A/N: Two chapters in less than a week, this is what a lot of free time will do. Anyways, I really enjoyed writing out this chapter, I've had this planned for a while, and it felt really good to finally do it. Just like it did when I brought in the Forces of Nature. Anyways, enjoy the new chapter,

Chapter 26: Saying Goodbye

-Fairy Tail Guild Grounds-

It was the next day after the incident with Phantom Lord, the guild members were trying to go about their usual business the best they could, given that their guild was completely destroyed. But other than that everything was peaceful.

"For the last time, you can't use it!" Well, all except for Viridi yelling at Makarov.

"But please…we can save so much money if…" Makarov tried to plead.

"Like I care about that!" Viridi yelled. "You use it and I'll kill you!"

"Are they still arguing?" Gray asked as he walked up to the ones watching this event unfold.

"Yep," Phosphora answered. "Although calling it an argument might be kinda generous at this point. It's really just Viridi yelling at that old guy."

"And all this for a dumb tree?" Natsu asked. "I don't get it. We should just chop it down and have a huge bonfire." Natsu said with a giant grin on his face.

"It would be wise to keep comments like that to yourself," Arlon said as he continued to watch the one-sided argument between Viridi and Makarov. "Mistress Viridi is very passionate about nature. So it makes sense that she'd defend that tree, even more so since she's responsible for its massive growth." Sure enough, the tree Viridi made grow to help fight Jose's shades was still as giant as she had made it.

"Please…if we use the wood from this tree, we'll save so much money on repairs," Makarov stated. "Can't you find any kindness in your heart to let us use it?"

"Let me say this as clear as I can," Viridi said. "No. Way. In. Hell. Are. You. Cutting. Down. This. Tree!"

"You're so cruel…why are the young so cruel to the old?" Makarov asked, tears streaming down his face.

"Just rebuild your stupid guild using stones," Viridi said. "Or better yet, just rebuild it out of the remains of your old one."

"If we did either of those the guild wouldn't be able to stand for a week. Besides," Makarov said as he pointed to the massive tree. "that tree is on Fairy Tail property, it therefore makes it mine to use however I want."

"But I'm the one responsible for its growth in the first place!" Viridi yelled. "In fact, even if it was still a normal sized tree, I still wouldn't let you cut it down!" Viridi and Makarov then literally butted heads, sparks literally flying between their eyes.

"I bet as soon as we leave that old guy is gonna cut it down anyways," Phosphora said.

"That would be logical," Arlon said. "Viridi is the only one trying to stop him after all."

"Oh yeah," Natsu said. "Has anyone seen Pit? He's been missing all day."

"I believe Miss Scarlet is forcing him to rest at his home so he can regain all of his strength," Arlon said. "It makes sense that she would, after all, Pit used up a good majority of his magic during that whole ordeal."

"I bet if he was at full strength, he wouldn't have had a problem beating that Jose guy," Natsu said. "I kinda wish I had a chance to fight him."

"Phosphora, did you say something about leaving?" Mirajane said as she walked up to the group, having heard them talking.

"Yeah, Viridi said she wanted to leave as soon as possible," Phosphora said. "Something about avoiding any more trouble with the 'Fairy Tail idiots' as she put it."

"But before that, she has to take care of a few things," Arlon said.

"Like making sure that tree doesn't get cut down?" Lucy asked.

"That's one of them," Arlon said.

"Aw man…so Craggy's gonna be leaving soon?" Natsu asked. "By the way, where is he?"

"I think I saw him eating some of the rocks that were in the rubble of the Fairy Tail building," Mirajane said. "It's too bad you guys gotta go, it would have been awesome if you could join Fairy Tail."

"Get back here Pit!" they suddenly heard the voice of Erza yell.

"I told you! I'm feeling just fine!" said Pit's voice. The group turned towards the noise to see Erza chasing Pit as he was flying up in the air.

"You're barely at three quarters of your full strength! Get back to bed this instant!" Erza yelled.

"Seems like Pit's just fine to me," Gray said.

