Chapter Twenty-Six:
"Angel, this is the woman that back-stab you. This is the woman that told Paul where you live." Roman angry that Dean brought her here for all times.
"Roman, honey calm down. Let us listen to what Dean has to say." She rubs his chest even though she is just as mad as him. She wants to hear Dean on why he brought her.
"Okay just for you I will. They better have a good excuse for ruining our moment." He kisses her once again.
Lily turns to Dean, who is still at the door with Renee and Angel. "You better have a good explanation. If you don't Roman will get the baseball bat." She gives him a look.
"Sorry to intrude, but you need to hear what Angel has to say. Go on Angel, tell them what Paul told you."
"I don't want to listen to her. I want you to explain it to us." Lily losing patience.
"But..." Angels starts, but gets interrupted.
"Nope. I will tell them. First, can Renee sit down?" Lily nods at Dean.
"Angel you need to stand. I don't want you to touch or say anything. You're lucky that we allow you in our house." Lily clarifies her disdain for her
"Emma, do you want to go to your room? We need to talk to them alone; grown up talk." Roman smiles at his daughter
"I don't want to." She says quietly. "She is the one that almost hurt both you and mommy. What if something-"
"I won't let that happen. Uncle Dean won't let that happen either, right?" Dean nods as he sees the familiar fear in her eyes. "We will continue to celebrate after they are gone."
Emma nods, but still has fear in her eyes. He kisses her head with Lily who gives her a hug.
"Wait." Renee calls out. She turns to Dean with a smile to signal him that she has a plan to keep Emma happy. "Honey, you don't need me for this. I will be with Emma to suggest some baby names, how about it sweetie?" She now smiles at Emma to see her fear fading. She knows that she will be bored, plus worry the whole time.
Emma perks up. "Absolutely Auntie Renee. I can get to know you better also."
"Okay, sounds like fun. Emma, you be on your best behaviour and don't tell her without us." Lily acts like her mom already
"Fine, I won't. Can I say something to her first?" She points to Angel
"Sure sweetie." Lily takes her hand to guide her to Angel. She along with Roman are behind her as she talks to her.
"Hello Angel." She acts so innocent, but that ends quickly. "You are just as bad as Paul, maybe even worst. You don't know me, but just know that you gave me nightmares, but not anymore. You hurt an innocent child because you were jealous. I hope no other child feels that way, but I want to thank you; you made me stronger. This situation made me understand, even more, who I am and who I can trust. Before this, I thought everyone was like the ones around me, but you two prove they are not. Thank you for that. So-" She now turns to Renee, who is still on the couch. "Let us go to my bedroom." She is proud of what she said.
"Absolutely." She copies the same enthusiasm as Emma did before. She is also proud and a bit surprise at her confidence with the situation with Paul. Renee hopes that their child turns out to be like her.
"I'm proud of you baby girl; my strong, confident baby girl." He pecks her head.
"Thanks daddy."
"I am proud of you too sweetie." Lily hugs her.
"Thank you mo- Lily." She almost spilled their secret.
When Roman and Lily see Emma and Renee enter the bedroom, they turn back their attentions to Dean and Angel.
"Okay, no more interruptions. What is it?" Lily now crosses her arms along with Roman beside her.
"Well... Paul called Angel as his phone call from prison. He said to her to give a message to you, Lily."
"Can you speed up the pace a little?" His already thin patience grows thinner
"He said that if you three didn't visit him soon that he would commit suicide. He gave Angel three days to convince you three." Dean concluded what the message was.
"What? He is trying to put the guilt of us if he does." Roman gets angrier that he would do that.
"This is a new low for him." Lily whispers "Maybe we should go visit him. Maybe he just wants an explanation on how he got into prison."
"No. No you are not going near him. This is another way to keep you around in his life. He is just said that so you have to promise him something; he won't do it." Roman tries to reason while ease the fear for his fiancee.
"But what if he actually does it. I can't have that on myself. I can't have that memory with me. Roman we have to go, I won't live with the guilt if he does." Lily says with fear in her eyes.
