Itachi awoke with a start when the sound of his daughter's vocals penetrated his eardrums from his light sleep. Jumping out of bed, he flashed in Yuki's room, finding her up and bawling, though it felt off somehow.
"What's wrong?" He inquired timidly, hardly one for comforting anyone.
At this, the little girl smiled tiredly. "Mommy always did say you were bad at these things."
That night, Itachi was a bit more displeased to find out she had faked it, to gauge his reaction that Mommy had assumed correctly on.
