Nothing much happened the next few months. Hermes eventually captured the flag from the Aphrodite cabin (shocker), Melanie visited home over the holidays. She decided that she liked camp better though. Mostly because she had years of training to catch up on, and camp was just fun. Today was the day a lot of campers would start coming for the had a lot of siblings she had yet to meet, and that worried her. What would they think of her? She knew she shouldn't care, but how could she not?

"Wanna go and train?" Nico asked that day after they finished their lunch.

"I suppose," Melanie said as she followed him to the arena. A lot of people were unpacking or saying hello to their friends, so Nico and Melanie was the first two in the had been working on her skills in a lot of their free time. Between Dylan and Nico, she would be a pro in no time. Nico and Melanie were in the middle of an intense match when the arena doors opened and a lot o chattering kids came in. Melanie, not used to the chatter, lost focus to see what was happening. Nico, however, didn't miss a step, and disarmed her in seconds.

"Sorry, Sugar," Melanie said.

"No problem, Princess," Nico said. He had decided that he found the nickname "Princess," funnier.

"I just wasn't expecting people," Melanie said as she turned to the small group getting their equipment ready.

"I suppose that's one thing you have to yet experience. Distractions. Just block them out."

"I'll try, but no promises,"Melanie said as she raised her sword again.

"Ready,,, GO!" Nico said and they were going of. Melanie blocked most of Nico's attempts to hit her. She made a few of her own, and she got tired. Melanie heard a dull roar of chatter in the back of her mind, but she blocked it out. She gave this match her all. She finally put all her weight into a disarming move Dylan had taught her a while back that she had been practising, and disarmed Nico. She held her sword an inch from his throat.

"Not bad, Princess," Nico said as he leaned down to give her a kiss.

"Why thanks, Sugar."

"Where did you learn that?" he asked as they headed off towards the water station.

Melanie took a seat on the bench, and began, "Well-"

"From me, of course," Dylan said as he approached the two on the bench.

"Hey, Dyl," Melanie said with a smile, "I would give you a hug, but I am a bit sweaty.."

"Who cares, I am about to join you guys."

Melanie was soon enveloped in a large hug. Dylan had spent the last two weeks in Chicago with his mom.

"How's everyone?" Melanie asked.

"Okay, your parents are ready to see you."

"They can wait until next week."

"I still don't see why you couldn't come with me this time."

"I told you, I didn't want to stay there forever, and-"

"Yeah, I know 'still wanted to see them for their birthday/anniversary,' We all know you just want to stay here and sleep with your boyfriend" Dylan said in his best Melanie impersonation.

"Whatever. Me and Nico are headed out," Melanie said as she got up and began to haul Nico out. Nico didn't even hesitate. She had already discussed this with Nico. She just told him she was not going to do anything like that until she was married. Nico hadn't even brought it up. She just figured she should let him know before he asked. Nico just kinda laughed and said he was glad. He gave her a hug and had quickly changed conversation.

Now, Melanie was pulling Nico to the are near the strawberry fields she sat down, and Nico didn't even have to be tugged on to sit next to her.

Melanie just began to rant, "I mean why does he, and the rest of the world just assume that because I am the daughter to the daughter of the goddess of love that I am a slut? I am still the same person I was before. Awkward, antisocial, Melanie. Why is that if I want to wait a week to see my parents, and stay here with the guy I love, I am a slut?"

"Wait, did you just say 'the guy you love'?" Nico asked slightly shocked.

Melanie's cheeks reddened, "That's all you got out of that?"

"No, but... You love me?" Nico asked dumbfounded.

"Of course I love you," Melanie said a little nervously. She didn't mean to blurt that out a minute before. She had meant it 110%, but she didn't think he had returned the feeling.

"I'm glad," Nico said as he reached down and cupped her face in his hands. He looked into her eyes and said, "I love you too Melanie." Then he kissed her. it was probably the best kiss ever if you asked Melanie, even if that wasn't saying much.

They finally parted, and Melanie just said, "Gods, I really do love you." This time, instead of kissing him again, she just leaned back to stare at the clouds, well, and Nico's sighed and leaned back next to Melanie. He turned to catch her profile, but instead caught Melanie peeking at him. He slowly leaned over and kissed her softly on the lips, then he laid back at her side as they watched the clouds.

"Gods," Nico said as he watched the clouds pass by, "I always thought couples like this were ridiculous, but now I understand it all."

"Same here. I always thought it was just to gushy,"Melanie smiled, then she leaned her head on Nico's shoulder, and slowly fell asleep.

Melanie woke to the sounds of the dinner bells. She immediately sat up, and shook Nico awake.

"Shoot!" Nico said as he jerked up, "Seven thirty already?"

"Yeah," Melanie said as she got up and ran to her cabin, Nico close behind.

"Melanie!" he said right before she went into her cabin. She stopped and he said, "See you at campfire," as he gave her a quick kiss and ran to his cabin.

Melanie entered her cabin with a smile on her face. "Well someone seems rather happy tonight," Piper noted as Melanie came into the cabin just as the people were all leaving. Melanie joined into the line. "Well... don't keep me guessing," Piper said.

"Later, when there are a few less people," Melanie replied.

"Deal," Piper said. Over the past months Piper and Melanie had become even closer, along with Clark. Although he generally went to visit his dad upstate every once in awhile like today. Melanie just followed her cabin to the pavilion tonight. After dinner Melanie was hoping for a fun camp fire with s'mores, but was told she would have to wait. Tonight was a game night.

Yay! Hoped you guys liked the Meco! Sorry if it was a little (or a lot) cheesy. But please review! I love it when you guys review, and I haven't had any in like forever, so because of that I have a contest. The next people to review will get to name a character. I need a few summer camp people names, but I don't know how many. So basically leave a review telling me what you thought of the story/chapter/me, and at the end of the review post the name.

Thanks for your support!
