Well my dears, it took me a while but I hope you enjoy this chapter. I have a little explanation at the bottom for what goes on in this one. But any way enjoy!

"Jackson, on your left!"

The Halloween spirit jumped back, scythe in as a mass of black almost grabbed a hold of his leg. Looking around at the other three members of his group, each of whom was engaged in their own battles, Jackson gritted his teeth.

'It's only thirty minutes in, and we're already in trouble. DAMNIT!" He shouted to himself, cutting through a charging spirit. The clink of metal on metal sounded as a spirit bounced off Dianna's macuahuitl as she swing it at an attacking spirit. "How long has it been already!" She shouted, smacking one down.

"Who know's, duck!" Vahness shouted, shooting an arrow over her friend's head. Shiro moved forward and cut through a Spirit that had come up behind their leader's. "We have to stand together. If they are this strong now, just wait till 3AM." Shiro stated, gripping her sword tightly.

"You're right. EVERYONE! COVER EA-"

"AHHH!"

"DIANNA!"

The Hispanic woman hand struck down one spirit but two had snuck up behind her, engulfing her body.

"Hold still I'll get them off!" Vahness said, aiming her crossbow in the direction Dianna's struggles came from. But before she could shoot another pair of spirits latched on to her, one wrapping around her wings.

"Vahness! Uh!" Jackson had looked down only to see three spirits attached to him, two holding down his legs while the third one wrapped around his neck. Fear coursed through the Reaper as the spirit began to move up and close around his mouth. Over where Dianna and Vahness had fallen, both women were consumed by the dark spirits.

"Jackson!"

The last things he saw before blacking out, was Shiro calling for him but stopping and running out of his field of vision and more spirits passing by.

Jackson groaned as he sat up. 'My head, what ha..THE GIRLS!' His eyes shot opened and he looked around. He was sitting, alone, by a river bank. The sun was shining and the wind ruffled through the near by trees. "Where am I?" He thought aloud. Still feeling dizzy, he moved over to the river and splashed some water on his face.

Wiping his eyes, Jackson looked down and moved back in shock. Looking again at his reflection, he noted his hair was just all orangey ginger and his eyes were blue. 'This is me, when I was alive!' He brushed his hair back, trying to take everything in.

"SHIRO?"

"VAHNESS!"

"DIANNA!"

The Reaper shouted, standing up. "GUYS, WHERE ARE YOU!" He shouted, looking around.

"We're right here man. God, can't leave you alone for short time, can we." A male voice said. Jackson froze. That voice, he hadn't heard it in ages. Slowly turning around, he spotted three men walking his way.

Each was close to his age, the youngest had short neat cut black hair, the oldest had black hair as well but it was a little wavy . The owner of the voice, was a man with slight sun-kissed skin and short brown hair.

"What's wrong with your face? You look like you've seen a ghost." The oldest pointed out, brushing some hair back and making a small mole under his left eye visible.

"Sh..Shamus..,Vincent, Dawson."

The three newcomers were shocked as Jackson pulled them into a tight hug. "I'm sorry….."

BOING! BOING!

"What's that noise?!" Toothiana asked, her sword in hand as all five of them stood on guard. " It sounds like sheets of plastic when you shake them." North started, looking around as the sound intensified. Looking up at the sky, Sandy got a hunch and made a cloud. He went up as high as he could before feeling his head hit something invisible.

Placing a hand on what ever he struck, the Dream Maker could feel the vibrations coming from the other side. Descending down, Sandy quickly tried to tell them what he thought was going. " Something is trying to break in?" North deduced, the Golden man nodded.

Rumble...Rumble

Now, along with the sounds coming from above, the ground began to shake. "This isn't good mates. " Bunny said, ears twitching as. "But the barrier is still up, we should be alright even with all this. Shouldn't we?" Toothiana asked. Jack took off through the garden, stopping at a bird bath.

"Frostbite, what are you doing?" Bunny shouted. "Something that Shiro taught me!" The winter bringer replied. "She told me to watch the water in this bird bath. It's not moving, even with all this shaking!" He hurried back to the others, staff gripped tight. "Something bad is going on with them. The barrier around us is about to break."

