I don't have to sleep with one eye open." Marcus gives Aaron a small laugh before the two of them enter the mess hall.

Mess Hall

When the two entered the mess hall, Aaron saw hundreds of criminals scattered across the large room. He watched criminals, of different species, grab some food before they sat on small tables as they talked their fellow convicts. Inside the mess hall was also a small gym where Aaron saw some of the convicts work out by lifting weights.

All of this reminded him of when he used to live in the castle, after Desric had put him, Derric and Grace, through difficult training. He remembered coming to the table with bruises on his face while Derric and Grace and shared the same wounds.

As they walk though the mess hall, Aaron sees Derric walk away from a large line of convicts that are waiting to be served their lunch. Derric looks in front of him and sees both Aaron and Marcus jeading toward him. Desric looks around and sees a prisoner sitting alone while he eats his meal. Derric walks close behind him and snaps his finger behind the prisoner's left ear.

The prisoner turns around to see who snapped their finger before Derric slips past his sight and takes a piece of bread while the prisoner was distracted.

With an extra piece of bread, Derric walks toward Aaron and Marcus to which Aaron says, "Nice move." He said, impressed that Derric was able to steal the other prisoner's food without getting caught.

"Yeah well you know I used to do this a lot back on Rhen Var." Derric said, remembering that he and all the recruits had steal food when Desric would starve them.

Derric pulls out the piece of bread from his pocket and tosses it over to Aaron. "It's nice to see you again." Aaron said to his friend.

Derric nods while he looks around for a table to sit on. He soon spots a free table that no one is using. "Let's have a seat." He said before the three friends walked over to the table.

As the three of them sat on the table, Aaron finally asks Derric, "So what's going on Derric?"

"We're being trialed for crimes against the Republic." Derric said.

"On what charge?" Aaron asked.

"Murder, and our alliance with the Separatists." Derric replied.

None of this surprised Aaron. He and his friends knew that the Republic would charge them for murdering clones and political figures when they worked for the Separatists. "What happened to Ahsoka and Barriss?" He asked.

"After we arrived on Coruscant, Ahsoka and Barriss didn't say a word to Master Skywalker." Derric said to Aaron. "Since they didn't feel like talking to their master, he dropped them off at the Jedi Temple be he threw us in here."

Suddenly Aaron realizes something. "Wait." He said. "Where's Grace?!"

Prison Cell: Women's Facility

While Aaron and Derric were having their lunch, Grace sat in her cell with a blank stare on her face. She looks down at the cold floor and has her hands on both her knees while she sits on the side of her bed. Suddenly she hears a loud bell ring before the ray shields to her cell deactivate. She looks outside her cell and sees most of the prisoners walk toward the mess hall. It must be lunchtime. She thought to herself.

As she walks out of her cell, two women suddenly block her way. One woman was a young Pantoran with light blue skin and a purple mohawk wearing an orange jumpsuit while the other woman was a white human with a shaven head that had tattoos and head green eyes while she wore a white tank top and orange jumpsuit pants.

They walk over to Grace with evil smiles across their faces. "Hey there new girl." The human woman said to her as she walked close to her while her Pantoran friend stood by the only exit. The human woman cracks her knuckles and says to Grace, "Time to play."

Crack. Grace cracks her neck and takes a deep breath before replying. "Okay… let's play."

Oh boy this does not look good… for the two prisoners. Sorry if this chapter was too short, the next chapter will be a bit more longer than this one. I'll see you guys next week for another exciting chapter. Good-bye.
