Unknownymous: I can't wait for that either but don't expect it to be right away ;) Dante can be a stubborn bastard when he wants to be. :p But yes, things will probably be better once everything is out in the open. I know! Credo's coming back! Thanks for the review!

Tension

"He did what?!" Mrs. Galvan asked, shocked while Dante merely raised a brow at Lady who just shrugged.

"I took them to the park, Nero wanted to show off that new trick he learned, there was no one else around." She shrugged again "I saw no problem with letting them play around, they're boys, they need a bit of rough housing now and again."

"Okay." The slayer in red said, having no problem with the situation while Mitch's mother just sat there her mouth flapping open and closed as she tried to think of something to say, finally she just turned to Dante and said

"A tree?"

"Yeah!" Mitch piped up, jumping up a little bit in his excitement "It was so awesome! His arm did that VWOOSH thingy and it was so strong that the tree just fell over!" Nero was about as red as his father's coat as his friend described what had just transpired.

"It wasn't that cool…" he mumbled, still blushing strongly but there was a small proud smirk on his face, Lady ruffled his hair.

"You better watch out Dante," she said "the kid's gonna over take you in the power house department."

"Pffft! As if!" the elder snorted as Mrs. Galvan watched on, still stunned at what was taking place around her. That boy had enough strength to punch over a tree and he was only eleven… It made her worry, was his father teaching him how to control that strength? Nero seemed like a nice enough boy but he could easily hurt someone without even meaning to. She watched as the smaller white haired boy winced and out of the corner of her eye she noticed the sword on the floor flash. She looked over to it and was shocked to see blood coating the blade and it pulsed again, drawing the other woman's… Lady's? attention to it.

"Dante…" she said in a warning tone, the half devil looked over and saw the sword give off a pulse of light and heard a small keen come from his son.

"Dammit," he growled, stepping forward and grabbing the blade from the floor. Jackie watched, shocked as her own son took a fearful step back and Nero winced again, eyes tightly pressed closed, the young partial devil was shaking, every muscle in his body tense. This must be the sword that had to do with what happened earlier. Dante wiped the blood from the blade with a rag from his desk and then startled Mitch's mother again by materializing a sheath out of now where and sliding the blade safely into it.

"Stay in there." His voice was low and echoed slightly "You belong to no one he is not your master and won't be for a long time." With that the half devil marched into the weapons closet and came out a moment later, closing the door and muttering a few words in front of it.

"Can I still get in there?" Lady asked and Jackie raised a brow.

"Yeah," Dante said then turned to the boys in front of her. "Nero you okay?" he asked, kneeling before his son.

""m fine." The boy mumbled, refusing to face his father.

"Nero, it's okay, it's not your fault, I should've done a better job keeping the more dangerous devil arms out of reach." He paused and addressed both of them. "Alright, so that door is warded now, if either of you try to open it you're going to get a nice shock to the fingers okay? So I better not see you trying." Both preteens nodded and then Jackie spoke up from the couch.

"What exactly happened earlier?" Dante sighed and both boys looked a little tense.

-Family of Happenstance-

"How long are you just gonna sit there? C'mon freak, show me what you're made of." Credo felt his brow twitch at the words of the man before his cell. Apparently since his refusal to comply, he was no longer worth Agnus' time. At this point he almost would've preferred the scientist to the rude soldier standing outside the bars who was about to slide the tray of food in the slot made for just that.

Every day the former captain of the guard would sit and meditate, trying to calm the snarling and feral instincts raging in the back of his mind. It wasn't that far from times he'd been sent on dangerous mission and only managed to come back by the skin of his teeth; days following such had usually consisted of the same thing, trying to get his mind back to a civil way of thinking, not constant survival and fighting for his life. This was a bit more of an uphill battle though, because as his body gained back strength, so did the feral demonic instincts that had been forced into his mind.

Each night though… when no one was watching the brunette would practice, pulling on that well of power that pulsed in his core, feeling his body transform into something else, something inhuman, something demonic. The power was incredible, each time he practiced, the change got easier, quicker, he gained more control over his own mind, his body felt less clumsy. He was almost ready to just bust out of here, to get away, to find that child and protect him of the fate that the Order had planned for him.

"Demon, I'm talking to you." Credo felt the food hit the back of his head in great detail and suddenly, that was enough, almost ready? Screw that, he was ready now. A low growl slipped from his throat and wisps of golden energy floated off his body. He could smell the guard's fear his the air as he let the demon have control.

A/N: Oh man… that was so awesome! I know Credo was a little bit OOC there at the end but! I feel like anyone would hit their limit in his situation, don't worry, he'll slide back into character once he calms down but the poor guy's through a lot ;p Thanks so much for reading and as always

Till next time,
