Doctor Who?

One week later...

Tony chuckled as he took a seat next to Gibbs at the bar.

"One more?" The bartender asked the gunny.

Nodding he turned his attention to Tony who was smiling looking at the pool table behind them.

"Poor McGee, Abby is taking all his money." Tony laughed.

Looking over his shoulder he saw McGee shaking his head as he handed over a twenty dollar bill to Abby.

"How much did he lose?" Gibbs asked turning back around while the bartender set another bottle of beer down.

Tony shook his head. "That makes it eighty bucks." He smiled.

"Well, I guess we know who's paying for our cabs tonight." Gibbs replied taking a drink of his beer.

"Yeah, no kidding… so who's that hot blonde Carol and Stacy showed up with?" Tony asked as he waved over the bartender.

"Dunno… didn't ask." The gunny replied setting his beer down.

Abby walked over to the table where her girlfriends were seated along with a woman she hadn't met before.

Carol looked like she wasn't enjoying the woman that joined their friend Stacy tonight.

"You okay, Carol?" Abby asked approaching her.

"Eh" was all Carol said before taking a huge gulp of her drink.

"Hey, Abby I don't believe I introduced you to my friend." Stacy said pointing to the woman who sat next to her. "Nikki this is Abby. Abby Nikki."

Abby smiled at her. "Hi, nice to meet you."

"Hi… love your shoes." She replied looking at Abby's black chucks with hot pink laces.

"Thanks." Abby said happily.

"Hey, Nikki… you should go get us another round of beers." Carol said as she tossed a crumpled bill in the middle of the table.

"Do I look like fucking waitress?" Nikki spat taking a drink of her beer.

Abby's eyes widen at her brutal reply while Carol glared at the woman that she disliked more with each passing moment.

"Um… I'll go." Abby said taking the bill that lay in the middle of the table.

Gibbs, Tony and Tim headed for the table while Abby left to get their drinks

Stacy began to introduce the men that were taking their seats near them. "Nikki this is Timothy, Tony and G-"

"Who are you?" Nikki ask Gibbs who sat down across her.

"Who are you?" He tossed her own question back at her.

Licking her lips she leaned in not noticing Tony and Carols' shocked looks. "I'm the girl your taking home tonight." She purred.

"Ha! Like hell he is." Carol said as she downed the remainder of her drink.

Gibbs smiled politely back at her. "There's only one girl I'm taking home tonight as she's right over there." He said pointing at Abby.

"Burn!" Carol laughed.

Tony and McGee smiled at each other.

Nikki looked at the woman she just met earlier then back to the man seated across her. "No way you're with her."

"Oh, yes he is girl… now back off." Carol said ignoring the nudge from Stacy.

Gibbs only smiled at the woman looking at him.

"Okay… here you go." Abby said returning with their drinks.

Drinking her beer Nikki looked at Abby while she rounded the table and took a seat next to the man she was just flirting at.

"So, Nikki how do you know Stacy?" Abby asked.

"We go to the same gym. We've been hanging out more lately." She replied.

"Abby you have got to join us some time it's amazing how refreshed you feel after a workout." Stacy told her friend.

"I mainly focus on cardio…" Nikki trailed off as she looked at Gibbs. "You know… get the heart racing so you have enough stamina to keep going… and going… and going." She said seductively at the man sitting across her.

Abby couldn't believe that the woman she just met moments ago was flirting with her Gibbs.

McGee and Tony both watched Gibbs curious about his reaction to this.

He was uncomfortable but years of being able to hide his emotions he looked across at the woman who was watching intently to see if she was getting to him. "DiNozzo" He said calmly.

"Yeah" Tony breathed who was still waiting for some reaction from Abby.

"You wanna play some pool?" Gibbs asked as he turned away from the woman who flirting with him.

"Sure." Tony said getting up.

Abby looked at Carol who was shaking her head in disbelief while McGee got up and joined his friends at the pool table.

"Carol… can you come with me to the restroom?" Abby said getting up.

"Thought you never ask." She said leaving the table.

