Aspen Victoria Elaina Stark

She needed to escape after her painful encounter with Adrian the night before. Tonight she decided she would fly into the city. She was bored of the plain surroundings of the bunker, the city would be much more interesting.

She flew for only a short bit before looking down at the grid of New York City, beautiful and bright. She smiled to herself and hummed a little made-up song before diving in close to the towers. She purposefully avoided Avengers Tower though, it brought back painful memories, and seeing the remains would only make her think of her father. She didn't want to think about anything right now.

As she flew closer to the buildings she made out the shape of a human figure dashing across the tops, leaping and bounding through the shadows. She smirked. "I wonder what that's about." She muttered, and flew in closer to get a look. The tall young man finally stopped at one of the buildings, and seemed to be hacking into something at the top, a door keypad.

"JARVIS, what building is this?" She asked.

"It appears that this is SHIELD HQ, Miss Stark." JARVIS replied.

"Huh..." She hadn't recognized it from above. "Well, this is just interesting." She pulled around and landed right beside him. The moment she saw him, despite the darkness, she recognized him as the young man who had taken Clint. This was the young man that Maggie and Finley so 'affectionately' called "Tyr's Pet".

"You!" Aspen gasped, "Put your hands in the air, drop whatever you've got there! Now!" She raised her arm and pointed the palm of her hand at him.

"Miss Stark." The young man stood with a smirk that once again seemed disturbingly familiar. "What a pleasure."

"I ought to kill you right now for what you've done." Aspen hissed, thinking of Ward. The picture of the crime scene flashed through her head and it sent shivers down her spine.

"What I've done? All I've done is been a messenger." He snorted.

"Who are you really?" Aspen snapped, "Asgardian? Midgardian? What?"

"My ancestry is none of your business." He snarled.

"Well, you probably should start talking before I blow a hole straight through your middle. Tell me who you are? How can I get into the Realm Above the Realms? My father, is he alright? Answer me!"

"That's quite a lot of questions. Which would you like to start with?" He smirked.

"What's your name?" Aspen snapped, "Murderer." The young man's eyes widened, then he glared.

"Who do you think I killed?"

"Agent Grant Ward, you killed him, we know you did."

"I didn't kill anyone!" He cried, "I'm not a murderer, I'm just the tech genius. I fix things, not destroy them!"

"Well..." Aspen paused, lowering her arm. "That means... that means you must be Arthur Anthony Erikson." He looked over at her in sudden horror.

"Where did you hear that name?" He asked softly.

"French Birth Records, genius. Your birth records were in SHIELD databases."

"But... That's... that's impossible! I wasn't born on earth... I was... That's impossible!"

"Umm... the records say otherwise." Aspen frowned.

"No!" He spun around, screaming, "PORTAL!"

"Wait! No!" Aspen screamed, "Don't you dare!" She raised her arm, and shot again, but it was too late. The portal sucked the young man back to the Realm above the Realms, and her shot went right through white light and exploded at the top of the building. "Damn it! Fucking Asgardian portals!"

Eric Matthew Banner

"Hey guys." Eric collapsed onto the sofa in the living room where the twins were playing the x-box.

"Hey." Josh said softly, and he began shooting at his brother in the game.

"Got you!" James cried out triumphantly as he came out victorious over his twin.

"How's school going?" Eric asked. They had been making the two youngest go to school still. Noah drove them to the end of their driveway where they walked to the bus stop. (They're driveway was ridiculously long). They both hated it, of course, because it was unfair. The highschoolers didn't go to school why did they have to?

"Because Elsa Jean, Helena, Irina, and Katie are all closer to being done. It'll be easier for them to catch up. Besides what would mom and dad say if you fell behind? Don't you want to have awesome jobs when you grow up?" Noah always said.

"Umm... yeah, exactly why I shouldn't go to school." Josh replied. "I want to be a ninja."

"And I want to be a consulting detective, like in Sherlock Holmes." Noah would laugh and shake his head.

"Get in the car, you're going to school. Besides, how do you think Ninjas and Consulting detectives became so smart?"