"Pit never was one to let his exhaustion slow him down," Arlon said. "I suppose it's both a good and bad quality of his." Pit then landed in front of the others a wide grin on his face.

"Hey guys, what are you up to?" he asked right before Erza lifted him up by the back of his shirt. "Hey! Let me go!" Pit shouted as he flailed his arms and legs up and down.

"No way! It's back to bed for you this instant!" Erza shouted.

Mirajane giggled as she said, "Relax Erza, Pit looks just fine. I'm sure if he just takes it easy he'll be back to his full strength in no time. Besides, being around friends is a lot better than being cooped up in his house."

Erza was silent for a moment before she sighed and released Pit, saying, "I suppose you have a point there Mira. But Pit, you just ruined another one of your shirts!"

It seemed like every time Pit used the Power of Flight and summoned his wings, the wings would tear massive holes into the back of his shirt.

"Uh…" Pit said, not really knowing what to say.

"I suppose it can't be helped, just wear that for now and change later," Erza said.

"What's everyone doing over here?" Viridi asked as she approached the group, dragging a beaten up Makarov behind her.

"We were just talking is all Mistress Viridi," Arlon said. "And I see you were able to…convince Master Makarov into keeping the tree up."

"Yep, so you guys ready to go?" Viridi asked.

"I am ready to leave when you are," Arlon stated.

"I guess so," Phosphora said. "I'll go get Cragalanche." Phosphora then walked off to collect the golem turned human.

"I suppose it's only appropriate that Fairy Tail sees you off," Makarov said, suddenly recovered from his beating by Viridi. "Shall we escort you to the town's entrance?"

"Fine whatever," Viridi said as she walked off, her commanders following suit as well as the entirety of the Fairy Tail guild. When they arrived to the gate, Viridi and her commanders turned towards to group that had followed them, Makarov, Gray, Natsu, Lucy, Erza, and Pit in the front of the group.

"I guess this is good bye Viridi," Pit said as he scratched the back of his head.

"I guess it is," Viridi stated. "Now hand it over Pit."

"Uh…hand what over?" Pit asked confused.

"You know very well what I mean! The Daybreak!" Viridi shouted.

"What!? No way! What if I encounter some sort of giant monster and none of my other attacks work?"

"Like that'll ever happen, now hand it over!" Viridi shouted.

"I said no!" Pit shouted back.

"…Fine. You leave me no choice then," Viridi said as her words confused Pit as she out stretched her hand and pointed at Pit, his wings suddenly appearing on his back.

"…You wouldn't dare," Pit said.

"Oh, I would," Viridi said as Pit's wings gained a green glow to them and Viridi pointed upwards, as Pit followed the motion and went hurtling into the sky, Pit screaming all the while as Viridi pointed in varying directions as Pit went in the directions as pointed.

Everyone in the guild was extremely confused by what was going on, but Lucy voiced everyone's thoughts when she asked, "Uh…what's wrong with Pit?"

"What? Did he never tell you?" Phosphora asked.

"Tell us what?" Erza asked.

"Pit is unable to fly on his own," Arlon stated, surprising many of the guild members.

"But we've seen Pit fly plenty of times," Gray stated. "How can he not fly?"

"You see, where Pit is from Aera Magic is very common," Arlon explained. "But Pit's wings are too small to allow him to fly by himself."

"Viridi!" Pit yelled. "Stop it! I only have a minute left!"

"Then you better fork over the pieces, cause they can burn for all I care!" Viridi shouted.

"Uh…what does she mean by burn?" Lucy asked a bit fearfully.

"Pit uses a spell called the Power of Flight to enchant his wings to give himself the ability to fly. It is the same spell Mistress Viridi is using right now," Arlon explained. "But, this spell can only be used five minutes each day. If the five minutes are exceeded, the user's wings will burn up." This information surprised everyone in the Fairy Tail guild.

"So that's why Pit never accepted any of my challenges to a race," Happy said.

"Alright! Alright! You win! I'll give them to you!" Pit shouted as he was still being thrown around like a rag doll.

