A loud roar echoed through the building as Ben and I ran to where I assumed the leader of this operation would be. I saw Ben freeze in front of me as the hideout shook. I stood still in place as I watched walls begin to crumble.

"We need to hurry," Ben ordered as he gripped my hand, dragging me along the corridor. I pulled my hand back and soon began running alongside him. It was strange, how there were no Team Black members, or even any Pokémon for that matter.

"Something's wrong," I whispered as we reached the end of the corridor. Ben and I looked around the room we had previously been in. Large test tubes lay shattered on the ground, machines crackled before exploding on themselves.

"What the hell happened in here?!" Ben yelled as he looked around the room. I frowned, looking at the trail of orange ooze that lead to the other side of the room.

"We need to follow that," I ordered as I jumped over a barrier and ran passed various exploding computers. Ben followed my lead, narrowly missing some explosions.

A large screen in the room soon lit up brightly, though no face or figure showed on the screen, it seemed to be just static.

"You think you can escape from here? Stop us and save the world, huh?" that voice, I knew that voice. I growled, balling my fists as I gripped a large piece of metal.

"This will be the end of you Rangers and the world. Everyone will perish in flames before the world starts a new," the voice and screen cut off their. I threw the large piece of metal at it, shattering it into a million pieces.

How? How was he still alive?! How could he be? I killed him! He should be dead! This shouldn't be happening!

I fell to my knees, suddenly short of breath, my stomach feel weak as I help myself up by my hands. I felt Ben's hand on my shoulder as he knelt down next to me.

I could take any more of this, everything, it had to end. It just had to. I don't think I could handle much more of this. I wanted out. I wanted a normal life. I wanted to return to the Union and be with my friends again.

But now he's here, and I will never be able to return to the life I once had. If only I never joined Darkness, if only I never met Ben, if only I never listened to him, everything would be so much easier. But I did join Darkness, I did meet Ben and I did listen to him and create a better life.

"Summer?" his voice snapped me from my thoughts as he looked up, my eyes void of emotion. "Everything's gonna be okay," and that was it, that was all he said with that damn optimistic smile of him. Something about that smile, it gave me hope, hope that we could win and everyone would be alright. I found myself smiling as he pulled me to my feet.

"Yeah," I couldn't muster myself to say anything else. Quickly, I turned away as tears began filling my eyes and began walking to where the ooze was leading. Ben followed behind me.

It lead us to a dark corridor. I couldn't see a thing in front of me, not even my own hand. But somehow the strange ooze seemed to glow slight, lighting the floor up.

"You ready?" Ben asked as he looked ahead of us. I gulped slightly, what lied ahead next neither of us knew, but we had to go on. We had to find out and save the world.

"Let's go," I answered as I began walking forwards. My hands balled into fists as we walked to the end of the cave like corridor. My eyes squinted as we reached a source of light.

"Summer!" Ben yelled as he rushed forwards. He tackled me onto the ground in time for an arrow to fly by my head.

"Damn, I missed the bitch," a voice hissed. I looked up, Black Eyes stood in front of us with an evil glare on his face. Ben and I quickly stood up as we were surrounded by Team Black members and their highest ranker, Black Eyes himself.

"I was wondering when I'd see you again," I growled as I cracked my knuckles. "I'm gonna enjoy kicking your ass to hell and back," I smirked as I readied a fighting position.

"Hold fire!" Black Eyes ordered. "We have orders to allow the girl to face our leader herself," he added. I looked at him in a sort of weird shock. Ben glared at the older man, balling his fists.

"Who is your leader!" he demanded, Black Eyes only laughed at him.

"You won't live long enough to find out, boy! Our leader wants her and that's it," Black Eyes grinned in reply as his eyes lit up with a sort of maniacal gleam. "Kill the boy. Leave the girl alive," he ordered and quickly the ambush surrounding us charged.

I felt myself being pushed out of the way as Ben began defending himself. I looked back at him in shock as Black Eyes grabbed my arms.

"Ben!" I yelled as I watched the ambush attack him. Ben looked at me, that same stupid optimistic smile on his damn lips.

"Go find their leader! I can deal here!" he ordered, Black Eyes quickly dragged me away from the group, leading me down another corridor.

"Be safe you damn idiot," I whispered as we reached another room. I looked at Black Eyes, that damn look in his eyes was creeping me the hell out. I have the feeling I might be in a spot of trouble as well.

I looked around the ground. The orange ooze trail had stopped, I couldn't see it anywhere. My instincts soon kicked in as I realised he wasn't taking me to their leader at all.

I quickly turned around, my fists balled ready to hit the damn bastard, only for him to block it. A devilish smirk made its way onto his face as he growled at me.

"Catch on fast, don't you, Oris?" my eyes widened as I retracted my fists. We stood in the hallway for a moment or so, neither of us said a word.

"What are you planning?" I asked once I couldn't take the silence anymore.

"I told you, our leader wants to kill you himself," Black Eyes answered as he took a step forwards. "As for your friend, well, let's say he won't live to see the next five minutes," he added holding up a remote. My eyes widened in terror.

"Your own men are in there!" I stated, hoping to Arceus he was bluffing.

"I know," he replied as he pushed the button. An explosion sounded from behind me and in a second my world seemed to shatter around me. I turned around, everything felt slow and lifeless as I took off running towards the room we had come from.

"Ben!" I screamed as I reached the room, it was closed off. Boulders and rubble had fallen in place of the exit. There was no way in and no way out.

I fell to my knees, tears appearing in my eyes as I gripped one of the rocks.

