Natsu had no idea what to feel towards the people who are responsible of this… anger? Oh, he was furious! Hatred? He despised them! Harsh? No, more like vicious! Revengeful? He was lusting the blood of the person who did this!
Someone in this world thought they can mess with him? They really think they can escape their fate of agonizing death that will be served by his own hands?

He is Natsu Dragneel, most ruthless gangster in all of Fiore, leader of the feared Fairy Tail, he was Salamander Natsu…
Natsu was snapped out of his dangerous thoughts, when he heard the door being opened.
"Out," Natsu hissed dangerously before even seeing who the person was.
"I'm sorry Dragneel-san, I should have knocked. I'm Dr. Smith and I'm here to tell you about the patient's state." The doctor announced in a well hidden terrified voice.
Natsu looked at the doctor for him to continue, "You see Dragneel-san, the young lady went to the case known as over dose, its bit common with teenagers who are addicted to drugs and take more than their bodies can take, but the girl is a different case. It seems that someone has sold her cookies that were dosed with drugs."
Natsu looked at the doctor emotionlessly, so someone drugged my girlfriend, huh?
"The drugs that were used were three of the most dangerous drugs, meth, cocaine and heroin. Seeing the amount that was in her system it is a miracle she survived. Heroin alone is known to kill people who overdose it. The good part was there wasn't much as the rest in her body, but it doesn't mean that the other two weren't endangering her life. The chance of her surviving the whole thing was a mere 20%."
Natsu looked at the man with a dark look, "but, she survived didn't she? Her life isn't in danger anymore, is it?"
The doctor fixed his glasses, "we did our best cleansing her body, but due to the heavy amount of drugs that were taken by her body, and were taken by food which makes it more effective, she is in a coma-state manner. She fought the first battle and now she has to win the war."
Natsu stood up angrily, "CAN'T YOU DO ANYTHING TO MAKE SURE SHE WAKES UP?!"
"Dragneel-san, we did our job the rest is up to her."
Natsu bowed down his head, his bangs now covering his eyes, "Listen here Smith, you're job isn't complete until she wakes up and if she doesn't wake up…" his head shot up and his eyes had a murderous glint in them, "you aren't either…"
The doctor gulped and started shaking, his up and until now controlled fear was showing, "B-but D-Dragneel-san…"
"NO BUTS!" Natsu bellowed, "you wanna live? She better live…"
The doctor was out, Natsu turned to Lucy, "because whoever did this to short stacks isn't going to live…"

It's been three days since Lucy has entered her coma like manner, Natsu was beginning to feel depressed. He hadn't realized how much this girl had an effect on him in less than a year and they have been dating for almost a month now…
The others were just devastated, many of them tried to cover their sadness up but, it didn't take an expert to read their eyes.
Gajeel and Gray were taking their anger by beating people who thought they were gangsters, Jellal and Erza were taking comfort with each other, Mira and Lisanna busied themselves with work be it schoolwork or work at the tavern, Cana doubled her already large amount of drinking and Levy buried herself in books…
The other members who knew Lucy from the tavern and as their leader's girlfriend busied themselves with gang work and tried to continue their lives normally…but they were worried for the bubbly blonde.
Natsu was glad Wendy, Romeo, Lily and Charla weren't here and were still on that trip. But, it was hard telling Happy…
"L-Lucy… c-coma?" Happy ironically sounded not happy.
"Yeah bud…"
"I know this isn't the time to tell you this, but the three drugs that were used on Lucy were reported by different gangs to be missing…" Happy changed the subject not wanting to burden his best friend with his own sadness.
"Missing Drugs? The fuck?"
"Gangs who trade drugs are complaining about some gang who ambushes and kills their drug traders and steal the drugs…"
"Cocaine, heroin and meth only?" Natsu asked suspiciously.
"Well, not really other drugs as well… opium, Temazepam, GHB and the list goes on…"
"Do you have a lead on who is it?"
"Not yet…"
"Well, you know what to do then…"
"Roger that…"

Unlike before today Natsu just felt horrible, weak, hopeless, empty…
Why?
It's been a week since Lucy has opened her eyes and today was their one month anniversary and she hadn't awoken yet…
Natsu wasn't usually one to remember this stuff because he never was in a serious relationship or even cared about one.
But Lucy had been making plans for today…
He remembered her shinning eyes as she told him her plans, which amused Natsu to no end…
He smiled sadly as he recalled the conversation….
"Oh! Oh! Senpai! We'll go to the park and then to the bridge then have dinner at that cute little café and then we go to the cliff and we…"
"Make-out?"
He remembered how her face became so red that smoke seemed to be coming out of her ears and her stuttering…
"s-s-s-senpai!"
"What? You like it don't you Short Stacks?" and then he teased her all afternoon until he noticed she was about to faint…
Natsu got overwhelmed and stormed out of the room to go get a drink to stop his damn thinking…

He was drinking… you know, the common way people seem to deal with their problems these days, instead of sensibly being patient and working it out, people tend to find the easy way out.
Natsu wasn't at Love and Lucky, not wanting any of the gang members to know how much Lucy's comatose affected him. He knew they knew that he was worried, but that didn't mean they knew how much.
He was at a random bar waiting from his 15 drink of the night; it was obvious he was a bit tipsy not hammered like he wants…
"Here bud, you seem like you need this…" the person next to him slid a drink to him, "its strong, it'll make you forget…"
"What is it?" Natsu spoke lowly.
The man chuckled, "it's the Green Fairy and Everclear together…"
Natsu turned to him, "does that even taste good?" he asked absurd by the choice of mix of two of the strongest drinks in the world.
"For me yeah, for others it's too strong." The man joked.
"I need strong," Natsu murmured and he gulped the big mug clear, not thinking about how dangerous drinking two of the strongest drinks together…
Natsu could feel his taste buds burn out and his mind go hazy so he finally decided to go home, he called Cana, the only person he trusts in these situations other than Happy and Lucy, who surprisingly was in the same area as him and she picked the drunken leader up.
The man, who had given the pinkette the drink, smirked darkly and dialed a number.
"Yes, Midnight?" the person on the other line answered.
"The lab rat has been given the test variable…" the man identified as Midnight said in serial killer tone.
A chuckle could be heard on the other line, "well done Midnight…" and then the person's voice with from humorous to dark, "let the experiment begin…"
Midnight laughed and closed the line, "I wonder how Nirvana will affect Dragneel?" he wondered as he looked at his drink. An evil smirk appeared, "this will be interesting…"
And done! Hehe, I feel so evil doing that to Natsu! Please tell me what you think! And once more please don't tell me to update, really I get motivated more when I read your opinions of the chapter not the word update… I really want to know how I did…