Viridi smirked as she said, "Good." As she then deactivated the magic, letting Pit fall from sky and impact the ground between herself and the Fairy Tail group. "Now hand them over."

"You just dropped Pit from one hundred feet in the air!" Lucy shouted.

"Oh please, something like this won't hurt him," Viridi said as Pit picked himself off the ground. "See?"

"That really hurt you know," Pit said as he stood up.

"Quit complaining and just hand them over already," Viridi said, which caused Pit to sigh and hold his hands out, a bright light appearing as the three pieces of the Daybreak appeared in front of him.

"There you happy?" Pit asked.

"Very," Viridi said as Arlon picked up the three pieces and sent them to his own pocket dimension. "And know we can take our leave."

"You know, why not join us in Fairy Tail?" Makarov suggested, gaining the attention of three of the four, Cragalanche just staring blankly. "We could always use some strong mages like yourselves in our guild."

"No way you crazy old man!" Viridi yelled. "I don't wanna be involved in anything else your crazy guild does!"

"I'm sorry, but where ever Mistress Viridi goes I follow," Arlon said.

"Can Craggy stay then?" Natsu asked, excitement in his voice.

"No!" Viridi shouted. "And stop calling him Craggy! His name is Cragalanche!"

"But Craggy is way easier to remember and say," Natsu said.

"I don't care!" Viridi shouted. "We're leaving right now."

"Hold on a minute Viridi," Phosphora said.

"What is it now?" Viridi asked, some irritation clear in her voice.

"I think at least one of us should stay behind," Phosphora said.

"And why do you think that?" Viridi asked.

"Well, someone has to keep an eye on that tree of yours," Phosphora pointed out, now catching Viridi's attention. "After all, I'm sure when you're gone, they'll just chop it down anyways and use it to rebuild that guild of theirs and use the rest as fire wood." Viridi was now standing completely still, thinking over what Phosphora had just proposed. "And besides," Phosphora whispered in her ear. "Do you really want Palutena to be the only one with someone here?"

Viridi looked right at Phosphora as she stood back up. "I suppose it can't be helped," Viridi said. "Phosphora until further notice, you are to stay here and watch over things for me. Do whatever you want. Just don't get in trouble."

"Alright," Phosphora said as she smirked triumphantly. "I'll try to do my best."

"Good," Viridi said. "Now, if anyone has anything else to say before we leave, say it now." At that, Natsu walked forward and stood in front of Cragalanche.

"I guess we won't be seeing each other for a while, huh Craggy?" Natsu asked, only to get a blank stare back. "Next time we see each other, let's have our own fight to see who's stronger." Natsu then held his hand out in front of Cragalanche. "Whaddaya say?" For a moment. Cragalanche just looked at Natsu's hand before a small smile made its way onto his lips, and he raised his own hand up grabbed Natsu's in his. Natsu smirked as he said, "Then it's a deal." The two then let go of each other's hand as Natsu rejoined his fellow guild mates.

"Alright, let's get going," Viridi said as she walked out of the town, Arlon and Cragalanche following her.

"If you ever find yourselves back in Fiore, you're welcome in Fairy Tail any time!" Makarov shouted at them.

"Whatever old man!" Viridi shouted back at him, not even turning back to see everyone in Fairy Tail had risen up one of their arms and were pointing towards the sky. The three were soon out of sight from the guild as they continued to walk.

"Let's just get to the warp zone and get outta here," Viridi said as she walked, Arlon and Cragalanche on either side of her. She then looked over at Arlon as he started to chuckle a bit. "What's so funny? It's not very often that you laugh."

"I'm just curious is all," Arlon said. "Cragalanche was original just a boulder that had gained a soul, and then manifested a will to live. Have you ever wondered why that is?"

"Not really actually," Viridi said as she looked over at Cragalanche, as he once again adopted his blank expression. "He doesn't really do much after all."