"You mean Sherlock Holmes went to normal school?" James asked skeptically.

"Yes. I assure you, he did."

"School's fine." Josh muttered a reply to Eric's question.

"School's stupid." James shrugged.

"School's not stupid." Eric frowned. "Josh, what do you really want to be when you grow up?" Josh sighed and looked down at his hands.

"I want to be a SHIELD agent." He whispered.

"What division?" Eric asked.

"Field Agent, like mom and dad."

"Honorable, but school's important for that."

"I know." He groaned.

"What about you, James?" Eric asked.

"I... I want to join the navy, like Noah." James said. "Or... or be a SHIELD agent- a Specialist."

"Both of those require schooling."

"I know..." James sighed.

"What's wrong? Both of you have been acting so childish lately?" Eric frowned.

"It's just... I wish mom and dad were here." Josh shrugged. "It's stupid. We want to help you guys, but Noah won't let us."

"Yeah! We want to help find mom and dad, and the others!" James snapped. "Why won't you guys let us?"

"It's dangerous!" Eric frowned, "You're both only thirteen."

"Elsa Jean and Helena are only three years older than us!" Josh replied angrily. "Why can't we fight!" Eric sighed.

"Look, both of you are growing up to be strong young men, I'm sure when the time comes you can help. We'll see what happens, okay? I'll ask Noah to think about some things you two can do, as long as you keep doing your school work!"

"Alright! Thanks, Eric." James nodded, a serious look on his face, and in that instant Eric saw Steve Rogers in him.

"Yes. Thanks!" Josh smiled brightly.

"Of course."

Alexei Andrew Romanoff-Barton

"Irina? What are you doing hiding in here?" Alexei stood at the doorway of his sister's room. She sat on her bed, her knees pressed against her chest, she was writing in her dark purple-red journal furiously, an angry expression written across her face.

"I don't want to talk to you." She said shortly.

"Come on." He frowned. "Why not? What's wrong?"

"Go away, Yosha!" She cried, pulling her journal away from his sight as he drew near her bed.

"'Rina, what's wrong?" Alexei asked again, sitting at the foot of her bed. For a minute she glared at him defiantly, but then she slammed her journal shut and threw it aside. Swiping red curls away from her eyes she reply with a frustrated snort.

"Naomi is the most infuriating person on this planet!" She snapped.

"I think you've got a case of prejudice." Alexei frowned, "You've not even tried to get to know her."

"That's because-! Augh! You'll never understand! I wish dad was here, he'd get it!" Alexei wished a thousand times that Clint was here as well. Irina told their father everything, and something was troubling the red head for sure.

"Come on, Irina, you can tell me!" He smiled kindly.

"No, I can't! I don't want to get to know Naomi because she's a bitch and all she does is pine after Noah. Oh Noah, let me help you. Oh Noah, we can train together. Oh Noah, I don't know how to work this, can you show me? Oh Noah..." Alexei understood suddenly in that moment and he resisted the urge to laugh or tease.

"Irina, settle down. I'm sure Naomi just wants to be good friends with Noah."

"I'm not stupid, Alexei. She's totally in to him and it's unbelievably annoying for people like me who really do just want to be friends with Noah." Right, friends. Alexei grinned. "IT'S NOT FUNNY, YOSHA!" Irina screamed. He couldn't resist any longer.

"Someone's jealous." He said, in a sing-song voice.

"Get out!" Irina snarled. "You're such a jerk."

"Someone likes Noah!" He sang. Irina cursed him in Russian.

"Hey, hey!" Alexei frowned, "What would Mama say if she heard you talking like that."

"She'd say, 'Gospodi, who taught you that? Oh, right, me.' Get out, Alyosha, before I shoot you in the face." She grabbed her bow threateningly.

"Alright, jeez, I'm leaving. Gospodi." He stood, grinning, "Just leave Naomi alone, things will work out." Irina grabbed the tissue box on her bedside table and threw it at his chest with perfect aim.

"GET OUT!" She screamed. He laughed as he left, and sighed.

Poor Irina. Too bad Naomi's here, but there's no way she's going to win over 'rina. Noah's already smitten.
