Much later that night, Jacob and I managed to get a moment to ourselves out on the balcony.
"So, it looks like we're finally getting our happily ever after." Jacob said.
"Don't say that. You'll jinx it."
"Well, I had to say it."
"Hmm…" I stood on my tiptoes and kissed him. He kissed me back, leaning down to make it easier. We pulled away and rested our foreheads on each others.
"Promise me something?" I asked.
"Anything."
"That we'll be together. Forever and always?"
"Forever and always."