Stacy watched her friends leave while her new friend sat smiling watching the guys at the pool table.

"What is wrong with you?" Stacy whispered.

"What?" Nikki smiled.

"You were flirting with him when his girl was sitting right there." Stacy said looking around hoping that Abby was gone and to her relief she was.

"He liked it, plus, he can do way better than that Amy." She said looking at Stacy.

"It's Abby and I don't think you have chance getting him. Don't even try he loves her and just leave it at that." Stacy begged her buzzed friend.

"I'm sure I can steal him like that." Nikki said snapping her fingers.

"No, that's the sound your neck's going to make when Carol snaps your neck." Stacy said picking up her beer.

"What does Carol have to do with this?" She asked Stacy.

"You mess with Abby you better be ready for Carol." Stacy replied as she picked up her beer.

"WHAT THE HELL?" Carol shouted as they entered the restroom.

"Wow, did you listen to that?" Abby said shaking her head.

"I was trying so hard not to say something that I was literally biting my tongue." Carol said facing her friend.

"Who is she again?" Abby asked.

"Don't ask me, I don't know who the hell she is but something about her was bothering me the moment she came prancing in with Stacy." Carol explained.

"I'm happy he didn't say much." Abby said walking over to the sink.

"Yeah, but you should have!" Carol replied raising her voice.

"What would have I said… hey that's my gunny your flirting with, back off?"

"That would have been nice. You should have said something to that slutty thing out there." Carol muttered annoyed.

Drying her hands Abby turned around. "Come on lets go before things get really awkward."

"It got awkward once she talked about cardio to hotness." Carol replied.

"Who knew Stacy went to the gym?" Abby thought out loud.

"I know right, plus she had the nerve to ask you to come join them." Carol said opening the door.

"I get enough cardio … and I don't need to go the gym, I have my hotness for that." Abby said as she smiled walking pass her friend.

Carols eyes lit up. "Oorah, Abby!"

Giggling Abby walked down the hall back to the bar.

"So, how can I sign up for this 'hotness' membership because I need to work on my cardio. Any chance I can have a free trial?" Carol asked happily walking after her friend.

"Shut up, Carol." Abby laughed.

Tony looked over at the woman who was hitting on Gibbs earlier.

"Jeez, Tony." Gibbs said as he pocketed another ball.

"What… I'm just wondering how someone smokin' like her would rather hit on you instead of me." He said picking up his drink.

McGee rolled his eyes.

"Did Tobias call any of you?" Gibbs asked picking up the chalk from the table ignoring Tony completely.

"Fornell?" Tony asked.

"Not me." McGee replied.

"Why should he have?" DiNozzo asked taking a drink as he kept looking at Nikki.

Gibbs shook his head. "Just asking... he called me the other night. He was wondering what case I was working on."

McGee nudged Tony who was still staring at the blonde sitting with Stacy.

"Yes, I mean no… what?" Tony said confused as he was snapped out of his thoughts.

Tim shook his head walking pass Tony. "So, did he ever say why he asking about our cases?" He asked before taking a drink of his soda.

"You think you can find out what he's working on that might make him worry if it involved NCIS?" Gibbs asked ignoring Tim's question.

"Sure, would that be officially or un-"He stopped as he recognized that familiar glare from his boss. "… unofficially, got it."

Tony cleared his throat as he finally turned his attention back to the Gibbs. "What cologne do you wear that makes girls like that throw them selves at you?" He asked.

"No cologne… just sawdust." Abby said, walking up to join them.

Gibbs smiled at her. "I think the smell of sawdust only works on you."

"…and the taste of gummy bears, coffee and bourbon on your lips is also hard to resist." She replied wrapping her arms around his neck.

Tony shook his head. "See, this is what I'm talking about. You don't even have to try and you have Abby drooling all over you."

"Get over it, Tony." McGee said annoyed by his friend.

"I'll drool over you Tony… after a bottle of tequila." Carol said walking up to them.

"Yeah girls would have to be wasted to want you." McGee smiled at Tony.

"Well, if I remember things correctly I think Abby was drunk when she ended up with a certain marine." Tony chuckled.