CRASH!

Unbeknownst to them, inside the gazebo, a small trickle of blood was flowing from the corners of each of the Keeper's mouth.

"Vahness? Love, can you hear me?" A voice asked, a slight Italian accent to it.

Vahness groaned, opening her eyes as she started to wake. Slowly, the image of a man with short dark brown hair and hazel eyes focused in. Gasp! The Greek woman shot up, long wavy black hair falling in her face. "Uh?!" Getting up she made her way to a mirror, shocked at both what she could see and that she could see.

"Honey? Are you alright?" The man asked again. "G..Giovanni. Is it really you?" She asked, cupping his face as he came close. "Well of course, who else where you-mmph!" Vahness had silenced him with a kiss. " Where are we anyway?" She asked, looking around. Despite her overall joy of having her sight and Husband back, something wasn't right.

The two were in a room, bedroom, but nothing other than herself and Giovanni were in focus. "Right, I guess I should have expected that. We made it to the village! The one we planned to settle down in for a few years." Giovanni explained to her. "Come look!" He said pushing over a pair of doors.

The sun flooded Vahness' vision as her. " I got us an ocean view. Isn't it beautiful?" Giovani asked, walking out onto the balcony. Everything was blurry here too, what was going on? " Yes, it's beautiful." Vahness responded, resting her elbows on the ledge. She let out a yawn, pausing for a moment afterwards.

The couple's moment was cut short as the crying of a young child echoed out through the room. "I guess he's away. Come one, it time for a proper meeting between the two of you" Giovanni said, taking Vahness' and leading her back and out of the room. The rest of the house was blurry as well, this raising more suspicions.

They entered the room where crying emanated from, and in the corner was a small bed with a little bundle moving. "Love, say hello." Even if her vision wasn't blurry, it would be now due to all the tears. Vahness leaned down and gently scooped up the baby, holding him close.

" Giovanni...I love you."

"Dianna. Dianna! DIANNA!"

Dianna shot up only to be hit with an apron to the face. "GET UP YOU LAZY SERVANT AND GET TO WORK!" The woman shouted, getting impatient and grabbing Dianna by the hair. "Alright! I'm up you see!" Dianna said, shoving her away. "Are you talking back to me!"

The woman grabbed her and forced Dianna to looker in the eye. "Now listen here. My family didn't take you in just for you to slack off, remember if it wasn't for us, you'd be in the hands of the inquisition. Now, get to work!" She released her and stormed off. The Lady of the Dead stayed there, rubbing her head.

'That woman...who is she?' Dianna thought, tying on the apron while rummaging through her thoughts. She walked out of the room, which was a small bedroom, and into the kitchen. There were several more women there, all dressed in simple clothes, that were either cleaning or cooking.

"Oh! Dianna, linda, can you please go to the market?" One of the women asked, walking up to her. "The Master of the house is having a party tonight and we need some ingredients for a few of the dishes." She continued. "Yeah, no problem." Dianna agreed, taking a list the other woman had given her.

Dianna returned to the small bedroom, her body mostly moving on its own. She picked up a small shall and stopped to look in the mirror. "My tattoos are gone. And my eyes are brown again." She thought aloud. "Where am I?" Moving that thought aside, Dianna hurried out and to the market place.

'I'm in Spain. But this it Spain years ago.' She thought looking around. Entering the market place, Dianna absentmindedly visited the stands, purchasing what was needed.

"Dianna! Ey, Dianna!"

The sound of running footsteps and a young woman, very much around Dianna's age stopped in front of her. " I spread the word to the others about tonight's ceremony. We should have a good turn out." She informed, brushing some hair out of her face.

"...Isabella."

"North I think there is a problem!" Toothiana shouted, stabbing an orb that flew towards her. "Da, but we promised to help! We can do it Toothie, just less than an hour!" The Russian responded back, striking two orbs at once. A little more above, Sandy was engaged in his own little battle, taking out most of the ones coming in.

Disbursing a group of three, some of the orbs essence stayed on the whip. Feeling it, Sandy could best describe as silk but it was still smoke. " Heads up, little guy!" Jack shouted, freezing an orb and cracking it with his staff. "Better keep your guard up. Ness wouldn't be happy if something happened to you."

