Chapter 22 Goodnight
"What would you say if I was your sister?"- Kohana Kazumi
Recap:
While Kohana was busy…mentally scolding herself ,the little girl looked at her, sniffling. She stopped her scolding and looked back at the girl and started to wipe her tears with her thumb. "I-It's Iz-Izumi."
The red-eyed girl's eyes widened.
"I-Izumi?"
-Present (Third Person's POV)-
Kohana looked at her long-lost-sister in disbelief, " Kohana Izumi?"
The said girl shrugged at her, "Just Izumi. I forgot what my last name was," She confessed sheepishly.
The blacknette nodded at and enveloped her in a tight embrace, "I'm sorry."
"Eh? What are you sorry for?" Izumi asked as Kohana released her and looked at her, a small smile on her face.
"What would you say if I was your sister?" She asked. The other blacknette looked at her with wide eyes before tears started to fall from your eyes.
"Y-you're my nee-san?"
"Uh-huh," The other nodded.
Izumi looked at her 'sister' in disbelief before jumping out of bed and in her sister's arms. Luckily, Kohana caught her in surprise just as they were about to fall from the ground.
"Nee-san!" The younger chanted again and again, her voice full of happiness and joy as she hugged her sister. Her sister on the other hand, smiled as she kissed her forehead.
-Timeskip-
Kohana left the hospital, her smile never leaving her face as she skipped merrily to her house.
"Kazumi-chan~" A familiar voice of a brunette called. The blacknette turned around and came face to face with...
"Ryuu. How did your day with Kyoya went?" She asked, staring at the panting male in front of her.
"How did it went?! He chased me around town all day long! If I hadn't tripped, I wouldn't have been beaten up by him! Ugh...I hate him!" Ryuu explained as he showed Kohana his bruises and to which she just shrugged off.
"Mou! Kazumi-chan is so mean!" He exclaimed.
"Hey. It's your fault you tripped, not mine," She replied back. And the both of them argued until they reached Kohana's house.
"Kazumi-chan~ I'm hungry!"
"Then eat something."
"Feed me!"
"Feed yourself."
"I want to eat your cooking."
"Cook yourself."
"Aww~ Please!"
"No."
"Yes!"
"No."
"YES."
"Yes."
"NO!"
"Then no it is," Kohana smirked as Ryuu fell for her trap.
"Eh?! No fair!" He whined. The red-eyed girl sighed at him before going inside, dragging the brunette.
"Fine. I'll cook for you but on one condition," Ryuu nodded, "DO. NOT. ENTER. MY. HOUSE. WITHOUT. MY. PERMISSION."
The brunette was about to protest but nodded nonetheless.
"Good, now go wait in the dining room."
"Okay!"
-Timeskip-
"Thank you for the meal!" Ryuu exclaimed as he patted his now full stomach.
"Great. Now, GET OUT."
The brunette pouted as he went to the door, "Goodnight Kazumi-chan," He muttered sadly.
"Goodnight Ryuu." Kohana replied as the said boy broke out into a grin as he skipped happily on the streets of Namimori.
"Kazumi-chan said goodnight to me!" He said dreamily, "Now if I can get her to say I love you~"