"I wasn't drunk and I didn't end up with him that night." Abby defended herself.

Tony laughed looking at her. "I remember waking up the following morning and you were cuddled up with Gunnery Sgt. Gummy Bear." He pointed out.

Gibbs smiled at Tony. "How do you know about the gummy bears?"

"Everyone knows about you and gummy bears since she posted it on her Facebook page." Tony confessed.

Raising his eyebrow he looked at the girl that was holding him. "Facebook? What are you putting on there about me?" He asked.

Blushing she shook her head. "Not much."

"Some how I doubt that." He said back to her.

"You should hear what she posted before you got here." Tony said smiling pulling out his phone.

"Don't you dare, Tony." Abby begged her friend.

Chuckling Tony visited her page. "This was her update about an hour ago… 'Having a night out with friends and gonna kick back a few drinks to catch a buzz even though I'm always drunk on my gunny.' Not bad Abby 93 likes and counting." Tony smiled.

"Please tell me you're not putting pictures on there." Gibbs said to Abby.

McGee giggled. "Boss, I think you were a few likes away from going viral the other day." He explained.

Confused he looked at Tim. "What?"

"Last week Tuesday she posted this and it had over… 300 likes. With a caption that read 'I love gummy bear mornings with him.'." Tony said turning his phone around.

The marine looked at the picture of him sleeping shirtless in bed with a gummy bear lying next to him.

Facing Abby who was now completely blushing he smiled. "Maybe I should get a Facebook account." He told her.

"Like hell you are." She giggled.

"No, L.J. that's a bad idea." Tony said, approaching them. "She's going to be running that page for you. There won't be updates like 'guess how I got the boat out the basement' instead there will be posts like 'I miss her already and I just left her lab' Trust me you don't want one and every friend request from a woman she will be mad at you and asking how you know her. No, don't get one." Tony said shaking his head.

"I would love to see your profile pic if you had one though." Carol smiled.

Tony chuckled. "Maybe, Abby kissing his cheek while he has a gummy between his teeth."

Abby laughed letting her gunny go. "No more FB talk, please. I'm hungry let's go."

Gibbs smiled at her as he was pulled away from the pool table by the girl who happily shared glimpses into their relationship with the world.

"You're buying right, because you took all my money!" McGee yelled out after her.

"Of course!" She yelled back before dragging her gunny through the doors of the bar.

They all followed them out the door while Stacy and Nikki sat watching them leave.

"Leaving already?" Stacy asked Carol who walked by her.

"Yeah, later Stacy." Carol replied taking her coat and leaving the bar.

The next day…

She entered the front door to their house with another box of her things that she was slowly bringing over to fill this home.

"Are you sure you don't want to bring all your things, all at once?" Carol asked as she walked in behind her.

"Yeah I'm sure." Abby replied.

Carol looked around the house. "He's not here is he?"

"No, he's at work he should be home this evening." She said walking into the living room with her box.

"Aww… could you say that one more time." Carol said happily.

Abby giggled.

"Wow, I still can't believe that you're moving in with hotness and that he comes home to you." Carol smiled.

"I can't believe that I actually took the day off." Abby said turning around.

"Yeah, that too so, why did you?" She asked.

Abby smiled as she looked around the house. "I guess, I just wanted to be home."

Carol smiled. "So, what are you going to make your husband? Oh no wait you're not married are you? I mean your 'hotness' what are you going to make for that smokin' hot boyfriend of yours?"

Abby shook her head. "What are you getting at?" She asked.

"I'm just wondering how long it will be before he pops the question." Carol said walking into the kitchen.

"I don't think that would ever happen." She replied following her friend.

"Why not?" Carol asked pulling a soda from the fridge. "I mean look the fridge is stocked with food and there's a bag of gummy bears on the counter over there plus we had to stop earlier just so you can pick up fish food for his goldfish. I could go on and on, Abby."

"Things are changing but I don't think they would change that drastically." Abby said picking up the gummy bears and putting it away in one of the kitchen drawers.

