Hey,
i didn't actually want to upload today but hey, just because im in a horrid mood doesn't mean i want to disappoint you guys. It's just that im losing support on this story and it started out as an amazing journey and it's quite disheartening but i'll recover.
Anyway, im so sick of A&E ruining Robin and Regina's characters because they are so symbolic and important to me. Their equilibrium is so important and they're just juggling with it. It gets me so upset.
End rant, here it is.
Life is a highway chapter 26:
As Regina and Henry were going on other rides in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Emma and Killian were walking around Hogsmeade.
Emma was looking at a Gryffindor scarf, she fondly remembers the Harry Potter novels that she read growing up, some part of her believing that magic was real as a young, lost girl.
"Of what significance is that scarf to you?" Asked Killian.
"Well, it's the house scarf of Gryffindor. The house representing bravery."
"Sounds a lot like you,"
"Haha, it was my favorite house when I read the books. I always thought I could relate to Harry, an orphaned boy who felt like he couldn't fit anywhere. Until he found his home at Hogwarts."
"You've found your home too love, you've found your mom, dad, and even your son. Storybrooke is your Hogwarts in an essence isn't it?"
Emma nodded and stroked the scarf gently before walking to another section.
They walked out of the store together, Emma doubling over in laughed at Killian trying the vomit flavored jelly bean.
"I didn't think you would really do it!"
"A pirate never backs down from a challenge," he grimaced and Emma cracked up again.
She was laughing so hard she had to lean on the wall for support. Killian was cringing and gulping down on a slushie that he bought.
Regina approached the laughing duo and asked, "What's going on?"
Henry saw the jelly bean box in Killian's hand and asked, "Did you eat the vomit flavored one?"
Killian nodded, Henry dug in the box for a identical jelly bean and ate it.
Regina looked at Henry in pure shock. At first, he said, "It's not that bad to be..." and then he grimaced in a manner identical to Killian and started gagging.
"Oh God, this is so bad."
Regina cracked up laughing and handed Henry dug out his water bottle to try and get rid of the taste.
"It lingers," said Henry as he chugged down mouths of water.
The four of them went on to the Dragon Challenge and took the Hogwarts express.
They then went to the Simpsons ride and got wet at the Jaws ride before deciding that it was time to head back.
Henry was fast asleep on Killian's shoulder by the time they reached the car, exhausted by the day's events.
As Regina drove in silence, Emma was gazing out of the window taking the scenery.
Back at Storybrooke,
Now that Robin knew that Regina was still in this state called, "America," he was relieved that it was going to be easier to try and find her.
Well, that was just about the only clue he had as to where she was, other than that, David had no idea where exactly in America she was.
He had gone out a few times with Marian and Roland just to try and maintain some form of normality for their son.
He frowned every week as he noticed Marian mirroring his dark eye circles and she looked thinner with each passing week.
He felt a pang of guilt every time he saw her in the park by herself when he had Roland, silently watching the ducks in the pond waddle.
Most of his time was now invested into finding Regina and working with David on how to win Regina back. He was going to make sure she knew she was wanted and that he would never let her go ever again.
Back in Miami,
Regina had tucked Henry into bed and made sure the door was locked before meeting Emma and Killian in the lobby to go for some drinks.
The trio headed to a nearby bar, Killian got a Sex on the Beach, Emma got a Mai Tai and Regina, a Bloody Mary.
"How has this weird and wild country been for you?" Asked Emma to Regina.
"I've seen some new things, tried some new things, done some very new things but overall, it's been great."
Killian was silently nursing his drink and called for a cheers.
"Cheers ladies, to a weird and wild world."
They all clinked their glasses and Killian downed his.
"Ho okay Captain, you might wanna slow down on that, it's really strong." Said Emma
"Love, if there's anything a pirate can legitimately do, it's holding his alcohol."
Killian ordered a club soda next and Emma frowned and continued sipping on her drink. Until he started ordering more drinks more rapidly and even Regina began to grow worried.
"Killian I think we should go now," said Emma.
"Nonsense, I've barely started."
"Killian I really think that's enough for today." Came Regina.
"No snappy remarks? Has the alcohol screwed your brain? Loosen up your majesty."
It was to the point that Killian was showing signs of aggression that Regina and Emma had to physically drag him out of the bar.
"Aye what was that for, I wasn't even half drunk."
He pulled out a flask of rum from his coat and continued drinking.
Regina could see that Emma was visibly frustrated and trying to hold back the urge to yell. So she quickly magicked them back to the hotel.
"I think you should share a room with Henry tonight Emma."
"I think you're right,"
So Regina and Emma bid each other goodnight and Regina went to get Killian cleaned up.
To those still reviewing and following, thank you. Means a lot to me, mwah.