He sees the fear as it grows in her eyes, so he caves. He doesn't want her to ever feel that way. "Okay, what if I just go? I will tell him the story and leave. I will tell him that you two couldn't make it." Roman comfort his fiancee.
"That..." Angel starts but gets a glare from Roman.
Angel just whispers in Dean's ear what she was about to say.
"He told Angel that all three of you must be present. I'm sorry Lily." Dean feels the guilt that he knew it was too easy. He should have warn them.
"Thanks Dean. Can you give us privacy for a few minutes?" Lily asks to work out this situation with Roman alone.
"Sure, we can go into the hallway." Dean says. He lets Angel go first as he follows.
"Roman, I think..." Lily starts when they see they are out of ear-shot.
"No, you two are not going to prison to visit him. We will think of something. I will not putt you two in harms way." He holds on to her cheeks gently
"Maybe we can ask for a glass in front of us. We will only talk to him by the telephone on the wall." She suggest as she sees some prison like that in movies.
"What if they don't have one?"
"We request one. If he want sot see us, he has to abide by our rules, not his." She is all confident as she stays her ground to convince Roman that they all should go; it is the right thing.
"That's hot." He is turned out by his fiancee's confidence..
"What is?" She questions as she doesn't expect the answer she got.
"Your confidence, your strength and your determination. You're so fired up that it is turning me on. I want to celebrate with you right now." He kisses her neck
"I would love to blow your Reigns' brains, but we have company. I get to only see certain parts of your body; this isn't for show." She runs her finger down his chest.
"Fine, but you have to stand in front on me." She puts an eyebrow up signal to him why." My little friend wants to say hi, but doesn't want an audience."
She giggles with Roman's play on words. "Sure baby. I will keep it hidden, but not like I want to." She smirks
"Don't push it." He whispers in her ear.
"Okay, let's go tell them." Roman nods "Dean, Angel you can come back now."
They walk back in a little surprise that it only took that long.
"So, what did you two decide?" Dean ask curious
"Tell Paul that we would like a glass to separate us. We will only talk to him through the phone. If he doesn't like it we don't see him. We will only visit if he abides by our rules, not his." She repeats what they both discuss in private.
"Okay, I will call him and let you know. I will be in touch tomorrow to see what he says. Thank you for your time. I will see myself out." She walks to the door to leave.
"You didn't pick her up." Liy confuse as she thought they all came in one car.
"Of course not." He a bit offended. "She just doorbell your house and told me everything. I'm sorry again for the intrusion; Renee and I will be leaving." Dean starts to go to Emma's bedroom
"Wait..." Lily looks at Roman as he nods with a smile. "We three want to tell you two something, if Emma didn't tell her already."
"What is it?" Dean excited and scared about the announcement
"We will wait for them first. Emma, Renee please come back to the living room. " She calls out to them.
Emma comes out first with Renee as she keeps on quickly to tell her the big secret.
"Oh come on Emma, please tell me the big, exciting secret."
"Sorry Auntie Renee, but you have to wait until they are done." She smiles with a bit of a smirk with it.
"Emma, what did you do?" Roman and Lily as they both chuckle
"Nothing, you told me not to tell her. Of course, as I good girl I am, I follow what you say. I did just tease her a bit."
"Okay, sit down you two so we can tell the both of you."
Dean helps his pregnant wife to the couch as they wait for big announcement.
"Okay, we just say it without any other distractions."
"Lily is going to be my mommy." Emma blurts out.
"What?" Renee and Dean both say confuse. They don't think they heard Emma right.
"Oh Emma." Her parents both shake their heads.
"Sorry, I'm so excited.
"What is she talking about?"
"Well... Roman propose to me before you three arrived." She shows them the ring.
"OMG! Lily that is amazing; my best friend is getting married. Congratulations." Dean gets up to hug her.
"Congratulations man. You finally have her to be the family that everyone sees." He bro-hugs Roman
"Yup, I'm a lucky man."
Lily goes up to Renee, so she doesn't have to get up."
"Congrats Lily, you to Roman."
"Thanks Renee."
"Okay group hug." Emma says as they all go to Renee and Lily who are on the couch.
