The idea of this chapter said hello to me when I was taking a nap.

Lyon's hug is incredibly comforting. His warmth is also nice and Lucy settles her head on his chest. She listens to Lyon's breathing rhythm and it calms her down.
When Lyon bid her farewell and went home, Lucy knew she would be having a very pleasant dream that night.
And she does.
Lucy stares into her surroundings, and guessing where the heck she is. She's standing on a vast green field. Flowers are everywhere because it's spring and gentle breeze says hello to her.
The blonde girl turns her head to left and right, and finding that she's alone. She looks down, and realizing that her legs are so short.
She blinks twice and crouches down. Her shadow appears and she blinks again. She stretches her hand and sees that her fingers are so tiny.
Then it clicks to her. She's a little girl right now.
"Okay, where am I and why I'm a little girl?" she says to herself. It feels weird. She knows it is her, but it seems like she is seeing her past self in her dream.
It's her down there, but it seems like she is watching it.
Then she sees it. A little boy is approaching her. She can't see his face clearly, but she can see his goofy smile.
"Now that smile seems familiar.." Lucy thinks to herself. "Where have I seen it..?"
Her past self stands up suddenly, turns her body around and gives the brightest smile ever to the boy.
The boy's goofy smile widens and he ruffles her head softly. He takes her hand in his and then they happily play together.
"Is this a dream..?" Lucy wonders. Deep down, something is bothering her. She seems so familiar with the scene, almost as if she is having a deja vu.
Then it clicks to her. This is not a dream. This is a memory. Her memory.
Judging from how small she is, she guesses she's about two years old. And it seems that the boy is the same age as her.
She wonders why can't she remember the boy's face, nor his hair color. All she can remember is his goofy smile.
The boy is standing awfully close to her past self right now, and he puts his forehead on her own. She blushes upon seeing that. She's just a little girl but she gets that kind of sweet gesture! Who is the boy anyway?
Then her dream changes.
This time, she sees herself standing in front of Gray. She remembers it clearly. This is one of her memories too. It's actually a very recent one, too. This is her memory of the day when Gray kissed her.
She can still feel it. Gray's soft and warm lips, despite his abnormal cold body temperature. She raises her hand to softly grazes her lips, and she can still feel the kiss lingering there.
Their faces are incredibly red, and Gray puts his hands on her shoulders. He stares at her lovingly, before he leans in and kisses her again.
Wait, hold on. This means she and Gray kisses twice!
She doesn't remember that! But then again, her memory has turned into a blob of jelly after Gray kisses her for the first time. She doesn't remember anything else apart from the first kiss.
Now she blushes badly. Out of all times, why does she has to see the real memory now? Not when she still doesn't know how to react in front of Gray!
Gray pulls her closer and holds her tighter as he keeps kissing her. Lucy runs her fingers on Gray's soft hair while her other hand circling Gray's neck.
Gray tilts his head, deepening the kiss. One of his hand is on her waist while the other is on the back of her head. Lucy closes her eyes and clearly enjoying the kiss. She presses her body closer to Gray's, closing any gap that still exists.
Lucy blushes madly. She can't believe that sight! Now that she remembers everything, she wonders loudly how on earth she can still see Gray normally without remembering this!
But, there it is. The same guilt in her heart when she's kissing Gray. She doesn't know why, though. Why is she feeling guilty by kissing Gray?
Gray has implicitly said that he loves her, and she loves him too, right?
...
Why is it so wrong to admit she likes it when Gray kissed her?
Because Juvia loves him too and Juvia is one of her best friends? That maybe it, but Lucy knows that's not it. There's something else that makes her feel so damn guilty.
Is it because she's kissing Gray while she doesn't even know she loves him?
No, that's not it either. She loves him, she knows it.
So why is she feeling guilty?
She looks down again on herself that is blushing madly after the second kiss with Gray. Both of them are panting, definitely because lacked of oxygen. Gray then takes her hand and takes her home.
He says goodbye and walks away while blushing.
That doesn't change her feeling of guilt, let alone reducing it. She's still feeling guilty, and she doesn't even know why.
It's almost as if she made a promise with someone to stay with them together, and now she breaks the promise. It's that kind of guilt.
She knits her eyebrows. How come that kind of guilt appears? Does she really make a promise to stay with someone forever? With whom? Why can't she remember?
A face flashes through her mind.
Lucy snaps her eyes open. The morning sunlight is so warm, lighting her face gently. Lucy sits up and lowers her head in concentration.
A face flashed through her mind. But she doesn't know who was it. She can't remember anything about the face, only the goofy smile.
The same goofy smile as the boy she has met when she was two years old.
Lucy knits her eyebrows in confusion. Why can't she remember anything when she was two years old? Heck, she doesn't even recall having any memories of it.
But seeing her memory when she was two years old, she can safely assume that she has met someone back then. Someone who is so important to her, that makes her feel guilty when she kissed Gray.
Now the question is, who the heck is this someone?
That night when Lucy is having her memories displayed, a certain someone is on the phone. It is Sting Eucliffe.
He lowers his hand and brings the phone to his side. He has just talked with his twin brother, Rogue, and now he has a new determination.
He can't wait until Lucy comes again to school.
Done !
