26. HIATUS

Dear FFnet,

Sir Zesto here with some unfortunate news.

I have hit some writer's block on this story. I realized that I have deviated very far from the original story in both concept, style, and content. So, I will be taking a temporary hiatus to sort out what I am doing with this story. IT IS NOT DEAD. I will be back because I want to finish it. I just realized that an integral part of the story is skewed now because of what I have done. The idea I have to fix it will take a lot of re-planning what I had in mind. Also, I am taking the crew polls. They were not working as I intended. I will continue to take suggestions, but the final decision will be my own.

As a side note, the story is renamed! It is not "The Bartel Chronicles." The reason why I did this is that I want it to be out from under the original work's shadow. There will be a second story to cover post-skip and a potential third story to go over the skip itself.

I also put up a new story to take this one's place for the time being called "A Man Forgotten," so make sure to check it out! It's another Naruto OC, but not in the way that you would expect. Forum for it will be up by Wednesday. Thank you to all the avid fans and readers of this work. I hope to get it up and running again soon, so stay tuned.