Sandy nervously scratched his head, and headed back to the ground with Jack. For some reason the orbs were starting to dwindle. Bunny was finishing off the last of them. "Is everyone ok?" North asked, sheathing his swords.

"No injuries, just a little scratch." Bunny informed, brushing his shoulder. "Well it looks like they've stopped for the time. But there's still a good thirty minutes left." Jack said, looking up to where the orbs had come from. Silence overcame them as the wind blew, making the Pooka's ears twitch. "You guys hear that?" He asked.

"No." The others responded, Sandy making a question mark. "Course not. It's crying, Like from…" Turning to direction of the gazebo, Bunny tried to cross over but the barrier around there wouldn't let him. "It looks like something is going on." Toothiana said, flying around to try and get a better look. "Hermes is flying around."

"Oi! Kid, Yuki, can you hear me!" Bunny called out to the little rabbit. It took a few seconds but the little kit hopped out, his appearance causing gasp to go around. The once white bunny was splotched with red, most notably on his paws. "He doesn't look hurt." North noted, as Yuki hopped back into the gazebo.

"Then who's blood is that?" Toothiana asked but no one was able to answer do to the ground shaking again. "It's starting up again..Everyone get ready!" Jack stated.

"HYA!" Shiro plunged her sword down, a bright light emanating from it and dispelling all the spirits that were currently attacking. The light made a dome around Shiro and her friends, keeping any spirits from entering. Hurrying, Shiro moved her friends so that the three of them were side by side.

'I'm too late, the spirits have already entered them.' She bit her lip and looked to them. Both Jackson and Dianna faces had gone from peace to torchered, whatever it was that they were going through would no doubt be affecting their bodies. Vahness, on the other hand, was more happy. Shiro's new there was only one thing that could make her that happy and it made her heart ache that she'd have to wake her.

Behind her, the light was starting to falter, spirits being to get by but not in to the dome. 'It won't last long...I have no choice, three are better than one.' Standing above her friends, Shiro began to chant. A glow formed around the unconscious Keepers, Jackson and Dianna's faced relaxing a little while Vahness' became tense.

At once, Jackson Dianna, and Vahness' mouths and eyes opened, letting screams and black smoke out. Shiro ended her chant allowed the spirits to enter her body, collapsing as her friend's shot up.

"...Are you two alright?" Jackson spoke, being the first to gain his voice. The girls didn't answer, but he could guess their answer. "Where's Shiro? I can't sense her." Vahness asked. Looking behind them, Diana and Jackson quickly scurried to their friend.

"Shiro! SHIRO! Can you hear us!" Diana shouted, trying to shake her friend. "She must of exercised us and taken the spirits on herself. She's no use to us, we have to send her back." Jackson said, looking to where Shiro's sword was. "This light is about to fade, we need one of us to keep the spirits at bay while we send her back." He said.

"You two get Shiro to safety.I'll keep them away." Vahness said, getting up. "V, you look more worn out than Dianna and I! You could end up just like Shiro!" Jackson tried to reason. "I can handle it. Besides, it only takes two to send her back." Vahness stated. "Now go we don't have time to waste."

"This is more than before! We're getting totally creamed!" Jack shouted, shooting ice bolt as fast as he could, Toothiana shattering them. "We can do it! It's almost over!" North called back. "Crikey! The're too many off them!" Bunny threw both boomerangs, the weapons cutting through two spirits but four more closed in.

"It's almost three!"

Orbs closed in on them, Sandy got knocked off his cloud, Tooth was grounded too as she tried to avoid getting hit and struck a tree branch. "North they're closing in on us! Where is the hour glass!" Bunny asked, as the five of them were at each other's backs.

"I don't know! Too many orbs closing in, I can't see anything!"

"Jack, I'm scared!"

" I got you, Tooth."

The orbs circled and began to close around them, the amount being now too much to cut through, and darkness began to fall.

SHING!

The orbs dispersed, the dark mass having been cut from the outside. Once the orbs were gone, the Guardians looked to who had save them from whatever could have happened.

"So, this is how talented the great Guardians are?"
