Lenalee pushed the door of her brother's office open, with a tray of coffee in one hand. What she saw was surprising, to say the least. Komui was awake, and Allen's golem Timcanpy sat on the desk, just closing his mouth of pointy teeth. Komui looked worried. "Hey, brother!" Lenalee greeted, and immediately Komui's solemn expression changed to happiness when he saw his sister.
"Ah, my dearest Lenalee!"
"I've got you more coffee," She stated, approaching the desk and replacing his cold cup with a hot, new one.
"Thank you, Lenalee! You are the best." He took a sip from his coffee.
"So… how's Allen's mission going? I haven't seen him in a while." She added.
Komui stopped mid-sip, sighed, and removed the cup from his mouth. "Well… it's not going so well. But, thanks to him we know one thing."
"What's that?" Lenalee asked.
"That the evil wizard Voldemort has teamed up with the Earl to get one boy…" Komui answered.
"Huh…" Lenalee hummed. "Wizards….?"
"Yeah. It seems that the Headmaster of the school disappeared too." Komui shrugged. "I'm not sure what he's thinking, though."
"I hope Allen's all right."
A few days of isolation passed since his sentence to probation. Allen had been really anxious, and he hadn't seen Umbridge around much lately either. It had been a lot quieter though, since most of the students had been testing and he wasn't proctoring any of them.
He heard that Hagrid had retreated into the forbidden forest, and that McGonagall was in the infirmary. Allen wondered when it would be his turn to leave the school.
However, he was never going to leave. He had a job to do, a mission to complete.
Allen rounded a corner. He was making his way back to his office. He knew how to get there better, since he spent more time there recently. That was when he spotted a group of kids coming his way. Ginny, Luna, Fred, and George. "Uh, hey guys." Allen greeted, putting on a sporting smile. "Done with testing for today?"
"Yes." Fred quickly answered.
"We heard screaming from down the hall." Luna answered. "Harry's screaming, like he's in pain. So we decided to check it out."
"Luna!" George nudged her, but he received no response.
"Don't worry! It's just Allen."
"Just me, huh?" Allen asked, a little offended. "Anyway, let's go check it out."
They rounded the corner that Allen had just come around, and they immediately ran into Harry, Ron, and Hermione. They all looked worried, and Harry looked utterly pale. "We heard Harry yelling. What's up?" Ginny asked, before any of them could.
"Voldemort had broken into the Department of Mysteries. He's got Sirius there! He could already have the weapon!" Harry explained in a rush.
"Weapon…?" Allen muttered under his breath.
"Think, Harry! Voldemort knows you! He knows you'd rush off to save Sirius." Hermione reprimanded, looking to Allen for help. However, Allen was deep in thought.
"Professor!" Hermione snapped.
"I'm not a professor anymore, Hermione." Allen snapped back.
"There isn't anyone else… everyone from the order is gone!" Harry yelled.
Allen narrowed his eyes at that. "No, I'm still here, I can help."
"You're part of the Order?" Luna asked.
"Technically, yes." Allen shrugged. "However, even if I wasn't, I'd still be able to help you, Harry. So will everyone here."
Harry's eyes widened slightly. "Harry," Allen started again. "Do you remember what I said in the beginning of the year?" Harry just stared at him. "I told you that you weren't alone. You've got friends to support you."
"Yes, we will Harry. We will help, whether you allow it or not." Hermione stated.
Harry closed his eyes for a moment. "How?"
Hermione smiled. "Before we do anything, we need to establish that Sirius really isn't at Headquarters. Which means we'll need to break into Umbridge's office." Allen flinched at the mention of Umbridge. Nonetheless, Hermione smiled and glanced at the twins. "We'll need a good distraction."
They returned a grin. "Right you are, Hermione. Think we can whip something up, George?"
"Might be able to."
"Just give us a few seconds."
"Mind you, it's got to be really good!" Hermione reminded.
"Not to worry, Hermione. We've got something that will outdue everything else we've done so far combined."
"It's been too quiet around here anyway."
"Time we did some real damage to this place." With that, the twins turned and began to whisper among themselves.
Hermione looked up in thought. "We'll also need to keep everyone away from her office."
"We can do that! Me and Luna'll guard the hallway." Ginny said.
Fred and George turned back to the group. "Right. You've got ten minutes to get to Umbridge's office. And whatever you do, stay away from the Astronomy Tower for the next couple of hours."
"Unless they spread, in which case, I'd get out of the castle for a while."
Then, after all was said, they left to do what needs to be done. Harry, Hermione, and Allen stood alone in the hallway. "Er… Allen," Hermione started.
"Huh? What?" Allen asked.
"Well, you seemed a little quiet, that's all."
Allen sighed. "I'm not too excited about going near Umbridge, or her office. I didn't even know she had an office here."
Harry and Hermione suddenly had huge grins on their faces. "What…?" Allen asked cautiously.
"Don't worry about Umbridge seeing you. We've got that covered." Hermione said, and Harry rummaged in his bag for something. When Harry brought it out, Allen saw a nice-looking cloak which had star patterns on it.
"What's that supposed to do?" Allen asked.
"It's an invisibility cloak." Harry answered. "I got it for Christmas a couple years ago."
"Invisibility?" Allen asked, and Harry nodded.
"I'll show you…" Harry wrapped the cloak around his body, and… only his head showed. "See?"
Allen's eyes widened. "Wow!"
"Ok, we can't dawdle forever boys." Hermione snapped. "Let's go."
They managed to wrap the cloak around all three of them, and Allen was surprised he could see through the cloak. Quickly they made their way through the halls, and eventually found Umbridge's office.
Allen went to open the door, but was immediately pulled back by the two of them. He was quickly explained to how weird a door opening by itself would look, and Allen quietly apologized to them. Then the castle shook from a nearby explosion, and after a couple moments, the trio held their breath as Umbridge and Filch darted out of the office with smug faces on.
Before the door could close, Harry, Hermione, and Allen entered the office and threw off the cloak. Harry quickly ran to the fireplace, and grabbed a fist-full of green powder. Allen raised an eyebrow at it. "Floo powder." Hermione answered an unspoken question, and Harry stepped into the fireplace.
"Oh."
"Grimmauld Place!" Harry stated as clearly as he could.
Then he was engulfed in flames, and disappeared in a huff. Allen shrieked. "Is he ok?"
"He's fine. Probably at Grimmauld Place." Hermione reassured. "You know, for being a Professor at Defense against the Dark Arts, you seem surprised by a lot of magical things."
"So?" Allen shrugged. "I've spent more of my time in books, rather than the real world."
Hermione raised an eyebrow. "So have I, yet, I have more experience than you do."
Before Allen could answer, a couple of brooms that were latched onto the walls of Umbridge's office freed themselves and flew out of the room. This time, both Allen and Hermione shrieked.
