Sean opened his eyes. He couldn't believe it. He was still alive. He looked up. The Doctors, Dalek Sam, Ace, Susan and Captain Jack were staring back at him, in front of dozens of damaged Dalek shells. The 11th Doctor offered Sean his hand. He took it and ran with them to the TARDIS (which had just materialised in the corner).
The Brigadier welcomed them as they walked up to the central console. The 7th, 8th and 11th Doctors helped the 2nd, 3rd and 10th Doctors operate the TARDIS, each Doctor stood at a different part of the six sided console. The TARDIS engine noises started and the ship began to shake.
Donna, the 1st Doctor, the 6th Doctor, the 9th Doctor and Rose entered the console room.
"Ah, just who we need!" Said the Brigadier, striding over to them. "I heard a rather strange noise coming from the TARDIS graveyard. I want you to investigate it,"
"Just exactly how do you know the TARDIS has a graveyard, hmm?" Asked the 1st Doctor.
"I happened to stumble across it," He explained. "I'm not sure what the noise was but it sounded fairly suspicious,"
"Oh, fantastic. That's all I need right now. A trip to a graveyard to remind me of the deaths I've encountered during the Time War," Said the 9th Doctor.
"Our feelings are not what matters at the moment, Doctor," The Brigadier said. "We need to take precautions. If this noise turned out to be a bomb, we'd all be dead alongside those who died in this 'war' you mentioned. Now I strongly advise you investigate this noise immediately,"
"He's right, Doctor," Rose said. "Come on. Let's go,"
The 9th Doctor led the group down the TARDIS corridor. The Brigadier watched, then turned to the others.
"Now then," He said. "Whose up for a game of Tiddly Winks?"
The graveyard was large, contained around a thousand different gravestones, all shiny, and decorated with a mixture of different flowers. Rose bent down and read one of the gravestones. 'RIP Adric. Your bravery in the face of danger will never be forgotten,' it read.
"Doctor?" She asked. "Who's Adric?"
The 9th Doctor stared grief-stricken at the gravestone, as if a past agony had come back to haunt him.
"Oh, Adric…." He whispered quietly.
"Am I really going to become that sentimental?" The 6th Doctor scoffed.
The 9th Doctor stood up and glared in anger at him.
"Can you not once in your short incarnation's life show a little respect?"
"Oh, I am showing some respect," The 6th Doctor retorted back. "For your incarnation's stupidity!"
"With all due respect, you're the one looking stupid here," The 1st Doctor butted in.
"And who are you to talk about sentimentality?" The 6th Doctor snarled. "You smacked a caveman on the head with a rock!"
"I did no such thing!" The 1st Doctor shouted back.
"Not yet you haven't," The 9th Doctor pointed out. "And he can hardly talk either. When I was him, I nearly killed my own companion. You've seen her. Peri is lucky to be alive,"
Rose stared at him in wide-eyed shock.
"But you won't kill me, though?" Rose pondered. "I mean, you wouldn't dare, would you? Mum would murder you,"
"No. No, I won't. I was having a mid-life crisis," The 9th Doctor reassured her.
"Mid-life crisis? MID-LIFE CRISIS? I'm perfectly stable, thank you very much!" The 6th Doctor bellowed.
"Stable?" The 1st Doctor chuckled. "I wouldn't quite say that,"
"Leave it, granddad!" Donna advised. "We're never gonna hear this noise if everyone's shouting at one another,"
The group fell silent. A quiet electronic humbling noise filled the room.
"It's coming from over there!" Said Donna, pointing to the other end of the room.
They ran to the opposite end of the graveyard, the 1st Doctor desperately trying to keep up and found a square metal machine hidden behind a gravestone marked 'RIP Susan Foreman?'.
As they all examined the machine, three Daleks emerged from behind a couple of gravestones and glided towards them. This was their chance. Their chance to take them by surprise. And they would all die.
