Zelda and Ganon were running back to the grounds, when suddenly, Ghirahim appeared in front of them. Zelda was so startled, she smacked him with the Dominion Rod.
Ghirahim jumped back with a pained expression "You crazy bitch! Did you seriously just hit me with that thing? That really hurt!"
"Good! Let me do it again." Zelda said before screaming in pain, as a wave of red daggers barreled into her.
Ganon pulled out his large sword, and swiped at the albino demon, but connected only with air. At least the attack on the Princess had stopped. And she seemed okay. He kneeled beside her "Are you alright?"
"I'm alright, just scratches really. Ganon watch out!"
Before either could react, Ghirahim had grabbed ahold of Ganon, and disappeared with a snap of his fingers, and an array of diamonds.
Anji brought down another Bokoblin "You really are terrible at that thing!" She said, while making a face at a particularly sour note Nolan had played.
"Shut up! This instrument isn't really that easy. At least it's not my papa's harp. Look how seamlessly he plays that thing!" Nolan said. He was trying to remember some songs his dad had taught him, but this high stress situation made his mind blank. Finally, he thought he had the first three notes of something that sounded familiar, so he rolled with it. Unfortunately, all that happened was a weird sound, followed by a familiar statue with a blank face. He had played the elegy of emptiness.
Anji shuddered "Something tells me you shouldn't have done that!"
"Oh, Goddess! I hate this thing!" Nolan kicked the statue away from him. He put the Ocarina back to his mouth, and began trying again.
Zelda was shaken up from Ganon being taken, but knew she needed to find Link. She saw the empty statue, and hit it with a ball of light from the Dominion Rod. The blank statue came to life, and flew into battle.
Kiehs was backing up from a group of bokoblins that were surrounding him. He knew he couldn't attack without getting critically hurt. Suddenly, the lifeless statue threw itself into the bokoblins, just as Knil came running to help his lover.
Kiehs smiled, and took out the remaining monsters "Look Dark! Ben is back!"
"Kiehs, shut up and keep fighting!" Knil said shaking his head.
Ganon was dizzy, and he blinked his eyes open. Blue. There was so much blue. He waited for his eyes to adjust, and suddenly knew where he was. He had seen this place once before.
"Nabooru!" He yelled.
The red haired sage looked up, and she smiled "Lord Ganondorf!" Her outburst woke the other sages, and his presence stirred different emotions in each sage.
"I knew you were behind this, you swine." Ruto said angrily.
"There must be some mistake, Lord. Please, tell me Zelda is safe!" Impa begged.
"I've been captured," Ganon explained holding up his shackled arms "I am in no way involved with this! The Princess is safe last I saw, Impa."
"I don't trust him!" Darunia said, angrily stomping his foot.
"What choice do we really have?" Saria asked timidly.
"Yes. What choice do you really have?" Ghirahim asked sauntering in "I've captured Ganon for my own nefarious purposes of course, but I've come to realize im missing one piece of the puzzle. You see, I've heard of Seven Sages, but when I count here, I have six. I keep wondering, who could the last sage be. The Hero? Not likely. The Sheikah? I doubt it! I've made myself positively sick trying to figure this out. But then, inspiration struck! It must be the Princess!"
"Do what you will with me, but leave Zelda out of this!" Ganon pleaded.
"Oh, how noble, but unfortunately I need her to do what I want with you. I don't intend to hurt her. I need her alive."
The sages yelled and screamed at him, but he paid no mind as he snapped his fingers, and disappeared.
"I just hope he doesn't plan to do what I fear he wants to do." Impa said solemnly.
"What are you thinking, Lady Impa?" Saria asked.
The Sheikah woman took a shaky breath "A tale passed down from my ancestor of the sky, the one I'm named after. The Temple of time lies right next to a place once known as the Sealed Grounds. A place, where a creature known as the Imprisoned, the incomplete monster of the original evil, Demise, was sealed. I fear he plans to use our power to bring back this monster, to bring back his Master. This is the only reason I can think that he needs our power, and Lord Ganondorf."
"That's absolutely ludicrous! How could he achieve that?" Ganon yelled.
"By using the reincarnation of Demise, and his hatred."
"And who might that be?"
"You, Lord Ganondorf."
"Boys!" Zelda panted, finally having found Link and Sheik. "Ganon has been taken by that demon! What can we do?"
"Your guess is as good as mine! We can't seem to keep Ghirahim in one spot long enough, and bokoblins and other monsters just keep popping up!" Link yelled.
"Yelling and anger get us nowhere, Link." Sheik said calmly.
"I feel like this is all my fault. Boys, I'm sorry!" Zelda whined.
"It's not your fault, sis. I'm a legendary hero. You kind if get used to this stuff. But we do need to regroup. I can tell our fighters are getting exhausted." Link put his hand on Zelda's shoulder.
Suddenly, Ghirahim popped up behind the Princess "Oh, there you are. I've been looking for you!"
Zelda turned around, and was chest to chest with the white haired demon. She raised her dominion rod, but he quickly grabbed her wrist in a painful grip. She dropped the dominion rod from the pain.
Link went to lunge at him along with Sheik, but Ghirahim quickly put a black sword to the Princess' throat "Uh uh. One false move, and I won't hesitate to slit her throat." It was a lie on his part, but the two froze as he turned her around to show he was mockingly serious. "That's what I thought. You two aren't so stupid after all. Now, I have the beautiful maiden, so bye!" He snapped his fingers, and was gone
Link stood there, completely shell shocked while Sheik began to tremble in rage. The shorter blonde turned to the taller, and just screamed "What the hell do we do now?"
"Yelling and anger will get us nowhere?"
"I really hate you when you use my words against me!"
"Honestly, I have nothing. I wasn't prepared for that."
"Neither was I."
"We are screwed, aren't we?"
"At this point, Link, it's looking that way."
