Hello Guys. I'm going to introduce a few more characters from the TSR.

First of there's Old Pete. He's based of Old Puffer Pete from Chuggington.

The other one is a black LNER A4 like Spencer or the Mallard. Her name is Olivia.

Anyway enjoy the chapter.

Chapter 26 Pete puffs out.
It was the twelfth of January and Behemoth waited with Samson at the Brendam Docks for their ship back home." Well it's time to leave I guess. I enjoyed our visit here." The red E2 said.
"Indeed. But there's no such place like home." Samson agreed, smiling a bit.
Then Marco and Carl entered the docks." So you two gonna leave huh?" The German Class 01 asked.
"Yep. They need us back on the TSR." Behemoth answered.
"Well. Say hello to Old Pete if you meet him at Coldport docks." Carl said.
"We'll do it buddy."
"Wait. Who's Old Pete." Marco asked curiously.
"He was the engine who worked at the Highcloud Iron Mine. And also our former number two." The white K2 answered.
"Why's he the "former" Nr 2."
"Well let me tell you a story that happened ten years ago." Behemoth began...

A few days after Candace's accident in 2009.
The red tender engine just entered the Goods Yard of Highcloud with a line of Coal trucks." Trucks! If there's anything I hate then it's Trucks." She growled angrily.
A old tank engine, who stood at a water tower nearby, examined her. He had the number 2 in white painted on his boiler and three blue hopper trucks filled with iron ore behind him." Is everything alright Cancer?" He asked.
"I just hate doing goods work Pete. And my name's Candace. I've told you this over 50 times by now." The red engine answered slightly annoyed.
"Goods work isn't that bad ,ya know. If we only do passenger work, this railway wouldn't work properly." The old engine explained.
"Whatever. Isn't it already time for you to retire. You can't do the work at the mine for all eternity Pete. You'll burst a valve or break something if you keep up." Candace alsed a bit concerned.
"Pah. I know I'm over hundred, but I'm running just as good as back in the days of the world war. I just need some oil and determination and the job is quickly done." He said a bit crossly.
Then the Yardmaster came to Pete. He looked a bit stressed out." Olivia can't come today. She ran out of coal near the Springfield station. Can you do her job and pull the Ore Train to Crosshill." He asked him.
Pete was a bit surprised." You're sure sir. I didn't do that since '69." He said.
"I'll do it. Old Pete would have a breakdown right before he passes the Highcloud tunnel." Candace chuckled.
"No Canadian I'll do that job. I'm going to prove you that I'm still reliable and useful." Pete huffed and coupled with his three hoppers to five more of them. Then he left the yard.
"I'm not gonna help you if you fail Old Man." Candace laughed.
"Sorry I can't hear you. I'm busy Kansas." The old engine said and had already left Highcloud.
"That name didn't even start with a "C""She yelled after him.

It wasn't easy for an old engine like Pete to pull such heavy trains. He huffed and wheezed as he drove through tunnel that was build through the mountains between Crosshill and Highcloud.
"Maybe we should wait for Olivia to help you. I'm sure she's getting some new coal at Springfield." His driver suggested.
"No. I can do this. I'm still useful." The old engine said and kept on pulling the eight hoppers to the Steelworks in Crosshill.
His crew was quite concerned about his condition. He could easily break down in the middle of the track.

