"This blade, who made it?"

Kise observed the sword.

"My dad, Fuji," Gohan responded.

"Fuji huh? That man knows how to craft weapons alright."

"You know my dad?"

"Yes. He crafted some of my men's weapons. He's one of the best in the land. This must be his best work yet. Take a look at this."

He showed Gohan his sword. It was rusty and old but still in good shape.

"My dad made this?"

"He sure did. Misugi is the name. He had an odd habit of naming the weapons."

"That's him all right. Mine is StarLight."

"StarLight huh? A beautiful name for a girl. Our swords should get married hahahaha."

Silence...

"Anyway, what are you trying to accomplish?"

"We're trying to get the orbs left by the Crescent Blue Moon. I'm his descendant."

"I see. Is something going to happen?"

"I'm not sure. There was a prophecy saying that there will be a new evil years from now, so Lightning wanted us to find all of them."

"I don't know what evil will happen, but rest assured I will train you in the art of sword combat so you will be prepared when the time comes."

"Alright. I appreciate it Mr. Kise."

"Lets head out into the forest. We'll begin there. I'll teach you the basics of using a sword. When we get past that, I'll teach you something useful, if you got potential."

"I have to make a living some way. A traveler needs money and food," Miroku said.

Asuka, Miroku and the kids were enjoying a nice meal in the field.

"I thoughts monks were suppose to be all good and bald."

"Well monks are good, but I don't believe in the stereotype about them having to be bald."

"Your the first I've ever seen with hair."

"Well I am young. I hope my hair doesn't leave me anytime soon. Ha ha ha."

"So about that right hand if yours..."

Miroku suddenly got quiet.

"If you don't want to tell me its alright."

"It's okay. I can tell you. This hole in my hand, the wind tunnel, was forced upon me by a demon named Naraku. He pierced my hand and created the hole. I narrowly escaped being sucked in."

"Why don't you want to use it? It could do a lot of good."

"I would want to refrain from using it. The hole gets bigger as long as Naraku lives. I vow to defeat him before the hole engulfs me. I don't know when that day will come but in the sense that I fail in finding or defeating Naraku."

Miroku took Asuka's hands.

"I want you to bear my child, so they can carry on the mission in defeating Naraku."

"Oooooo are you Asuka's husband hehe," Brandon teased.

Asuka's face turned red and was ready to slap him but lowered her hand.

"No I'm too young for that. I can understand you wanting someone to carry on your duty. Gohan and I have something to take care of ourselves."

"What is Gohan to you?"

"He's a uhhh, well he's my ummmm..."

"Oh I beg your pardon. So your more than a companion?"

Asuka's face flushed red.

"My, this is awkward."

"Now you listen here monk boy, Gohan is my friend, nothing more, nothing less."

"I see. Well Asuka I thank you for the meal."

"Are you going somewhere?"

"I have to keep traveling. As each day passes, Naraku is still living and my wind tunnel gets bigger. I want to defeat him as quickly as possible. I bid farewell miss Asuka. Please give my thanks to Gohan as well."

He walks away.

"Do your think your strong enough to defeat him?"

Miroku stopped.

"What are you implying?"

"If you couldn't defeat him the first time, what makes you can the next time?"

"...somehow, someway, I will defeat him, or else..."

He looked at his right hand.

"This wind tunnel will beat me first."

"It seems like you'll need help. Your welcome to travel with us. We're on a mission too."

"Oh, and what would that be?"

"Finding the crescent moon orbs."

"I've heard about them. They were scattered around the world by Minato Namikaze. Why are you looking for them?"

"Something evil will be approaching and we need to gather them all. Gohan is his descendant so it's his destiny or something."

"Interesting. Well I humbly accept your offer to travel with you. Naraku is a tough demon though."

"We're tougher. We'll look the orbs and this Naraku along the way."

"Thank you."

"It's no problem. Are you kids done eating?"

"Yeah," they all said.

"Now what do you say?"

"Thank you Asuka-Sama."

"It seems your a natural with children. All the more to-"

"Don't say it."

"Right."

"We'll let's go back to the village."

"Watch me again. Let the energy flow into your body and into your sword. Making a perfect slice, you unleash the energy, resulting in the slash wave."

Kise demonstrated with his sword. His energy emitting from him, then pouring into the sword. In one fell swoop, he slashed 4 tress in a perfect line.

"Again Gohan, just concentrate and pour your energy out into your blade."

Gohan was exhausting himself but he listened without complaint.

"Huff huff huff ok."

Gohan concentrated emitting his energy into StarLight. The blade starting pulsing.

"Yes that's good. Don't put too much or not enough. Just the right amount and then, unleash it."

Energy was pouring out of Gohan. The sword was glowing with blue aura.

"Slash wave!"

Gohan let loose a big wave the cut down a tree. It wasn't cut in a perfect slice, but cut otherwise. Half of the forest was gone with constant slash waves. Gohan was pouring down sweat.

"That's enough for now. Keep on an you'll tire yourself out. You and your friends can rest up in my house."

"Huff huff thank you."

"I can tell that that sword was made specifically for you."

"How do you know that?"

"Well your father did make a sword for his son. I can see that you two share a bond, as if you've already went through battle."

Gohan thinks back to the fight with Bunji.

"I guess you could say that."

"Anyway, lets head back."

Nightfall has fallen on the village. All of them meet back up.

"Hey guys, how was lunch," Gohan asked.

"It was good. I saved you an extra sandwich. Here's one for you too Kise," Asuka said handing them both a sandwhich.

"Thank you. You guys are welcome to stay the night. How long are you planning to be in the village?"

"Not very long. We have to be on the move soon though. I'll be back, I need to take the kids home."

"Bye monk, old man," Brandon says.

"Old? I'm, never mind," Gohan said sighing.

She escorts the kids to their respective homes.

"What will you do Miroku," Gohan asked.

"I'll be traveling with you two."

"That's great. Having another ally will help us find the orbs faster."

"I'm glad. I also hope you'll help in my task as well."

"You have something to do to?"

"Yes, I have a-"

Boom! Out in the distance, a serpent was tearing through the fields working its way towards the village.

"Another serpent," Gohan yells.

"These things are relentless," Miroku says.

"What's going on?"

Asuka came back moments later.

"A serpent has made it's way in the village. I'll have to end this quick."

Miroku began unwrapping his beads. Kise stopped him.

"Wait a minute. I think this is a good opportunity for Gohan to try out his new technique."

"New technique," Asuka and Miroku say.

"It's still not perfect but..."

"What not better opponent to try it on? Get a move on Gohan. We'll stay behind."

"R, right."

Gohan pulled out StarLight and charges after the serpent.

"Haaaaaaaa!"

He easily gets smacked with it's tail. He falls and drops the sword.

"Gohan," Asuka called out.

"Don't interfere. Just watch," Kise said keeping his composure.

The serpent lunges for Gohan. He rolls outta the way. He quickly runs and picks up the sword. They stand across from each other. Gohan closes his eyes and focuses his energy into the sword.

"What's he doing," Asuka asks.

"He's readying the slash wave. We were practicing that technique all evening. He has a grip on it, but it's not perfect. Maybe this time..."

The serpent charged at Gohan, it's mouth wide open.

"Now! Slash wave!"

He sliced his sword down which created a huge slash between the serpent. It was cut in half.

"Wow that was awesome Gohan," she says running to him.

"Thanks, I feel, slightly, tired ugh."

Gohan falls on the field.

"Don't worry. He's fatigued himself out. I'll carry him. Everybody, get some rest," Kise said.

"Kise, I have something I would like to discuss with you," Miroku says.

"I see. Well then, lets head back."
