Jesse could only really promise me three hours to be able to keep Kellin away. Any longer and he was afraid that the jig would be up. This thought made me both excited and terrified all at the same time.
Somehow, I convinced Mike and Tony to wash down the table and move it outside to the patio. Justin went and bought three dozen roses and a bucket of petals because I'm cliché as hell and don't care who knows it. And Jaime made sure that everything was running smoothly as I went upstairs to get ready.
While in the shower, my mind raced with scenario after scenario. I went over what I thought I should say, got frustrated, and then went over lines again. What the hell was I supposed to do? I'm only twenty for God's sake. Getting married wasn't exactly in my repertoire.
Someone I was able to make it through my shower without killing myself accidentally. I quickly got dressed and made my way downstairs to see how things were going. I was truly surprised by the sight that I was met with.
Justin had laid out the petals along the hallway from the front door all the way to the patio and around the table. Mike and Tony had set up two settings, decked out with matching set ware and everything. I wasn't even sure where we had gotten then from now that I thought about it.
"Wow, you guys have outdone yourselves." I walked up and slapped my brother on the back.
"Well, we don't fuck around." He laughed. "Now, if you'll excuse us, Tony and I have a dinner reservation to get to." He turned, took Tony by the hand, and promptly walked out the front door.
"I think that's also our cue to go." Jaime chuckled and grabbed his keys and he and Justin took their leave.
Now I was alone. I pulled out my phone and sent Jesse the text that was going to change my life forever. A moment later he replied saying that they were on their way. The second I read that message, my heart began to beat like a war drum. My anxiety was through the roof, but I knew that I had to just breathe and that everything would be alright.
Before I knew it, I heard Kellin yelling a goodbye to Jesse and I stood over by the back door, waiting. The lock clicked and the door opened.
"Vic! I'm ho-" He stopped short when he noticed the petals. I watched the confusion cross his face as his line of vision found me and then the smile break out across his lips. "What's this?"
"Long overdue." I replied, motioning for him to join me. I had set out the food for our dinner and pulled out his chair for him. He blushed a little before taking a seat and watching as I sat across from him.
"This is very unexpected." He placed his napkin on his lap and picked up his fork, taking his first bite. "And delicious."
"Thank you." We continued this way for a while, just having a casual conversation about life. As we were drawing closer to the end, my nerves began to become worked up again.
"Kellin, there's something I want to ask you." I spat out suddenly.
"And what is that?" He asked with an innocent look in his eyes.
"You know that I love you and that I would do anything for you right?" He nodded.
"Of course."
"And that you have always meant the world to me." He again nodded. "I was wondering…" I reached into my pocket and placed the box in front of him. He looked from me to the box and then back up again before picking it up and opening it. His mouth fell open and he quickly covered it with his hand. "If you would do me the honor of marrying me?"
I got down on my knee beside him and took his shaking hand in mine. He had tears welling in his sparkling blue eyes as he looked down to me and simply nodded. A smile crossed my face as he lunged into my arms, knocking me to the ground, and kissed me pationately.
"I will. Of course I'll marry you, Vic." He finally let out in a shaking voice. I cupped his face, staring intently into his eyes and kissed him again. This was going to be the beginning of something amazing.
A few months later…
What's worse than running around like a madman trying to make sure a wedding is going smoothly? Trying to make sure the wedding is running smoothly while trying to get married to the love over your life at the same time. Everyone kept telling me that they had everything under control, but can you blame me for being a bit worried. I mean, this had to be perfect right?
"Vic!" Mike yelled from the door of the kitchen. "It's time, let's go." I reluctantly put down the wisk and walked into the hallway. Mike was standing there, holding my jacket coat, and giving me the same look he always did when he was annoyed.
"Seriously dude, you're getting married in like ten minutes." He smacked the back of my head as we walked to the back entrance of the chapel. I took my spot at the altar where Mike joined me alongside Jaime and Tony. Jesse, Justin, Jack, and Gabe were all waiting on Kellin's side since he decided he wanted to walk down the aisle. I thought it was cute actually.
The beginning of the chosen song started, and the gathering of people stood as Kellin made his entrance. He chose to wear a white tux with accented colors of blues we chose whereas I wore black with a blue vest and black skinny tie. He, by far, was more stunning than I was though.
He joined me at the altar and James began the ceremony. I could feel his hands shaking slightly in mine, but he had the largest smile on his beautiful face. I couldn't even tell you everything that happened. The next thing I knew, we were saying our "I dos" and then turning to the crowd.
"Ladies and gentleman, for the first time, Mr. and Mr. Fuentes."
A/N: Ok, so I royally suck for making you guys wait for two months for this. My bad...between work and personal stuff, I haven't been able to write lately. But here it is! I love you all for sticking through this with me.