Luckily Pete arrived without any problems at the Steelworks. He was quite exhausted but happy that he made it." Wow Pete. I never thought you make it." Buford, a gray BR Class 07 who worked there, said surprised.
"I've still got it in me Burnaby. I'm still able to do such things." He wheezed exhausted.
"Well...i don't want to bother you...but this load of Steel needs to go to the docks in Coldport." The gray diesel began." Think you can do this for me. I need to take care of your trucks ya know."
"Sure...sure. Give me a minute or two and I'm on my way." Pete huffed and went on a turntable to turn around and couple up to the ten flatbeds, loaded with steel bars.
"If you need help, I'm pretty sure I can push from behind and melt the ore later." Buford asked.
"Nope. I'm going to do this alone. I'm still able to handle such loads." The old engine answered crossly and tried to move forward. The trucks were heavier than he expected.
"Ya sure. You're ain't movin' a inch Old man." The diesel stated.
"I only need some patience. And enough determination to move. And I'm full with both of it." Pete grumbled angrily and kept on pulling.
"Really? I'm not a engineer, but I thought you need water and coal to move." Buford looked confused.
"I can do it. I can do it." Pete said to himself and finally the trucks began to move. This made him quite happy." Haha. I'm moving youngster. Look at me go!" And soon he left Crosshill.
"He's gonna have a breakdown. I'm sure he'll hurt himself." The gray diesel said and watched him rolling down the track." Well anyway. Not my problem. I have work to do." And then he went back to work.

Pete slowly rolled down the mainline. He needed like forever to get to Coldport. Then he heard a whistle behind him." Hurry up you old fusspot." The owner of this whistle yelled. It was a angry Joe with the express.
"Oh sorry Josuke. I'm going as fast as possible. You have to be patient." Pete huffed weakly.
This made Joe furious." My name is Joe! And I have the express behind me. If I'm running late, Mr Richards will punish us both so hurry the Frick up." The 2B1 growled.
"Well Jotaro, you could give me a push until we arrive there. So the both of us will be there on time." The old tank engine suggested.
"I'm a express engine. I don't give old shitty tin kettles, like you a fuckin push. So you better hurry up or I will frickin' obliterate you. And I'm not named Josuke, or Jotaro, or Joseph, or Jonathan. My name is Joe. J-O-E. JOE. Get that right you old shithead." Joe exploded in rage. Luckily Pete passed a set of points and he could switch on the line next to him. The big tender engine then raced past him and towards Coldport.
"Pah. How rude those younglings are. Back in my days they behaved better." The old engine wheezed, feeling insulted.

Finally after a hour, Old Pete arrived at the docks. He hadn't any bit of energy left." Almost there Pete. Just leave them here and you can rest." His driver said relieved.
Then Callie, a six-wheeled orange diesel shunter, stopped next to him." Thanks Pete. But could you do me a small favor." She asked.
"Sure...wh...what is it." Pete huffed exhausted.
"Could you please shunt them onto the Track, next to the big ship over there." The diesel asked and looked over to a huge container ship.
"Sure...sure...I mean I'm completely exhausted, but that little bit of work won't hurt me I guess." And then he uncoupled from the flatbed and positioned quickly behind them. He tried to push them. But like before, they didn't moved a single inch. Pete pushed with all he got and build up more and more steam.
"Pete, Stop! Your boiler is gonna burst if you keep up with that." His driver warned but Pete didn't cared. He kept on until everyone heard a small explosion and steam streamed from Pete's entire body.
"Ow crap. My boiler." He cursed. The old engine couldn't move anymore and stuck behind them.
"Oh boy. I better bring you to the works." Callie said and coupled up to him and pulled him to the works.

Pete was soon at the works. The workmen examined the damage." Your boiler and your pipes are exploded and completely wrecked. We need to fix them, but that's gonna take a while." One of them said.
"Pete. After this repair you better get a easy job. Passengers from the Ships need some kind of shuttle service to the Coldport station. You could do that. It's only one coach and the track between the stations is very short." Mr Richards said as he entered the works.
Pete stood calmly there and waited to get fixed.

"Wow. A boiler explosion. Such things don't happen that often." Marco had to admit back in the present.
"Yep. Luckily he got fixed and still works at the docks." Behemoth said smiling.
"Well. I'd like to hear more stories from your railway. Too bad you have to leave." The black class 01 said.
"Don't worry. Everyone told me what happened before I was build. I can tell you more stories." Explained Carl proudly.
Finally came the time for the two tank engines to leave and the two tender engines went back to their jobs.
