Hello everyone!

Here's the next chapter like I promised.

I hope you like it!

Coral finished up washing the dishes and tossed the empty washing up liquid in the bin, when she felt like someone was watching her.

She slowly turned around and saw the back door creaking open.

Coral approached the door carefully and discovered that a petite girl with red puffy eyes and jet black hair was stood on the doorstep.

"Lela what are you doing here? You want me to go get Tanner?" Coral asked, concerned at how upset Lela looked.

"No!" Lela said, grabbing Coral's arm and looking even more nervous.

"Why?" Coral asked, getting seriously worried for this poor girl.

"I don't want him worrying," Lela explained.

There was a pause and Lela took a deep breath.

"Can I talk to you?" Lela quietly requested.

Coral looked down at her rather oddly.

"Me? Why?" Coral asked, she had barely even met Lela properly.

Lela nervously fiddled with her fingers, "Tanner said you were good to talk to."

Coral smirked and glanced in the direction of Tanner, "He did, did he?"

"Please?" Lela whispered, rather desperate by now.

"Fine, just a moment." Coral said.

Coral turned her head, "Tanner?"

"Yeah?" Tanner called from the main part of Big Momma's.

"I'm just heading out, I'll be back later," Coral hollered.

"Where are you going?" Tanner asked, slightly confused as he shouted to his sister.

"Someone needs to talk to me," Coral explained.

Tanner didn't reply but Coral left anyway.

"Where are we going?" Lela sniffed, timidly.

"Um…I don't know? Your house?" Coral asked, not really knowing how to talk to this snivelling wreck of a biker.

"No, definitely not there," Lela demanded and Coral nodded.

"Oh…er…the beach?" Coral tried for the second time.

"No. What if we see one of the…" Lela began but stopped as her voice cracked, about to burst into tears again.

"Oh…er…no! Don't start crying…erm…uh…" Coral babbled, panicking as she tried to calm Lela down.

Lela actually found it funny how awkward Coral was around her and let out a feeble laugh.

Coral stopped dead in her tracks and stared at the biker as if she had three heads.

"Huh?" Coral mimicked Tanner, just making Lela laugh even more. "I don't understand bikers," Coral mumbled as they continued walking.

"Can we go to your house?" Lela murmured.

"…sure," Coral replied, a little glumly.

About 10 minutes later Lela was perched on Coral's bed as Coral re-entered the room.

Coral smiled at the sniffing biker as she strolled over to her.

"Right," Coral said as she knelt behind Lela and picked up her hairbrush that she had used on CheeChee just an hour ago. "Pour your heart out," she continued as she began to brush Lela's hair.

"It was all fine until…" Lela began before Coral interrupted.

"I came. Yeah, yeah I know," Coral groaned.

"That's not what I meant," Lela panicked.

"Carry on," Coral replied, ignoring Lela's attempt at an apology.

"It was after you left the party the other night. A few of the bikers start messing around and the next thing I knew the curtain of streamers was off the wall. And more of them started acting stupidly and flipped a table and then they started throwing cups at each other and I decided to leave."

Lela's explanation of what happened that night made Coral stop.

"So they did do it on purpose?" Coral murmured.

"What?" Lela replied, turning around.

"I can't believe them, after we specifically," But Lela cut Coral off.

"What do you mean by 'they did it on purpose'?" Lela asked, slowly.

"Before we left Big Momma's that night we told the bikers they had to keep the place clean. Because we knew if we didn't keep it clean, then we were in big trouble. We came back the next day and found Big Momma's in that state and Big Momma blew a fuse and dumped us with jobs for the rest of the week."

Lela's mouth dropped open slightly at Coral's explanation, "so the bikers were the cause of you having to run Big Momma's?"

"Yeah," Coral answered, "carry on."

Lela was shocked, no wonder they had developed such a hatred for the bikers so suddenly.

"The bikers, have no reason to insult you like they do but at least you have an excuse," Lela continued. "I can't stand them sometimes!" Lela shouted.

Coral jumped before speaking up, "you don't mean that."

"Yes I do! All they think about is themselves, they don't care what happens to anyone else," Lela argued.

"Lela, you just think that because you're mad at them," Coral answered.

"Butchy was so mad though, he's never been like that, ever." Lela said.

"Look I'm sure he'll calm down, then you can go back to being a biker and everything will be just like it was this morning," Coral reassured.

"No. I meant what I said. I want to be a surfer now," Lela confessed.

"Ok," Coral replied, as she set to work on unpicking Lela's beehive.

"Struts and CheeChee are fine, they weren't really doing anything. It was just the boys," Lela continued, "All they ever do is insult you guys and you don't even deserve it."

"Lela," Coral started, "I have come to the realisation that the bikers and surfers never stopped rivalling each other and that they will never truly get along. Sure, they're civil with each other but there's always going to be that little spot of rivalry between them. This situation has just proved it."

"Wow, that's really smart!" Lela commented.

"Really?" Coral doubted.

"You are just like Tanner," Lela said.

"I get that a lot," Coral replied.

Lela laughed softly.

"So am I aiming to make you impress Tanner?" Coral asked, finishing running her hairbrush through Lela's silky black locks.

"I guess…" Lela trailed off.

"What about impress everyone?" Coral tried again.

"Yeah!" Lela exclaimed, her bright blue eyes lighting up.

"Well then," Coral started, "let's go with that then."

Lela carried on talking about the bikers to Coral until the conversation stopped.

"…So…how are things with you and Tanner?" Coral asked, trying to start a new conversation.

"Good…I guess…" Lela answered.

"Is there anyone you like?" Lela asked, completely forgetting about Butchy.

Coral paused. How could she possibly confess to Lela that she was crushing on Butchy after everything that had gone on these past few days.

Lela gasped, "I totally forgot!"

"Forgot what?" Coral asked, worried yet suspicious.

"Sometimes I can be so stupid…" Lela mumbled to herself.

"What are you talking about? And what did you forget?" Coral asked, getting a little frustrated now.

"I'm talking about you and Butchy," Lela answered in a hushed voice.