"Hah, that went better than what I expected!" Black Eyes yelled from behind me. I felt him kneel down behind me. "Don't worry Oris, you'll be joining him soon enough," and as quickly as my tears started they stopped and my body became numb.

"Move away from me," I ordered. My voice was hollow, there was no emotion in it. Black Eyes moved away as I stood to my feet. I gripped a small rock in my hands as I stood, I turned slightly, my eyes landing on the trail of orange ooze.

"Ever heard the saying 'An eye for an eye'?" I asked as I looked at Black Eyes, who scoffed. My hair fell in front of my eyes as I smirked slightly. I threw the rock at him. It flew through the air quickly and before I knew what I had done, Black Eyes was laying on the ground, a hole through his skull where the rock had taken out his eyes.

I loomed over him, a deadly glare on my features as I watched his blood pool from his school. I scoffed myself, disgusting, even his blood was horrible.

"An eye for an eye. You not only kill my comrade but your own men too. Whether innocent or not, none of them deserved to die. Rot in hell, you evil piece of shit," I spat as I turned form the dead man and began following the trail of ooze once more.

I was so sick of this hideout, so sick of everything happening in this damn world. I was going to end this, to end everything that had happened over the past year.

Another roar shook the hideout, this one harder than the other. Groudon was closing in, I hoped the others could keep it at bay until this was resolved.

The ooze slowly began to end. I was in a different room. This one full of machines that seemed to be pointing at a large blue lump in the water.

I quickly ran towards the machines, only to be blasted back by some sort of barrier.

"You won't make it passed that barrier without being one of the chosen ones," a voice stated.

"Chosen one?" I asked as I looked at the glowing waves coming off from the machine. I growled, they had taken the idea from the Pinchers. What the hell was going on?! Was I dealing with three teams in one? Or one maniac that took three different teams ideas?

"Yes, chosen one. Your heart is too dark and therefore you shall not pass through the barrier."

"And I suppose your hearts are made of pure gold?" I asked as I looked around. I could see Jayden laid on the floor. He was white as a sheet and lifeless.

"No, but we are not murderers like you."

"Bullshit! One of your damn men just killed my partner and you own!" I yelled as I turned around. Where the heck was this voice coming from?! I wanted to kill it! It was so familiar, it terrified me!

"True, but were you not the person who killed that man?"

"An eye for an eye!"

"But now you're out for our blood. To kill the rest of us."

"Because of all the pain you've caused! You shouldn't be allowed to live but I won't kill you! I'll let Officer Jenny deal with that!" I yelled, the voice around me seemed to laugh. I froze slightly, my body began trembling, I was scared.

"You think a little officer will be able to hold me?" I watched as shadows began to appear around the room. Darkness seemed to become all I could see. A cold, eerie darkness that wouldn't let me go.

"What's going on?!" I yelled as I looked around, I tried to move but it was like I was pinned to the ground.

"You're scared, are you not? I can terrify you and become your worst nightmare. Or… have I already made you live that?"

My worst nightmare? I never had nightmares, did I? I thought back to everything, my father, my brother and mother. The Union, Kate, Keith and…. Ben…. I closed my eyes as I pictured his smiling face and soon a smile began to grace my lips.

"I've already lived my nightmare," I whispered as I opened my eyes. "But just because I've lived it does not mean I won't fight for what's right! They're all here! They're all with me and I'll be damned if I ever let you get the better of me!" I yelled into the darkness.

"Stubborn little child. Very well, if I cannot scare you like this, maybe I should try my very last tactic," the voice echoed as the darkness began to disappear.

Once it disappeared I could see a cloaked figure standing in front of me. I smirked as it took a few steps forwards into the light. It didn't make any move to remove the hood that covered its face and silence fell upon us.

"Show yourself to me, unless you're scared," I ordered, my voice strong as I balled my fists.

"No my child, it is you who is going to be…. Should I say terrified. After this experience, I guarantee, you will be scarred for life," the voice laughed as it held its hands out. I flinched as I looked at the slightly decomposing skin on its hands. What the hell was going on?

"Enough, show me who you are!" I ordered as I gritted my teeth, this thing was really getting under my skin now.

"My dear child, I'm ashamed you don't remember me. I mean after all," the figure paused as its hand gripped its hood. "You did kill me," my eyes widened as I looked at the person under the hood.

I took a step backwards, fear engulfing my body as I began to tremble. I backed up into the barrier, ignoring the pain its waves sent through my. I felt sick, sick to my stomach. It was him, but how? The only thing different about him were his eyes, they were a dark glowing red.

I found myself soon doubled over as I threw my insides up. I held my mouth afterwards as a stench reached my ears, tears began falling from my eyes.

It couldn't really be him, there was absolutely no way. I couldn't face him, not again. It was hard enough the first time but now…. Now he looked like something out of a horror film. His decomposing skin and those damn eyes. Something was possessing him, and I had to do something.

Straightening myself up I looked at the dead man stood before me. Biting my lips I contemplated my opportunities. But once I saw no way out of this I took a step forwards.

The man had been waiting so patiently for me to my mind up of what to do. He stood there with a grin on his face as he stared me down. I sighed, I nodded my head once, composing myself slightly.

It was time, this was the final battle and I would have to face him again…

"You chose to fight?" the man asked me.

"Yes, I chose to fight," I answered. The man nodded his head as he and I both readied a fighting position.

I never thought it would come to anything like this in my life. But I will not lose this battle, not even if every whim of me was terrified, I would fight on and save this world for my friends.

So for my friends and for this world, I would take him down.

Father Dearest.
