Chapter Twenty-Six

A/N: Hey guys thanks so much for being so patient with me! I have been on vacation for a few weeks and didn't have time to write but i am back now! I hope you enjoy the chapter.

Klaus's POV

" When do I get to meet your daughter?" Caroline asks when we arrive at the house.

" Soon, perhaps you would like to freshen up after your flight? Maybe have a shower or some blood." I say.

" Some blood would be nice." she says.

"Do you have a favourite blood type? I have them all so you can your pick." I say.

"Anything but B negative, I can't stand that blood type, it's absolutely vile." she says.

"I'm sure I can find something." I say pulling open the door of the fridge, looking inside I chuckle to myself as I see the note attached to the shelf in front of the bags containing B-negative. 'Hands off or else' is scrawled on a piece of paper in Yetta's graceful handwriting. I grab two bags of O positive before shutting the door and tossing one to Caroline along with a glass. "So how was your flight?" I ask taking a seat opposite her.

"It was ok, kinda boring and we took off almost an hour late because there was some problem with the landing gear of the plane and they spent ages trying to fix it before finally deciding to just give us a different plane. If they'd just given us the new plane right away it would have saved a lot of time and boredom." she says.

"Here's your blood, B-positive, that's ok isn't it?" I ask.

"It's fine thanks, so who else lives here? Is it just you, your siblings and Hayley?" she asks.

"No. Henrietta lives here to, she's an old friend of the family. We've known her for years." I say.

"Which one's my room? Please tell me it has an en-suite because I am so not sharing a bathroom." she says.

"Your room has an en-suite. Most of them do, there are a few that don't, but those are reserved for people I don't particularly like but an obligated to accommodate for one reason or another." I say.

"In what universe would you ever be obligated to accommodate someone you don't particularly like?" she asks.

"We all have to do things we don't particularly want to do sometimes Caroline. Now if you are finished with your blood I will show you to your room." I say.

Yetta's POV

"Why are we here Damon? I have better things to do with my time than sitting here watching you drink." a voice says I look up to see a young African-American woman coming to a stop beside Damon who is sitting at a table with his brother, Elena and a blonde I have learned is Matt Donovan, ex-boyfriend to both Caroline and Elena and best friend of Tyler Lockwood.

"Save the judgey eyes for someone who cares and take a seat Bonnie, I have some important information to share with you." Damon says.

"Don't forget that I can make your blood boil by merely squinting my eyes." Bonnie threatens pulling out a chair and sitting down beside Elena who gives her a quick smile.

"There's a new vampire in town. I don't know who she is or what her reasons are for being here, but she knew exactly who I was and had a fairly extensive knowledge of the history of this town, dating right back to 1864 and the arrival of one Katerina Petrova." he says.

"Why would that be of any interest to us?" Matt asks.

"Because she has a day-light ring, and she was able to overpower me with no visible effort." Damon says.

"Why did she over power you?" Bonnie asks.

"I may have tried to relieve her of her ring and she may not have taken that particularly well." the oldest Salvatore says.

"You tried to take her daylight ring from her? Why would you go and do something like that?" Elena asks.

"I wanted see how she'd react." he responds defensively.

"And how did that work out for you?" Bonnie asks.

"Not particularly well, she slammed my head into the tarmac then told me I need to learn to respect my elders and brush up on my vampire lore." he says.

"What did she mean by that?" Elena asks.

"I don't know, I think it was her way of telling me she's older than me without coming out and saying it directly." he says.

"What does she look like?" Bonnie asks.

"Average height, long wavy black hair, sparkling green eyes, pale, wears a lot of black and speaks with a British accent." he says.

"And what do you want us to do with this information?" Stefan asks.

"I don't know, I think we should make her leave town before she has a chance to put her evil plan into motion. But the decision should be made my all of us and that's why I called you all here to discuss our best course of action" Damon says.

"Why do we have to do anything?" Bonnie asks.

"Because she attacked me!" Damon replies throwing his hands up into the air in frustration.

"Only because you provoked her." Bonnie comments. "You provoke a lot of people Damon, if you'd tried to take my jewellery I would have taken you down too."

"What if she's up to no good?" Damon asks.

"If she's up to no good we'll deal with her, but until you can prove that she is up to no good, or that she has an ulterior motive for being here how about you just leave her alone?" Stefan suggests.

"As you wish brother, but when she poses a threat, and she WILL pose a threat, don't say that I didn't warn you." Damon says pushing his chair back from the table before standing up and stomping away angrily.

"You know you really ought to learn to control your emotions better. Getting frustrated over not getting your way is what prevents you reaching your full potential as a vampire. You always have to be right Damon, and you always have to be the best at everything, it's what made such an easy target for Katerina." I say appearing in front of him and barring his way. "Oh and here's a free tip, if you're going to discuss the possible removal of a new comer to your town you may want to be sure that newcomer isn't within earshot." I add with a smirk before continuing on my way outside.

Rebekahs POV

"Klaus I've been here almost a week and I haven't met your daughter yet. Are you ever going to introduce me to her?" Carolines whiny voice floats out through the open kitchen window.

"Oh goody, our new house-mate has arrived, I simply cannot wait to welcome her." I say sarcastically causing Hayley to chuckle.

"You know your brother will have our heads if we aren't civil to her." she points out.

"Yes I am well aware of that thank-you. That's why I'm trying to get my snarky comments out now, that way I won't be tempted to use them in front of her."I say.

"You're not even going to be tempted?" she asks.

"Yeah...ok so I might be tempted but if I bitch about her now I won't feel as tempted to bitch about her to her face." I say.

"Are you going to tell Klaus about Yetta being gone?" she asks.

"I don't know, he deserves to know that she's gone, I mean they are best friends and he saved her life and made her a vampire but I don't know how he's gonna react to finding out she's gone and if there's still people out there plotting to harm Hope we're gonna need him here to protect her." I say.

"That's all true but what about Yetta? Who's going to protect her? Those wolves know who she is now, she could be in danger." she says.

"If there's one thing I know about Yetta after all these years it's that she can take care of herself. She also has friends all over the world both living and undead. So even if we do tell Klaus there is no guarantee that he will be able to find her."I say.
