Transformation- Henry, growing old

Something has changed in the king. He no longer has the same ambitions he once did; his dreams aged with him. When he had youth, he wanted immortality. He was going to be remembered forever, and now he surely will be. With youth comes recklessness and his Majesty is no exception. When his mortality was proven to him, is obsession moved to having a son. He became zealous in his quest, allowing no obstacle to stand in his way. The king burned many bridges for his son. What seemed to be impossible was made possible. Henry changed England forever all for a male heir. When he gained his son, he lost his queen and again his ambitions changed. He mourned his youth like many aged men before him. Now, his actions are always trying to prove that he is as capable as he was in his youth, sometimes desperately so. We can only hope that the king learns to accept his age. If not, this ambition for youth will surly kill him.
