River buried her curls in the duvet so just her curls were visible. She felt a hand on her shoulder "River?" the Doctor said quietly.
"No" River said shortly.
"Why?" the Doctor asked.
"Because I said no" River said not opening her eyes.
"River this is what I want" the Doctor said. River rolled over to face him "But it's not I want" River said her voice calm.
"River your my wife and I want to have dozens of children with you" the Doctor said.
"I've given you a child" River pointed out.
"Then give me one more" the Doctor pleaded.
"No" River said again.
"Why?"
"You know why" River snapped.
"No, I don't you've never told me" the Doctor argued.
"I shouldn't have to tell you" River snapped.
"But River what's the difference between one a two children" the Doctor said.
"There's quite a lot of difference" River told him.
"Amelia's 1 and a half now and don't you think it would be nice for her to have siblings" the Doctor suggested.
"It would be nice" River agreed.
"Well then" the Doctor said.
"My answer is unchanged I'm not going to have any more children if I can help it" River said rolling over.
"But River.." the Doctor started he was cut off by "Leave it Doctor!"