"Well, I think it's that Cragalanche has always wanted to be a human," Arlon said. "A world like this has given Cragalanche that chance, and look what he's done with it. He's made more friends, battled fierce enemies, and even has a friendly rival in Natsu. I believe that given the proper amount of time, Cragalanche will actually be able to be a 'normal' human being."

"…You realize that sounds completely insane, right?" Viridi asked.

"Maybe it does," Arlon admitted as he laughed a bit. "But you have to admit, it is a nice thought."

-Fairy Tail-

"So, where would you like your guild mark Phosphora, and in what color?" Mirajane asked as she held up Fairy Tail's guild mark stamp, after rummaging through the debris for a bit to find it.

"Right here," Phosphora said as she lifted up her shirt with one hand to show her stomach, pointing to the bottom left corner of it with her other. "And make it yellow." Mirajane pressed the stamp where Phosphora had pointed, and a yellow Fairy Tail mark appeared after she lifted it up.

"Welcome to Fairy Tail Phosphora," Mirajane said with a smile. "I'm sure you'll love it here."

"Oh, I'm sure I will," Phosphora said with a smirk as Mirajane walked off as Pit then walked up to her.

"So why did you really wanna stay behind?" Pit asked.

"Figures I couldn't fool you with that nature talk," Phosphora said. "Honestly, it just seemed like it would be fun. You've been here for a while, and you've made lots of friends. And if I were to guess, have gone of some pretty insane adventures so far knowing you."

Pit smiled as he said, "Yeah, I've had a blast while I've been here. There are so many things to do. And there's no shortage of strong opponents either."

"So I've seen," Phosphora said, remembering her fight with Juvia.

"But…uh…" Pit said.

"What is it?" Phosphora asked.

"Can you please keep the fact that we're from another world a secret?" Pit asked, causing Phosphora to raise an eyebrow in question. "I mean, who knows how they'll react if they find out and word spreads. I just don't want any unnecessary attention brought to us."

"Fine, whatever," Phosphora said. "I wasn't really even planning to do that anyway. I'm only here to have a good time."

Pit smiled as he said, "Cool."

"Alright boys! Let's cut this tree down!" Makarov said as he was now wearing a hard hat and standing in front of the massive tree.

"Don't you have job to do?" Pit asked, catching Phosphora's attention. "I mean, if Viridi finds out you let them cut the tree down when you said you'd look after it…"

"…Damn it…" Phosphora said as she walked off to protect the tree.

A/N: Bam! I bet none of you say that coming with what the chapter title was. Troll title for the win. That aside, I'm glad everyone enjoyed the last chapter. And something I forgot to mention, this story has hit 100 Followers. With the 100th follower being, fittingly enough, EpicPit. I just wanna thank everyone for reading this story. You guys make all the work I put into these worth it. Onto another note though, the little question I asked a couple of chapters ago, a possible second element for Cragalanche. A lot of you had good suggestions. Loki921, I liked you suggestion of wood, because it would have been something unique. But something I noticed with Dragon Slayer gaining a second element is that they got it from another Dragon Slayer. So, the gears in my turned a bit, and the first logical choice that came to mind for me was fire, seeing how close I've made Natsu and Cragalanche. Then I thought "Hm...if Cragalanche did gain a fire element...then could he have access to magma like techniques?" Then I thought of, in my opinion anyways, a fairly cool move that Cragalanche could use if that were the case. So, odds are I'm going to go with fire. Sorry if some of you are disappointed, but I honestly did consider some of your guys' suggestions. Now, here's a alternate scene with a forth wall break.

"Hey! What are you trying to do!?" Viridi shouted. "Foreshadow some opponent you'll be facing in the near future in which no one has the power to defeat? If you have that weapon, it would destroy the point of that event happening!"

"Uh...what are they talking about?" Lucy asked.

"Who know," Gray commented.

Points go to whoever can figure out who Viridi is talking about. That's all I gotta say for now, so Favorite and Follow if you haven't already and leave a review on your thoughts on the story. This has probably bee my longest Author's Note ever. Oh, and one more thing before I go, Gry18, get out of my head!
