I still have major (writers block) problems with this story. I am stuck, what to do with the baby, what to do with Regina's ever growing powers. Suggestions are welcome even if it's just to start my writing again on this story. I've got several others going but with this one arghhhhh.

Chapter 26

Regina woke up due to the fact that someone was very active. She blamed it on the food she had eaten with Tinkerbell that evening. She shouldn't have taken that particular dish. She got up out of bed, making sure she didn't wake up Richard and left for the living room downstairs. She slowly lowered herself on the couch and groaned, this wasn't something that was caused by the food she had eaten, her little girl was turning, oh lord she was definitely turning.

Regina took a quiet moment to 'order' some of the books from the Fairies near her and started reading. She was interrupted several times by her little girl's desire to turn and get in place for the delivery but after a little while everything died down and mother and daughter were actually enjoying the night together, both wide awake and her daughter sure as hell made that known.

When Richard woke up that same morning he immediately noticed that someone was missing. He got worried, she usually slept in late. He bolted for the stairs and found her in the living room, surrounded by books on the couch.

'He, why are you here'

'Our daughter decided it was time to turn and I didn't want to wake you up'

'You should have, I would have been here for you'

'It wasn't that bad, I mean I felt it but it was nothing I couldn't handle but you know what, I am going to bed right now. The books I took from the Fairies made up for some interesting reading material and I lost track of time'

'You mean those books you stole'

'Hey, they told me I could take them' Regina slapped him playfully and yawned. 'I am heading off to bed then, what are you going to do'

'I taught I put in some work in my new office' Richard replied. Regina had surprised him this week with a whole new office in one of the rooms downstairs. She had gone all out, all he needed was right there at his fingertips.

'Don't forget you have an appointment with Whale this afternoon'

'Argh, I don't really want to go. I mean I went yesterday, couldn't he have done his tests all at once'

'Honey, we need to know what is the new normal with you. This way he can compare them with yesterday'

'I know, I know' Regina replied 'but that still doesn't mean I have to like it' She had reluctantly agreed to visit Whale mainly due to both Richards and Henry's insistence and when Regina had finally relented Henry immediately set up the appointment.

'Have the books you read help any'

Regina shook her head. 'they don't tell me much, some books mention the change and that with the change comes great power but that is about it, they don't go into detail a whole lot. Not one of them mention how the White Fairy disappeared, left or died for that matter of fact but I still have several more books to go so maybe it's in one of them'

That afternoon Regina walked into the hospital with Richard and Henry at her side.

'This isn't necessary you know, it's just some few tests'

'We know you don't trust Whale….' Richard started.

'neither do we' Henry butted in. 'So here we are'

All three were waiting for Whale who and when he did enter was rather surprised at the site of Richard and Henry. Whale had expected Robin to be there as well but Regina quickly explained that Robin had called to say that this time he had to skip due to the fact that Roland had to go and see a dentist for the first time.

'First of all' Richard started 'We want to know what you are going to do' and Henry ended. Regina chuckled but soon realized that her men were keeping her out of the entire conversation. What the hell, she thought. She was the one pregnant and turning into a white Fairy Queen.

Whale sat down and started to explain every single test he was about to do, when Regina scraped her throat.

'Excuse me, if I could mention something.' Whale, Richard and Henry turned towards Regina and the three men had the decency to turn red.

'She turned last night' said Regina pointing towards her bulging stomach.

'Oh, that's good' Whale said. He pointed towards to table. 'If you would be so kind'

Regina nodded. 'On one condition..'

'Every test you take, you explain every step and only if I agree with what you are doing I'll let you do it'

Whale agreed and talked Regina through every test. He took some blood, tested her blood pressure, checked the baby's growth, Regina's heart rate, baby's heart rate and several other things. He even went as far as to weigh Regina, who was none too pleased about that. She muttered something about not wanting to how much she weighed, since it was plain to see she was the seize of a whale. Richard and Henry chuckled but were quickly silenced by one of Regina's glares.

After all that was done all three stood outside with several recommendations and the promise to get the results of her blood test as soon as possible.

'So you've got some weight gaining to do, Mom'

'Oh drop it, Henry. I am doing just fine'

'Well maybe you are but if I may speak for this little one. She still has some growing to do before she is ready to pop out' Richard spoke to the belly.

'Good morning, Regina' Blue said. She was walking up the hospital.

'What happened to the last White Fairy Queen, where did she go. I haven't found much in the books you gave me' Regina blurted out towards Blue. The Fairy Godmother was slightly taken aback by the direct approach but recovered quickly but just as she was about to speak.

'Oh, my God. I just thought of something. We have to go back to Whale. I forgot to ask' Regina exclaimed all of a sudden, completely forgetting Blue all of a sudden.

'What..what is wrong?' Richard said. He gently turned Regina towards him. She had tears in her eyes.

'Will my child come out looking like me' Regina whispered 'I mean she'll look like freak. I don't mind myself but she didn't choose this, hell I didn't choose this either but she certainly didn't'

'She'll be fine'

'No, she won't.' Regina yelled. Her emotions took over. The ground started to shake. Blue had to grab on to something so she wouldn't fall. Henry grabbed the side of the car. Richard held on to Regina.

'Regina, calm down' Blue said through clenched teeth, she was still holding on to the streetlight nearby.

'I won't calm down'

The ground rumbled, it was getting worse.

'Regina, you are causing an earth quake'

'I am what..' Regina steadied herself and silence ensued. 'I did that?'

Blue nodded.

'Oh, god what will happen when I give birth. I certainly cannot control my emotions then, I'll be in pain. The people of Story Brook are right. I am a danger to this town' Regina was having a full blown panic attack. Blue simply slapped her in the face.

'He, don't slap my mom!' Henry exclaimed and slapped Blue in the face. Regina began to laugh at the sheer ludicracy of it all. Soon all four of them were laughing.. Their little group was an odd sight to see on the streets of Story Brook.

When everything died down Regina made Henry apologize to Blue who in return apologized to Regina.

'I know why you did but like I said and I may have said it in panic but what will happen if I go into labour. I cannot destroy the town can I' Regina looked at Blue, who shrugged her shoulders. 'I don't know, Regina this is all uncharted terrority. I have no idea what will happen, I don't know if you child will come out all white. I wish I could help but I can't'