"What are you doing?" Carol asked seeing her put the gummy bears away.

"He keeps his gummy bears in this drawer." Abby explained.

Carol giggled. "Why wouldn't he marry the girl who knows which drawer he keeps his precious gummy bears in?"

Abby laughed. "Just because I know where he keeps his gummy bears doesn't mean he would marry me, Carol." She replied taking a seat at the table.

Sitting down Carol looked across at her friend. "Why wouldn't he pop the question?" She asked.

Looking around Abby took a deep breath. "Because… he did it before and… I know he wouldn't do that again." She said quietly.

"Is it what you want, though?" Carol asked taking a drink of her soda.

Abby shrugged. "Honestly, I don't know. I mean I love being with him, everyone knows that. I'm still getting use to being here with him even though there's no place I'd rather be." Taking another deep breath she looked at her box of things that sat on the living room floor. "I don't mind spending the rest of my life with him, whether he asks me to marry him or not. I'm not going to go wishing for something that probably would never happen so for now I'm just going to wait for my gunny to come home." She smiled.

Carol smiled at her. "It would be fun to introduce you though. I'd be like 'oh, have you met my friend? Her name is Abby… Abigail Gibbs, she's married to… hotness."

Abby laughed. "Are you always going to call him that?"

"Yes, the name fits him perfectly. So, hotness he shall be and he shall forever be your hotness. Just don't forget who named him." Carol explained.

"Deal, as long as you help me keep that Nikki away from him." Abby replied.

Carol shook her head. "Ugh… she annoys me and I don't like her."

"I just hope she's the last person to tries to get to him or between us." Abby said not even knowing that someone would return that would do more than just flirt to her gunny.

Later that afternoon...

McGee exited the elevator while he read the information that was streaming through his phone about the current cases that the FBI were investigating along with a list of people they were working with when Tony came running over stopping him in his tracks.

"Tony, move." McGee said annoyed.

Looking around Tony whispered. "You didn't see her?"

"See who?" Tim replied still reading the information that he was gathering for his boss.

"Where's Gibbs?" Tony said under his breath pulling McGee away from the elevator to the other side of the wall away from the people who were watching them.

"Outside talking with Fornell, because he was still asking about what we were working on." He told Tony.

"I think I know why he was asking about our current cases." Tony whispered.

"Oh no…" Tim breathed as he read a name associated with the FBI on a current case.

"What?" Tony said still looking around the floor.

"I gotta call Gibbs." Tim said as he began to dial.

"McGee, she's back… this is either bad or very, very, very bad." Tony continued to rant.

"Who's back?" Tim said holding his cell phone up to his ear while Gibbs phone began to ring.

Taking another look around the floor Tony looked back at him. "She's with Vance right now and she had the nerve to ask about… Gibbs." He whispered his friends' name.

"Are you talking about the same person I'm going to tell Gibbs about?" McGee asked.

"By the look on your face, I'd say yes." Tony said looking at the stairs that led to the Directors office.

"Yeah, McGee." Gibbs answered.

"Ugh… hey boss. I um… I – I did some digging and-" Tim was cut off when Tony pushed him back out of sight.

"She's coming down the stairs." Tony whispered as he went out of sight from the person descending the stairs.

Gibbs narrowed his eyes while Tobias drank his coffee. "McGee, what is it?"

Fornell looked at Gibbs. "Everything okay?"

Tim peeked around the corner and instantly he hid again as his expression matched Tony's worried look. "She's back." He told Tony.

"Told you." Tony whispered back.

"Who's back?" Gibbs asked now annoyed while Fornell looked at him.

"Uh, I looked into the cases the FBI was working on and there was a name that came up and well…" Tim looked at Tony who was taking deep breath. Shutting his eyes Tim cringed as he blurted out a name.

"Dr. Samantha Ryan."

That name hit Gibbs like a punch in the gut. He hoped he didn't hear that correctly so hesitantly he asked.

"Doctor who?"

Fornell let out a groan knowing exactly why Gibbs asked that question as he tossed his full cup of coffee in the trash bin.

"Oh hell… here we go."
