The Return of Callie ch26

I have lost all inspiration for this story, I have completely run out of ideas. So I'm ending it in this chapter and then one final one after it. thank you all for your continuous support!

Callie slowly woke up one morning, she didn't feel great but she knew that she didn't have a lot of time. She had watched Liam kill her father right in front of her, she wasn't sorry that her father was dead but it made her more afraid of Liam. She had to end this, she had to get home. Wincing in pain, Callie started inching towards the wall which Liam had left a knife lodged in.

"What's up?" asked Liam as he closed the door to his car and walked over to where Brandon was standing.

"Liam's been sending me stuff, letters. He's leading me to Callie, I even managed to talk to her on the phone for a little bit, she's still alive." Said Brandon.

"What do you mean you've talked to Callie? Is she ok?" asked Wyatt.

"No she's not ok! Liam is crazy and he's already killed her father, we need to get her out of there!" said Brandon.

"Ok where do we start?" asked Wyatt.

"Liam left me another map along with the message that told me to get you involved in finding Callie." Said Brandon.

"So let's follow it, we can use your car, mine's about ready to break down anyway." Said Wyatt, Brandon nodded and together they got into the car and drove off. Brandon was driving as Wyatt read the map.

"Uh turn right here." Said Wyatt, Brandon did as he said.

"Make another right…and keep driving straight after that, we are about 50 miles away from wherever this dick is sending us." Said Wyatt, Brandon didn't answer him.

"How do you think she's doing?" asked Wyatt after a few minutes of silence. Brandon sighed.

"I don't know, I hope so. She's strong, she's survived this long, hopefully she'll be ok." Answered Brandon.

"Does Stef know that you're doing this?" asked Wyatt, Brandon shook his head.

"No. No Liam threatened that he would…he would kill Callie if I told anyone, especially my mom." Said Brandon. The car ride was silent the rest of the way there.

After a long and excruciatingly painful process, Callie managed to free the knife from the wall and inch back over to where she was. She concealed the knife as she heard Liam's car pull up and watched as he stormed into the house and stalked right over to her. He grabbed her roughly and hit her across the face before tearing off what little she was wearing and got on top of her.

"Don't worry Callie, it'll all be over soon." Said Liam in her ear.

"Damn right" said Callie as she brought the knife out from behind her back and stabbed Liam with it, right through the heart. As he gasped and sputtered, surprised at the sudden pain and injury done to him, Callie kicked him off and slowly made her way to the adjoining room to find something to wear. She found an old t-shirt and basketball shorts which she put on. Then she searched for a phone but didn't see one.

"I have to get out of here." Mumbled Callie as she slowly limped outside and over to Liam's car. She opened it, bending down, Callie hotwired the car.

"C'mon c'mon" said Callie desperately as she touched the wires together until she finally heard the engine start up. Smiling triumphantly, Callie put the car and gear and started to drive away, not really knowing where she was headed. Eventually she found the highway and realized that she was headed in the wrong direction so she made a U-turn and began to head towards the police station.

Brandon and Wyatt's route had them take all the back roads. When they finally pulled up to the end of the map. It was an old cabin, falling apart. The windows were broken, the wood rotting away, shingles falling off the roof.

"This place is a dump." Said Wyatt.

"We have to go inside." said Brandon.

"I don't suppose you have a gun on you or anything?" asked Wyatt.

"No, but I've been able to take Liam before, and you've fought him too." Said Brandon, Wyatt nodded.

"Alright, let's go in." said Wyatt, Brandon was already halfway to the door. Wyatt rushed to catch up to him as Brandon put his hand on the door and slowly pushed it open. Both boys got the shock of their lives when they spotted the body on the floor, covered in blood and a knife still sticking out of its chest.

"Is that?" asked Wyatt.

"Liam." Said Brandon.

"What do you think happened?" asked Wyatt. Brandon walked towards the body and noticed the shredded clothes next to it, they looked a bit like the t-shirt that Callie was wearing.

"Callie must have managed to get ahold of the knife and fight back." Said Brandon.

"I think it's time to call your mom" said Wyatt, Brandon nodded and pulled out his cell, thankfully he had service. He dialed his mom's number.

Stef was sitting at her desk, going over the autopsy report of Jacob again when her phone rang.

"Officer Foster" said Stef as she answered it, not looking at the caller ID.

-Mom it's Brandon, I found where Liam's been keeping Callie…and I found Liam. The address is… as Brandon told her mom the address of the cabin, the door to the police station opened and Callie walked through, her hands and legs were covered in blood.

"Oh my God." Said Stef

-Yeah, I'm so- Brandon began to apologize for not telling his mom.

"No, it's not that, though you are going to explain how you found it. Callie just walked in here." Said Stef

-What? How did she get there? Asked Brandon

"I don't know, Brandon call your dad and tell him everything I have to go." Said Stef before hanging up, not giving Brandon a chance to reply. Stef got up and rushed over to where Callie was standing.

"Callie sweetheart are you ok?" asked Stef, Callie shook her head.

"I had to do it." said Callie.
